Problem with Sender JDBC adapter while processing the message

Hi,
I am facing some problem while using the JDBC sender adapter.
Here is the trace where i have seen the Socket Closed problem. But it was for few seconds.
Later on it was working fine. This happens intermittently. So it was very difficult to collect the traces.
Please check the trace,

We have checked all those but still we could not find any problem. And we are not getting this error for
continously . Only intermittently. So what could be the reason behind this. It is not remaining for long time.
so please tell me the exact reason behind this problem to overcome this problem for ever.

It is working fine when i executed the same in the SQL editor but when I use with XI it is failing with error

Problem in sender JDBC adapter

I am facing one typical problem in sender JDBC adapter.
Here is the issue,
JDBC API method getString threw an exception: java.sql.SQLException: Cursor state not valid.
Can anyone please help me out in solving this problem?
Actually after a retry of 3 times the message has been successfully sent. Till then i am getting these error
On 1st attempt ,
Error during conversion of query result to XML java.sql.SQLException: Cursor state not valid
On 2nd attempt,
Error during conversion of query result to XML java.sql.SQLException: Internal driver error
(class.java.lang.InterruptedException)
On 3rd attempt,
Processing finished successfully.
This is the scenario that i can see in the audit log.
Can you please help me out in solving this issue.

Sender JDBC adapter slow processing in Production

Hi All,
We are facing an issue with processing time for Sender JDBC adapter.
We tested a scenario in Quality for JDBC to Proxy. In quality the Sender JDBC adapter is taking around 30-50 sec. to send data to PI, but in production the JDBC adapter is taking more then 7 mins to send the same amount of data from DB to PI.
We have checked the setting in PI; it is same in both the systems (Q and P).
Even the parameters for both the servers maintained same.
Can any body please suggest the reason of this behavior and any workaround?

Based on my experience, these are the things that could be used to improve JDBC performance
1. You may increase the thread count for JDBC related queues. This has to be done in accordance with SAP Note 1084161.
2. There is parameter in JDBC communication channel called Maximum Concurrency. It signifies that one communication channel can make how many connections to database. This is 1 by default and could be increased to some values like 3-4.
3. In the Visual Admin/ NWA, there is a parameter called as queueParallelism.maxReceivers which defines the number of parallel worker threads for one receiver channel instance. This should be done following SAP Note 1136790. This can be done along with the first point.

Problem with a JDBC Adapter when connect to Instance on SQL Server

Hi,
Currently I'm setting up a communication channel with the JDBC adapter to work on a SQL Server database. When I use a string without specifying the connection instance, the JDBC driver takes the default instance and connects to a database without problems.
jdbc: sqlserver: / / Server01; databaseName = IntegraSAP1
The problem is when I need to connect to another instance of it server.
jdbc: sqlserver: / / Server01; instanceName = SAP; databaseName = IntegraSAP2
The JDBC driver, in short, send me the following error:
Cause Exception: 'Error when attempting
to get processing resources: com.sap.aii.af.lib.util.concurrent.ResourcePoolException:
Unable to create new pooled resource: DriverManagerException:
Can not establish connection:: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException:

Not sure, might be port number is not required in case using instance. Give one more try with :
jdbc:sqlserver:/ /Server01\SAP; databaseName = IntegraSAP2

Have you checked if your message is valid? Have you tested it against another server?
Which version of wss4j are you using and which PI version?
How does your module/handler configuration looks?
If the message is valid and the handler is configured correctly, you can set the trace level of org.apache to debug and see what it says.

Problem with Sender JDBC CC

Hi,
Sender JDBC communication channel is working fine first time to pull the data and from database. After pulling the data from the database i just stop the communication channel and start it to pull the data again. but it is not pulling the data and the adapter status is green in functioning. If i create the new communication channel with the same old CC parameters its pulling data again.
As per the sdn fourms to resolve the same, i coulnt not find any lock JDBC adapter with name $XIDBAD.JDBC2XI in Visula Amin.
Please share your valueble inputs on the same.

Check whether your select query followed by update in the communication channel stops returning resultset after one time. I mean update does some fields update and so reread the data using select statement again stops returning data. If that is not the issue then search forum for SAP notes related to JDBC adapter fix.

Problem with Sender Mail Adapter

Hi experts,
I'm developing a Mail-XI-RFC scenario and have a problem in the mapping. I have created a MI based in the structure of the attachment of the mail. I have a mapping that does xml->RFC and tests OK. When I send a mail to the account of the sender adapter, the system generates two payloads, the 'MailMessage' and the 'MailAttachment-1' that is the xml to map, but I have an error in SXM_MONI 'Cannot produce target element /ns0:...RFC name'.
The Sender Adapter configuration uses message protocol XIPAYLOAD, I have checked Mail Package, base 64 and keep Attachments. Interface namespace is the same as the xml and default interface name is the message interface created of type my xml.
What is wrong?

