Problem with the weblogic evaluation version

Question

I am using WL6.0 evaluation copy, My problem is, in my session bean, when I am setting using the setLong() method of Callable statement, just it is throwing null pointer exception. I am sure that the value passed to the setLong is correct, but not Null. What could be the problem.Thanks in Advance

          First check out that if you were actually able to get
          an instance of callable statement.
          just compare it with null and see before you call the setLong() method
          on that
