Problems in my Local BPEL Server--Urgent!!!!

Hi All,
I have deployed a process in my Local BPEL Server which basically picks a fixed length file from the FTP directory using FTP Adapter, transforms it using a Native Format XSD into an XML file and writes it to a local directory using File Adapter.
I have used the Batching Feature in the FTP Adapter configuration to send messages to BPEL in batches of 1.
Now the problem here is the file is not getting picked up and the server is writing massively into the logs and within a matter of 5-10 mins, the size of the domain.log file reaches around 500 MB. The log file says that, the process endlessly creates batch indexes and also fails in Native Format Translation.
Even i undeployed the process, stopped and restarted the Local BPEL Server but it didn't help. I even restarted my machine.
Whenever i start the BPEL Server, it loads all the processes in the Default Domain and then it starts writing into the logs even though the above process is undeployed. Please find below a portion of the logs that the server writes.

I am clueless about why the BPEL Server is behaving strangely.
If anybody has faced a similar scenario then please let me know ASAP as i am not able to move forward due to this issue.
Thanks In Advance,
Dibya

Hi,
To get around this problem i uninstalled my Oracle BPEL PM and once again re-installed it. Now it is working fine as i took the back up of all the processes.
But is it a limitation in BPEL wherein the number of processes running on the server cannot exceed a certain value.
Please let me know your inputs on it.
Thanks,
Dibya

  • How to invoke a service on a server other than local bpel server?

    Hi,
    Im trying to invoke a service on a server other than the local bpel server thats installed by default. Any pointers to how this can be achieved? My jedevelper does not show "Bpel process Manager server" under the connections navigator and hence I cannot create a new connection to a different server(other than the default one). Appreciate yr help.
    Thanks,
    -L

    If you only want to just invoke the service, you dont need a new connection.
    Cant you just point to the wsdl of the service in the partnerlink ?
    If you need a new connection in jdeveloper to the other server, you first need to make the new applicationserver connection and after that the integrationserver connection.
    After this you can connect to an other bpelserver, besides the default.

  • I have problem with the BPEL server caching the jar file of Instance

    Is there any way to undeploy and redeploy a process where you have changes to the underlying DA, without the BEPL server being restarted. This always works in my Local BPEL server in my Laptop. But when deploying in the hosted BPEL enviroment it becomes a big problem in getting it restarted when ever I MAKE changes.
    Is there any other way to disable the Cache of the instance and make it use the newer version uploaded. One more thing if the connection to a database is severed, then the DA will not work until the server is restarted. All the instances using the said connection is failing with either "Invalid Datatype" or "Socket Read exception". Can someone help!!
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    have you tried to kill the session of the DA in the database?

  • How can one invoke a WebLogic EJB from a BPEL Server hosted on OC4J?

    How can one invoke a WebLogic EJB from a BPEL Server hosted on OC4J?
    Reason I ask is I keep getting this error:
    javax.naming.NoInitialContextException: Cannot instantiate cla
    ss: weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory [Root exception is java.lang.ClassNotF
    oundException: weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory]
    Note: I am using <bpelx:exec> as a way to execute some java program.
    Essentially my java client (essentially an EJB client hosted on Oc4J) needs access to wlclient.jar since it needs access to weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory. I have a EJB client running on BPEL server hosted on Oc4J that needs to access some EJBs hosted on weblogic.
    Where do I place this wlclient.jar so that BPEL PM can start peacefully and at runtime discover the InitialContextFactory classes?
    Placing it in the j2ee/home/applib doesn't solve the problem. The server fails to start up if I do this
    I tried placing it in BPEL-INF\lib directory ...
    I still get the same exception...see below for exception dump
    I verified the BPEL suitcase, and it in fact does contain the jar file wlclient.jar
    integration\orabpel\domains\default\deploy contains the bpel_BPELProcess2_1.0.jar file and snapshot of that is as follows:
    <PRE>
    &#9474; bpel.xml
    &#9474; BPELProcess2.bpel
    &#9474; BPELProcess2.jpr
    &#9474; BPELProcess2.wsdl

