Problem running installer CS6 on MAC

I've downloaded the cs6 trial alright but when I'm running to install the dmg file it starts to extract it but in the end comes an error message saying the following disk images couldn't be opened "DesignWebPremium_C invalid checksum" any ideas why?

The error occurs if the file got corrupted during the download. A slow or intermittent internet connection may cause this.
If the download is complete, you can swith off error checking from the disk utility and try. See instructions to do that in the following thread: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4370247#4370247
Switching off Error checking will ignore minor errors and it just might work. Else, I'm afraid, you'll need to download again.

Problems running Photoshop CS6 under OS 10.8 Mountain Lion

Since updating the OS from 10.6.7 to OS 10.8 on iMacs (21" and 24" Intel 2.4GHz) I have experienced problems running Photoshop. The app boots up fine and I can start a project as normal, but when I click on a tool to change it's usage I get the spinning beach ball, this lasts about 5 - 10 seconds and then the tool drop down menu appears. After this, I get the beach ball appearing every few minutes as I try to work, and the only way to get Photoshop running efficiently is to close it down and then restart.
Any ideas as to the cause? I've read on forums from both Adobe and Apple that apparently there are no compatibility issues between Mountain Lion and CS6 but I never had this problem previously under Snow Leopard.

The next two remedial steps would be to reset all tools by right-clicking here:
and if that does not resolve the problem, reset Preferences;
To reset Preferences:
If Photoshop is already open on your screen, close it (Quit). Then hold down Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and start Photoshop.
A dialog box will pop up asking if you want to delete the existing Preferences file (the "Settings"). Click Yes in the dialog box. The existing Preferences file will be scrapped and a new one will be created.

Problem running java applications on Mac Mini.

I have a Mac Mini. Days ago, I started having problems running java applications. Right now, I can not run any java application or even a plugin into a web page.
I downloaded and reinstalled java from Oracle website, but the problem remains unsolve.
Anyone can help me?

What error indications do you get? You have to enable error logging in the Java Control Panel to see the details.

Problems running PSE 8 in Mac

Greetings:
I am running into problems trying to successfully run PSE 8 on an iMac. I have tried installing from the CD, a trial version download and have repeated uninstall and re-install thrice atleast with the same issues. When I organize my pictures in Bridge CS4 and want to edit in PSE 8, I get the following error msg:
"Some of the application components are missing from the application directory, Please re-install the application".
Although the msg seems self explanatory it is not specific as to what is missing and none of my attempts to uninstall and re-install has eliminated this problem. I have seen a few others have posted this error msg for different applications other than PSE 8 on Mac. If any of you have run into this and successfully recovered from this error, I would be glad to hear your suggestions.

Uninstall PSE 8 (use the uninstaller from applications>Adobe PSE 8.0), then run this:

Create a new admin user and try reinstalling from there. Repair permissions after installing.

Problem running Illustrator CS6 trial

Hi, I have installed the trial of Illustrator CS6. It seems that everything was fine, but when I try to run the program, it asks me to sign in as a valid user. I press the button and after some minutes there is a message telling me that there is no an Internet Connection or the clock is not set. I've checked and everything is ok. Can you help me?. Thanks

Internet is not required to run the trial version.
Adobe ID check happens and may be firewall or host file may be restricting the Adobe software call to Adobe server.

You can disconnect the internet and countinue the installation to start the trial, once done re-connect the internet.

PROBLEM INSTALLING PHOTOSHOP CS6 ON MAC LAPTOP

WHEN I CLICK THE INSTALL FOLDER FOR THE PHOTOSHOP CS6 ON MY MAC LAPTOP, IT WILL NOT GO TO THE NEXT SCREEN SO I CAN ENTER THE SERIAL NUMBER TO UPLOAD.

Have you tried pressing the return key? Which Mac laptop are you using? What are the settings you see under Resolution in the Display preference pane?

Problem running Illustrator CS6 for the first time

I just installed Illustrator CS6 from the Creative Cloud and the following message appears as I try to start the program "Unable to set maximum number of files to be opened" and then it closes again.

This was a known bug for some users in 16.0.0. It seems to have gotten fixed in the latest update (16.1.0) that was released end August. Run the update (look under Help > Updates) and hopefully this issue should get resolved.

Problems running installer for JRE

hello,
i tried to run the online installer for the JRE, and it waited for 5 seconds, and displayed a message:
"Please refresh the page to restart installation"
I tried refreshing the page and trying to restart the installation, but the message keeps repeating every time i try to install JRE. It's an endless loop.
So i downloaded the offline installer, but when i tried to run it, nothing happened.
So... Yeah. I'm looking for some help.

HELP! I have a problem running AE CS6!!!

