Problems in using html Viewer control

Hi,
I am using a html viewer control .Depending on the organization, I have to display different pages of the same web application in the html viewer control .Now my problem is
if I display one page in my html viewer control ,its showing the same page again in the html viewer control ,even if i give different url in the show_url method of the html viewer control.
Any body knows how to solve this problem ?

Have you tried testing this with the SAPHTML_DEMO1 demo program and just keying in the URLs you want to display?... this demo uses the html_control->show_url method and if you run in debug you'll see it subsequently does a "call method cl_gui_cfw=>dispatch." to trigger the display of the new URL.

Integrated ITS issues in HTML Viewer Control related to applets

We are currently running on integrated ITS - WAS 7.0 kernel 90 at level SAPKB70010. We recently upgraded from a 46C environment that was utilizing external ITS. We also utilize the standard SAP CIC0 transaction (call center interaction center) that is essentially running the webgui service inside of html viewer controls inside of the SAPGUI.
Once we upgraded to the integrated ITS we have lost some functionality. It appears functions like exporting to spreadsheets from ALV grid, for example, no longer work in the CIC0.
Through some investigation, I can see that if I run the webgui service in an IE browser, the ALV grid export functionality will work, and makes use of applets.
If I run the same webgui service in an HTML viewer control (for example, by running thru program RSDEMO_HTML_VIEWER), I can see that the download will not work.
I'm aware the HTML viewer control has limitations, however this functionality worked fine for us when using the External ITS, and is important functionality for our CIC0 transaction. We are using the same version of SAPGUI (640) now we were using before.
Is anyone aware what has changed with Integrated ITS that would make this functionality no longer work in HTML viewer control? or possibly settings that might need adjusted?

Using Application View controls in Workshop

How can I access a JCA resource adapter in Workshop? The documentation suggests that
I create an Application View in WLI, then create a Workshop control that is associated
with it. However, the Workshop documentation says the following about using Application
View controls:
Note: In this release, the Application View control is supported only in the sample
workshop domain. In future versions, support will be provided for enabling the Application
View control in other domains.
What does this mean for support of this functionality in this release?

BIP report using HTML view in dashboard printing without scrollbars, parts

Have created BI Publisher report in the MS Word using Landscape page settings.The report is printing without scrollbars in the OBIEE Dashboard using HTML view.
Could not see the whole page output...have tried using resolution property settings in the dashboard configuration...havent found any solution.
Have tried to use MHTML but the logos are missing.
Any quick solution for the above will be very helpful.

1.) Auto Run is enabled. And the report runs automatically as well. But then it ignores the dashboard prompt (as a regular report would do as well). But when I choose some values in the prompt and then press go. Then it says I have to press on view as well.
2.) no that is not the case. My report is so big that it always need a scroll bar ;) also adjusting the size settings in the dashboard doesn't help. The only occurs when viewing in HTML, when previewing in excel or RTF it all just work fine.
3.) true, but ow well this is the least importetant one ;) so if this doesn't work, than it doesn't work ;)
4.) Ok, I will have a look on that.
5.) I did enabled HTML and EXCEL outputs in my BIP report. But when the first point is working, then I don't want to see the control bar anymore and I want to have the output on the dashboard in HTML and then I want to build a button, or a link or something that exports the request to excel. I passed through all the described problems in the list, and after doing several tests the error that you described is always present if the "jpcsclite_en_US.properties" is not present in the same place of the "jpcsclite.properties". I really don't know the reason, I just copied and pasted the same file, renamed the copy and the error was gone... though both of them include the line where the .dll is found!
That's how it worked for me, but if anybody knows how it works without that dirty trick, it would be good.

Scrolling in html viewer control

I placed a html viewer contol in my tab page.How to enable scrolling for html viewer control.Can anyone help me out in this ?

It should happen automatically... have a look at the demo program SAPHTML_DEMO1 and try going to, say, www.google.com and execute a search - you should see the scroll bar activate as the results page lenght is greated the control size.

In Internet Explorer, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced and ensure "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" is unchecked.
Default is to have that option checked.
It was considered a IE security issue that IE saves all content to temp disk location unencrypted, even those pages served by HTTPS (for example, let's say you use HTTPS to download your bank info, and it's stored to temp disk for someone else to retrieve later). So more recent versions of IE implemented that option setting.
How that option setting works is strange - it downloads the file, saves to disk, then deletes the copy from the disk immediately, before passing it to the application responsible for the MIME type. So the application tries to open a directory path to a non-existing file.
Issue is specific to IE, and it's not something you can control via the SDK.