    &#9474;
    &#9492;&#9472;&#9472;&#9472;output
    bpel_BPELProcess2_1.0.jar
    </PRE>
    I tried using the BPEL-INF\jar directory...Is this something the obant automatically detects? or do I have to modify the build.xml? I created this directory and let Jdev deploy to local BPEL server->default domain handle it
    #####################3
    I even tried copying the wlclient.jar to
    integration\orabpel\system\classes but this doesn't help since the BPEL PM fails to start if I explode this jar into this directory.
    In short,where do I place the wlclient.jar so that this exception can be contained.
    I edited the build.xml to point to the jar, that too didn't work, unless I made some mistake in the file
    <bpelc classpath="${basedir}/BPEL-INF/classes;${home}/system/classes;${home}/lib/j2ee_1.3.01.jar;${basedir}/BPEL-INF/jar/wlclient.jar" input="${basedir}/bpel.xml" rev="${rev}" deploy="${deploy}" />

              env.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, getInitialContextFactory());
              env.put(Context.PROVIDER_URL, getProviderUrl());
              if (getUrlPkgPrefixes() != null && !getUrlPkgPrefixes().equals(""))
                  env.put(Context.URL_PKG_PREFIXES, getUrlPkgPrefixes());
              System.out.println("    " + getInitialContextFactory());
              System.out.println("    " + getProviderUrl());
              System.out.println("    " + getUrlPkgPrefixes());
              System.out.println("    " + getEjbName());
              // Get a naming context
              context = new InitialContext(env);
               Object ms  = context.lookup(getEjbName());
              MyEJBHome home = (MyEJBHome ) PortableRemoteObject.narrow(ms, MyEJBHome.class);
              myEjb = home.create();
              return myEjb.getDefaultName();
          } catch (RemoteException re){
              System.out.println(re.getCause().getMessage());
          catch (Exception ex) {
              ex.printStackTrace();
          return null; //if unable to resolve the context factory etc...
        }

    I did exactly as you suggested. I edited the application.xml and added this
    <library path="C:\ArcGIS\test\bea\wlclient.jar"/>
    I didn't add weblogic because the needed classes were all in wlclient.jar
    I also edited the BASE_OB_CLASSPATH to include this jar.
    Here is the result when I just start BPEL PM Server. Somehow BPEL PM doesn't like to have wlclient.jar in its classpath during startup.

  • Accesso to Apache Local Web Server Problem

    Hi, i have a problem related to the set up of Apache Local Web Server on Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5.
    I have correctly installed Apache (2.2.24) php (5.3.26) and MySql (5.5.22) but during the web access i get this message: 403 Forbidden and in the error_log i see this:
    [Tue Nov 05 18:55:19 2013] [error] [client 10.202.145.171] client denied by server configuration: /Users/marcopuccetti/Sites/drupal-7.12
    Before this i have modified the configuration of httpd.conf (DocumentRoot) file in order to point the Sites folder "Users/username/sites"; The same for users configuration file.
    I have also enabled the Web Sharing properties in the System Preferences Section.
    Have i to do any other settings?
    Thank you!
    Marco

    Now it works, but i still don't understand why The directory "Sites" has to be named Only UpperCase.

  • Apache2 local web server + Perl 5 + mysql problem

    this problem has been bugging me for some months; it's stopping me developing on my new MBP.
    I cannot connect to mysql 5.0.45 database when web sharing w/ Apache2 with either Perl 5.8 & Activeperl 5.10 cgi scripts on Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.2 & 10.5.3
    Although I can connect to the mysql DB when running the Perl scripts from the command line.
    The problem only occurs on my local web server in Mac OS X 10.5.2 & 10.5.3.
    On my old development Mac running 10.3 the code runs fine, as it also does on my remote site.
    server error log: Can't locate DBD/mysql.pm . . .
    I suspect there is a problem somewhere between Apache2, Perl & MySQL.
    Please advise.

