If you have installed it into the right JDK-directory, there should be a file jai_core.jar in your <JAVA_HOME>/jre/lib/ext directory and the jar is automatically recognized by java. To exclude the case, where the wrong JDK is used, you can include this file and all other files in the directory, which contain "jai" in there file-name, in your classpath.

Problem with JAI medialib accelorator

I use JAI to display images. Recently after loading an IBM Websphere product my Java 1.4.0 programs(which have nothing to do with Websphere) started displaying this message in the command window:
Could not load mediaLib accelerator wrapper classes. Continuing in pure Java mode.The program continues to work after displaying this message.
I presume that the IBM stuff stepped on something but I can't figure out what it was.
Does anyone have any ideas?

I would bet your ibm product has replaced your jre or
is at least making java process with its jre until it
cannot figure out what to do, then it allows the
regular jre to do the work.I thought of that. To get around that I
- set the PATH to include the Sun Java, leave out the IBM stuff
- delete the CLASSPATH environment variable
- use -classpath option of java.exe for each execution
Can you think of something I missed?

Office Home and Student 2010 Install problems with a Key Code Err..

I had to install a new hard drive, lost everything..So I upgraded to Windows 7 Professional ..
I own a the 2010 Home and Student CD bought at the Microsoft store...Doesn't come with Outlook...
So I ordered the Home and Business 2010 disc with Service Pack 1 Included, this has 2010 outlook ...It loaded and worked fine up to the point I had to replace my Drive with New Windows 7 Pro...
Everything loaded find, but every time I try and use it, its acts like it is caught in some kind of loop...It keep trying install and configure, then ask for my Key Code every time, sort of like a OLMAP132.Dll err...I did manage to make it work once, I even
got back the test email from Microsoft after setting up Outlook....Then when I rebooted the system, this same loop action started ...
I have uninstalled this at least 4 times, searched for anything with ties to Microsoft office, and uninstalled it..Then did a New Clean Install...Still getting this key Code question every time I open up a Office program....So, I am saying without a doubt,

I have a problem with the instruction WDPortalNavigation.navigateAbsolute
My projjects are follow:
I have a component A and a component B in a component Master 1, and the same component A and a component C in another component Master 2.
In the component Master 1 I have a context that is binding by component A. In the component Master 2 i have te component A too, The componente A binding the contex tooo. the problem is that i want to navigate from Component B that is in the Component Master 1 to Component C that is in the Component master 2.
I am trying navigate with WDPortalNavigation.navigateAbsolute sentence, it is works, because i can see the component C's iview but when i want to use data of component's context, i can't because i get an error that says, the context doesn't initialize.
i am use componentization concept in the master 1 andy master 2.
in the master 1 i have as "used web dynpro components" the component A and component B
in the master 2 i have as "used web dynpro components" the component A and component C
in a few works a want to navigate from component B to component C using WDPortalNavigation.navigateAbsolute sentence

Packing instructions - problem with external number range

Hi Gurus:
I have a problem with configuring packing instructions. I have created a number range entry with external numbering (tx. OPIN), but when I want to create a new packing instruction in POP1, I get an error message: Manually-entered packing instruction ID cannot be checked (Message no. VHU01116). Can you please tell me how to avoid this error message?
The system works fine if the number range is set to internal. As a matter of fact, initially I did create a setting with internal numbering and conducted a couple of tests, but I had to change the "external" flag in the number range to meet business requirements. Is it possible that somehow the system does not recognize that I have changed the flag and I need to run some generation program or something similar?

For further records:
we have found the problem after debugging the function. In order for the system to accept the external number range, a second number range object with ID 02 must be maintained in OPIN. Then you can use this number range as external and keep the first as internal.

When I click on Integration repository or Directory for the first time, it loads the jar files and while loading, I get an error msg "Unable to launch Integration Builder". After a lot of retries I get sucess. But still we are facing this issue in some machines. Can you pls let me know if there is any pre configuration or some thing I am missing...

Did you check the proxy settings in JAVA Web start. Please follow the below instructions.
This could be set to None or to specific for values HTTP Proxy and HTTP Port .
Contact your network administrator for the correct settings.
To change the Proxy Settings:
Select Windows Start menu -> All Programs -> Java Web Start -> Java Web Start
Choose File -> Preferences -> General
Choose None to switch off the proxy settings or Manual to set the HTTP Proxy and HTTP Port.

Problem with HP Printer - has stopped printing for no apparent reason!

