Problem with windows and my monitor in after effects

HI . before any thing excuse me for speeking english.
i have a problem with windows in after effect in my monitor
my monitor is 15.6 and resolution is 1366*768
for example when i open interpret footage window i can't see that complete and amount of size window dont visible.
Thanks.

Your system doesn't meet the requirements and that is that. AE has required 900 pixel height ever since CS4. Other than changing your screen res or shuffling around windows there is nothing you can do.

Hello, I have a Mac computer with NVIDIA 750M dedicated graphics card and monitor EIZO but the problem was there when I was working with Windows and Acer monitor. When I open a file from Camera Raw in PS this is smaller than the screen so I double-click with the tool "hand" to fit on the screen, but the picture loses sharpness and becomes blurry. If you magnify the image even only slightly with the tool "zoom" the picture comes back clear. In Camera Raw instead is always sharp. I solve the problem by turning off the graphics card in PS but often use plugin that need the graphics card otherwise the processing time is much longer. I ask for help.
    Thanks.

  • Problems with w520 and DisplayPort monitor

Is anyone else noticing Any of the following problems using a monitor connected to the w520 using DisplayPort and  Lenovo Windows 7? -
When the monitor's power saving is activated by the operating system, and is then woken up, the resolution is badly mangled. It's as if the screen is very heavily zooomed in. The only way I know to fix it is to start the Nvidia control panel by right clicking on the desktop, and selecting resize from "adjust desktop size and position"
Worse still, after fixing the "zoomed in" problem, the color bit depth appears to be drastically reduced, so that smooth gradations of color (for instance from light to dark) are replaced by blocky transitions that look terrible.
I'm noticing this problem on an 24" HP LP2475w running at 1900x1200, 32 bit. This is a professional quality wide gamut monitor. I never had these problems when it was previously connected to a T400s.
Nvidia driver version is 8.17.12.7593, downloaded from the Lenovo support site. Windows is running the latest Microsoft and Lenovo updates. The BIOS is the latest version, 1.34.
    Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you for the replies everyone. I have installed the drivers as suggested, but unfortunately the problem persists.
I neglected to mention that I'm already running the BIOS in discrete mode only, because I use Linux heavily and optimus doesn't currently work under Linux. I have never seen the problem when using Linux.
I can add a few more details, which I neglected to mention last time. When the problem occurs, and the computer is being shut down, the posterization problem persists even with the generic Windows is shutting down screen. I don't know enough about Windows to know whether the Nvidia driver is being used to output that or not.
I'm confident it's not the monitor or the cable. In fact, I'm certain it's not because I just switched the BIOS to Nvidia optimus to see if it would be any better than that mode. to test it, I attached two external monitors (one VGA and one DisplayPort), and had the laptop lid open. As soon as I booted the machine, the problem reemerged once the login screen appeared: the DisplayPort monitor was heavily zoomed in, and the colors were posterized. I reset the screen size using the Nvidia control panel ( which does not fix the posterization problem), rebooted again, and this time the DisplayPort monitor was fine, but the laptop screen was heavily zoomed in.  Another problem occurring simultaneously after this second boot with Optimus enabled is that the display resolution on the laptop is fixed at 800x600 instead of 1920x1080. Intriguingly however, the laptop screen's color reproduction is not posterized.
I have no idea if the problem is with the driver or bios.

  • Problem with windows and variable in smartform

    hi guru,
i create smartform for printing tax document and found problem.
    1)
i create layout in form like this.
           {Main Window}
                     <<<< Data to print
           <<<< secondary Window
             <<<< secondary Window
with many data in table, so this form will take 10 page up to print. i found and showed in every page.
in my solution *i want to display and on last page after {Main Window} Only*. how to resolve this.
    2)  follow to 1st question, can i place position of each window in dynamic?  +like 's position is under {Main Window} 2 cm.+ instead of specific position left margin , upper margin *or should i create other page and place and .*
    3)  i create 2 variables  (sum1 type p , sum2  type p ) for keep sum of  tax in table that show in each page and write it at end of each page. i want to clear data in these 2 variables when system create new page and start to keep sum of value again. i create program line node under {Main Window} after but don't know which code or syntax to write.how to code this?
    regards,
    Kittisak.

