Probleme bei Excel-Import mit SBO 2007

Hallo zusammen!
VG daniel

  • Excel-Import with SBO 2007

    Hello to all!
I have problems concerning the Excel-Import-function within SAP 2007.
I want to import some business partners (what should not be such a huge problem), but an internal error occures which states:
"internal error: Payment Methods for Payment Wizard (OPYM) (-2007) occured.
After I set up the Payment Wizard it is still not working - now the internal error stats: "(-2007)".
Experimentally, I tried to import the bp-data into an older version SAP BO 2005 - as personally expected no internal errors occured! even if i do not set up the Payment Wizard...
Here are some facts to our sbo 2007 version:
    2007A (8.00.178)
    SP: 00
    PL: 44
I tried to find a thread upon this topic, but I could not find any. Maybe some of you might be able to help me! I am looking forward to it,
    thanks a lot
    daniel

    Hi Daniel,
i had have similar problems by importing datas via excel function. My suggestion is to import step by step.
Select a few records and separate it into an extra excel sheet...(5-10 Records)
First try to import only CardCode, CardName, second try 2 records more. So you will find the records, that makes some trouble.
    Regards Steffen
(P.S. I think it could be the g/l account definition, but i am not sure.)

  • 4.1EA2 - Still problems with Excel import

    Hello out there,
I just tried importing a .xlsx with 4.1.0.18.37 and I still have an old issue and a new one:
First, SQL*Developer seems not to determine the appropriate field length from the Excel file anymore. I usually uncheck the preview limit to 100 records. In my current import every text field was proposed as varchar2(26) even if there are just three characters in every record.
Second, and this is an old one, numeric fields cannot be imported properly. I get ORA-1722 invalid number. This was introduced with 4.1EA1 and still is not fixed yet. I run both SQL*Developer and the database (11.2.0.2 if that matters) with german localization. Oddly enough, the SQL written to the log (named *-bad.sql) runs without problems when executed afterwards.
I suspect SQL*Developer malformatting numeric values when sending it to the database. In the preview the numbers are shown with decimal comma, which is correct for display purposes and in the *-bad.sql they are correctly shown with decimal point which is what the database expects. So somewhere between these, there seems to be some NLS issue.

    >>First, SQL*Developer seems not to determine the appropriate field length from the Excel file anymore. I usually uncheck the preview limit to 100 records. In my current import every text field was proposed as varchar2(26) >>even if there are just three characters in every record.
That's right, we're rounding up. Since we don't know how wide the actual stream is, we only previewed a 100 records, we round up to avoid problems at import time.
Click the dropdown control, i'm guessing you'll see your '3' there.

  • How to troubleshoot problems with Excel import

When I import a spreadsheet from Excel into Numbers, I get a notification window with a long list of errors encountered during the import.  I can deal with the formatting issues, and I've managed to get rid of most of the "unsupported formulas" errors.  However, I still have one stubborn "unsupported formulas" error.  How do I get Numbers to identify which cell(s) have unsupported formulas that were removed on import from Excel?

There are some triangle symbols, but they refer to using a BOOLEAN as a number.  That's not where the problem with unsupported formulas is, though.  Numbers says that it replaced the cells that had unsupported formulas with the contents of the cell at the time of import, which I interpret as meaning that I should be looking at cells that don't contain formulas.  My problem is that I have lots of cells that contain only numbers, and I somehow need to find that single cell that have an unsupported formula in the Excel version of the file.
    Thanks for the suggestion, though.

  • Excel import problems (collected)

