Problem when updating delivery quantity using 'BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE'

Hi experts,
I have a requirement in which i need to update the material's delivery quantity in VL03N transaction.   For this im trying the BAPI
'BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE' and im passing the following values.
HEADER_DATA : Delivery no.
DELIVER : Delivery no.
ITEM_DATA : Delivery no,
item no,
DLV_QTY quantity(changed),
FACT_UNIT_NOM ( default to value '1')
FACT_UNIT_DENOM ( default to value '1')
ITEM_CONTROL : Delivey no,
item no,
CHG_DELQTY ( value "X")
Then i use 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT' for updating the changes.
Here the problem is, the BAPI is working fine for some quantity , say if i enter the DLV_QTY as 2 in ITEM_DATA, it is gettting updated. But if i pass some other quantity , say 12, it is returning the folowing error.

Pls tell why this error comes. and how to successfully update the delivery quantity for a set of material?

Problem while updating Delivery date uisng BAPI_PO_CHANGE

Hi friends,
Iam facing a problem while updating delivery date of a purchase order using the bapi BAPI_PO_CHANGE
After the bapi is getting triggered iam geting sy-subrc = 0
But in the return parameters iam getting 3 error messages so iam unable to update the delivery date..
Error meesage which iam getting are
a) Purchase order still contains faulty items
b) Enter Tax Code
c) Instance 1000001 of object type PurchaseOrder could not be changed.
How can i correct it..

I am in the process of installing 9i on SUSE Linux 7.2. The only Linux that is certified to run 9i. The machine is is a fresh install of SUSE. I am running into the same problem. I ran through the first make problem by going to a shell and invoking a make -f oemagent.mk. Built the library just fine. Got errors when trying to run make -f ins_rdbms.mk. Not sure why the installer or the command line is having problems.
Not sure if I can just hit Ignore and go on????
Any help would be appreciated. You would think 9i would spread like butter on their "Certified" platform.

a .asp template, it replaces my 1 line of code
with <%@ Page Language="VB" ContentType="text/html"
ResponseEncoding="iso-8859-1" %> and errases the resto of the
attributes i have on each page, making it unfunctionable.

The changes are getting lost when i logout and login back to SAP.
In Current session i am able to see the changes. But changes are lost as soon as i end up my session,
but this is happening only in case of template box width. All other changes are retained between my various SAP sessions.
So wanted to know if any other value is over-writing the template box width values.

Do you mean that pink folder w/ the controller icon on it? I lost that too on my N8. Actually, lost all of the folders that came with Anna like Applications & Music. Wish I could get them back as now I can only make the generic yellow folder which isn't as aesthetically appeasing.
However, reading articles on Belle there was a picture of a Belle N8 with the games folder shortcut on the homescreen - so maybe it still exists & I just cannot find it.

Updating delivery quantity irrespectuve of errors using Std FM's

Hi all,
Im need to update the quantity for an inbound delivery.I tried using FM "BBP_INB_DELIVERY_UPDATE".But it gives different results for dfferent Inbound delivries.For some the update happens while for some it doesnt.
The main problem is it doesnt return any exception parameter/error table to know that the update hasnt happened
this FM in turn actually calls the FM 's WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE' and WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE'_2 .These functina have return parameters for errors and hence can be useful in checking the confirmation of update.
However when using these FM 's(WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE' and WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE'_2).,sometimes if there are any errors found,the program stops there and nothig happens further.How do I avoid these errors when using these FM's.I basically need to update the quantty in the dleivery forcefully irresepective of the errors!
Please suggest?
Also if i need to copy the std FM's (mentioned above) which one should i copy??Has anybody worked on a similar reqt earlier?

Pbm in updating delivery quantity and picked quantity in VL03N transaction

HI all,
I m using the BAPI 'WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE_2' for changing the picked quantity in VL03N transaction.
But this BAPI is not changing the picked quantity. Instead it add the old quantity with the new quantity what i mentioned in the ITEM_DATA (VBPOK_TAB table) of this BAPI..
For example, if the delivery quantity is 3 and picked quantity is 3 for a material item,
I want to change both the quantity as 2. Is is possible to change both the quantities through BAPI?
Im using BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE to update the delivery quantity as loong as the picked quantity is 0.
If both picked and delivery are same (for example, both are 2), then i need to change both the quantities (say 1).
So how can i update both the quantities?
If so, pls share the BAPI details for achieving this..

Problem in updating Pick Qty using SD_DELIVERY_UPDATE_PICKING_1

Hi,
    I am updating the picking quantity in a delivery document using function module SD_DELIVERY_UPDATE_PICKING_1.
     However the document flow shows the picking request is still Open and not Completed. This does not happen when I do this online. Am I missing something in the parameters.
      Please advise as the documentation of this function module is not very clear.

     I might go in for BDC as a last resort on VL02N since time is quite a constraint.
     I really appreciate the inputs you have given.
     Actually my customer system is running on mySAP ERP ECC 5.0 so it would certainly have all the note corrections mentioned in the several notes

Actually iam facing a strange problem here.
When i copy the program into another sample program and execute it iam able to change both the item catgegory and delivery block for particular sales order and item number.
But in my main program i have BDC for MB1B transaction to create the material document.
Once the material document is created succesfully iam using BAPI Sales_order_change to change the item category and delivery block..
In my main program iam not to change the item catgeory getting an error field PSTYV cannot be changed.
But the same code is running percfectly in the copied one..
How can i correct that..

Update Picking Quantity using 'WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE_2' - URGENT

I am struck with an error in updating the delivery. I am using an rfc WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE_2 which is updating the picking quantity one for the first time in a delivery with two delivery quantity in a batch but when iam using it for the other one it is not updating the quantity. I think the parameters which iam passing to RFC might be wrong. I am using the rfc as follows:

Hi, I search answers for my problem and I not found a solution. My problem start when I open page with database link statement in APEX. I drop tables and execute this for update the tables in APEX.

I use Mozilla Firefox and isn't always updated the tables because it shows dialog for downloading file "f". I rename the file to txt and I see the text "IBMPC/WIN_NT-8.1.0"...
In the explorer always show a window only the text "IBMPC/WIN_NT-8.1.0"...
What is the solution for my problem? I need update this tables.

It's easy. It doesn't work a database link, on apex, with a pl/sql code or store procedure.
I saw that many people had the same problem but I don't see a solution.
As I put up, I want to remove my tables on APEX and copy the table of my Oracle database with the update dates.

I sometimes get an error. Sometimes it works fine, but half of the tries Apex returns "IBMPC/WIN_NT-8.1.0" in the browser and I am not using an IBM PC or Win NT...
And i read that In the alert_xe.log file there are a error of core dump... ... :S or that the application return corrupt headers.... Is a problem of versions?
