Problem using Tuxedo from different network

We are using Tuxedo (7.1) with Clarify eFrontOffice.
We are trying to access Tuxedo from a different network. We have a NAT address and opened the port for WSL (48800) and also a range (specified in the ubbconfig and compiled) specified for the WSH. When the Clarify client is started, it is connecting to the WSL on port 48800. When tuxedo returns the WSH port to the Client, it is also returning the IP of the server. Since the IP is not recognized in the 2nd network the communication is failing. Is there a way to retun server name instead of IP or a different IP?
Thanx

Raju,
When using Network Address Translation with /WS you should specify the -H
option to WSL (after the -- option) so that the address of the WSH can be
mapped back to an address that the client will understand. A bug related to
the WSL -- -H option was fixed at Tuxedo 7.1 rolling patch level 165, so you
should obtain the latest 7.1 rolling patch if you are running at an earlier
patch level.
The description of the -H option at
http://e-docs.bea.com/tuxedo/tux71/html/rf537.htm is as follows:
[-H external-netaddr]
Specifies the complete network address to be used as a well known address
template of the WSH process. The address will be combined with a WSH network
address to generate a well known network address used by the Workstation
client to connect to a WSH process. It has the same format as the -n option
except that it substitutes the port number with same length of character M
to indicate the position of the combined network address will be copied from
the WSH network address. For example when address template is
0x0002MMMMdddddddd and WSH network address is 0x00021111ffffffff then the
well known network address will be 0x00021111dddd dddd. When address
template starts with "//" network address type assumes to be IP based and
the TCP/IP port number of WSH network address will be copied into the
address template to form the combined network address. This feature is
useful when Workstation client needs to connect to a WSH through a router
which performs Network Address Translation.

Hello there, i have an i Phone 3GS which was locked on the network Orange from U.K i finished the contract last year, but some how i cant unlock it to be able to use on a different network. tried to restore it on itunes but it says unable to process at this time.

under UK legislation, if your are out of contract (and not owing the carrier any debts!) they are LEGALLY obliged to unlock you, and within a certain number of (few) days.. search OFCOM for the regulations.
That said, they are also entittled to charge you for this (usually about £20!)
I believe, that this can also be done via an APPLE STORE, but the first option is always the Origional Network carrier.
Orange has a terrible repuation now for customer service (which is just one reason they changed their name to EE!, and yes, this is fact which is why they came Bottom in several recent customer satisfaction surveys.. so they are not going to rush to help you leave them are they..)

  • [POL-3309] trying to use datapage from different file.

Getting this error trying to access both the ESB and BPEL datasources in SOA Suite 10.1.3 GA.
    Any ideas how to fix?

I am also getting same error message when I am trying to establish a olite connection. Moreover I got this error when I opened BPEL console :
    Cannot fetch a datasource connection.
The process domain was unable to establish a connection with the datasource with the connection URL "jdbc/BPELServerDataSourceWorkflow". The exception reported is: [POL-3309] trying to use datapage from different file
Please check that the machine hosting the datasource is physically connected to the network. Otherwise, check that the datasource connection parameters (user/password) is currently valid.
    Please provide solution.....

  • Problem using existsnode from view

I am having a problem using existsnode from a view. I am currently using 10.2.0.3
    example
    CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW XML_PERSON_ASSOCIATION

    AS
    select
    xmlelement("Person",

            ) "Associations"
    ) person
    from person p
/When I run the following statment
    select person
    from xml_person_association o
    where existsnode(person,'/Person/Associations/Association[OrganizationID=30097]')=1;
I get no records returned. Now if I used the extract function and use the same path that's in the existsnode clause I get a record returned.
    select extract(person,'/Person/Associations/Association')
    from xml_person_association o
    where existsnode(person,'/Person/Associations/Association[OrganizationID=30097]')=1;
    <Association>
    <Name>TEST DATA</Name>
    <OrganizationID>30097</OrganizationID>
    </Association>
If I run the same style of existsnode statment against a table directly instead of a view I am not required to use an extract caluse that has the same path that is used in the existsnode clause.
    Thanks for the help.