Problems with sender mail adapter

We have gone through a lot of blogs and searched a lot on the XI forum on how to configure the sender mail adapter with attachments but we still can't get it working at our site. Here are the issues -
1. When we define our data type in the IR as let's say out_email_dt with namespace "http://www.xyz.com" the mapping fails. In the monitor(SXMB_MONI) the message from the sender mail adapter comes in like this -

Question 1 - do we have to define our data type as "Mail" under the namespace "http://sap.com/xi/XI/Mail/30".
Question 2 - If you look at the content of the <From>,<To>,<Message_ID> tags you will see that there is content with <> tags which is causing the message mapping to fail. Is there a way of telling XI that they are not xml tags but part of some other tags?
2. Also the PayloadSwapBean doesn't seem to swap the payload to be the attachment.
3. Can we use masks in the PayloadSwapBean for attachment names like "." as we don't know what the file name is going to be as we have multiple partners who will be sending emails to the same address and with different file formats.

Problems with FL Studio: "Error while creating the ASIO driver."

I'm trying to use ASIO with FL Studio with my SB Live 24-Bit USB sound card. However, whenever I select "Creative ASIO USB" as my output device, I get the message "Insufficient USB Bandwidth. This device will reset to its default ASIO settings.", followed by "Error while creating the ASIO driver."
I've tried unplugging all other USB devices, switching USB ports, using a PCMIA USB 2.0 card, using Monster USB cables; all to no avail. It seems to me that there is plenty of USB bandwidth available but ASIO simply refuses to work.
Here are my laptop's specs (it's ancient but still good enough to run FL Studio):
P4 3.40GHz HT
1024MB PC3200 DDR RAM
SB Live 24-Bit USB sound card
128MB ATI Mobility Radeon 9700
Any suggestions?

So I guess no one could help me then?
It's OK, though, because I figured out the problem on my own. I had to change the "Device Control" settings in the Control Panel from 16 to 24-bit. Don't know why this would affect USB bandwidth, but whatever.

Sender RFC Adapter only processes first message

Hi there,
we have a R/3 - XI - 3rd party scenario, where the R/3 - XI communication will be established through a RFC.
The RFC destination was properly configured in SM59 in R/3 and also was the XI's sender RFC adapter, with the same program ID.
We called the RFC in R/3 Abap code and the message succesfully arrived at XI (it could be found in SXMB_MONI). However, any other call from R/3 would not result in a message arriving at XI (no new entry in SXMB_MONI nor in Message Monitoring, at RWB). New messages only appear again if we set the status of the adapter to inactive and then active again. Then the message arrives, but again, only the first one.
Can anyone help with this?
Is there any misconfiguration in XI or RFC Destination?
Or is it the abap calling that should be processed in another way?

which must be done after call function
and you can only have one call function
before the commit work
do you see any other errors in SM58?

Problem with sender RFC adapter

I have created one RFC adapter for which i have created wrong business system and all then i have deleted that and i have created on more RFC adapter but when i am testing my scenario its taking the old one which i have deleted from the Integration directory. I have refreshed the cache using sxi_cache and also in RWB. But still i m getting the same error...

but i have deleted the whirlpool_bs1 business system.

The file is not being read, only if I cahnge the * to the exact number of roes type ROw it is working,

I tried it on a simple file and it works,
But for some reason it doesnt work on my file, I think it because the structure of the segments.
the first line is the header and its key value is H u2013 it should appear once in the file
the second line is the header2 and its key value is D u2013 it should appear once in the file
the 3+4 lines is the details and its key value is L u2013 it should appear * times
the last line is the footer and its key value is D u2013 it should appear once in the file

Sender JDBC Adapter hang after network problem ?

I got problem with Sender JDBC Adapter. in the normal condition it is working fine. no problem at all.
The problem coming after network connection problem within XI and database for about more than 24 hours. After the connection resume the Sender JDBC Adapter doesn't want to pickup the data.

The problem resolve after restart the whole XI system. is there any other way to solve the problem without restarting the whole xi server. Because i have tried to stop and start the communication channel but still doesn't work until restart the xi. server.

Q: The TCP/IP connection to my database host is running over an unreliable network connection, i.e. the connection is sometimes interrupted. Consequently, I sporadically receive an SQLException regarding a closed connection in the system trace or audit log or the connection as well as the JDBC Adapter channel are hanging.
How can I work around this connectivity issue?
A: Enable the "Advanced Mode" for the respective JDBC Adapter channel and select the option "Disconnect from Database After Processing each Message".
Note that this might put additional load on your DBMS due to the creation of a new database connection for each message.
If you are connecting to an Oracle database, also refer to question #10 for an alternative solution.
