Problem with search plug-in in ver 5.9

I have a problem with search plug-in when you type some key words and press search button it works fine, but if you press enter jou have following error:

Grzegorz, I'm going to guess this is a problem with the version you're using. We're using 2007.0.620 and whenever we hit enter on the field instead of the search button itself it returns no results. As far as I can tell, it's a bug in the system.
It looks like updating to the latest version (624) isn't helpful either, although both 620 and 624 remove that nasty explosion that you're getting and instead just return the same page with no search results.
There may be a way to edit some code-behind to detect when a postback is being made, although given the locked nature of Web Tools I doubt it. If you can find a way to have the button be recognized, let me know - otherwise, I'd say it's a bug that needs to be addressed in the next version.

Problems with Search in Contacts (Public folder favourite)

Office Version:Office 2010Operating System:Windows 7
I am running Outlook 2010, connecting to an SBS2003 server by HTTP and running in Cached mode.
My business contacts are stored in a Public Folder, and my personal contacts in my local Contacts folder.
The Public Folder is in my Favourites, and is designated an 'Outlook Address Book'
'Download Public Folder Favourites' is enabled in the Exchange Mail Account settings
I am having problems with Search (which was never a problem in Outlook 2007).
If I select the Contacts shortcut, under 'My Contacts I have listed in order:
Suggested Contacts
Office Contacts (this is my public folder favourite)
Contacts
Search Results
If I select the Office Contacts link, and attempt to search for a contact whose contact card I can actually see on the screen, the search will fail. The scope is defaulting to 'All Contact Items' (which is fine), but if I change this to 'Current Folder'
then the contact is immediately found.
In OL2007 I could search for a contact, even when not in a contact folder, and it would find every instance of it immediately.
Any ideas here? I have been told to rebuild my index, which I will do over the weekend as it will take some time. But I have doubts it will make much difference. This is a new machine with a fresh installation of Win7 x64 and Office 2010.

Keith, I have this same issue here. I looked on the Small Business Server pages for an answer as suggested by Xiu but could not find any. I'm not sure why this would be a SBS issue as we are not running SBS and have this issue.
For some reason, "All Contact Items" doesn't include the current folder if it is a public folder.

I keep getting a message about a problem with the plug in container for firefox. what does it mean?

I am getting a pop up box saying that there is a problem with the plug in container for firefox. It keeps saying do I want windows to find a fix for it and close it or do I just want to close the program. What is this plug in container for firefox and why am I constantly getting this message? It has been happening for the past month or two.

It means either you have a faulty/out of date plugin, or your firewall/antivirus is causing problems with Firefox.
Make sure you update all your plugins and disable unwanted ones.

Also, make sure your firewall/antivirus is not blocking plugincontainer.exe from the Firefox folder in your computer. How you make sure that's not the case will depend on your firewall/antivirus.

Well, it seems waiting is not my strong suit..! I renamed a javascript file called recovery to sessionstore. This file was in the folder sessionstore-backups I had copied from mozilla 3 days ago, when my tabs were still in place. I replaced the sessionstore in mozilla's default folder with the renamed file and then started mozilla. And the tabs reappeared as they were 3 days ago!
So there goes the tab problem. But again when I started mozilla the window saying "a script has stopped responding" appeared, this time the script being: chrome//browser/contenttabbrowser.xml2542
If someone knows how to fix this and make firefox launch normally, please reply! Thank you

E-Recruiting: Problems with search profile and serach templates

Hi Recruiting-Experts,
I´m facing problems with "Search Profiles" and "Search Templates"
(Customizing SPRO --> SAP-E-Recruiting --> Recruitment --> Talent Warehouse --> Candidate --> Candidate Search )
Out customers wants me to add a new search criterion to the talent search. It's a customer-field (type 'd' --> Date) belonging to infotype 5106.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work. The hit list is always empty.
What I did:
Customizing (see above)
Updated search profile (report RCF_RECREATE_SEARCH_PROFILES)
The result:
I can see and choose the new search criterion on talent warehouse search site (recruiters startpage)
I can find the data (internal format yyyymmdd) via transaction SKPR07 (see XML below, ZZEARLIEST_ENTRY 20090901)
By the way, the hit list is also empty when adding and searching for birthdate.
Has it got to do with the date stored in internal format?

I'm having serious problems with Lightroom plug in for Facebook not working on my iMac. Help!

It started about a month ago with LR4. I kept getting problems with not being able to publish to Facebook because of problems with the plug-in which had been working perfectly up to then. I had a run round that worked by disableing and reloading the plug in. I upgraded to LR5 but the problem persisted and in fact just became worse. I can no longer publish to facebook from LR. I deleted the LR app in facebook as someone advised but now I cannot re-authorise with Facebook. When I go to the "connect" buton nothing happens. This is a serious problem that may make me reluctantly abandon Lightroom if I cannot find a solution. Can anybody help?

According to the Lightroom Facebook page, Facebook broke it and Facebook has to fix it- there is no ETA.

Problem with searching for 'empty' emails with BAPI_BUPA_SEARCH

Dear ABAP'ers.
I have got a small problem with BAPI_BUPA_SEARCH.
I Use this BAPI to search for Business Partners with the Email condition.
I put rhe Email to lv_email variable, it works ok.
    lv_email = ' '
    CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_BUPA_SEARCH'
      EXPORTING
        email = lv_email
      TABLES
        searchresult = lt_searchresult   <= returns no BuPas
        return       = ls_bapiret2 .
But I need to have a possibility to search for such Business Partners who have got no email address. Unfortunatellu when I pass an empty lv_email to BAPI, it returns no Business Partners whilst such BuPas exist in database.
Is there some possibility to search for those BuPas who have got no email address assigned?