There are a few problems with Excel Import. Some have been reported elsewhere.
    Test Data
    Table Definition.
      CREATE TABLE "JIM"."EXCEL_IMPORT"
       (     "COLUMN1" VARCHAR2(100 BYTE),
         "COLUMN2" VARCHAR2(100 BYTE),
         "COLUMN3" VARCHAR2(100 BYTE),
         "COLUMN4" NUMBER(10,2),
         "COLUMN5" NUMBER(10,0)
      TABLESPACE "USERS" ;
    Spreadsheet contents
    Label1,Name 1,Desc 1,2.95,2.45
    Label2,Name 2,Desc 2,1,1.23456
1 The file chooser doesn't remember the last directory used, but defaults to the sqldeveloper install directory.
2 Numbers in the preview are truncated/rounded.
    2.95->3
    2.45->2.4
    1->1
    1.23456->1.2
3 If you make a mistake in assigning table columns to spreadsheet columns, you can't undo it because the columns already used are removed from the list of available columns. This needs an 'De-assign' option
4 When you assign columns, number columns don't get their precision or scale picked up.
This shouldn't matter because the DML is simple doing insert...values(1.2), but the end result is wrong (see 5).
The DML looks OK (relative to the already rounded numbers, not to the original spreadsheet.
    insert into EXCEL_IMPORT (COLUMN1,COLUMN2,COLUMN3,COLUMN4,COLUMN5) VALUES('Label1','Name 1','Desc 1',3,2.4);
    insert into EXCEL_IMPORT (COLUMN1,COLUMN2,COLUMN3,COLUMN4,COLUMN5) VALUES('Label2','Name 2','Desc 2',1,1.2);
5 A problem with assigning colums if you switch off header row after assigning columns. There are a number of slightly different problems.
    a. Select your table and select all the columns in the 'Columns' tab
    b. Assign table columns to your spreadsheet columns in the 'Data Types' tab
c Go back to the columns tab
d Uncheck 'Header Row?' - the columns are all deselected
    e Reselect all columns
Any of several things may happen now
e.1 In the Data types tab, columns may be missing
e.2 Column assignments may be wrong
e.3 There are no table columns in the drop down when trying to assign columns
It looks as if the handling of the list of table columns is not right.
6 The 'Choose data type' prompt is misleading. It should be 'Choose Table Column'
7 The help is very sparse, especially on the datatypes tab.
I've also posted a couple of enhancement suggestions in the exchange
    - an option to save the DML
    - an option to save the metadata for a given import so that the next import to the same table is just a matter of select file and go.

Are there any solutions to the data truncation/rounding problem?
I am trying to import Excel data into tables through SQL Developer and notice that the preview screen displays truncated/rounded numbers even after I have deliberately formatted the data in Excel as numbers in 3.2 format. Is there a workaround?
Thanks for any advice you can give.

  • Excel import: importing too many rows

I am working with SQL Developer 1.2.0 Build MAIN-29.98 and have a problem with Excel import: I would like to import some data from an XLS file. I click on Actions -> Import Data -> Excel, complete the dialog and check the DML: there are 3 insert into SQL statements that are correct (I can run them manually); however, SQL Developer imports not only 3 rows but much more! I cancelled the action after SQL Developer already imported 1015 rows!
    What am I doing wrong?
    Thanks!

When I do a print preview I see only the rows and columns I entered, there is only one page. It seems that everything is ok in Excel.
In the Excel import dialog SQL Developer correctly shows the preview of the content of the XLS file.
Interestingly I often get a Java NullPointerException (local Java 6 JRE & JDK installation) when calling the Excel import dialog :(

  • Problem with index markers and importing MS Word 2007 files

This was ugly in that it wasn't caught until after a book had been typeset and the index was being finalized. I'm now having to go back and manually insert a zillion index markers. Not fun.
This was my first project since migrating from FM 7.1 to FM9.0.3.
Source documents are Microsoft Word 2007. Am working in Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit.
When the Word files were imported into FrameMaker, only SOME of the index markers were imported. The difference between those that were imported and those that weren't was seemingly random.
I did some testing and found the problem and a solution.
Looking at the source Word .docx file, and displaying hidden text shows two types of index markers:
    1. { XE "word to be indexed"}
    2. {xe "word to be indexed"}
Note the difference in case and the extra space after the opening brace in #1. Markers of type 1 were imported fine. Markers of type 2 were stripped by the import process.
    The solution:
Backsave the Word file to Word 2003 format (.doc) before importing into FrameMaker.
I backsaved to Word 2003 and imported using both the "Microsoft Word" and "Microsoft Word 2007" filters and both filters imported correctly. It's only when trying to import a Word 2007 .docx file directly that things run amok.
    Grr...

Thank you for posting your solution, Dan. It's cold comfort, but I've also ran into this issue in the past, almost certainly well before Word2003 though, probably as far back as Word2000 or earlier.
In your testing, did you try saving as RTF to see if the markers were homogenized, by any chance? In my simple testing just now, Word itself recognized the index field correctly no matter whether I changed the field to "xe" or "XE", but FM's import of the .docx file format wouldn't recognize "xe", only "XE". But importing an RTF file handled both upper- and lower-case entries.
Ah, yes, that's it -- saving the Word2007 file as RTF (with 2 fields, one caps, one lower-case) changed cap field to lower-case when the RTF is opened in Word again, so saving as RTF does homogenize the fields to lower-case. Is it possible that your file(s) were changed to or saved as RTF at any point in their life-cycle? I believe some older versions of Word were actually RTF under the hood, too -- if you do Save As in Word2007 you can scroll through the File Type entries and see "Word 97-2002 & 6.0/95 - RTF (*.doc)"  I believe some doc management systems change binaries to RTF too, or conversely some apps create RTF but they name the files as doc.
So Word itself recognizes either lower- or upper-case, and FM's RTF import handles both, but not the .docx import.

