Problem with removing items from a linked list

Hello,
I have something weird going with my code. Below is the snippet
if (ParserDataList.isEmpty())
try {
Thread.sleep(10)
catch (InterruptedException e) {
else
data = ParserDataList.remove();
ParserDataList is declared as a LinkedList. Occasionally I receive the error on NoSuchElement on the remove. I put a try/catch around the remove and print out the value of ParserDataList.isEmpty which is always false. I am very confused on why if the linked list isn't empty I can't remove a data item. There are no other threads that remove data. Thank you in advance for any assistance on this problem.

I am changing it from linked list to blocking queue however I do have a question about what I should use to poll the data? Instead of a remove should I use take which seemed to remove the first element and if there wasn't one wait until there was. I was trying to not have the threads blocked because I do need to stop them when a disconnect is sent from the main thread.

Problem with remove task from schedule in PWA

In our environment problem with remove task from schedule by PWA.
Problem is only when I want to remove few task in the same time, but the operation one by one is correct.
In my opinion problem is with calculation schedule after remove tasks, column ID include wrong value it means that Number ID does not generate in the correct order same of numer
disappear. Click Calculate button on ribbon causes problem with finshed operation and save project.
Problem occurs only machine with IE 11.0 browser without compability mode, on other machine for example on the same project with IE 8,9,10 everything is correct.
Problem appeared recently, earlier everything was OK.

I'm a bit confused. You are now talking about 2 issues.
For the first one, you cannot edit anymore tasks in PWA, with any browser versions? Is it happenonog for any users on any projects? Try the following solutions publish the project from Project Pro and see if it helps. Press CTRL F5 to delete IE cache. Ensure
that your PWA URL is added to the trusted site and/or compatibility sites. Check for the ULS logs or javascript errors.
For the second issue, please refer to my previous reply, this obviously cannot be considered as a bug since it is happening with a non supported browser version and working properly on supported versions of IE.

How can we remove items from the VF04 list?

We have a long list of items in VF04 that, for various reasons (some process related, some due to errors), are not to be billed. We have looked at applying filters to the list but there is nothing really suitable to hide these individual documents e.g. we could filter out some dates where none of the items on that date are to be billed but other dates have a mix of items we want to bill and others we don't.
I have done a search of this forum but didn't find a previous topic with a quick and simple method to remove items from the list .
Is there a method, other than billing them or sorting each issue individually, to permanently remove individual documents from the VF04 list?

Download a list of Pending delivers doc form VF04.
Paste the list in T.Code : VL09 (Delivery reversal) and reverse the delivery.
Then go to T.Code: VL06G Select the list of deliveries that has been reversed, select/delete all un- wanted deliveries.
This way you can remove all unwanted pending deliveries forn Billing due list (VF04).

Strange problem with removing element from node

Hi,
I have a problem when I removed elements from a node.
here is the code:

The node A does have a row with field "ID" equals to 123456.
When running the application, it does write that "123456" was not removed...but it removes it....In fact my table is now empty.
How is it possible if it didn't perform the remove operation for ID = 123456 ?

Because you are iterating node in wrong direction: see my reply to your post Re: Loop problem (seems that you assigns me 2 points without reading reply, and mark it as solved just because you stop solving it
So, in example in this thread, you must iterate node B in reverse direction, get element from B and remove it from B if it has some specific ID.

Remove Item From Calendar When List Item is Set To Cancelled

I have created a custom workflow where users submit a request form to a mailing list. The approvers can choose to approve, deny or cancel the request. If the request is approved, it is added to the calendar on the site. The problem that I am having is that
sometimes a user wishes to cancel their request after the request has already been approved and placed on the calendar. How can I remove the calendar entry but still keep the request on file?

Thank you for your response. While this seems close, I do not think that this is what I'm really looking for.
Here is the process that I would like to be able to have happen:
1. A request form is completed and sent to a SharePoint list
2. Reviewer approves of the completed form
a. Upon approval, a calendar entry is created automatically.
3. The request is deemed to be no longer needed and therefore needs to be removed from the calendar.
a. Reviewer changes the status of the Request Form to "Cancelled"
b. Calendar entry is removed automatically from the calendar ---- BUT, the request form is NOT deleted.

}On a test page, I have a master-detail tables that show all departments and employees in the selected department (drag&drop from data control), a button that removes selected employee from employeeList iterator, and a button that calls em.merge(department).
The problem is that when I remove some employees from employeeList, on merge, the incoming entity, as well as the return result of the 'merge', are OK (the list doesn't contain the removed entities), but nothing is updated in the database, and no error is shown.
Can anyone help me with this? I can send the test case if anyone is interested.

How do I remove items from the "favorites" list on the sidebar?

When I open up a new folder there is a favorite list on the side. Somehow, random documents and folders appear there. When I went to the settings I couldn't find how to remove them and when I went to the preferences for finders I saw how to add different icons, but not how to remove these docs/folders from showing up there. Any suggestions?

I figured it out. I read a few of the things on this site and they weren't totally helpful, but messed around and from their suggestions I figured it out!
Hold Control
Click on the item you wish to remove
A list will appear with one of the options being "Remove from Sidebar"
Click Remove from Sidebar

Problems with static IP from TP-Link Access Point

Hello Guys!
I'm new with Apple - i got a Macbook Pro Mid 2012 since 2 weeks.
Everythings running fine and im really happy with the Macbook - except of the Wifi.
I have the problem that the internet connection is just working temporarily, sometimes its just working for 1 minute, then its just stopping. im still connected to the wifi, no connection abortion. websites are just not getting loaded or just half.
i cant find a solution for it, so please help me
I connected a TP-Link tl-wa801nd with a ethernet cable to our companys network - creating a wifi network access point with which i can connect to with my devices (Macbook Pro, iphone and Win7 PC)
I have to give my devices a static ip, when i want to connect with it:
IP: 192.168.0.151 - 192.168.0.199
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Router and DNS: 192.168.0.1
These preferences are working perfect with the iphone, Win 7-PCs and some friends Android or BB phones. No problems.
Except of the Macbook pro:
I got the newest Mavericks on it and the same network preferences (except of a ascending ip address and the search domain 192.168.0.1)
But like i said above - network is just working temporarily, sometimes for 1 minute, then stopping for 10 minutes... The problem must be the macbook, because every other devices is working fine.

Problem: The 'remove item from dock' sound keeps playing.

Hello guys,
I have a new MacBookPro. I haven't done so much with it. I have the last OS X Version 10.8.2. Since last week I don´t know how I keep listening the sound that dock does when an item is being removed. It sounds like Swoosh or Swoop. The sounds repeats like 7 times per hour. Sometimes I am watching a movie, or working with WORD, or sometimes I am not even touching anything and it always sounds. It is so anoying. I need help. Thanks for the time and any sugestion.

I found that in my case it was Messages. It was the sound of my contacts signing in and out. once i checked the alerts prefrences in Messages, the sounds stopped.
