Problem with new JInternalFrames not maximized

Question

Hi,
perhaps anyone knows a solution to my problem:
After maximizing a JInternalFrame (e.g. through the little button in the
right corner) all new frames will be opened maximized.
What can i do that new frames will be opened with their preferred size?
To be more specific:
If User A logs on my software, maximizes a JInternalFrame and logs off
the Desktop still remembers that new frames should be opened maximized.
A new User B will get his new frames maximized but expects them in their
preferred size.
I tried JInternalFrame.setMaximum(false) right after and before the
JDesktopPane.add(...). But it doesn't work. The frame is maximized.

hi there, it works fine with me, this is how i do it
     protected void createBookMaster() {
          book_master master = new book_master();
          try {
             master.setMaximum(false);
        } catch (java.beans.PropertyVetoException e) {}
        master.setVisible(true);
        desktop.add(master);
        master.addInternalFrameListener( this );

            master.setSelected(true);