  • How do I use music from different ID's in iMovie

I am "upconverting" my old iMovie swim shows to HD, which means remastering and re-linking some of my videos and even some of my pix.
We have been using iMovie since 2008 so I know it's changed a lot but there's one thing that's become really aggravating and I'm hoping there's an answer.
When we first started, we bought songs under two different ID's (big mistake--never do that!) and used songs from both ID's in previous iMovies without a problem. But iMovie '10 refuses to let me use songs from a different ID, even though I have authorized this computer for songs from that ID, and I have the password to the account, etc. etc.
And here's the really aggravating part: It's only a few songs and at this point, it's not worth my time to figure it out. I'll just buy the music again and give the no-good record industry a little extra cash for something I presumably own. EXCEPT iTunes thinks I already own that song (I do) so it won't let me buy it again, even if I delete it.
Now I'm really stuck. iMovie won't let me use the music from another ID, but iTunes won't let me buy it on the new ID cuz it knows I own it from the old one. Arrrgggggh!

First of all if you havent done it yet i think u shold authorize the mac on both accounts on itunes. You also can switch the accounts on your Iphones at itunes while you are in the internet adn download the music.
This is just an idea you should think of. For sure there are other ways I dont know.

  • Unable to log in from different network same domain.

Hi, I am having difficulties with sharepoint at a different location.
Our main site and network that our sharepoint server is on, is 10.1.0.1
Our second site is part of our domain, and has its own DC with the ip 10.2.1.1
Our main site and second site are connected through VPN.
Our users at our second site can't log into sharepoint. They will browse to
http://intranet and the windows security window asks for credentials. Users will enter their credentials but it will not accept them and keeps asking for them. They do not receive any error messages, just a blank screen.
I have also tried adjusting the "trusted sites" options with NO SUCCESS. As well as clearing the "Enable Integrated Windows Authentication" option under advance in internet options.

So we have two domains, DomainA and DomainB.
You have tested your DomainA user account, which works fine from Site A, on Site B and it fails. All users from Site B also fail to authenticate.
Can you test a user from DomainB on a machine in Site A?
Are you able to add users from Domain B to your SharePoint sites through the people picker? That will confirm that you have AD connectivity between your SharePoint farm and the Domain B ADDS servers.
Next time you test the login process from Domain B use a hosts file to bypass any load balancers and target a single server, then make a note of the time. That will help you to try to identify the login requests in both the windows event logs and the
    SharePoint ULS logs.
From first impressions this sounds like an inability to authenticate from their network rather than a domain trust issue, although that may still be possible.

  • Compare Merge Model problems with models from different connections

    Hi all,
I've experienced a problem while using the compare/merge model funcion under tools.
    Just to put in place:
I've 4 model, one for each enviroment that I have: DEV, INT, TEST, PROD(*each model imported from different connections*). Because I haven't found any reliable way to keep them sincronyzed, using DLL deltas. Is there a way to do that?
Anyway, regarding the main subject problem. Whem I try to sync for example, from PROD, to TEST, using compare/merge model function under tools, the process find the differences. When I selecte those that I want, and click on merge, the destination model TEST, get the selected objects merged into.
But now, the model Schema, when I select sincronyze model with data dictionary to get de DLL delta, things get crazy, and the merged objects doesn't get detected to be created.
If it's help, I think that the is with the associated import connection than the merged objects have. They have the PROD connection name, instead of the TEST connection name. Also when I try to syncronize the relational model againts de data dictionary(database), datamodeler ask me wich connection to use, PROD or TEST. When, before, merging, model, data modeler did not ask me anything.
Why is data modeler doing this?
What I have seen is when you import in a model things from different connections/models, when you try to sincronyze agains a connection, all objects that are not from the selected connection doesn't get compared.
Is there a bug or a problem?
How can I can keep a schema in different enviroments, sync? What are the step that I shoulf follow?
    Thanks in advance.
    Edited by: morfeo8marc on 14-mar-2012 11:17

