hI,
Does anyone know how the column remordpla is calculated into report S_alr_87013533?
What are its exact calculation steps? I mean , those data how it is extracted?
Thanks a lot ,Carlo

Doesn't work hitting f1 won't give me any info , had already tried...

  • How to use Value Variable in Report Painter Column defined as Formula

    Hi Gurus,
In report painter, how can I add one field (exchange rate) in selection screen, so that user can provide the exchange rate to be used, then execute the report, the exchange rate will used to multiple local currency amount.
The reason for this is we want use provided exchange rate to convert the amount from once currency to the other currency.
Alternatively I am studying the functionality of "Value Variable" and found that I can perform the task from this. I have created the value variable but when I am using the variable in Report Painter columns as "&ZVALVAR", system is giving me error. I read the help and it states that use the variable with "&" and do it as it is mentioned.
Can anybody suggest what I need to do to make it workable.
    Thanks

I did try using the presentation variable, but that does not work too. I am setting session variable in the dashboard prompt (select 'request variable'). When I use presentation variable, it hard codes the value of the variable name.
    sql is
    select date from work_order where facility = @{p_facility}
    the physical log sql is
select date from work_order where facility = 'p_facility'

  • Columns in Report S_ALR_87013533

In the Report S_ALR_87013533 Costs: Plan/Actual/Commitment/Rem.Plan/Assigned
We have following columns in the report,
Plan: values which we plan in CJR2 or CJ40
Actual: comes from the Goods Receipt or Invoice
Commitment: Open PO value (for which we don't post GR)
    Remaining Order Plan: ?
    Assigned: ?
Available: Plan - (Actual + Commitment)
What is the equation for Remaining order plan and Assigned columns
    Thank you

    Ramesh Thanks for the reply
    Actually I believe that
Available: Plan - (Actual + Commitment)
    However you mentioned
Remaining order value: "planned costs" - "actual cost" - "commitments"
I want to know what is the difference between the above two?
    Thank you

  • How RONA (CallsRONAToHalf) Calculated in ICM reports

    Dear All,
Please any one advise me how RONA calls Calculated in the ICM reports.
As per my understanding Number of calls that have been Redirected On NoAnswer in the half-hour interval which is routed to agent phone.
apart from this agent ring no answer, anywhere else the RONA Calculated (Like queue to IVR or sending the call to IVR and queuing back to skill group).
We have ICM 7.2.5 with IPIVR. when we pull the Call type reports, we can see CallsRONAToHalf  shows 20 to 25 calls per day in per call type. When we manually monitoring the agnets in the floor and agents are not missing single calls. but reports show RONA 20 to 25 per call type.
Please advise which are  the condition RONA calls Calculated?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Naveen.S

I would dig into the database of ICM and UCM to get down to the root of the problem.
    1. In the TCD look for a call with the RONA call disosition and find out which agent it went to.
    2. In UCM log match that the call was actually answered by the agent.
If you do the above and find the information that supports that there was no RONA, then you need to talk to Cisco you might have yourself a bug.  However, if you can't find the call in the UCM logs, then more than likely your agents are doing something or one of your agents is doing something you're missing.  I've never had problems with RONA, it has always been spot on when reporting an agent letting the call roll by.

    Hi,
This type of question is almost impossible to answer over a forum .
You need to work with your business to understand what these requirements mean in terms of data modelling and relationships between object entities.
    - Some of these metrics should be delegated to source, and calculated in the update routines to your datatargets (aka Cubes/Tables)
    - Others could be resolved in the semantic layer (Universe)
    - Other will be calculated in the presentation layer as local formulae or variables.
whilst BusinessObjects is a fairly intuitive tool, it may be unreasonble to expect a new learner to deliver an advanced report with conditional formatting.

