Problemes de formats des data!

Bonjour,
je m'appelle Andreas et je traveil avec la carte d'acquisition DIO 6533.
Mon application est la suivante:
J'ai un data x qui est connecte sur le SCB68 line 0/port 0!
En plus j'utilise l'exemple " Buffered Pattern Input.vi"! L'application marche tres bien, mais j'ai un problem
pour enregister mes data dans un file .bin!
C'est a dire: Je prends mes data qui viennent du "port data" du "DIO READ.vi" (c'est un tableau 1D)
est voila je dois les enregistrer byte par byte.
Pour instant je recoupere que des bits (a chaque trigger sur la carte je recois un bit au port data).
Mais je dois enregistres des bytes!
1.problem: comment peut -t- on creer un stream de bytes a partir des bits?
2. reellement il faut enr
egistrer des bytes dans un format HEX: C'est a dire--> exemple:
0011I1100 0000I1111 0101I1100 ......(byte stream sans des tabs, et des EOLs)
C I 3 0 I F A I 3 ......(hex byte stream sans tabs et des EOLs)ce data stream est le but pour
l'enregistrement dans un fichier bin.
Aurriez - vous des exemples pour la programation ou aurriez -vous des vi's necessaire pour resoudre mon problem!

Problem with date format using date picker

In my application I provide to user ability to change date format. When using "MMM dd yyyy" format, the date picker paste to the inputbox something like "1111 07 2008" instead of "Nov 07 2008".
To set the date format I use the following code:
wdContext.nodeDateNode().getNodeInfo().getAttribute("date").getModifiableSimpleType().setFormat("MMM dd yyyy");
I know that is known bug of date picker. But there should be other way to implement this functionality. Isn't it?

Format of date and numbers

Hi,
in Italy the format of date is DD/MM/YYYY e the formato of numbers is NNN,DD (DD means Decimal).
I use Excel for IPAD but when I write for instance 28/03/2015 the field shows 03/28/2015, the same problem is for numbers where the comma and the dot are inverted.
How do I change the format of date and numbers?

The general format of the date is tied to the language...use US english, get US date formatting.
You may want to poke around in excel's settings. I know the desktop version allows you to alter the date formatting, but I'm not sure if the iPad app has that. Look for 'cell formatting' in the settings and see if it's alterable.
If not, you can try to make your template on a PC, then put that excel onto your iPad and see if it honors the cell formatting already in place.

How to avoid the split problem when uploading the data from csv file

              I have to upload data from the .csv file to my custom table , i have found a problem when uploading the data .
i am using the code as below , please suggest me what i have to do in this regard
      SPLIT wa_raw_csv AT ',' INTO
                wa_empdata_csv-status
                 wa_empdata_csv-userid
                 wa_empdata_csv-username
                 wa_empdata_csv-Title
                 wa_empdata_csv-department.
APPEND wa_empdata_csv TO itab.
in the flat file i can see for one of the record for the field Title as
Director, Finance - NAR............there by through my code the wa_empdata_csv-Title is getting splited data as "Director, and Department field is getting Finance - NAR" , i can see that even though " Director, Finance - NAR" is one word it is getting split .
.......which is the problem iam facing.Please could any body let me know how in this case i should handle in my code that this word
"Director,Finance - NAR"   wil not be split into two words.

Hi Madhuri,
Best way to avoid such problem is to use TAB delimited file instead of comma separated data. Generally TAB does not appear in data.
If you are generating the file, use tab instead of comma.
If you cannot modify the format of file and data length in file is fixed character, you will need to define the structure and then move data in fixed length structure.

Formatting a date that is inserted into a text object

The on-line documentation for inserting a date into a form letter instructs a user to insert a Print Date into a text object. To format the date, the user is instructed to double-click on the date object and then right click and select Format {Print Date} from the menu.
This works when using Crystal Reports 2008 without any service packs.
However, after installing SP1, this feature no longer works. The Format {Print Date} is grayed out and not available for selection.
I am using VISTA Enterprise.
Are there any reasonable reasons why this functionality was removed with SP1.