I shall try to explain what is happening here.
When you import objects from TEST data dictionary, their source information (see Summary info in Properties dialog) will refer to TEST.
The relational model for TEST will contain source information (see Summary info in Properties dialog) for the connection to TEST.
Similarly, imported objects from PROD will refer to the PROD data dictionary, and the PROD relational model will hold connection details for PROD.
If you merge PROD objects into the TEST model, they will retain their source information (i.e. referring to PROD).
The TEST model will be updated to include connection details to PROD.
When you synchronize a model, if it only has one source connection, it uses that.
If it has more than one, it will prompt you to decide to which data dictionary it should synchronize.
In your case, for the TEST data dictionary, it will synchronize all objects that have source information for TEST (i.e. those imported from TEST).
It will also compare any new objects (i.e. those not imported from a data dictionary).
It will not compare objects that were imported from a different data dictionary (e.g. PROD).
This supports the scenario where a model consists of objects imported from more than one data dictionary, and where the data dictionaries are maintained separately.
We may need to review the above strategy in light of your experience and development process.
In the meantime, may I suggest that from your updated TEST model, you Import from Data Dictionary using the TEST connection.
The resulting Compare Models dialog should show all objects (i.e. those from TEST and PROD).
You may need to set the Swap Models option to generate DDL with which to update your TEST data dictionary.
Thank you for raising this matter.

  • How to use attributes from different context nodes in one view?

I am VERY new to the concept of CRM and currently working on creating an alternate version of the BP_HEAD_SEARCH. With help from SAPPRESSs book 'SAP CRM Web Client' i was ble to create my own simple Z-component.
However after going back and forth the book and the forum (including this [article|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/CRM/Howtoaddanexistingfieldtoasearchpageofadifferent+component]) i was not able to find a solution to my problem. My current search uses BuilHeaderAdvancedSearch as context node for searching. But the search should also be able to use attributes from BuilActivity, which is directly related to BuilHeader. I can't seem to find a way to get attributes from BuilActivity into the search window of my component without having to change SAP-Standard.
Is this really the only way? Please advise on possible code and insertion point.

    Any suggestions?

  • Report using Data from different tables

    Hello,
I am trying to convert a Cobol batch program to Oracle 6i tabular report.
The data is fetched from many different tables and there are lots of processing(i.e, based on the value of a column from one table need additional processing from different tables) required to generate the desired columns in the final report.
I would like to know what is the best strategy to follow in Oracle Reports 6i. I heard that CREATE GLOBAL TEMPORARY TABLE is an option. ( or REF CURSOR ?) I do not know much about its usage. Can somebody guide me about this or any other better way to achieve the result.
    Thank you in advance
    Priya

    Hello,
There are many, many options available to you, each of which has advantages and disadvantages. This is why it is difficult to answer "what is best?" without alot more details about your specific circumstances.
In general, you're going to be writing PL/SQL to do any conditional logic that cannot be expressed as pure SQL. It can executed in the database, or it can executed within Reports itself. And most reports developers do some of both.
As a general rule, you want to send only the data you need from the database to the report. This means you want to do as much filtering and aggregating of the data as is readily possible within the database. If this cannot be expressed as plain SQL queries, then you'll want to create a stored procedures to help do this work.
Generally, the PL/SQL you create for executing within the report should be focused on control of the formatting, such as controlling whether a field is visible, or controlling display attributes for conditional formatting.
But these are not hard and fast rules. In some cases, it is difficult to get all the stored procedures you might like installed into the database. Perhaps the dba is reluctant to let you install that many stored procedures. Perhaps there are restrictions when and how often updates can be made to stored procedures in a production database, which makes it difficult to incrementally adjust your reports based on user feedback. Or perhaps there are restrictions for how long queries are allowed to run.
So, Reports offers lots of options and features to let you do data manipulation operations from within the report data model.
In any case, Oracle does offer temporary table capabilities. You can populate a temp table by running stored procedures that do queries, calculations and aggregations. And you can define and initiate a dynamic query statement within the database and pass a handle to this query off to the report to execute (ref cursor).
From the reports side, you can have as many queries as you want in the data model, arranged in any hierarchy via links. You can parameterize and change the queries dynamically using bind variables and lexicals. And you can add calculations, aggregations, and filters.
Again, most people do data manipulation both in the database and in Reports, using the database for what it excels at, and Reports for what it excels at.
    Hope this helps.

