Problem with wifi and I-phones 4S

Hello everyone,
I have a problem with my Cisco wifi.
Here at work i am using 2 Cisco 1100 series Aironet    (811G) (intalled in august 2005)

All I-phones 4S OS6 are kind of loosing connection, if i am using google i will be able to use it once but never twices, the second time google will always time out, but the users are still able to receive and send their emails so the connection is still up.
On the manager i can see every Iphone, and everything seems to be ok, the "secutrity" is a simple 128bits wep key and i have a macadress filter activated and finally the SSID is not broadcasted.
The iphones are working smoothly with any modern wifi.
So my questions are, is it a firmware problem? a configuration problem? or it is time to upgrade the hardware?

Turning off the 2 Aironet and activating the router's wifi, this wifi is not powerfull enough to cover the whole office but for now this is more than enough.

This support document http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4451 relates to the 3194 error. Generally this error has to do with trying to install an iOS that is not the most current. Maybe you tried to jailbreak the phone, or downgrade iOS? Any of this apply to you?

Problem With WIFI and Bluetooth

Recently i upgraded to IOS 8.1 so problem started with WIFI and Bluetooth . When i was in IOS 7.1.2 everything was fine with my device. so what should i do now ?? Is there any possibility to downgrade to IOS 7.1.2 ??

Unfortunately the BIOS is unable to be resorted to back it up, as the issue persists. I suggest contacting our Technical Support Team for all the information required and to get the details of the nearest Authorized Service Center to get the issue analyzed.

I am facing problem with wifi and cellular after update Apple iOS 8.0.2

How can we resolve the issue with wifi and cellular reception after update the iOS 8.2 on iPhone 5s 32 GB

Try some basic troubleshooting:
(A) Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
(B) Try reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
(C) Setup as new (data will be lost if you do not have backup)
Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings

Homehub 3 problems with wifi and network - please ...

I am hoping someone can help me, as I am struggling to work out why I am getting so many problems with my network at home.
I have BT Infinity, and a Homehub 3A. I have had BT broadband for years. Infinity was added in Feb 2013. The HH3A is the original one supplied to me years ago.
When Infinity was installed I also added a pair of TP Link powerline adapters, to provide a connection to an unmanaged network switch in the lounge.
A rough outline of what I have connected to the router is:
Wired
- Synology NAS Diskstation
- Win7 laptop
- powerline adapter
Wifi
- 3 iphones
- 2 ipads
- Win7 laptop
- 2 Win Vista laptops
Powerline / network switch
- Sonos bridge
- TV
- BluRay
- Vodafone booster
- SkyHD
Recently I am getting a number of different problems:
1) wifi drops to everything connected to the router, at the same time, all blue lights are on the router
I lose wifi connection to the internet, from all devices, at the same time, but also the connection from my laptop to the NAS drops.
2) Anything connected to the Powerline adapter is rarely available
I try and connect to Sonos, or my sky box or the TV, but they aren't connected to the router. The lights on the powerline adapters indicate everything is fine, and the HH3 has all blue lights. But my iphone and laptop cannot find my Sonos. My iphone app cannot find my sky box. And on the TV it says it is not connected to the internet. To solve this problem I have to power cycle the pair of Powerline adapters.
Some observations:
1) these problems are all since Infinity was installed. I have no idea if that is relevant.
2) My NAS Diskstation has a powersave mode. I noticed last night that when I woke it up, the powerline adapters disconnected briefly, before reconnecting. But when they did reconnect I could not access anything connected to them. It was as if the NAS had booted them off the network, and then they couldn't get back on.
3) I run a 10m brand new Cat5e cable from the infinity modem to my router, because the modem is in the garage.
Can anyone help? I am tearing my hair out with this.

If you set the devices on the home hub to always use the same IP address, then that can help.
The problem is that when the DHCP lease expires, the home hub often gives the device a different IP address, and this breaks the port forwarding rules.
Some routers allow you to specify which IP addresses are to be reserved, but the home hub does not.

Well, it started as a problem with wifi and bluetooth

Early this morning, both my wifi and bluetooth wouldn't work properly.
I turned off my ipod touch, and turned it back on.
Then, both my wifi and bluetooth were "grayed out".
AND for some reason, my iPod couldn't access any of my music.
All of my music still took up the hard drive space on the iPod, but it would not show up.
Now, I put my iPod into recovery mode, and plugged it into my computer.
I'm trying to restore it and update to the newest software, but after iTunes fully downloads the new OS, I get an error message saying that my connection timed out.
So now, my iPod is pretty much useless.
Anything I can do to make sure I'm not losing $300 because of Apple's faulty software?

The problem started while I still had the old 3.1.2 OS.
After all the primarily listed problems, I was eventually able to get it restore and update to 4.1.
It's not the OS.
I bought my iPod Touch just under a year ago, not too long after New Years.
I'll check in with Apple about it; You may be right about the faulty wireless hardware.
Just strange how it happened to mess up now.