However, it is still a work around.
I hope someone within the Crystal Reports organization sees this post and either provides an explaination as to why SP1 does not allow you to directly edit a field or that someone realizes that this is a bug and starts the process of providing a fix.
By the way, I duplicated the problem on both VISTA and XP machines.

Pulling my hair out: Change format from date to number format?

I was recently sent a formatted Excel spreadsheet in which to enter my own numbers. The format is date and duration, but the last column is the total number of hours and minutes converted into decimals, e.g. 3hrs. 30mins. = 3.5 hours.
It was going fine until last night when I tried to enter 5:73 as a number, not a duration, but Numbers keeps changing it to 6m 13s. I've tried changing the format from Duration to Number but although the cell will say 0:00, when I enter the number 5:73 it automatically switches back.
The weird thing is that it's only happening on about one-third of the cells. I even cut-and-pasted a section of the spreadsheet that didn't have this problem, cleared the contents and then typed my info into the same lines and rows and it's still doing the same thing.
How can I see the hidden formatting in Numbers cells to see if I can figure what needs to be changed?

dragging on bottom right corner but all that does is increase the range, not the size of the actual cell itself.
Hover the cursor over the right of a column (Column B in this example) until the cursor becomes a cross with arrows pointing East and West. Drag right to widen the column.
Or use the Format Panel > Table > Row & Column Size
(You may have to drag the panel up to see this)
I really miss in Numbers is being able to edit cell contents in a formula bar.
Here is the formula bar in Numbers 3.2 after clicking twice on a cell
The formula bar is moveable. Hover over the left of the bar until the cursor changes to a 'hand' and you can drag it.
Resize the formula bar by hovering over any edge and drag
Tricky with a trackpad, easier with a mouse .
Also, the cell contents appear at bottom left of the Numbers window
If you prefer Numbers 2.3, I agree it is much more user-friendly version.

Problem in accessing HTML data

Hi Frens,
I m getting some html data from my servlet. But From Server
it is sending the data in html format. There, It is sending the
data in CDATA format. Here I get some problem in displaying the
data in Flex. I have following questions:
1. How can I parse that XML data into HTML data, Since that
data comes from many mail servers, I don't have idea, whether they
are properly formatted or not. I am getting this data in xml
format. How can i convert it back to HTML format?
2. The 2nd Problem is that it may contain some images also,
So will component is suitable for me to display the data? Example
is a mail, If it has some html data, along with images. Which
component is suitable for this?

If I knew a data service was returning HTML to me, I would
use resultFormat="text" and just accept the data as-is. Then you
can assign it to the htmlText property of a TextArea.
The Flash Player has limited HTML capabilities. It can
display images using the <img> HTML tag.
Depending on your needs you might want to look at Apollo
which has an HTML UI component which can display real, complete
HTML.

Problem in Formatting Total Column in Classic Table

I am using Classic Table.
I am able to format the column data but i am unable to format the column total value. I searched in forum and tryed something like in the following thread..

since i am using Classic Tables i am unable to do it.
I also tried the following

Formating xml data

am importing xml from a xml attribute and storing it as a
string. I am then loading it into a dynamic text box with render as
html on. The problem is formating only part of the data in the
dynamic text field as Italics or bold. I'm unable to put any
<>brackets inside the xml attribute so that it would then
render in the dynamic text field as html. I've tried using entities
and decimal equivalents as a substitute for the html mark up with
no success. How do I formate the xml node attribute with italics
and bold.
Example

<slideNode titlezText="This the
<i>Title</i>"></slideNode>
</slides>
This wont display. How do I italicize the word "title" when
it is inputed into a dynamic text field.

Thanks, the problem is I was trying to add the html mark up
to a xml node attribute, but it appears as tho I will have to make
this information from the node attribute be put in a new node
instead.

When formatting a date field in a where clause the template put dot instead of comma

Hello to Headstart Workers !
In a query find block the template construct a where clause, in some cases, and i dont know when the template is formatting a date field putting a dot instead of a comma.
Ex.: to_date('19-01-2001'.'DD-MM-YYYY')
Anybody knows why or where the template do this.