    I've got the same problem but It sounds like I've gotten farther. I was forced to do an emergency move of some Perl and PHP sites to 10.5.4 when our 10.4 web server refused to authenticate to AD anymore...
    Leopard's Apache/Perl support is terrible. There is not click to add option anymore so you have to manually set up mod_perl. No big deal but the first sign that there isn't reasonable support.
    The bigger issue is that Apple's Perl will not compile some modules.. namely DBD::mysql.
    Normally you'd use "cpan" to install the modules you need. The core module for connecting to a mysql database is DBD.. specifically DBD::mysql
    You should be able to run "cpan" or "cpanp" [cpan plus] to get a cpan interactive prompt. At this point you should be able to compile DBD by issuing either of the following:
    "install DBD::mysql" or
    "install Module DBD::mysql"
    I've tried this on two installs of OS X Server and that module (and others) will not compile on either system. One of my servers had been set up as a Wiki server before but the other had not been running any web services before I started using it as a test bed for my site move. (BTW these sites are unavailable until I can move them).
    There is another bug (noted on mysql's site) with Apple's version of cpan. If you try to add some modules, cpan will report that it needs to install a new, full version of Perl. The recommendation is to not do this, but rather force the install.. "install f DBD::mysql"
    Forcing the install is a questionable idea but it doesn't work anyway.
    I eventually did install perl 5.0.10 on the system in /usr/ and that does allow me to compile the needed Perl mods. However, the global @INC path has the old Perl paths listed so my perl CGIs will not use the new perl install.
    I'm sorry I don't have a solution. Hopefully my troubleshooting will elicit some more feedback.
    steven.

    Does anybody how to connect to MYSQL from the terminal? Thanks.

    Your biggest 'issue' right now is that your mysqld process is stopping on you -- making a connection impossible.
    Why it's bombing might be in a log .. try in mysql/data/usr.local.err .. and fix why itsbombing.
    To connect to it it'll be : mysql -u root -ppassword -D database

  • Problems w/config AP1200 - WPA Enterprise/Local RADIUS Server

    I have been attempting to reconfigure a AP1200 in our lab environment from using static WEP keys to WPA/TKIP. I can make the solution work with WPA-PSK, but not enterprise. I believe I have everything configured correctly but cannot "validate identity" on the client. Below are the details to my configuration.
    SSID: labssid (Open authentication with EAP)
    Cipher: TKIP
    Key management: Mandatory (WPA)
    I have a Cisco ACS server but am attempting to get this running intially using the local RADIUS server on the Access Point. I have a user defined locally called "test" with a password of "test".
    I am using an IBM ThinkPad T43 with the built-in wireless (Intel PRO/Wireless 2915ABG NIC) for testing. I have the "Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings" checked so I am using the inherant Windows configuration screens. However, I have also attempted to use the IBM NIC configuration utility and receive the same failures. I have the client device configured as follows:
    1. Network authentication: WPA
    2. Data encryption: TKIP
    3. Authentication: Protected EAP (PEAP) (only option other than smartcard, cert.)
    3a. (PROPERTIES) - AuthMethod: Secured Password (EAP-MSCHAP v2)
    4. Authenticate as computer whe computer information is avail (UNCHECKED)
    5. Authenticate as guest when user or computer is unavailable (UNCHECKED)
    When I attempt to provide my test/test credientials the Access Point logs the following:
    Station 0016.6f77.9ccd Authentication failed
    When I look at the Local RADIUS server stats, for each authentication failure the following stat is recorded:
    "Unknown EAP Type"
    If I try to authenticate 5 times, there will be 5 Unknown EAP Type stats logged.
    What am I missing?

    I didn't realize the local RADIUS couldn't do PEAP. That makes sense now, as in testing I decided to point the AP at my ACS server and was able to authenticate. I'm having an issue authenticating at times because it seems the AP looses it's connection TO the ACS server. The Access Point logs the following:
    1. Station 0016.6f77.9ccd Authentication failed
    2. RADIUS server 192.168.102.82:1645,1646 has returned.
    3. RADIUS server 192.168.102.82:1645,1646 is not responding.
    The "not responding" and "returned" logs are recorded at the exact same time period. In my most recent case, it was "Aug 31 18:19:36.981". Both have that time stamp. It's as if the AP looses some heartbeat to the RADIUS server and doesn't check to see if it's alive until a certain interval. When I'm not able to authenticate, if I log into the ACS and manually "restart" the services through the GUI, I authenticate right away. I'm thinking this is an ACS issue not an AP issue, but am wondering if anyone else has ever noticed this behavior.

