Problem with zoom trigger
Hi friends,
here i have a requirement to Customize Material Transactions Form to Zoom to the form Order Header Form after entering the Sales Order Number against which the Material transaction is happening passing order header_id as parameter (Order Fulfillment process automatically enters the Sales Order Number. The zoom must work after this process).
Now, i can zoom to the order form and open it but i am unable to pass the parameters and i have no idea how to pass the parameters. plese help me to solve this problem.
thanks in advance,
siddam
Hi Sunil,
Firstly i would like to thank you for your time.
I got lot of information in 115 dev guide the example is very good.
But while definig parameters i followed the example and is as given below
parameter name : PARAMETER996 NUMBER 30.
In the WHERE CLAUSE have given the following code
WHERE(PARAMETER996.HEADER_ID IS NULL OR
MTL_MATERIAL_TRANSACTIONS.TRANSACTION_SOURCE_ID LIKE PARAMETER996.HEADER_ID).
--mtl_material_trasactions is table name
--parameter996 is parameter name
In the WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE trigger my code is
if (:PARAMETER996.HEADER_ID is not null) THEN
GO_BLOCK('RESULTS');
do_key('EXECUTE_QUERY');
:PARAMETER996.HEADER_ID := null;
end if;
i found the following error when i compiled it
ERRORS:-
ERROR 49 AT LINE 110, COLUMN 5
BAD BIND VAIRABLE 'PARAMETER996.HEADER_ID'
please tell me how can i rectify the errors to pass parameters to the targer form.
thanks in advance,
siddam

Hello, I am new to Oracle and I am having problems with this trigger:
CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER myTrigger
AFTER INSERT OR UPDATE OF aField ON myTable
DECLARE
myVariable NUMBER(2);
BEGIN
SELECT COUNT(keyColumn) INTO myVariable
FROM myTable
WHERE TO_CHAR(myTableDate,'mm') = (SELECT TO_CHAR(SYSDATE,'mm') FROM DUAL);
IF myVariable > 4 THEN
RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR(20605, 'Here is an error.')
END IF;
END;
Every time the trigger is executed, this error happens:
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: number precision too large
ORA-06512: at line 10
How do I resolve this problem?
Thank you.Hi,

Thank you.Are you sure the code you posted is what's actually running?
I would expect the missing semicolon after:
RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR(20605, 'Here is an error.')to keep this from even compiling.
Error numbers are supposed to be negative. That will cause a run-time error when you try to raise the error.
This isn't actually an error, but there's rarely a need to use dual in PL/SQL.
WHERE TO_CHAR(myTableDate,'mm') = (SELECT TO_CHAR(SYSDATE,'mm') FROM DUAL);can also be done this way:
WHERE TO_CHAR(myTableDate,'mm') = TO_CHAR(SYSDATE,'mm');Actually, the condition above would work even outside of PL/SQL. -
Problem with zoom in Photoshop CS6
Hello
I've got problem with new(?) feature in Photoshop CS6.
When I'm working on my project and have for example 150% zoom and I want to move workspace with SPACE+LMB.
In my previous version (CS3) I can do this without problem but know Photoshop shows me my file with FIT TO SCREEN zoom and some frame to choose
which screen area I want to zoom in.
It's just zooming out to full view of file. I hate this, but I can't turn it off.

I am very interested in knowing if any user out there could somehow fix the problem by reseting, reinstalling, etc. I got an update a few hours ago, and that didnt fix it either.
I have tried a lot of suggestions, and the only one seems to be working for me is to turn on "Scrubby Zoom"
Noel,
I run Adobe CS5 on MBP 10.6 and CS6 on MBPr 10.8. No additional plugins, English US keyboard. The laptops come with standard configuration... nonetheless, they both have the same issue.
I am sure my computers have different settings from others, but this issue does not seem to be isolate as there are other users have experience it too.
I personally, don't think it is too hard to re-create. Most likely happen when
1. Hold down space+command to zoom in
2. Release keys, then hold down space and start moving around
3. there you go, "bird's eye view" comes
One thing I notice is that the problem does not occur all the time.