  • How do you set up osx as proxyserver to use aim from outside network?

I am trying to use AIM, from work, and of course work has all sorts of ports blocked, etc... so my understanding is that I need to set up my mac as a proxyserver and use aim through it. I have searched on the web and in discussions to no avail, anyone know how to do this?
    thanks!

"so my understanding is that I need to set up my mac as a proxyserver and use aim through it."
Not true at all, and it still won't work, as your Mac, acting as a proxy server would still have to send data through your company's network, which would still be blocked.
Your company has those ports blocked for a reason, so unless you're the network admin, there's no way for you to get around it. The firewalls are doing their job.

  • Problem using iTunes from Public Terminal

My problem is downloading from certain Public Terminals that will not allow iTunes to be installed and the IT at the local library refuse to allow it to be installed.
At home, I am on low-speed dial-up (56k) that prevent me from downloading TV Shows due to numerous time-outs and length of time for downloading.
Is there anyway I can access the iTunes store and download without having iTunes installed on the Public Terminal?
Currently, every few weeks, I go to the nearest University and use their Public Terminals to download material, but would prefer to use the local public library as it is much closer, and I could download more stuff.
Thank You for your assistance in this matter.

I have no experience with anything this author advises. It sounds interesting, though and may provide you with direction.

  • Problem using read from spreadsheet file and polar plotting

    Hi to all labview users,
i am a beginner in labview and i am trying to do a polar plot.
i read the polar plotting example in labview and it was straightforward.
I used "write to spreadsheet file" to gather data.
and they are in the following format
    13  10
    4  20
    8 30
    ....etc
now. i tried using "read from spreadfile" to get the data into a array, then using "array to cluster" to convert the array into cluster, so i could connect it to the polar plot block
however, it kept saying i couldnt connect that way, because polar plot uses 1-d array with cluster of 2 element and my source is a cluster of 9 elements....
but doesnt the "read from spreadfile" block give me a 1-d array? and where does that 9 come from? i only have 3 rows and 2 columns in my data file....
any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
    thx alot

I've made an example to try to help you  with that question.
    Notes:
     - the file must have values separeted by tab
     - reading the values from file as you mentioned using "read from spreadfile" you'll get a 2D array and not 1D;

  • Problems using airplay from my RMBP getting the music from a network drive.

Hello, I really need some help here. First I'll tell you how everything is set up: At home I have my RMBP, my Apple TV, and a network hard drive connected to a wireless network (provided by an Airport Express). As I have a lot of songs and my RMBP is only 256GB, I keep my iTunes library in the network drive. The Apple TV is connected directly to a Receiver using an optical cable.
the problem: when I play music from the drive and I activate airplay on iTunes, it works fine until it stops streaming to the apple TV. On iTunes everything seems to be okay but it doesn't sound. Although there is no music coming out of any speaker, itunes is playing. I haven't been able to find a solution to this situation because I don't have this problem when I stream music from another library I created in my RMBP's hard drive. this happens even when I'm using the computer, so it does not have to do with the computer not being active...
    any ideas?
    thanks!
    Frank

There could be other reasons but I'd look at your network first. Having content on a network drive will cause more traffic on your network than if itwere on an internal or external drive. This shouldn't normally be a problem but can be on boderline networks.
