Problem with view object for global variables
Hi,
I'm using jdeveloper 11.1.2.3.0
We are using view object with transient attributes for global variables.
we defined the view as explained here:

also we defined one of the attributes as primary key.
When we start to test our application with disable connection pooling we got some problems.
sometimes the row in the global view object is deleted.
(for example after using executeEmptyRowSet on other view object).
it looks strange, we couldn't fוnd why does it happen.
Any idea?
As Timo said, it is very hard to help without source.
Are you sure that you do the next step:
After the call to super.prepareSession(), add code to create a new row in the transient view object and insert it into the view object.

Problem with IO objects...variable might not have been initialized?
I dont get why its wrong, i've initialized both objects and variables, i dont know why it gives me that error T__T.
Program is supposed to compare both text archives and see if they are equal in a byte per byte way.

Problems with Library objects for a Flash document
Hello,
I have a question about a library one would create inside a
Flash document. I have a bunch of pieces of graphics objects
inside a library for a FLA file.
I then drag these pieces onto stage to build a more complex
object. I then select all those pieces and group them and
convert this new object into a movie clip.
Frorm there I move it into the library for that FLA file.
I notice there is both a graphic for this object plus the
movie clip for that object. To me these are 2 separate
objects. So when I delete the graphic of the object,
it also deletes the movie clip I created of the object.
Does anyone know why this happens?

Let me show you exactly what I mean. See the screenshots below: And then the text that follows.
Symbol 9 is a MovieClip ( From A above). It is a complete 9 of diamonds. It is exactly
what I need for my FLA file. Now notice in B I have Symbol 8 highlighted. Symbol 8 is
a partial 9 of diamonds. I do not want Symbol 8 in my library. So I delete it. Once I delete the
graphic shown here as Symbol 8, what happens next is Symbol 9 stays in the library EXCEPT
now Symbol 9 which is a movie clip has all the graphics wiped out. Symbol 9 is still in library
but it becomes a blank movie clip. -

We restored the Sybase database, but we have problems to access the database from Collection Manager and we can't obtain reports from SCE 2020.

we have problems with our reports in Collection Manager again. We reboot the CM, but the problems continue.

Problem with shared objects synchoronization.
I encountered a small problem with shared objects.
I'm working on a program that creates chat rooms of a fixed
size of 30 users. When the 31th user comes, a new room is created.
The idea is that the client first connects to the first room
and checks if it's full by connecting to shared objects. If it is
full, connection is closed and process is reapeated on a new
instance of the application.
I use a function to connect to an instance, which takes as a
parameter a number (1 for instance room_1, 2 for room_2, etc). The
function itself creates the necessary Netconnection and
sharedObject objects.
If a room is full, Netconnections and sharedObjects are
closed and function is called again with another number.
I have no problem for connecting to the first room, but after
closing the first connection and connecting to the new room, there
seem to be some problems with the shared objects (especially,
OnSync doesn't seem to execute again after the connection to the
shared objects of the new instance).
I was wondering if you had any ideas what could cause this.
Is it the use of the same variable names for connecting at two
different shared objects?

Any help would be really appreciatedI don't see any onStatus events in the code you posted above.
If you're defining the onstatus event outside the function, that's
the problem. When you define the shared object, you also need to
define it's onStatus event handler.
Also, you really should wait for the onStatus event of the
netConnection before you connect your sharedObjects. If you try to
connect the SO before the netConnection is established, the SO will
never connect. -

I have a Windows 7 Home Premium Computer
I have read all the suggestions and I have tried downloading multiple versions of Adobe Reader for Windows 7 and Vista from http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/.
Prior to downloading each version I would delete the current version using control panel programs uninstall.
After each new installation I would shut down the computer and then restart the computer.
I have tried downloading versions with and without having my antivirus (CA Total Defence) running.
I am told after download that the version downloaded successfully.
I have read Acrobat Help http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-reader-installation-windows.html and followed the instructions.
None of the above has helped.
The problem is no matter what version of Adobe Reader I download, I cannot seem to open a PDF and read it. Nor will the Reader itself stay open.
1. If I try opening the reader from the desktop link or from the actual program menu, the reader opens for about 5 seconds and then closes of its own accord. If I try to click on any of the reader menus (eg File, Edit, View, Window, Help, Tools) then a warning bell is sounded and the menu does not open. Shortly thereafter the reader closes.
2. If I try to open the reader by double clicking on a PDF document then the reader opens but the document is not shown (only the grey PDF reader screen is shown) and then the reader closes after about 5 seconds of its own accord.
The desktop shortcut shows as the 'red Adobe Reader icon'. But the actual program menu icon shows as a blank folder icon. All PDF documents show as the PDF Adobe icon.
I have tested various PDFs and none will open on this computer but they will open on other computers.
I have created a word document and saved it as a PDF. It looked like it had save correctly (has the appropriate icon) but when I try to open it as per step 2 above then the document is not shown and then the reader closes after about 5 seconds of its own accord.
Does anyone have any ideas about what is going on and how I can fix this?