Hi, I've been having a problem with the zoom in CS5. I've looked around the web for a solution but no luck.
Basically when I zoom out the image becomes pixelated unless its at 50% zoom. The same image with the exact same zoom will look absolutely fine in CS4.
Example:
http://img691.imageshack.us/img691/3761/46991735.jpgPeople sometimes report that the OpenGL based zoom in Photoshop CS5 makes their images seem soft. Your observation seems to be the opposite.
It sounds as if you're not actually getting font rendering in OpenGL, and maybe you need to update your video drivers (or maybe your video card just won't do that function).
Are you seeing the same behavior if you change the Advanced settings for OpenGL in Edit - Preferences - Performance? FYI, I just tried it and I see the same jaggies on huge fonts reduced to 66.67% with OpenGL off, which is to be expected.
However, with OpenGL on, I see this:

Think about it: your trigger fires on UPDATE so each time fires, it updates the table and fires again. This is what is known as mutation.
What you should do is create a trigger that executes BEFORE the update and simply do
:NEW.factuali := SYSDATE;
If ncontra is not a unique column and you genuinely want all rows of the same value to have the same factuali timestamp, well, it's very difficult, indeed I don't think it can be done. You could try submitting a DBMS_JOB to do the update, passing in the factuali value as a parameter; that DBMS_JOB would have to disable the trigger before doing the update (to prevent the recursion) and then re-enable it afterwards. Which seems like a lot of work: are you sure your design is correct?
(2) You don't need the commit statement: the triggere exectutes within the commit phase of the original update.

Is anyone else having problems with zoom in ios 8?
I just installed ios 8 on my iPhone 5, and honestly, I am not thrilled with the
results. I am visually impaired and rely heavily on the zoom feature. The
reaction time to the three-finger tap in ios 8 now seems sluggish, swiping
around to move the view feels like pulling my fingers through mud, and the
image doesn’t move as smoothly as before. Previously, I could swipe with three fingers
to move my view, and after I lifted my fingers, it would glide smoothly, coming
to a gentle stop after a moment, in a similar way as swiping to scroll works in
contact lists and long messages. This meant I could read something while it
moved, without my fingers in the way.
Now the image moves much more quickly and then comes to a sudden halt
after a second, as if it hit a wall. I have to keep putting my fingers down,
almost clawing at my screen to move it around. It is extremely frustrating.
Honestly, it now feels like the zoom feature in recent Android phones. It’s a
very subtle difference, and it/s a little better when “ follow focus” is off.I have problems with many of the same issues you mention with zoom on iOS8. Its not entirely clear if this is intended functionality or a number of bugs. The setting for full screen view versus window/regional view seems to not apply globally, which is insanely frustrating. Window view pops up without warning, particularly in a keyboard pop-up event.
I don't particularly liek the popup menu either, but now I HAVE to use it to constantly change from the sudden change to window focus to full screen zoom.
Some of the new filter features are nice additions, but don't seem to work well. or be performance optimized. Low-light, for example, stutters on zooming.
I would also assert that zooming in and out seems more abrubpt and less accurate.
iOS8 is definitely a decrease in usability and performance from its predecessors. Apple, please work out the bugs and get this right! -

Problem with zoom in and zoom out
hello,
m doing zooming operation on tiff image.
when i applied zoom in operation on image which have properties
Bit per sample =1
Image Length = 2200 Pixel
Image Width = 1700 Pixel
Resolution(x) = 200 dpi
Resolution(y) = 200 dpi
then it require 2 sec.
then i apply the same code with diff image which have properties like,
Bit per sample =1
Image Length = 3300 Pixel
Image Width = 2500 Pixel
Resolution(x) = 300 dpi
Resolution(y) = 300 dpi
then it require 9 to 10 sec.
my code is:
RenderedImage src= oriRndImage[selectedButtonIndex];(orirndImage is Rendered
Iamge)
//Transfer Current RenderedImage object into BufferedImage object
Raster ra= currRimage.getData(); //it take time.
DataBuffer db = ra.getDataBuffer();
SampleModel sa = ra.getSampleModel();
ColorModel cm = currRimage.getColorModel();
final BufferedImage currImage = new
BufferedImage(cm,Raster.createWritableRaster(sa,db,null), false, new
Hashtable());
//Create new Bufferred Image
BufferedImage bi = new BufferedImage(zoomW,zoomH, BufferedImage.TYPE_INT_RGB);
Graphics2D g = bi.createGraphics();
double scaleW = (double)(zoomW)/(double)(prev_width);
double scaleH = (double)(zoomH)/(double)(prev_height);
transAtZoom = AffineTransform.getScaleInstance(scaleW,scaleH);
g.drawRenderedImage(src, transAtZoom);
can any one tell me that image properties affect the speed.?
how to handle this problem?
Regards,
Shruti.Hi,
I m dealing with same problem as the one u specified regarding speed of zoom effect,can u plz help me out if u have a solution for the same..

