Problems of connecting mySQL to jboss 4.0.3

hi friends,
I have the problem of bounding jdbc to jboss.
i just want to create a data source for mySQL in JBOSS 4.0.3 application server and i want to access that datasource from my session bean while deploying it, it gives a warning:

When i open up my jsp page it gives this error:

Connecting to mySQL using JBoss 4.0.3.
1) Download this connector from sql website: http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/j/3.1.html
2) open up and copy mysql-connector-java-bin.jar in C:\jboss\server\default\lib
3) Do not copy the mysql-connector-java-bin-g.jar into the jboss lib folder. Do check it out
4) Next go to your jboss and: C:\jboss\docs\examples\jca and copy the mssql-ds.xml into c:jboss\server\default\deploy
5) Edit the mssql-ds.xml as shown below:

    MySQL is Runing good ...
    the problem is that you must reset the defaultDS,
    to be Mysql.
    So,Jboss must have only one DefaultDS,

  • Problem to connect to mysql from servlet using a javabean

    Hi,
    I'm new here and beginner on java to.
    I have problem to connect to MySql database, by a connection javabean.
    It's the following: a HTML page calls a servlet and this servlet imports the package connection javabean.
    It has no problem when I establish the connection inside the servlet, with all its methods (public and private). But i want to separate the code connection from servlet.
    Detail: there is no problem, using the javabean to connect to MS Access database.
    I put "mysql-connector-java-3.1.12-bin.jar" file inside WEB-INF/lib application and common/lib directories.
    I set the classpath:
    SET CLASSPATH=%CATALINA_HOME%\COMMON\LIB\mysql-connector-java-3.1.12-bin.jar;%CLASSPATH%
    I think that the servlet cannot create an instance of javabean, because passed by catch exception of the servlet init method.
    But I don't know why.
    Please Why?

    HTTP 404 is a "Page not found" error. The request URL is simply wrong. Either there's a typo in the URL, or there is a typo in the servlet mapping, or the servlet is not there where you think.

  • Problem on connect to two servers with SSL

    Hey all!
    I've got a problem with connecting to two different servers via SSL in one Application. Every Connection works fine on its one via SSL.
    But if i try to initialize a new connection it fails every time.
    My thought is that the problem is the DriverManager. I'm not quite sure how this DriverManager works, but what i know is that it's a single-ton Class and with that maybe stores some parameters from the first connection which didn't get reloaded when trying to make a new connection.
    Here's the way i create the connection ..

    Yep, it's the standard authentication failure message. (The error code is 1045).
    The Exception which is thrown is a SQLException with the message:
    Access denied for user 'username'@'p54BB743D.dip.t-dialin.net' (using password: YES)
    errorcode: 1045
    The code i'm using runs well with one connection and even with multiple connections as long as not more than one connection are using SSL.
    To explain:
    The user has the possibility to run the application with a user defined data-source (the connection). You can add a new connection and the application will then add a tabbed pane with the same gui but uses the other data source then.
    This runs fine with multiple connections (I managed to work on 3 differen intranet servers and 2 different servers online, one of them using SSL)
    So all together 5 Connections. Now i wanted to add a 6th server with SSL two and thats the point where it crashes. (Both SSL Servers run perfect on their own with my application - only both together doesnt work).
    About that: Class.forName, yes i'm using it every time when i make a new Connection. This is wrong? Could you explain why?

    I tried username and password in database link with double quotes also.
    11) Now Finally when I try to select records from mysql table:
    select count(*) from "table"@"test"; -- I have tried with and without double quotes
    I get the following error:
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-28500: connection from ORACLE to a non-Oracle system returned this message:

    How to get through this error, and how to check logs for HS?

    Hi,
    In your listener.ora for the DG4ODBC entry you had -
    (ENVS=LD_LIBRARY_PATH = /usr/local/lib:/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/lib)
    but this should also include the path for the driver manager directory which in your case is /usr/lib64 so could you add this ?
    The error -
    Failed to load ODBC library symbol: /usr/lib64/libmyodbc3.so(SQLSetDescRec)
    indicates the /usr/lib64 directory cannot be accessed.
    The entry should then look like -
    (SID_DESC =
    <space>(PROGRAM = dg4odbc)
    <space>(ORACLE_HOME = /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1)

    The spaces may have bene lost when posting but there should be at least one space in the file as indicated by the <space>.
    After making the change then stop and start the listener.
    If you still have problems then please post again the current versions of the configuration files, the full errors shown in SQLPLUS for a select and the output from a debug trace showing the errors.
    The information shows you are using the 3.51 MySQL ODBC driver so could you also try with the latest version of the 5.1 driver and see if you have the same problem ?

  • Connect Mysql And Eclipse c++

    i trying to connect mysql database and eclipse c++ and i set everything but when i want to compile a program using data base this error massage appears:
    "fatal error:boost/shared_ptr.hpp: no such file or directory"
    how can i fix it, there is no solution on the internet, and i really really really tired of searching about this.

    It's not clear if you understand my question.
    Will you do me the favor of looking at your screen and tell me if there is a simple in front of any of the includes? Do you have a question mark "?" or any other error indicating that it can't find the include?

    i see it is dont compile and i see these errors:
    - Description Resource Path Location Type
    fatal error: boost/shared_ptr.hpp: No such file or directory Working line 31, external location: D:\Programs\Programming\MySQL\Connector C++\include\mysql_connection.h C/C++ Problem
    i don't know why i cant connect mysql to eclipse. i tried to connect it more and more (at least 1 month)

    I have problem to connect from SAP to XI.  We have existing SAP R/3 (IS-H) and we newly installed XI. We decided to use ABAP proxy to send data from SAP to XI. When I go to SPROXY system showing ‘No Connection to Integration Builder’. Please kindly advice what configuration we need to in SAP side in order to connect XI.

    Hi,
    I have a problem with connecting and syncing my Iphone to itunes.
    iphone alone on PC -> uploading files (fotos) is possible
    itunes starts normaly, if iphone is not conected.
    if i connect iphone after starting itunes, or if i start itunes after connecting iphone i get an itunes-error with message:

    i test different things...
    - used another USB-port
    - used another PC
    - used macbook of my wife instead PC

    In this context, that can sometimes indicate trouble with a content file on the phone (or Touch).
    Do you have any podcasts stored on the iPhone at the moment? If so, if you delete them from the phone, can you connect to iTunes without the error?

    i can see and manage documents in iCloud. i can create them on iPad and  see them and delete them in iCloud.
    But not on iMac.
    i dont know what has happened and I am not abble to find the solution. It was OK till some days ago….

  • I have problem to connect iChat. Sometime work and some time not working. When it was not working, there was a message on screen and said the mobile be server was not working. I needed to turn off computer and restarted the computer. Then it might. work

    To whom it may help,
           I use my iChat to do video chat with my granddaughter. I used to do iChat without any problem to connect with her in New York. However, After Mobil Me account closed, I accounted connection problems frequently. Sometime, I had to turn-off my computer then re-started the computer to make it work again. . When I had this problem to connect on iChat (the Mac did not allow me to choose "available"), the poped out window message said that " the iChat lost the Mobil Me account [email protected]" "The server connection was unexplected disconnect". Do you know what is my problem? My Apple ID for iCloud and previous Mobil Me account should be [email protected] I am no longer using [email protected] for Mobil Me e-mail address. My current iCloud e-mail address is [email protected] is no longer of using [email protected] account for my e-mail. If this is the problem, please let me know how to remove the [email protected] account from your system. Thanks!