inside Flex Builder 3.

When I want to retreive an object of type Contact, it seems
that only a couple of entries are filled. While debugging the flex
XMLDecoder, I noticed something strange. It seems, like the decoder
is expecting the result xml data to be in alphabetical order:
birthday, firstname, lastname, etc. But since the object is
inherited, the data that is actually received contains elements
from the parent class: birthday, firstname, id, inserttimestamp,
The resulting object has just birthday and firstname filled,
which is somehow wrong. This seems to be a problem inside the
parser itself. What can I do?I am having a problem with an extended class as well.
When I step through the code, everything is going fine and the decoder (mx.rpc.xml::XMLDecoder) sees that the class is an extension and wants to get the values for the superclass first. When it gets into getApplicableValues(), it's looking for the values to be in the order of the definition which would be ok if the values collection didn't include the values from the subclass as well! It goes through the whole definition and doesn't find anything for the superclass because the values aren't where it expects them. When it pops back up to the subclass and starts to decode those values, it finds them because the definition order and values order match.
Is this a known issue? Or, am I misunderstanding something?

we have SCSM 2012 R2, we have SCSM console installed on 2 computers. Only on one computer we have problem with viewing activities. For example, we go to Work items - Service Request Fullfulment - All Open service requests - Choose one request and open a
form, click Activities, double click on step (RAXXXX) and window with Review Activity details doesn't appear.Was there a second monitor connected to the computer before and is disonnected now? Sometimes it could happen the activity form will open on the "second non-existing monitor". Do you see the activity form window in the task bar of the affected computer?
If so activate the activity form window, press "alt"+space, select "Move" from the menu and try to move the activity form window to the main screen suing the arrow keys.

Problem with viewing modules on iPhone / iPad
Hello. I have a problem with viewing my modules on iPhone and iPad. I have the same problem previously with Captivate 6, which I honestly thought that it is solved on Captivate 7, downloaded the trial version just to test it and I got nothing improved about that,
So, when I publish and upload my course on cloud.scorm.com I got this:
iPhone - It only shows the top left of slides and I get full voiceover
iPad - shows photo top left on last slide (not first?) and hangs with no voiceover
This is a simple 4 slide course which I use for testing the project.

I am using Dreamweaver CS3 on a MacBook and have recently started experiencing frustrating problems in using Dreamweaver.
Very recently I am now no longer able to see the current CSS displayed for the element I wish as when I click on it at the bottom of the page, it will only display an element further up the hierarchy (see screenshot http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/651/screenshot20120224at093.jpg/) . You can see that I would like to see the details for ul but it won't show anything but #mainContainer.
I am also experiencing other problems on some (not all) sites I work on such as text and images disappearing in design view. I can get them back by toggling the show CSS button but it is getting very annoying as I have to do this after nearly every change I make. I have read other posts about this problem on this forum as I am not the only one and have tried repairing fonts as suggested but it hasn't made any differnce. The sites where I seem to be experiencing this involve jQuery sliders and galleries so am not sure if there is some kind of conflict here.
I have reinstalled Dreamweaver this morning to see if this would cure my problems but unfortunately it hasn't.
I would really like an answer to my first problem of not being able to view current CSS as I think this is a Dreamweaver issue and nothing to do with any coding as such but mention the other problem in case it is related and also hoping for a resolution for that as well.

LisaThat Intel Pentium message is misleading and you can normally ignore it I don't think it is related to you problem with viewing thumbnails.
Can you give us the following information? Most of it can be found by right-clicking on the "Computer" icon and choosing Properties.

There may arise some smaller corruption states that may be cured by what you did, as you can see in the list. Sometimes, restarting thrice is needed.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
If possible/applicable, you should save curent artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.