A problem with plsql trigger in my form
i created two text field and a button(insert) to take the value of the text feild at run time and insert it in the table
this is my procedure
CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE insert_value
(brn_id_in_p IN branch.brn_id%TYPE,
brn_name_in_p IN branch.brn_name%TYPE)
IS
BEGIN
INSERT INTO branch (brn_id,brn_name)
VALUES (brn_id_in_p, brn_name_in_p);
END insert_value;
and in the form button trigger (when button pressed ) i wrote this
EXECUTE insert_value(:BRANCH.BRN_ID_TF,:BRANCH.BRN_NAME_TF);
but it gave me plsql error but i dont know why?
note BRANCH is the datablock name and BRN_ID_TF,BRN_NAME_TF is the name of the itemsOnly write
insert_value(:BRANCH.BRN_ID_TF,:BRANCH.BRN_NAME_TF);
and then give me the error which is prompted...
another problem may occur with the data type which you declared in the properties of the text items
:BRANCH.BRN_ID_TF and :BRANCH.BRN_NAME_TF
in your forms. -
hello friends,
from last 10 days i m stuck with this problem , please help me.
in my application i m zooming in and out operation and performing these opertions using AffineTransform.
Its working well but problem is that after zooming, all operations related to mouseEvent are disturbed, like if i try to select a label which is in my JPanel then i would have to click somewhere else on JPanel not on that label to select that one. similarly if i try to draw a rectangle by dragging mouse (for which i have written code ) its not drwaing the rectangle at exact location but some where else. I have checked the initial points to draw that rectangle..
please help me what should i do..Hi Tanelo,
Welcome to the Discussions.
Start in Safe Mode. That will disable all but the Apple extensions and allow you to remove the Microsoft driver.

Why would connection pooling cause problems with a trigger?
This is a strange one. We have an app that deletes a row in a database table, and this table has a delete trigger on it. The row gets deleted every time the app is run, yet the trigger only fires intermittently. It's not that the trigger is failiing in some way - it just doesn't get called at all. If I issue the same delete command in PL/SQL developer then the trigger fires every time.
Several hours later and out of desparation I tried turning off connection pooling via the app's connection string, and found that the trigger now fires every time. Any ideas what might be causing this behaviour? I can reproduce/fix the issue every time simply by setting "Pooling" to true or false!
We are using Oracle 11g and ODP.Net v4.112.2.0.
Thanks in advance
AndrewMore information: I've now been able to reproduce this issue in a small .Net app, and can make it fail in a more consistent manner (which I'll explain later). While it's still too large to post the entire code here, I can summarise what the app does in pseudo-code:-
for(int i = 1; i <= 10; i++) // Run the test a number of times
// Step 1 - Delete rows from the table with the delete query in question
Execute non-query "delete from test_table";
Wait 1 second
// Step 2 - Check that the delete actually happened
Execute reader "select count(*) from test_table"
Display the count
// Step 3 - Check that the delete trigger inserted some rows into a "logging" table. This is my method of "tracing" - I added a basic insert to the start of each trigger section, as mentioned in my previous post.
Execute reader "select count(*) from my_logging_table"
Display the count
// Reinstate the test data
Execute non-query "<insert rows back into test_table>"
Wait 1 second
For info the connection string is fairly basic:- "Data Source=<tns name>;User Id=<foo>;Password=<bar>"
Some points of interest:-
- When running the above test app, the trigger successfully fires on the very first iteration (i.e. "Step 3" displays a non-zero count from the logging table). All subsequent iterations fail ("Step 3" displays the same count each time).
- If I turn off connection pooling (by adding "Pooling=false" to the connection string), the trigger runs on every iteration (i.e. "Step 3" displays an ever-incrementing record count).
- Regardless of whether it works or fails, the deletion in step 1 does take place (confirmed by "Step 2" displaying a count of zero).
- I added the waits after the non-query calls to see if that made a difference, but it doesn't. I can change these to 10 seconds or more and it will have no effect on the issue.
The "Execute non-query" method uses code along these lines:-
using (var conn = new OracleConnection(ConnString))
conn.Open();
using (var cmd = conn.CreateCommand())
cmd.CommandText = sql;
cmd.CommandType = CommandType.Text;
result = cmd.ExecuteNonQuery();
conn.Close();
return result;
While the "Execute reader" method looks like this:-
var conn = new OracleConnection(ConnString);
conn.Open();
var cmd = conn.CreateCommand();
cmd.CommandText = sql;
cmd.CommandType = CommandType.Text;
return cmd.ExecuteReader(CommandBehavior.CloseConnection);
The calling code in the for loop, wraps the returned reader in a using clause like this:-
using (var reader = ExecuteReader("<sql>"))
This will dispose of the reader, which will in turn close/dispose the connection (due to the CommandBehavior.CloseConnection parameter passed to ExecuteReader).
Interestingly, if the reader isn't disposed of then the problem becomes more intermittent (the trigger will fire perhaps 25% of the time). This is what's happening in our unit test harness. By ensuring the reader/connection is closed and disposed (which common sense would say should improve matters), the trigger only fires on the very first iteration of the loop. The plot thickens. -
Weird audio sync problems with Zoom H4n?
We are adding a voice-over track to a Keynote presentation - using the inboard mic in a MacBook Pro.
We are simultaneously recording the voice-over with an Audio Technika mic plugged into a Zoom H4n - recording at 48/24.
We export the Keynote to a ProRes LT Quicktime movie - outputting the sound as 48k/24 bit
I'm not sure what Keynote is recording the original voice at (and I'm thinking that may be my problem).
I bring the ProRes LT Quicktime movie into FCP Studio and try to sync up the Zoom Audio. And it doesn't stay in sync. Here is the odd thing. When you look at the waveforms in the audio files, they are exactly in the same place ... but by the end of the 45 minutes the actual audio is WAY out, seconds out. It doesn't make sense to me that the audio waveform is identical, and the sound is delayed on the Zoom track.
Technically, the ProRes and the Zoom audio tracks are 48/24. The only unknown is what Keynote records at. I'm suspecting it's probably 44/16. Which could be my problem. But doesn't explain why the audio waveforms are identical (and on one the audio is actually delayed).
Any ideas?
all ears, BenThanks for the reply. I don't have time for this. is it time to switch to a different editor?