  • Problem invoking from a BPEL process webservice client

    I have a BPEL Synchronous process that invokes a webservice deployed on Tomcat. The process executes without any exception when I run it from the BPEL Console. Since I want to execute the BPEL process as a command line operation, I created a BPEL Process Webservice client from scratch using Axis as described in Tutorial7 - InvokingBPELProcesses.pdf. However when I try to execute the client, I get the following error:
    AxisFault

    faultSubcode:
    faultString: Dispatcher send error.
    An error occurred while sending a batch message to the dispatch queue. The exception is: Failed to create &quot;java:comp/env/ejb/local/DispatcherLocalBean&quot; bean; exception reported is: &quot;javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: ejb/local/DispatcherLocalBean not found in startup_war&#xd;

    Can someone please tell me what is it I am doing wrong?

    I was using
    Oracle BPEL Server version 2.0
    Build: 2004.06.17.14.40
    Build time: Thu Jun 17 14:40:58 PDT 2004
    However, I downloaded the latest version of the Process Manager and did not face the same problem.

  • Previewing on local testing server

    When previewing a file in the Dreamweaver development
    environment, Dreamweaver loads the file, say testfile.html, in the
    browser with its file system address, eg
    file://Applications/MAMP/htdocs/jsMath/test/testfile.html. However,
    the local website address of this file is
    http://localhost:8888/jsMath/test/testfile.html.
    This leads to a security error
    Security Error: Content at
    file:///Applications/MAMP/htdocs/jsMath/test/testfile.html may not
    load data from
    http://localhost:8888/jsMath/plugins/autoload.js.
    The problem can be circumvented by avoiding the Dreamweaver
    preview and hand-loading the file directly as
    http://localhost:8888/jsMath/test/testfile.html
    Surely the preview feature must not be bound by this
    restriction. What might be done to get preview to work properly
    with this local testing server?

    You need to define the testing server correctly in your site
    definition.
    In your case, the Testing server folder field should be set
    to
    Applications/MAMP/htdocs/jsMath/test/ and the URL prefix to
    http://localhost:8888/jsMath/test/.

  • Login settings will not update the local testing server files

    When uploading to web server from local testing server, changing login settings in the control panel does not update the local testing server Restrict Access to page files. Causing login on website not to function.
    It does however update the Connections file and the login wizard form.
    What is the best way to change login settings before uploading site to web server?
    Thanks
    Dan

    Dan - I am having the same exact problem. I'm using the restrict access and user registration and login - when attempting to use the Update Record wizard to allow users to change their password or email address, it doesn't change the record.

  • Root-relative links & local testing server

    Yesterday I figured out that I'd have to use root-relative links in an included SSI file so that it would work from both templates and pages in my main directory (or other directories, for that matter), e.g., 'src=/image/picture.jpg'. However, since my site is PHP, in order to test the pages or even to use Live View, I have to make use of a "testing server". I did this without much trouble using a package called EasyPHP, which sets up a local web server as well as the PHP module, MySQL support, etc. This all works very well.
    The problem is that, in order to support several web sites, I have to use a "virtual directory" spec to direct the web server to the correct location for my site's files. In the setup for the testing server, I therefore have to specify a URL prefix such as 'http://localhost/corinthian' for this particular site. That has worked previously, but breaks when using root-relative links since the server sees the "root" as being the main "localhost" directory instead of "localhost/corinthian". So now my SSI doesn't display correctly because it's not being resolved to the correct directories.
    I don't think that this is fixable unless someone else has run into it and can think of some gimmick I could try. Anyone? Breaking out some of my code into an SSI has definitely been more of a challenge than I expected!

    I use 1&1 Internet as my hosting service. They apparently have my site set up in a virtual directory / virtual host fashion. Going to http://corinthian241.org, the root directory for root-relative links would have to be the directory pointed to by the URL. However, running phpinfo.php on the site shows the following result for $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']: '/kunden/homepages/29/d246935068/htdocs/corinthian'.
    So I'm pretty sure that a link from a page in my site home directory using this as a prefix would definitely not work, since the first "/" implies starting in the "corinthian" subdirectory -- not the real root of the server itself. Correct?