    1) On the 'Conditions' tab of your WIndow3 & WIndow4 just click the check box
'Only After End of Main Window'. It will always be printed at the last after your main window is finished.
    2) And if you don't want your window3 & window4 in a fixed place than instead of new windows do the same thing inside your main window creating a new template or anything as per your requirement and place it after your main table.
    3) For clearing the fields, do it like this, in the program lines write the code below:
    IF G_PAGE NE SFSY-PAGE.  " declare g_page with initial value '0'
        CLEAR field1.
        CLEAR field2.
        G_PAGE = SFSY-PAGE.
      ENDIF.
    With luck,
    Pritam.

  • Problem with T400 and external monitor (1920x1200 resolution)

    Hi there
    My laptop:
ThinkPad T400 2767-C99* (graphics is: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 256MB / X4500MHD (Switchable Graphics)), OS is WinXP
I just installed the newest video driver from the lenovo page (which also installs "ATI catalyst")
    Externale Monitor:
I just bought a Samsung SyncMaster 2443FW, 24" TFT monitor with maximum resolution 1920x1200
    Problem:
Monitor works great with my newer T400s and my old Acer laptop. However, with my T400 (described above), I can't make the monitor use the 1920x1200 resolution. However, all the other resolutions look ugly so I need it to work with 1920x120
    - If i change the resolution by rightclicking on the Windows XP desktop (and then properties=>settings) and set the screen resolution there to 1920x1200, then my monitor only used a lower resoltion (1440x900) and I get a scrolling effect as I move my pointer across the screen
    - if I use ATI catalyst software to set the resolution, I can only chose smaller resolutions (it does no go up to 1920x1200)
    Questions
Is that a hardware (maybe the graphic card does not support 1920x1200) or a software problem (maybe some problem with the driver) or just a matter of setting?
    What can I do?
Help would be very much appreaciated!

I have already installed the newsest drivers from Lenovo. I don't really see why I should install a non-official driver. I am convinced that it must work somehow with the official driver.
    Kind regards
there are plenty of instances where the official driver have glitches... just look around the forum to find instances of which.... while official drivers maybe better in most instances, there are always the odd case where it doesn't work as well as it should. If they perfectly out of box, then there would never need to be multiple revisions and updates.

  • Strange problem with RDP and mouse, only solved after minimize/maximize

    Good day,
We have this very annoying problem with a RDP Terminal Server. It is Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.
This server has the Session Host role installed, with local RDP user licenses.
We only have this issue when running a certain application.
This application is called Rockwell FactoryTalk View and this in an application to display industrial processes.
It will take the Full Screen in a fixed resolution and will display buttons, objects, values... The application also uses Internet Explorer cache so I think it uses ActiveX, Flash or Java, I don't know.
    What sometimes happens is this:
    - The mouse point is able to move in the entire screen (good)
    - The mouse button will only work in 1 certain area of the screen (which is a small rectangle)
    - The mouse "hovering" above objects will also only highlight items that are in this rectangle
    - The keyboard remains functional and with alt-tab other objects or other applications can get focus, but still no mouse clicking
The problem can be solved by:
    - Minimizing the RDP window and maximizing it again
    - Or: Sending a message to the session using task manager, after clicking "OK" on that message the problem is gone
Normally, about 5 users will have this application opened in their session, the "crash" is only effecting 1 session.
The problem seems to happen randomly and we don't know if we should point to the FactoryTalk application, or to Terminal Services/RDP. The end users have no rights to minimize/maximize, this is not the solution.
Is it possible to have any input on this please?
    Thank you.

    Hi,
Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
Firstly please check with the application support team whether the application is fully supported by Windows Server 2008 R2 in remote session. In addition, suggest you to update the client RDP version to RDP 8.1 and check the result for better feature and functionality.
Apart from this, there is Hotfix for the issue. Please download, install and check the result.
    Cause:
The issue occurs because the remote desktop ActiveX object does not deactivate the focus of the remote desktop session when the focus is lost. Because the focus is still activated, the remote desktop ActiveX object cannot set the focus of the remote desktop
session again when you change the focus back to the session.
A remote desktop session does not respond to keyboard input or mouse input after it loses the focus in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2

    Hope it helps!