- We created it using the HS utilities.
- "nls_numeric_character = ,.".
- it onky happen when the field date is not the first field in the where clause.
- i can see the problem just after pressing find button, already in the ls_block in last_query.
- the find_query works normally but cannot edit any line in ls_block.

Report Problem. Sort by Date?

Hello all.
I simply need to column sort by date, the problem is that the date needs a format mask.
So I obviously do the following:
SELECT to_char(SYSDATE, 'DD/MM/YYYY') FROM dual
The problem is, it uses it as a CHAR.
If I do
SELECT to_date(to_char(SYSDATE, 'DD/MM/YYYY'),'DD/MM/YYYY') FROM dual
It removes the format mask, any ideas?

Hi Sam,
as Mike suggested, go to the "Column Attributes" of your report column and set the property "Number / Date Format" to DD/MM/YYYY
In your SQL statement you just select the date column without any type conversion.
What does it do?
For the sorting, the Oracle database can do the sorting with the original date type. So you will get the correct ordering and after APEX has read the value it will apply the defined format mask and display it the way you like it. So APEX will do the TO_CHAR for you.

If you are actually creating a BDC to load data pls be more specific.
Data format incorrect. Tab delimited/ etc
Dates in wrong formats
Currency incorrect formats
Missing screens
Wrong transaction code
File not found,
Missing Mandatory fields,
Screen resoultion.
You should always use refresh for your Bdcdata table.
Loop at internal table.
refresh Bdcdata.

Facing problem in formatting

m having pavilion dv6 6186tx laptop, m facing problem in formatting my lappy i had ordered windows 7 cd ( the genuine OS which was allotted to my lappy by hp ) from HP, i received 3 cd's 2 of my OS and 1 for the drivers, when i start formatting my lappy with the cd's things were fine, first i inserted OS cd's one by one then it ask for the driver cd and i inserted it then the data from the cd's were copied on the disk and all the cd's were back with me then any window with a message appear on the screen saying "Recover preparation is completed & now the installation phase will begin "(snapshot of the message window is shown below) then my lappy restarted and the installation of the OS & the drivers begin, there were two progress bars on the software installation window the first or the above one must be for the individual software's and the second one must be for the over all progress. So now my installation begin every thing was going well until there comes a point where my system just got paused up, the progress stopped of both the progress bars and no further operations were caried out(snapshot os this situation is shown below) i.e my os is not installed, i tried to install my OS many times but the same problem was occurring again and again PLEASE SUGGEST SOME SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM.....

i had also tried keeping my lappy in the same situation for 3-4 hrs but no change .
The reason for formatting was that my lappy was not shutting down properly i.e. even after shutting it down the led's of the wifi button, power button, light of the touch pad were on and finally I had to shut it down forcefully that means by pressing the power 4 few seconds. I thought there might b some drivers issue so I should format my lappy one & set all the settings to its factory condition that y i thought of fromatting and this happened.

When trying to upload adobe connect 7 license to the adobe connect 7 configuration wizard. the problem occurs because my server was install on Arabic Saudi Arabia date format while installation, but if i change the windows date format to US then the problem still occurs, and formatting windows is not possible, could anybody help??

No i am not on host mode, a have installed it deferent times ago successfully, but the only problem now is that during the installation windows server 2008 the default language, time and date. Was set Arabic Saudi Arabia. And even changing it does not solve the problem, as i mentioned above.

I have a problem in formatting cells in Excel while using OLE method.
My requirement is to have certain fields of a cell as text and amount fields should be in number format.
How to format a cell in Excel in OLE method of downloading data to excel.
For example I have plant field whose value is 0002 in internal table while coming to excel it is showing as 2 .
I want that field to be shown as 0002.(text format)
Material field whose value in internal table is 000000000000000051 is shown as 51 which has to be shown as
000000000000000051.(text format).
Amount field should be in number format so that totalling is possible .
So I need some cells in text format and some in number format.
Please suggest a sloution.