Try to send some valid data in COMP_CODE.
It seems that SAP is returning some reply which is not fitting your response Schema.
SAP Call is made and problem is in generating response document.
Use the design console to test the view again. and try to see the XML resquest document and response document. Compare your request xml with that in design console.

Parameter Error using HTML Viewer

Report is executed from within my app. 1 customer is having an issue (other customers have no problem). The report has a parameter (string type). When the report is executed and the Parameter (using the HTML Viewer) tries to popup, it renders partway then pops up an error:

Any ideas? This hapens on 2 different machines for the customer. 1 machine just has the CR Runtime, the other has CR Professional installed.

Had the same issue with a machine that had Business Objects Enterprise XI R2 installed AND Crystal Report XI R2 installed (version 11.5.0.313). When creating a new report (or opening an existing report) in Crystal Reports that contained a parameter with a date field I get prompted with the parameter prompt screen, however there is "Business Objects" written below the prompt with a red circle with an X through it (within Crystal Reports Developer); when I try to click on the calendar icon to select the date I get a IE script error saying
"Unable to file object"
. The same issue occurs when viewing reports with date prompts in BusinessObjects Enterprise.
Resolution:
Traced the error to two different files that were corrupted / old versions:
C:\Program Files\Business Objects\common\3.5\crystalreportviewers115\prompting\css\promptengine_default.css (3Kb modified on 11/3/2004) with one from a working machine (5Kb modified on 01/23/2007)
C:\Program Files\Business Objects\common\3.5\crystalreportviewers115\prompting\js\promptengine_calendar.js(23Kb modified on 7/8/2005) with one from a working machine (27Kb modified on 01/29/2007)
Replacing those files allowed the html prompt page (prompting1.html) that is generated both by Enterprise and Crystal Reports to reference the correct js and css files above that contained the appropriate functions / formatting info to correctly display the prompt page.

Now my problem is that the view z is returning null as results in the prod and eff coloums.( well that is fine since i actually have no datas in my table against shift 'C') but inline views x and y are returning datas. but when i am selecting this -- SELECT X.MC_ID,

Character format changed when using html view

Hi all,
I have a form for book entering. There are fields for book name, an url adress of book and a html view to display this adress. Before adding html view to my form, there is no problem of entering fields. After adding html view, I can't enter some characters to this fields. Example I want to enter "yazılım" but while writing this word, it appears like "yaz 1l 1m" . If I delete html view, I can write correctly, reason is html view, but what is the solution? how can I correct it? can you please give an urgent response??

Hi i am trying to use Materialized View in my Vo, Sql+ i am able to run the View but i am not able to use the same view in View Object i am getting Invalid Table Name on Testing View Object.

EF4 Model Problems by using Oracle Views

Hi,
for some views in the EF-Model, I get the message "The table/view does not have a primary key defined and no valid primary key could be inferred. This table/view has been excluded. To use the entity, you will need to review your schema, add the correct keys, and uncomment it", but not for all views. Why?
I add a PK for the view like '("Id" PRIMARY KEY DISABLE NOVALIDATE, ...'--> then I get another Message, because the PK Field iin the view isn't NOT NULL, but "Id" has the value of the row number. What can I do now?

To shutdown the Database is no problem. When i first make the shutdown of the DB and then shutdown the server, there is no problem. Just when i wan't to shutdown the server without shutting down DB the error is here.
No entry in Eventlog about oracle......

BRUSH: Angle Jitter- Direction problem when using Rotate View

(Photoshop CS5 Extended, MAC OSX) When using the brush tool(with angle jitter set to Direction), an error pops up when also rotating view. As long as the canvas is at its default orientation(ie, rotate view tool has not been used), the brush paints along its path appropriately. If I've rotated the view, however, each instance of the brush's preset/tip does not adjust for the new orientation of the canvas. (note: this was not an issue in CS4)
eg: if the brush's preset looks like this (a small horizontal dash):
- when painting as I've described, it should follow a straight line like this (and does, as long as I have not used the Rotate View tool): ------------------------ however, if Rotate View is used to rotate the canvas by 90 degrees, it instead paints like this: IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII Actual Screenshots: Brush Presets:
