Problems activating imported objects in QA Int.directory

   I had my XI Dev config objects exported and was able to import them using IB in the XI QA environment.
I made the specific settings in the comm channel for the QA environment - when I go to the "change lists" tab in the QA ID, under the XI 3.0 import list - I see the config objects that I had imported from dev environment.
Now , I pick up one of the config objects ( one of the business systems in the QA env ) to activate, I get an activation error - <b>Unable to move object - Change lists were not part of the same import</b>
I get the same error when I try to activate all imported config objects in one shot.
What am I  missing here ?

   I managed to solve this problem.
Before activating the imported QA config objects, I had created some new receiver determn objects in the QA ID,and these got stored under "Standard change list"
After this, I made changes to the comm channel defn that I imported from DEV and set it to the QA environment.
Then going to the activating tab,I tried to import the changes under the imported change list - XI 3.0 import. I got the error message that I originally described in this thread.
Now, I reject changes under change list "Standard change list" - then activate the changes under "XI 3.0 import" first, it goes through ok. Then, I created the new recv determinations that I wanted and was able to activate them successfully too !!!