Q5 initial setup problem with WIFI and agreement

Hi guys;
It’s my first day with my BB Q5,I started as the manul said but at the very beginning i faced a strange problem.As manual say’s i must connect to mobile network or WIFI.I got 2 wifi networks at my office.I get connected and Hotspot login say’s "Your BB device is now connected to the internet.
Swipe left to continue but after few seconds it say’s "unable to connect to the network.Please try changing your settings"
What shall i do now?
I tired with and without simcard also tried diffrent wifi connections but none helped

thanks for your comment, actually I tried several ones even without hotspot, but it didn't work, however my problem resolved while I got out of country and tried anothe hotspot WiFi and it is very quickly doen and I passed agreement page.
simply country IP was blocked in Blackberry servers, it means anyone want to connect from IRAN IP can not pass agreement pafe in initial setup.

Problems with WiFi and Safari

I have am having problems with my Wifi/Safari. I connect to my WiFi, by entering my password, yet the padlock icon remains, is this normal? Then, when I try to get onto any website on Safari, it says 'Safari can't open the page because it can't find the server.'
I have tried renewing the lease (not that it is a paid connection, this is my own personal Wifi connection), but that doesn't work either.
Any pointers?

Yes the padlock will stay locked and try getting on Youtube and see if that works because this happened to me and Youtube worked then later i found out that the website i had typed in was not a real website i had it typed in wrong so try that and i hope it works.

So clearly there's a problem with WiFi and Leopard.....

...that is affecting a subset of us. This problem is driving me nuts, and I've searched this board, as well as many others aggressively for a fix. So far, I've only found a few work-arounds, that don't really work.
The question is, are we certain that Apple has picked up this issue and is working on it? Any comments?

I am now having problems with my imac (2.16 core two duo, 20") running 10.5.1. I have been using this imac for nearly a year now with a wireless coneection and have never had a problem. I installed Leopard a month ago and have had no problems.
Yesterday I noticed my connection drop several times but I could always get it back. I have a good wireless connection on my ibook so I know my router is good. This morning my imac dropped the wireless connection and I cannot get it back. I had to run an ethernet cable to regain my connection.
It seems from a quick look around the boards that this problem is plaguing imacs only. I have noticed this problem happening with imacs running leopard and tiger. Hope a solution is found soon.
EDIT: I restarted the imac and my airport connection returned. I hope this doesn't become a regular thing.

I have problems with symbols and my phone ringing

I have had my nokia 5800 express music since may 2009 and have had a few minor problems but they usually clear thereselves up but now when i recieve a text it no longer rings or shows up on my phone i dont even get the message symbol at the the top of my screen all i get is my notification light flashing and have to go into texts to see what it is. I have read a whole lot of the problems and no one seems to be having this problem i phoned up nokia care and they were busy and i dont know how to fix it and it is really annoying me.

Try a reset.
Factory settings reset. In standby, dial *#7780# and the phone's lock code (the Nokia's default lock code is 12345). This reset restores phone's original settings.
Soft reset. In standby dial *#7370# and the phone's lock code.
Warning!Soft reset deletes all your phone's data, so backup your stuff before you do a soft reset!
Hard reset. Turn off the phone. Press and hold three keys together, the green key, the '*' key and the number '3'.Then, turn on the phone and don't let the three keys before you see the Nokia hands logo.
For 5800 XM hard reset need different keys. The green key, the red key and the camera button. The process is the same.Warning!Hard reset deletes all your phone's data!

Problems with wifi and airplay

I recently purchased an apple tv 3rd generation
I have been having issues like:
1) No video but audio plays and also no audio but video playing, when I use mirroring on my mid 2011 macbook pro running mountain lion
2) I have to restart my router every 15 mins to fix stalling wifi connectivity
3) Even when apple tv is switched off, the problem exists but disappears when I unplug it off the network
Other info:
I have an old router I use. I dont know the hardware configuration (I checked on 192.168.1.1).Again as I said this router works fine with all my other devices such as another pc and my android phone and ipod touch.No problem watsoever.The problems begin as soon as apple tv is on network.
I have tried using a new wifi 802.11g router but the above mentioned issues refuse to go away.Please help .
P.S:Very frustarted with a premium brand like apple not even having a choice of tech support over phone.I have off late drifted more towards non apple products due to it's very stubborn, unflexible ways with respect to service, support and products themselves.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. Networks that have inherent issues can be seen to work differently with different versions of the same software. You might also try moving the Apple TV away from other electrical equipment.

Problem with wifi and restart

Hi all
when im connected to my wifi network, or any other network, my browser is working fine, but applications like Facebook,twitter,Social Scope they all need a phone restart to work.
when i try to connect they are sayin im not connected do wifi, which is false, im connected and as I said my browser is working just fine. then after a restart, everything is working, all of that apps that i mention.
its frustrating to restart my phone so often, but only then it works.
is anyone familiar with this problem?

If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
You will have to re enter your Wi-Fi password.

I am having the SAME problems on my 5s. I cant send picture texts to androids but I can to iphones. I have tried turning off/on wifi, resetting networks settings, re-added them as a contact, and turned off imessaging, and yes mms is enabled! Nothing works!!

Since the iOS 7.0.4 update, I've lost both my bluetooth and my WiFi connection. As some other users has said on previous reviews, the WiFi button stay grayed and the bluetooth shows a spinnig "thinking" wheel, and that's it. Before that update, both services were working just fine.
I was hoping that the 7.0.6 update could fix those errors, but my problem remains.
Any Official comment from Apple about this issue?