Problems with Zoom Text 9 (Aisquared) screen reader reading Captivate 3
Hi
In our organisation we don't have many people who use screenreader but those that do use Zoom Text 9.
I have a guy that is testing the first package we are building that is fully Section 508 compliant; however he reports that zoom text fails to read the text.
I have followed the help section when building the package so I am fairly confident it is set up correctly. I have also read a couple of messages saying the function has worked with other screen readers, so I was wondering if anyone had experienced problems particularly with ZT9.
Any help would be gratefully received.
Thanks
AndyAndy,
Please use the lastest version of ZoomText which is at this time 9.18.7. There have
been changes in recent releases for Adobe Reader support including the support to read protected PDF documents. Here is a link to the updates:
http://www.aisquared.com/support/more/updates/
Please be advised that the support requires Adobe 9.1 or later.
If you have any questions or need help contact support at aisquared dot com.

Problem with Parcial trigger on master Datail
my Entities :
group: gId,parentId,name
roles : pId,name
permission: gId,pId
my Associasions:
GroupToGroupAssoc -> group.gId & group.parentId
GroupToPermissionAssoc -> group.gId & permission.gId
and i have a view on Group (that is shown as a tree on a page).
and a view on permission (that is shown as a read Only table on the same page with the tree)
the tree Binding is something like "myApp.model.view.GroupView(<GroupView_2>)"
my question :
I want the permission table to be refreshed on tree node selection change.
but the problem is when I set parcialTrigger of the table to point to the "tree",It only get refreshed on first level selection change of the tree.
and when inner nodes get selected no refresh happens!!!(that's because the tree seems to have two iterators)
please advice,
Thank you,
ShahabMe once again, and I've got the solution!
1. Put the text boxes where you want them on your Master.
2. Go to the "Pages" panel and highlight all pages.
3. In the "Pages" panel options pull-out, choose "Override all Master Page Items".
Now all your pages have a free-floating text box!
Cheers!

Interlace problems with zooms/pans on stills
We are working on a simple slide show with still images. There is a wavering quality to the images as they zoom or pan across the screen. It creates a kind of moray effect that is unpleasant. The movie is going to be projected onto a large screen so it will look even worse. I can't seem to find a way to de-interlace the images except in photoshop. Is that my only option or is there some way to turn off interlace in imovie?
wavering quality to the images as they zoom or pan across the screen
That seems to indicate that you used the Ken Burns effect to pan/zoom the images, right? If yes, then you should not be a victim of the nasty old iMovie 3-5 bug Sue provided a link to.
IMO Photo To Movie's high quality setting renders better quality Ken Burns than, erm, iMovie's Ken Burns effect. Maybe the wavering is caused by suboptimal subpixel rendering in iMovie? (wow, that was a great sentence