Can you query ADR6 table where SMTP_ADDR = space.
and pick the PERSNUMBER or ADDRNUMBER and pick the Patners related to that ..

Problem with Extensis plug-in with Adobe CS6

I have a Mac running version 10.8.5 OS X and I also have Adobe CS6. I recently update Suitcase Fusion to their newest version (Suitcase Fusion 5) and since then I've been having a lot of problems with CS6. Every time I start the program it gives me the message: "The Extensis plug-in could not locate a running copy of the FMCore application. Auto - activation plug-in functionality will be disabled". I'm not sure how to fix this, so I would appreciate any help!

What does Extensis say?
From where I sit, the error message is telling you that you only updated the plug-in but not the application itself. But only Extensis can clarify that.

Problem with search forms in master-detail structure

According to JHeadstart error message i cant generate 2 search forms in one page, BUT i generated master table in one page and master form + detail table in another so WHY i cant put search forms for both tables?? They are on the different pages!
How can i solve this problem?

The reason this is not allowed, is because when you use Layout Style table-form, the same UImodel is used for both the table and the form page, and each UImodel can have only one advancedSearch binding (which is also used for quick search). Each advancedSearch binding can be linked to only one iterator, and that is either the iterator of the master table or the iterator of the detail table.
An enhancement request to remove this limitation is high on our wish-list, but didn't make it in the 10.1.2.1 release.
You could try to make post-gen modifications to add an extra search. I have not tried it, but here is what I would do:
- generate with search for master, and backup the generated pages and ui model
- generate with search for detail, and backup the generated pages and ui model
- merge the pages and ui models, renaming one of the advancedSearch bindings
- for the page where the renamed binding should be use, make a subclass of JhsDataAction and override onQuickSearch and/or onAdvancedSearch, to use the other binding name

Problem with search method in AM called from JSP

Hi, im trying to get the real value from an foreign key of a view, and i have been created a custom search method in the AM, but i got a problem, the search only get results the first time that is called, the next times gets null result :

There is no <%@ method %> tag for a JSP.

It looks like you are trying to write a JSP that only accepts post requests - not get?
I'm not sure if you can accomplish that in a JSP directly.
You can with an HttpServlet (which is where the doGet/doPost methods are defined) but HttpJspPage doesn't extend that class necessarily.
Best you could probably do is put in a test of request.getMethod() to see if it is get/post.

RWD InfoPack: problem with search

I have a problem with Web Architect search: when I create a parent document, at the beginning I specify the keywords for the document research; but when I create the website Iu2019m not able to find that document with the search form.. and also, the content HTML document of that document does not have meta tag for the keywords.
How can I solve the problem??

You need to firstly request the developer API documentation from RWD to determine their methodology for fastpath naming as well as the ability to further customize the application.
In order to allow RWD to run successfully from the portal the following prerequisites exist though:
1.) The jscript needs to be implemented within the portal to allow for the RWD help context to be available from within the portal.
2.) The fastpath/help address needs to be the same on both systems (Portal and RWD Helpsite). I have found that often the help generation and portal are managed by different teams and therefore these are often not in sync.
3.) The help enablement needs to be made within the iviews. The prerequisite is to enable the property attributes of the iview to have help, show tray, display name in tray all enabled per iview in order to be able to launch the RWD context help per iview.
Once you have achieved this it is important to align the two repositories to ensure that the help site fastpath is aligned to the portal when launched. This needs to be enforced and managed between both teams should your enterprise have a segregation of duties between these applications.

Something about API error. Also, my photo count after is different within the app then it is on Flickr website.

It really isn't clear what you are asking. If you are looking for the profiles for your cameras you would go to the calibration tab in the develop module and click to choose from different profiles. Profiles will only be available for raw files, including DNG files.

I have several problems when I do a search. I have enabled view of the Sidebar. I highlight Music from the Sidebar, then search for a band, for example. When I double-click a song it often takes several seconds to start playing a song when I double click it. The old version wasnt' like that.
Additionally, I have difficulty actually finding things with search that I know are there. For example, if I select Music from the sidebar, then Albums on the main pane and search for a specific album title, I can only get individual songs from that album to come up. I can't get the entire album to show up so I can play it. It works with most albums but not with this one.

Problems with Searching documents!

I am having a problem with the ability to search documents in the portal, everytime I run a search I get the message no results found.
I have done the following:
1. Create a File system Repository
2. Created a Crawler Profile
3. Created an Index and assigned the crawler.
4. Wait until it had finished and said their were 13 items.
However when I search their are none!
What am I doing wrong?

1. Check for trex server status in sys Admin--> Monitoring --> KM --> Trex Monitor
2. Check for the documents in the Folder on which you are creating index.
3. After you create a index, modify the parameters in sys Admin--> Monitoring --> KM --> Trex Monitor --> Edit Queue Parameters.
4. Check the Queue status in sys Admin--> Monitoring --> KM --> Trex Monitor --> Display queues. Sometimes try to flush the index.
5. If still not working, at times re-index the index or delete and recreate the index.
