Problem setting up database for dreamweaver 8 to use on testing server

I am trying to try out dreamweavers database features, by
trying to set up a connection to mysql database. How ever I recieve
errors when trying to select my database. Either I get a long error
that says it can not find localhost//_mmHTTP... something like that
or undefiend errors message.
I am using wamp5 set up on my local machine that installed
apachie, php, mysql in one package. So maybe that has something to do
with it, but none the less can someone give me a example of how
they set theirs up to work with examples of where files should be
located I can not seem to find anything like this in google, and I
dont want to set it up on a remote server yet until I tested things
on my local machine.

Thanks Seth,
I ran jcounsole, but I don't see anything except the process monitor registered.
I don't think the server is starting sucessfully after the exception becuase I don't see the other parts
of the application running.
I forgot to mention in the last post that I've also added the line
<BR>
<BR>
-Xbootclasspath/a:C:\bea\wlevs20\bin\mysql-connector-java-3.0.17-ga-bin.jar
<BR>
to the startup script to add in the location of the jar file that contains the JDBC driver.
I was going to post the full stacktrace, but it's fairly long so I'll hold off unless you think it may help.
I do get one additional exception after the <Server STARTED> message which is:
A service of type "com.bea.core.datasource.DataSource:com.bea.core.datasource.DataSourceFactory" from file "OSGI-INF/datasource.xml" in bundle "com.bea.core.datasource" could not be advertised because all required services are not available. In particular, these are not available:
     1. RequiredReferenceImpl(filter="(objectClass=com.bea.core.transaction.TransactionManagerService)")
<BR>
but I think it may be related to the fact that the data source isn't being created.
<BR>
Thanks very much for taking a look,
<BR>
Mike

  • SQL ENTERPRISE: The edition of Reporting Services that you are using requires that you use local SQL Server relational databases for report data sources and the report server database

The error below makes absolutely no sense! I'm using Enterprise Core...yet I'm being told I can't use remote data sources:
w3wp!library!8!03/05/2015-19:08:48:: i INFO: Catalog SQL Server Edition = EnterpriseCore
w3wp!library!8!03/05/2015-19:08:48:: e ERROR: Throwing Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.OperationNotSupportedException: , Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.OperationNotSupportedException: The feature: "The edition of Reporting
    Services that you are using requires that you use local SQL Server relational databases for report data sources and the report server database." is not supported in this edition of Reporting Services.;
Really? This totally contradicts the documentation found here:
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms157285(v=sql.110).aspx
That article says remote connections are completely supported.
ARGH! Why does this have to be so difficult to setup?!?

    Hi jeffoliver1000,
According to your description, you are using Enterprise Core edition and you are prompted that you can’t use remote data sources.
In your scenario, we neither ignore your point nor be doubt with what you say. But actually we have met the case before that even though the SQL Server engine is Enterprise but the reporting services is still standard. So I would recommend you to find the
actual edition of reporting services you are using. You can find Reporting Services starting SKU in the Reporting Service logs ( default location: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\<instance name>\Reporting Services\LogFiles). For more information,
please refer to the similar thread below:

By the way, have you installed the other SQL Server edition before?

  • Setting Importance Level for a email message using javax.mail.* API

Setting Importance Level for a email message using javax.mail.* API
From what I understand we can set Flag on Email Message. How can we set Importance Leve: High/Low for an email message?
    Thanks
    Purvi

Most of the message Flags work only for IMAP mailboxes. POP3 supports only the DELETED flag. It must be understood that Javamail is a framework which provides all the features available in a standard mailing system. But whether or not a particular feature works is a functionality of the particular implementation being used.
Thus for example POP3 cannot differentiate read from unread messages in a mailbox though Javamail provides that feature.

  • Really weird problem setting up FTP in Dreamweaver MX 2004 for Mac.

I'm new to Dreamweaver for all that I've had it for years. Been using GoLive. Using Dreamweaver that is part of Studio MX 2004. I'm trying to set up FTP. Tell Dreamweaver to Create New Dreamweaver Site. Name the site. Don't use server technology. Pick the folder where I want my files. Tell it I want to use FTP to connect to my server. Give it the name of the host server. Tell it which folder I want to use for my files on the server. Here's where it gets interesting:
When I type the url for the folder in the field, as I type "html" it draws a strike through the "l" in "html".
I've tried typing the url in Text Edit, then copy and paste into the field. I get the same result as if I had just typed it in the field.
Deleted and re-installed Dreamweaver by itself. No difference.
Deleted and re-installed everything associated with Studio MX 2004. No difference.
Ran TechTool to see if there might be a disk problem but that came back fine. Have not run my anti-virus, ClamXav, yet. Don't have any anti-spyware software.
Running Mac OS 10.4.11 on an iMac G5 iSight.
I know just how oddball this problem sounds and I realize that I could use Fetch or Cyberduck but I would like my software to work. Anybody have any ideas?