    Hello to all,
    I have a problem with my HP 15 - n086sl .
With native Windows 8 did not.
the problem is the following :
moving from windows 8 to 8.1 I lose the switch graphics cards.
I mean : if I click with the mouse on "configure switchable graphics cards " I get out of a window that says " Unable to start Catalyst Control Center. currently there are no other settings to configure with CCC"
I tried to update the drivers with the ones on the HP site for windows 8.1 , but nothing changes .
From " Device Manager " I noticed that the drivers you have installed AUTOMATIC moving from windows 8 to 8.1 are the same version as on the hp website .

If I install the drivers from the AMD website I have the following problems :
the switch returns to work but hibernation no longer works and if the screen of the PC goes into standby by moving the mouse or pressing both buttons it never recovers . I have to turn off the computer by holding down the button.
I've done several searches for the web, even within the forum but have not found the solution.
    Will you help me ?

  • Please help... Problems with windows and bluetooth

    Hi,
My computer has been working without a hitch for the past 3 months but just recently i bought a bluetooth mouse to use with mac and windows. But then I noticed that there are some major issues now.
I have a Bluetooth devices icon in my control panel (actually two of them, i dont know how that happened) but in the device manager, there is no apple bluetooth kicker. No bluetooth hub at all. So I dont know if the driver actually installed or not.
Then, I try booting back up the macintosh drivers for windows cd to use the uninstall, but it can't uninstall. It only installs. I tried uninstalling through add or remove programs and it still just installs over again.
Please, somebody help me. I'm about to rip my MBP a new one.
    Thanks,
    Phong

Installed new boot camp drivers. Works perfectly now.

  • Problems with artifacting when importing clip from After Effects...

I have spent nearly 100 hours creating some effects in After effects within the last few weeks but have noticed some terrible verticle artifacting when I import them into FCP. I have tried exporting using Uncompressed quicktime codec as well as DVCPro/DV and the "none" option with the best quality settings(all using the same FPS) and it still creates these verticle lines. I have also tried not only using the settings for anamorphic(720x480) but exporting with naitive 16x9 (which I believe is 856x480)and still get these lines.
I need help please!! I am stumped on this one. Even when viewing the files outside of FCP using the Quicktime player the footage looks perfect.
    I would appreciate any help!
    Thanks,
    Andrew

My FCP settings are 24p advanced pulldown removed using DVCpro/DV 16x9.
I have exported using the same settings with the after effects codec to a .mov and still get the problem.
I am not viewing on an external monitor, only on the canvas. Could this just be a display issue?
    Thanks
    Andrew

  • Problems with Windows and Random Crashes

For the past two days I have been having tons of problems, since I finally got around to running the security update (2006-008). I've been having loads of random crashes, most commonly from Safari, Finder and iTunes. Safari crashes usually when I close a window or interact with certain flash things. It also fails to draw the window when I close the second-to-last tab (leaving one tab), giving me a big white square that I have to close. Otherwise, random window elements (such as bookmarks bar, address bar, etc.) will disappear at random, or will be horribly mis-sized.
Finder just quits whenever it wants, I have yet to find a common thread between crashes.
iTunes crashes usually when I play a video, but also sometimes when switching from the store to a playlist, or to the library. It also suffers occasional redraw problems similar to Safari, though not as bad. Garage Band does too.
Here's the output from the last iTunes crash, if it provides any clues:
    EXCBADACCESS (0x0001)
    KERNINVALIDADDRESS (0x0001) at 0xffffffff
    Thread 0 Crashed:
    0 GetPatternIdentifier + 211
    1 SetPortPat + 103
    2 BackPixPat + 42
    3 DataEngine::ApplyBrush(TTheme*, short, unsigned char) + 76
    4 SetThemeBackground + 836
    5 SetThemeWindowBackground + 292
    6 NewFeaturesDialog + 202
7 CreateDialog(Rect const*, unsigned char const*, unsigned char, short, OpaqueWindowPtr*, unsigned char, long, char**, ColorTable**, char**, char**, unsigned long, unsigned char, AutoPositionInfo) + 175
    8 GetNewDialog + 173
    9 0x1000 + 1686314
All of my crashes have been EXCBADACCESS (0x0001) ones.
Please help, as this is a nightmare to deal with.