Well, whenever i start AE. And and it goeas on like "loading", but when it comes on Initalizing MediaCore it stops "loading" and it doesn't start. I double click on it and it crashes. It used to work before! Thanks!

You need to provide system information. as a start, trash the prefs and manualyl flush the meduia cache. also update/ un-update your graphics driver and reinstall Quicktime. Also run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool and reinstall AE.

Major glitches with Encore CS6 on Mac

Hi, I am having a major problem with Encore CS6 on mac. Whenever I have tried to build a DVD (using a DVD+R disk in the superdrive of my MBP) it makes my screen glitch, and my computer freeze up.
I would appreciate it if you could help me with this ASAP because I need to have this project done no later than the 20th of December.

I'm running OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion on my mid 2012 Macbook Pro with 16Gb of Ram, and a 2.6GHz dual core i7 processor.
What do you mean by build to a folder or image? (I'm still relatively new to Encore.)

I have a problem with InDesign CS6 on Mac OSX 10.9.3 and I'm really desperate right now...
I've installed the CS6 Master Collection some days ago.. all programs (f.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) are working fine, but InDesign doesn't.
When I try to start it, it suddenly crashes during (or immediately after) the step "Starting up Service Registry":

Help!! Cannot run installer files

I seem to be having a problem running installer files. Once I double click on to run a file, i get an error message saying that there is no default application to run the document ..
I am trying to install Safari, and iWork

The default application to open installer files is Installer, located in /Application/Utilities. There is a bug where it sometimes vanishes. If this has happened to you, you'll need to reinstall it. To do so, use Pacifist to retrieve it from your original system installer disks.

It looks like you're actually using a camera or phone to take a photo of your monitor.
That's not what is commonly known as a "screen shot".
It looks like you're on a Mac. Hitting Command+Shift+3 places a capture of the contents of your entire monitor on your Desktop; hitting Command+Shift+4 will give you a cross-hairs cursor for you to select just the portion you want to capture.
I'm mentioning this because I fear I'm not construing your original post correctly when you type "I am working with a large files [sic], currently it has 149 layers, all of which are high resolution photographs", so I'm wondering if there's some similar use of your own idiosyncratic nomenclature in your description of your troublesome file.
Perhaps I'm just having a major senior moment myself, but I'm utterly unable to imagine such a file. Would you mind elaborating?

Indesign CS6 on MACs with OS 10.8 are having problems with links

Indesign CS6 on MACs with 10.8 are having problems with links. All links to other files have to be updated when opening a file although definitely nothing has changed to the linked files.
We can rule out our company's networking and the system hosting the files (HELIOS software on RedHat Linux VM). This happens with newly created Indesign files and with old ones. E.g. we create a file on Tuesday, save it and open it again on the exact same MAC on Wednesday and all links to other fiels (.indd, .png, .bmp, etc. nothing uncommon) have to be updated as they all show the yellow triangle + black exclamation mark symbol next to them. Has anybody else experienced this, What can we do? We have tried absolutley everything and updated all software from MAC OS to CS6 itself but nothing seems to help on the long run.
Any further information required?

We actually noticed that there also seems to be something wrong with the timestamps:
If we open the infos via the MAC finder to a file (.psd e.g.) which is linked in one of our indesign files, it states a certain date of creation.
If we then switch to the Indesign file we just opened in which we had to update all links and open the infos to exactly the same file we looked at in the finder, a different date of creation is stated. So there also seems to be a mistake here (hope it's clear what I mean).
We are ruling out our network as the error cannot be "re-enacted". We have created numerous test files in Indesign (simple white page containing one link to a .psd file which is also used in one of the supposedly defective files) and have opened them on various MACs with various OS versions over the past days/weeks but unfortunately the files open without any notifications or errors.
Just as a background: a few months ago, the problem seemed to occur between MACs with differing OS, 10.6 - 10.8 at first. A file which was created on a 10.6 MAC could not be opened without updating all links on a 10.8 MAC. That is why we updated everything to 10.8. The error did not occur for about 2-3 weeks but then reoccured again.?
Have you heard anything similar?

Running Audition CS6 on OS X ver 10.10.2 Installs but won't play audio

Running Audition CS6 on OS X ver 10.10.2. It installs just fine, and when I hit the space bar after installing, says it's playing on the bottom left. But it doesn't Just sits there and does nothing. Is there a known issue with 10.10.2?

The only known issue with Audition's transport not wanting to move on a correctly installed system is when it gets itself disconnected from a sound device. Initially you should go to Edit>Preferences>Audio Hardware and make sure that your (well I'm guessing slightly here as it's a Mac and I don't have one) aggregated sound device is the one selected.