Wiped and re-installed my computer. Now that part of Dreamweaver works. Some bug somewhere that's now been eliminated. Now it has a new problem that I will ask about in a new thread.

  • Noob trying to set up PHP for DreamWeaver

When I paste this into the command prompt:
cd Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\bin mysql -uroot
    -pPassword CafeTownsend < tutorial.sql
    I get this:
The system cannnot find the file specified.
I have checked everything I can think of. I checked the file
path. I checked the file name. I don't recall me specifying a User
Name when I installed MySQL.( I think that would cause another
error message all together.) I triple checked to make sure I had
the SQL script file in the bin file. I suspect there must be
something here really obvious that I am missing... Can someone
shine the light of experience on this situation.
    Thank you.

The root user is the MySQL superuser with complete control
    over every
database and user account. It is created by default, so you
    don't need
to specify anything when installing MySQL. A new installation
    of MySQL
is not password protected (if it were, you wouldn't be able
    to get in).
That's why I said it assumes that your root password is
    Password. The
lowercase p in front of Password is the instruction to MySQL
    that you
are supplying the password. If you use that particular way of
    accessing
MySQL, there must be no space between p and Password (or
    whatever your
password is). Since it involves typing out your password in
    plain text,
the normal way is to type just the p. After you press Enter,
    MySQL then
prompts you to enter your password. If you haven't set a
    password,
though, you should leave out the p.

    -uroot -pPassword

No, it doesn't. It contains three commands as follows:
    cd \
    cd Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\bin
mysql -uroot -pPassword CafeTownsend < tutorial.sql
The first command (cd \) changes your current directory to
    the top level
of the C drive. The alternative that I gave you accomplishes
    the first
two commands in a single step.

MySQL doesn't run on port 80; it uses port 3306 by default.
    The fact
that you have managed to create the database through the
    MySQL Command
Line Client indicates that MySQL is working correctly.
    However, you do
need to be concerned about ports and firewalls on your own
    machine. One
of the most common causes of problems with server-side
    development is
the fact that the Windows firewall (or other security
    software) is
blocking communication between Dreamweaver and Apache and/or
    MySQL.

  • Setting up MySQL for Dreamweaver 8

I set up MySQL on my Macintosh yesterday, along with PHP --

    "An unidentified error has occurred"
    and then
"HTTP Error Code 404 File Not Found....
[Possible Reasons]: 1) No testing server running on this machine.
    2) The Testing Server specified for this site does not map to the http://127.0.0.1/~robert/Sites/_mmServerScripts/MMHTTPDB.php?Type=MySQL&Connecti onString=host=localhost;uid=dwmx;pwd=mm&Host=localhost&&UserName=dmwx&Password=m m&Timeout=30 URL. Verifiy that the URL prefixs points to the root of the site."
Any clue? I know little about PHP or Unix, but am trying to learn.

Great info - thank you, David! I will be trying that this
    afternoon.
Before I do, however, I need to clarify whether I am doing
    this the "best"
way in my decision to use MAMP. I was looking for the
    quickest, easiest way
to get a Testing Server setup so that I could test out
    multiple client
sites. In your opinion, is my approach the best solution? Do
    I need to
    purchase MAMP Pro?
    Thanks again, much appreciated!

  • Problem setting Unicode (utf-8) in http header using tomcat

    Hi:
I am trying to set a file name in utf-8 to http header using the following code:
    response.setContentType("text/html; charset=utf-8");
    response.setHeader("Content-disposition", "attachment; filename=&#35299;&#27770;.zip");
// I actually has file name in utf-8 here to set to the header, and I know that the name is correctly
// and I also looked into the response object MimeHeaders object and saw the head is correctly there
then write the content of zip file using ServletOutputStream.
The problem I have is that the file name is not displayed correctly when prompted to save or open in the pop up window next. I found out using Fiddler that the request header is wrong:
    Content-disposition: attachment; filename=&#65533;zn&#65533;.zip
I am using Tomcat 5.0.28. Any idea how to get this working?
    Thanks in advance!

You are setting the charset for the content to be UTF-8. (That is why the method is called setContentType.) But HTTP headers are not part of the content and so that has no effect on the header.
The original specification for HTTP only allowed US-ASCII characters in headers. It is possible that more recent versions have features that allow for non-ASCII header data, but I don't know if that is the case or how you would use those features if they exist.

  • Set a timeout for crystal sessions while using the Windows.Forms.Viewer?