Hi all,
I have a Powerbook G4 and an HP Deskjet 3820 printer that have got along just fine ever since I first got the laptop - in fact, until just a few days ago it was printing normally with no trouble at all. Now, however, it stubbornly refuses to print anything (from Word, Preview, Firefox - so I'm guessing it's an OS problem...)
The fault is as follows: I turn on the printer and it feeds a single page through without printing anything on it, despite having no instructions to do so. Whilst doing so all of the printer's lights flash in sequence. When it's idle the green status light next to the power button is on, with no other lights on. When I ask it to print something the print dialog comes up and the job is transferred into the print queue. The job loads but instead of printing, it moves straight from the print queue into the 'completed jobs' screen. Whilst it's doing this the power light on the printer flashes.
If I try to do a test print I get the message "unable to print: error 1000".
I've checked the leads and changed the printer's ink cartridges. I reset the printer in the printer utility box, then deleted and reinstalled the printer in the printer utility box. I've repaired the disk permissions (having deleted the printer, and then restarted before I tried to reinstall the printer), and finally I've installed the HPJIS drivers and the associated bits that come with them. I've even tried to use a different USB port, all with no effect.
The only thing that I've installed on this computer recently that I thought might be having an effect is the Citrix ICA remote desktop client - but I've deleted that and repaired permissions afterward, so I don't see how it could still be having an effect.
I'm basically now totally stumped. Any suggestions? I'm pretty keen to get this sorted out ASAP as I'm a student and need the printer to print off work and exams. Plus it's driving me up the wall. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No, I don't think it's an OS problem. Printing on the Mac is nightmarishly complicated (under the hood), and HP installs its own system that bypasses the default FreeBSD system. This is an occasional problem with my HP 5550. HP claims to have good user support.
I've had, regularly, the exact symptoms. I've a migraine now, so I can't remember what I do about it. But it would be typical of me to press the printer button off, then clear the queue, then turn on the printer and have it remove the paper still in it. If needed, I might restart the computer.
As for the cause, for the last 10 minutes I've been asking my 4-year old granddaughter, but she's not in the mood to tell me. However, she often prints pictures of Elmo off the internet to color, and she captures parts of screens and prints them. This is with the USB cable disconnected; and its when I reconnect it, the exact symptoms you describe occur.
Try the above, and I may be able to give you a definitive answer later, after my granddaughter's nap.

Sorry for the late reply. My email firewall has become a little over zealous & sent a lot of my emails straight to my junk email folder, so I have only just now discovered your reply in my junk mail folder.
The only "don't open files exceeding xxx megabytes" instruction I can find in my Prefs, is in the Bridge Prefs for Thumbnails, & mine is set at 1000mb. The biggest files I handle are bigger than 200mb so I should be able to open a few, not just one.
However, this doesn't explain why I can open a psd format file of 180mb, close it, but then can't open a RAW format file of only 26mb immediately after.
I can open the RAW file only if I restart my computer - very annoying!
However, thanks for the advice about the video card & memory.
So, I'm still stuck as to what the issue is.

Problems with USB connection and PC Suite

Connecting your device to the PC via USB doesn´t always work as smooth as it should. You can either use the setup´s repair function or if you are experiencing more serious problems, you need to uninstall all Nokia software form your phone and get it back on to make to work again.
This is how you do it:
Run the Nokia PC Suite setup file again and choose "repair" instead of "uninstall". This should solve some of the connectivity problems. If it didn´t work for you continue with the instructions below.
Go to Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> Software, there you need to uninstall all Nokia software (Nokia PC Suite, Nokia Cable driver, PC Connectivity Solution ...)
Download and run Nokia PC Suite Cleaner
Reboot your computer
Download and install PC Suite here.
Connect your phone via USB cable (if possible use a different USB jack) and follow the instructions on the screen.
Now you´re set up to manage your phone with PC Suite!

Problem with Audio on HP Envy 6-1130sw (C6F62EA)

Hello everyone.
I have a problem with audio on my ultrabook HP Envy 6. Sometimes when I try to play music there are no low tones and music plays really silent... And then when I restart PC problem dissapears and music plays fine... I thought there is a problem with speakers, but when I connected 5.1 speakers there were also only high tones. Same thing happens on headphones. Is it a hardware problem or maybe software? Actually I use Windows 8.1 and drivers are up to date. If any one of you had same problem please post.

From what you have described, I think the best approach would be to restore the original IDT driver, restart the computer, test that driver, then install the driver update, and test the outcome of installing the newest driver.
Use the following link for instructions to recovery the ITD driver using Recovery Manager. Restoring applications and drivers.
Once the driver is restored, restart the computer and test the audio. If the audio is good you can continue to use this driver, or you can reinstall the update and see what happens. IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver.
If installing the newest driver causes the issue to occur but the recovered driver worked, I suggest recovering again.
If neither driver works I will gladly follow up and provide any assistance I can.

Problems With System Configuration

System Configuration is altered and not repairable. Selective startup is persistent. Normal startup is selected, but the Apply button is greyed out, inaccessible, and system always remains in Selective startup. As a result, Current User profile is probably
corrupted. Windows Store will not install (services are corrupt, SFC and DISM did not work). Outlook profile was deleted, needed to be reinstalled, and can not receive mail. Excel math engine totals values higher than actual amounts. IE automatically signs
into all Microsoft accounts (reset to default settings worked for a log on, but automatic sign in resumed afterwards).
Are there any solutions?

The Compatibility Diagnostic identified conflicting versions of Microsoft Office Outlook. To remove the version of Outlook from your computer that you do not want, do the following:
Microsoft Windows Vista
1.Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.
2.Click Uninstall a program.
Note In Classic view, double-click Programs and Features.
3.Select the version of Outlook that you do not want, and then click Uninstall.
Microsoft Windows XP
1.Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2.Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
3.Select the version of Outlook that you do not want, and then click Remove.

SFC and DISM listed errors when performed in diagnostic start up. Commands changed from previous attempts. Before SFC and DISM only had to be entered as SFC and DISM. Presently, additional commands are required.