  • How Achieve timedseries calculations with out using AGO And ToDate function

    Hi,,
    1)
How Achieve timedseries calculations with out using AGO And ToDate functionion
this question asking in interview ..is it possible..?
if yes please response as soon as possible..
    2) i have 2 cloumns Product and value...
client requirement is they need ranks based on Value ..in dashboard .using dashboard prompt..edit box...if user enter any number (ex :5 ) report should show top 5 ranks if he enter 20 should be top 20 ranks..
    how to achive this ?
    thanks,
    raj

    Consider yor first question:
    1. Yes, we can create timeseries measures without using AGO and TODATE
    1. Create ALIAS of fact tabe in the physical layer
    2. Join the Time id from the ALIAS fact table with the YAGO_MONTH_ID column from your time dimension table (For calculating Year Ago variants) similarly join with MAGO_MONTH_ID column for Month Ago measures.
3.Pull the ALIAS tables as an additional Logical table source in the Lgical layer
4.Keep the mapping of the columns from the ALIAS table as its is
    5. For e.g If you pick Revenue from the Year Ago Alias table it will give you the "Prior Year Revenue"
    See if this helps you

  • Report S_ALR_87013533 not showing Network activity

    Hi,
Our client user has created a Network activity (2410247/DLIA). However he is unable to see the same in the report S_ALR_87013533. I have checked the dates and work centers that have been assigned under this activity; everything seems to be fine.
Can you please guide me how to resolve this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Hari

    Hi Shrikanth,
Thanks for your response. We have noticed that costs were not calculated for the network. Now the activitiy is showing up on the report S_ALR_87013533.
    Thank you,

  • How is YTD calculated in bex ?

we have a requirement to calculate YTD for revenue in a report. Just want to understand if YTD is always the current year restricted to KF or we need to consider the value from the user like 0fiscper and adjust YTD, as per the user input. I mean for example if user enter input 002.2013, then the YTD will have 2013 value or still 2014 value because YTD is current year to date.
My reporting requirement is as below. red are colmns.
customer           YTD revenue              Feb 2013 ( user input value- revnue will be fetch based on user input).
But YTD will be always for current year right ? Does it depend on the user requirement ? Should I ask user or its generic, Please confirm.
    Thanks
    DR

The reason I put this thread is to find out how is YTD calculated normally in a report. Will it be always the current year data to be displayed or it depends on the requirement. Hope you would have handled YTD in your reports, can you please clarify.
Anyways' thanks a lot Anshu and Suman. You guys are experts and always provide prompt respone to me. and provide different approaches even on weekends. I appreciate it. Have awarded you guys full points. I will try your approach on monday will post you questions. I got the clear picture to display text for column heading and restrict 0fiscper for the data column. Will try YTD after you confirm or more inputs from the user.
    Thank You once again.

  • Commitments at activity level in report S_ALR_87013533 - Plan/Actual/Commit

    Hi All,
When i executed the report S_ALR_87013533 - Plan/Actual/Commitment/Rem.Plan/Assigned, the commitments are shown at WBS level but not at activity level. Is there any setting required to see the commitments at the activity level?
Where as the planned costs are shown against the activity in the same report.
Please suggest the required settings if any?
    Regards,
    Ramana.

    HI Rifaee/Martina,
In CJI5 the line items are shown under the WBS. But i would like to see the line items in the report.
Even after running the report cjen the database is not updated for line itemwise commitment in the report.
How to assign the PR/PO as account assignments to activity? Where do i need to do this setting? Please inform.
    Regards,

  • Report region columns constrained to 4000 chars?   Hitting LOV problems.

    Hi all,
I've hit a problem that I'm hoping will have a simple answer.
    Quick overview of issue:
APEX 3.01 application running against a 10gR2 DB.
We have an LOV defined that works just fine on various forms but in report regions where the LOV is available via a drop down column value in the report region HTML table we are hitting the error:
    report error:
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
Some judicious debugging reveals that this seems to be because we are trying to load in more than 4000 characters into the LOV drop down in the report regions HTML table column (it's a moderately large LOV)..
This suggests that the default column type in a report region HTML table is VARCHAR2 and thus that there is a default 4000 character limit on any such column values, would that be a fair assumption? I know that the actual report row size always used to be limited to a total of 32k but this limit is a new one to me.
If there is such a limit, does anyone have any suggestions on how to work-around it i.e. is it possible to redefine report region column values to be other datatypes/dimensions or should we be looking at using an alternative such as a pop-up instead?
    Many thanks.