  • Problem Flash Player bei IE 11 mit HP Solution Center+Datei Flash.ocx

    Hallo
    activex.vch
    Flash64_15_0_0_189.ocx
    FlashInstall.log
    FlashUtil64_15_0_0_189_ActiveX.dll
    FlashUtil64_15_0_0_189_ActiveX.exe
    FlashUtil64_15_0_0_189_Plugin.exe
    NPSWF64_15_0_0_189.dll
    plugin.vch

  • Excel Import problem

I'm having trouble with importing data from excel. I'm using HiQ version 4.5 and during import spurious data seems to appear after import. doesn't inspire confidence in software quality

When the Excel Import dialog is invoked, you need to give the information required on the tabs.
    1. On the columns tab: Shuttle any columns you want imported to the right.
    2. On the Data Types Tab: In the second column, you need to match the column selected with the column in your table.
    Then you can say insert.

Was läuft da schief?

  • "An error occurred sending the command to the application" When trying to open excel document from outlook 2007

Error message "An error occurred sending the command to the application" When trying to open excel document from outlook 2007.
    OS: Windows Server 2008 R2
If I save the document then it opens fine, messing with default file associations does not resolve this problem, I've googled for ir it and some suggest unticking compatibility mode or "run as admin" for excel application, neither is selected in my case.
Outlook is configured to run as remote application from remoteApp server, this error is only occurring for one user, for others excel documents open just fine.

    Hi
    Thank you for using
Microsoft Office for IT Professionals Forums.
From your description, we can Create a trusted location follow these steps
Click the Microsoft Office Button , and then click Excel Options.
Click Trust Center, click Trust Center Settings, and then click
    Trusted Locations.
If you want to create a trusted location that is not local to your computer, select the Allow trusted locations on my network (not recommended) check
    box.
    Click Add new location.
IMPORTANT   We recommended that you don't make your entire
Documents or My Documents folder a trusted location. Doing so creates a larger target for a hacker to potentially exploit and increases your security risk. Create a subfolder within Documents or My Documents, and make only that folder a trusted location.
In the Path box, type the name of the folder that you want to use as a trusted location, or click Browse to
    locate the folder.
If you want to include subfolders as trusted locations, select the
Subfolders of this location are also trusted check box.
In the Description box, type what you want to describe the purpose of the trusted location.
    Click OK.

  • G/L Account Determination Document for SBO 2007

I would like to find a document (word, excel or pdf) that explains the G/L Account Determination and its accounts. In which documents inside SBO are those account used? I see more accounts used in SBO 2007 and use trial and error to see these but preferred a document. I have seen the empowerment session about account determination but do not explain each of the accounts. Any help ?

Sorry for attaching wrong thread .
Please refer to the following information
g/l Account Determination ---> purchase ---> Expense Account
Define an expense account to be used as the default when a transaction of domestic purchasing is posted, for example, an A/P invoice. The system also selects this account as a default when you create new warehouses, item groups, and item master data records.
The expense account is applicable only when you use non-inventory items.
g/l Account Determination ---> purchase ---> Purchase Credit Account
Define an expense account to be used as default when a credit transaction for purchasing is created, for example, an A/P credit memo.
This account defaults for new warehouses, item groups and item master data records creation.
The purchase credit account can be the same as the Expense Account, in case you do not wish to record credits to a separate account.
Setup g/l Account Determination ---> inventory ---> Expense Clearing Account
Define an offsetting G/L account to clear journal entries created by A/P invoices and goods receipt POs. This G/L account is used in journal entries when the Allocation account is also involved.
Setup g/l Account Determination ---> inventory ---> Goods clearing Account
When you close goods receipt POs or goods returns, this account is used as an offsetting account to the Allocation account. In this case, the system does not register an inventory transaction; however, it creates a journal entry involving this G/L account.
Clearing account: An account to which postings are recorded temporarily because of a time gap between accounting transactions, organizational task distribution, or accounting transactions requiring clarifications.
No matter what kinds of clearing accounts, they will be temparary accounts per se.