    Hi,
I am looking for a way to set the timeout for the crystal report sessions when using the Windows.Forms.Viewer in a .NET application. I guess that the default value is 20 minutes (like in the entperprise installations) but we cannot afford to keep many sessions open for that long. Is there a registry entry which can be set? Or even a way to do this programmatically?
    Thank you in advance,
    Stratos

    Hi David,
we are talking here about a standalone .NET application where the reports are installed locally (like the application itself). We are not retrieving the reports from a server. The whole thing was developed using the crystal report viewer model probably because it was easier to do so. Is there a method in this model to tell the crystal runtime to do the clean-up work either for a report (like the ReportDocument.Close() ) or for the entire runtime instance. Dispose() does not seem to help us. If you say that there is no other way than redesign then we have to consider this option also.
    Cheers
    Stratos
PS: What I was thinking of (as Plan B instead of using the ReportDocument object model) is to instantiate the crystal report viewer object in a separate process (.exe). Please note that we open a new crystal report viewer windows for each report, which is displayed. Closing the viewer window (ie. terminate the process) will at least then clean up and release the crystal DLLs and hopefully close the database connections. Or am I missing something here?

  • How do I set proxy settings for a Java app behind a corporate server?

I have the source code of a Download Manager program written in Java. It has to be run within my college network in which we use the "Corporate Client" server to access the internet. The HTTP proxy is 172.16.68.6 and Port number is 3128. How do I define these parameters in my java program so that it can download files from the internet?

Thank you for the quick reply! But the solution provided by you, it seems, has still not been able to address my issue. I ran the program at command prompt with your said parameters, but the download still gave an error in the App window.
Also, is there some way of defining these parameters in the source code? I am keen in using NetBeans to run the program.
    Cheers!

  • How to set print option for a Billing document using T-code VF02

    Hi All,
Please suggest me the way to set print option for a Billing document for T-code VF02 and please let me know how to get print preview for any particular Billing document?
    regards
    Anand.

    Enter the billing documents detail
    Goto Goto> Header>Output.
Check the status for your output type in this screen.
If it is green then come back to the VF03 screen.Enter the billing document number.
Click on Billing document-->Issue output to.
Press (CtrlShiftF1) or click on the icon beside "Print options".
Here you can see the print preview.
If the status is red then click on the processing log. Here you will get the error messages.
If the status is in yellow colour, then click on the "Further Data" button
Set "Dispatch time" as "4 Send immediately (when saving the application)"
Before the print preview option you should make sure you have added correct output type to the relevant billing document. To do that, go to transaction VF02.
    Enter the billing document no
Go to Menu option -> Go to -> Header -> Output
In that screen you have to add relevant output type. (Standard output type is RD00)
Add that & press enter key
Highlight that line & press "Further Data" button
Set "Dispatch time" as "4 Send immediately (when saving the application)"
    Press "Back" Button
again select that line & go to "Communication method" button
    Set "Logical destination" as LOCAL"
Don't mark "Print immediately" & "Release after output" ticks. If you mark them, sa soon as you save the billing document, you'll get a print out.
    Press "Back" Button
    Save
Now form the initial "Change Billing Document" screen, Go to Menu option; Billing Document -> Issue Output to
You can see that output type line appear.
select that line & press "Print Preview" button or (CTRLSHIFTF1)
You can see the print preview.
Alternatively you can use VF31 to print multiple print outs at same time.
If you want to get PDF outputs of billing documents, go to your printer settings in the your computer from Control Panel.
Set PDF Writer as "Default Printer" (Right click & select "Set as Default Printer")
Then normal way, print the billing from SAP.
It'll automatically send to your PDF writer. You can save it to the path you want,

How to set persistent binding for QLA2300 (Sun branded ) HBA using qlc driver from Sun?
Are there any CLI's for it?
    Is it done automatically?
Is there any way by which we can infer that persistent binding is done?
    Platform: Solaris 9 on SPARC

Persistent binding is effectively provided by STMS (MPxIO) - is there anything in particular you're wanting to do that STMS doesn't provide?

  • Problems generating a cert for ACS 4.1 using MS 2008 R2 Cert Svcs

I am having difficulty installing a certicate on ACS that was generated using Microsoft Certificate services under Server 2008 R2.  The problem I'm having is finding documentation that addresses using ACS 4.1 and Microsoft Cert Svcs 2008 R2.  There is plenty of documentation using Server 2003 Cert Svcs but not 2008.
I follow the instructions for 2003 and there are differences in the interfaces.  I think I'm picking the right options but after the cert is installed and the CA is added, I still can't turn on SSL because it says there are no certs installed.  I installed the self signed cert and that worked.  Cant figure out what I'm doing wrong.  Can anyone provide instructions for generating the cert using Server 2008 R2 certificate services?

    Thanks Nate.
    Here's what I tried:
After receiving your response I tried again and it worked.  I had to create a template on the sert server and use it when generating the cert.  I couldnt find "Server Authentication" in the "Enhanced Key Usage" field.  It only gave the option of exchange or encrypt or both exchange and encrypt.  I left it at the default.
The only thing I did different was the template I used.  The cert template "Web Server" didnt work.  I copied it as a server 2003 template and that was the trick.  Previously I created a server 2008 template that did not work.
For anyone reading this the closest instructions I could find are at:
    https://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/secursw/ps2086/products_configuration_example09186a0080545a29.shtml#backinfo
They dont mention that you need a server 2003 template in the instructions on how to create a template tho...