    Hi Scott,
Okay, what we have is a fairly simple Dynamic Page with two report regions (both standard type of 'SQL Query'). The second report region is the one causing us the headache. The column headings are set to 'Custom' but apart from that everything seems as it should be.
The following query populates an HTML table being generated in the second report region (problem line in bold):
    SELECT apex_item.hidden(7,task_id)||
apex_item.select_list_from_lov(1, estimate_type, 'TASKSMK', NULL, 'YES', 0,'** Select Task **',NULL, NULL) as "Task Type",
    '<img src="/i/themes/aqa/required.gif" alt="Required Field" tabindex="999" />'||apex_item.text(2, description,30,4000,'required="true"') as "Work Item(s)",
dbms_lob.substr(apex_item.select_list_from_lov_xl(3, username, 'PEOPLE', NULL, 'YES', 0, '** Select Resource **', NULL, NULL),4000) as "Resource",
    apex_item.text(4, days,5,5) as "Days",
    apex_item.text(5, start_date,11,11) as "target Start (dd-mon-yyyy)",
    apex_item.text(6, NVL(end_date,ADD_MONTHS(start_date,1)),11,11) as "Target End (DD-MON-YYYY)",
    rownum link
    FROM
    (SELECT t.task_id,
    e.estimate_type,
    t.description,
    t.username ,
    t.days,
    t.start_date,
    t.end_date
    FROM estimate e, task t
    WHERE e.project_project_id = TO_NUMBER(:F172_PROJECT_ID)
    AND e.active_yn = 'Y'
    -- and t.days > 0
    AND t.ese_id = e.id
    --AND e.creation_date = (SELECT MAX(ei.creation_date) FROM estimate ei WHERE ei.project_project_id = e.project_project_id AND ei.active_yn = 'N')
    UNION ALL
    SELECT 0 task_id,
    0 estimate_type,
    NULL description,
    '0' username,
    NULL days,
    sysdate start_date,
    ADD_MONTHS(sysdate,1) end_date
    FROM dual
    CONNECT BY LEVEL < = TO_NUMBER(:P19_ROWS_CNT))
All appears well until the number of values being returned in the second LOV (retrieved by the apex_item.select_list_from_lov_xl) exceeds 4000 characters and then we get the error first detailed. The substr around the function isn't usually present, it was added during the debugging, if I allow one more character than the 4000 or remove the substr completely then I get the error again. If the same function is used to retrieve the LOV on a normal Dynamic Form field then all is well, it only seems to have a problem when present in the HTML table being generated.
Are we doing something silly here?
    Thanks.

  • How is COGS calculated?

    Hello,
In the Sales Quotation UI we can go to Form Settings and add COGS column to the grid UI. This COGS is a calculated field. How is it calculated and when the user enters a value in this column which database table/column gets updated?
    Thanks,
    Sheetal

    Hi Sheeta Pisolkar
The COGS is calculated depending on what you are using. You can either use FIFO, Moving Average or Standerd cost. I'll explain the first two as that is the most used.
When selling a particular item, moving average looks at all the prices you paid for that item and then gets an average. Example, yesterday i buy XYZ for 100, today i buy another XYZ for 200. Then when i sell it it will use an average of 150.
FIFO stands for First In First Out. If you have serial numbers on it uses the cost linked to that item. If not it is purely First In First Out.
SBO does not store these values, it calculates it at run time. Once you invoice it the value is stored in oinm.
    Hope this helps

Environment: Oracle APEX 4.0  -  Interactive Report - Table Column header Filter Issue
We have developed an interactive report using Oracle APEX 4.0, which contains a record count of around 3,000 Rows. All the rows values are unique in nature. When we try to filter the same with the help of column header filter option available in the interactive report,We get only 1000 records.

    Krish,
Interactive report has hard coded limit to display 1000 rows of column filter LOV for performance. Unfortunately, the limit cannot be changed. The workaround is to define a Column Filter LOV for the column instead of using "Default Based on Column Type".

  • Sorting on columns with templated Report -- Named Column (row template)

    Hi forum,
I'm trying to duplicate a regular report's column sorting functionality in a "Named Column" report.
The column headers are in the "Before first and after last row text" "Before Rows" area of the template :
    <th onClick="sortByColumn('#REGION_ID#',5)">Frequency</th>invoking this javascript:
    function sortByColumn(regionId,colNo) {
         var u = "f?p=124:401:&SESSION.:fsp_sort_" + colNo + "::RP&fsp_region_id="+regionId.substring(1);
           document.location.href=u;
}I'd like to sort descending when a user clicks the column again, and to display the column sort arrows (up/down).
However, since sorting is persisted per user, even when the page's cache is cleared, it would be necessary to pick up the sort column and order (ascending, descending) on page load or query it later using ajax, so that the sort display (the arrows) stays in synch with the actual sort.
Has anyone got an idea how to do this?
    Cheers