That error usually comes up as a result of faulty RAM. Did you buy any chance upgrade the RAM in your iMac? If so, verify that the chip is seated properly and that it is supported for your iMac.

  • Problems with .mac and .me email accounts after iCloud

For over a month I have been locked out of my .mac and .me email accounts on password issues involving iCloud.
I must have changed (duly confirmed as valid by Apple) a dozen times my iCloud account password and duly updated it to the preferences of mail.
Still, when I try opening the mail I am prompted to enter the password, which every time fails. Every time I follow the link to replace the pw, I do so, I get the OK from Apple and back to square one ....
I tried talking to support, but after 40 minutes of waiting I was given an ineffectual tip that did not work. No intention of calling again.
Can anyone please put an end to my suffering?
(Yes, I can type. Yes, I have been using Apple computers since 1984. Yes, I regularly enter countless password protected sites, no problem)
    Thanks a lot,
    Luigi

I understand that they're the same thing but they don't seem to be working like that at the moment... and this has been the case ever since transferring to iCloud.
The problem I'm having is that if anyone emails my .mac address it returns to sender undeliverable, while the .me address works fine. Similarly, if I try to send an email using .mac it won't send it, but it will using .me. Most of my contacts have the .mac address so I'm not getting any emails.
If anyone has any advice I'd be most grateful.

  • Problem with receiving and making a call after updating OS.

I just updated my Z10 Model STL100-3 with the new OS 10.3.2.2168. I now cannot answer incoming calls. The phone rings, but there is no screen displayed to answer or decline the call. I'm also unable to unlock while the phone is ringing. Once the caller hangs up the normal opening screen appears advising I missed a call and then allows me to unlock the phone. When placing a call, the screen does not change to allow me to end the call. That is, I touch the contact name and it automatically starts dialing, but the screen does not react or change to show the call is being made. I then need to shut off the phone to hang up!

Hi and Welcome to the Community! Well, assuming you've waited the customary 48-72 hours, with plenty of reboots (including battery pulls), and this behavior is new, and the only thing that changed was the updated OS...then, the most common thing to do after an update that results in issues is to perform an OS reload. Sometimes, the update processes have errors and such...with a reload often curing the issues. The official methods, which will be controlled as to what exact OS versions you are offered:http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-10-Functions-and/How-to-Reload-your-Blackberry10-O...The unofficial methods, which are cleaner, and allow you to choose an OS version that perhaps your carrier (or whoever it is controlling your offers) has been slow to approve (unless you are on 10.3.2, in which case 10.3.1 and earlier are now blocked, but you should be able to use just about any 10.3.2 that is official):http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-10-OS-Device-Software/Upgrading-OS10-devices-using...http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-leaked-beta-os-f395/bb10-os-archive-943672/Of course, before you start any of this you will want a good backup via LINK, a manual copy of your Device Memory to your PC, and full documentation of your configuration (account credentials, added apps, configurations, etc.). Sometimes, restoring from a backup returns to the device the very corruption one needs to eliminate, and reconfiguring from scratch can resolve that. Good luck and let us know!

Driver problems with Windows Professional XP 64bit Edition

Well, after looking around the forum here I found an answer that works! I wish I could remember who to give credit too though. I installed the latest Vista drivers and I got static all the time. I tried another members suggestion of disabling the X-Fi device in the Device manager every time I log off and then enable the X-Fi the next time I log in. I have great sound as long as I do that. Also, for connecting to a home system I am using the DTS-60, $00 on this website, but it works well if you havea DTS decoder. I am using the X-Fi extreme Music edition. Good Luck, hopefully another driver is on the way.

  • Problems with Windows VISTA and WPA-2

    Hi Guys,
I am using a Linksys router supporting draft-N; it seems that after some time of usage; Windows Vista stop being able to connect to Linksys using a WPA-2 PSK.
Everytime you search for the SSID and attempt to connect, the ''network is taking too long to connect''' and Windows always informs the user that ''limited or no connectivity'' even though the signal strength is excellent.
Is that a common problem in Windows Visa (I am using Home Edition)?

Yes thats the basica command problem with Windows Vista while connecting to the Wireless Network.... In this you can need to update your Windows Vista OS with all the Latest Patches and the Service Pack to improve more stability on your Vista Computer to get connected to the Wireless Network..
