Problems using - EPP RTK for Java

Hello, I'm having problems using the EPP RTK for Java, I've got the message below:
java.io.IOException: No ssl props location specified

Hi SAP gurus,
Some of the PC's in our company use windows and some LINUX. Therefore we use two types of SAP GUI. One for windows and the other one JAVA. PO approval was set to print automatically. In a windows setting, there are no problems with this setup. But in SAP GUI for JAVA, no print outs are produced and no error messages are displayed. I am using SAP GUI for JAVA version 7.10 ver 6. and I use Front end printing for linux access method G.

A big Transparent Container(TC)....
Inside that number of other TCs(depending upon the question nd its replies...)....
In side each TC, again around 9 UIElements....
one for menioning what is the question/reply?
other for your description of question/reply...
other for your name,
displaing your fourm point... etc...
So it will be
for(loop till your (Question+No of replies))
Create Transparent Container....
Add Childs to the Container...
Decide your layout....

Commenting a Line in ABAP Editor when using SAP GUI for java

In ABAP editor we can highlight the line which are to be comment and use cmd+< sign to comment those lines. What will be the command to be used to achieve the same functionality when using SAP GUI for JAVA on an iMac.

please check with SAP GUI for Java 7.20 rev 5 before submitting a bug report.
Also please verify, that cmd-< and cmd-> are not assigned as "Keyboard Shortcuts" in the "Keyboard" control panel of "System Preferences".
Bug reports can be submitted with the [SAP Message Wizard|http://service.sap.com/message], for SAP GUI for Java please use component BC-FES-JAV.

Use vCloud SDK for Java to integrate with vCD 5.6

Hello Folks,
         Newbie here.
         I have a situation where a home grown app, that uses vCloud SDK for Java to invoke a vCloud Director 5.1 installation. We use this for powering on/ off a few VMs.
         Our installation is being upgraded from vCloud Director 5.1 to 5.6.
         My question is, are we expected to upgrade/ carry out any code changes to our current implementation to integrate with the newer runtime version (5.6)?

Somewhat going from memory here.
As long as the REST API Versions URL states that it is compatible with 5.1, then you should be fine to make the calls as v5.1.
Here is the section of the documentation for that:
Using the vCloud API with vCloud Director
The I think the SDKs are just wrappers in a manner of speaking. They all eventually translate code (java/python/etc) into a REST API system that is sent into vCloud Director via the API. For the most part, I think it'll work.
That's not talking about "support", just that it should work with some exceptions. I don't know if there is an official stance on cross compatibility like this.

Problems with JNDI lookup for java:comp/env/ejb

The problem is now, that the lookup for "java:comp/env/ejb" doesn't work

To figure out what's actually happening during lookup I debugged a little bit and
tried a few things:
1. A lookup for "java:comp" works fine. It returns an instance of class FlatMapContext
which consists of a hash map which itself contains an entry for "env".
2. So a lookup for "env" on that FlatMapContext also works and returns an instance of SubContext.
3. A lookup for "ejb" using this SubContext causes a NameNotFoundException
with message "java:comp/env/ejb not found".
4. A lookup like con.lookup( "java:comp/env" ) throws also a NameNotFoundException
with message "java:comp/env not found (not inside a J2EE module, for instance a Web-App,
EJB, or Application-Client)".
Does anyone know something about this?

Great! 9.0.4 will be released in june/july this year, right? Sorry for my ironical reaction, but does that mean, that I don't have any chance to get my whole stuff running in 9.0.3? I cannot believe that. Isn't there a wordaround I could apply? A setting or whatever to substitute the daft FlatCtx by something else that is implemented according to the spec?

Creating Sales Order using Web Dynpro for java

I am new to Web Dynpro for java. I have developed an application for creating a sales order using adaptive RFC Model using BAPI. It's working fine when i create a single order. I wanna create SO with more than one line item. I have used the Table UI Element to do so. But i could not able to enter the 2nd item details. Please suggest me how to pass more than one line item from the Table UI element.

If the BAPI Contains Output values in R/3 side.
I mean to say if BAPI contains 4 line items.u can get thru wdjava the followinf way.
1. Create webdynpro application.
2.Import the model.
3.Create Customcontroller and model binding .
4. Write the execute method in controller.

Have a problem using flex ui with Java application

Hi, I have a built a Flex UI for a java project. The UI has
some forms which use a servlet for POST and data populated from
servlet. I have used HTTP service to make the calls. I have built
my application i.e UI in Flex Builder and when I run my application
from flex builder everything works fine i.e data populated
correctly..
But when I open the projects folder and run the html file
generated the Http Service does not happen. Can anybody tell me why
is this so?? . Moreover I want use this UI for my already existing
java project. So what all files (i,e. html, mxml, swf) will be
required to be copied to my java project for the UI to work ..

I was writing code to use the OWB APIs for Java:
I have imported the folowing files:

when jvm tries to get instance of Repositary Manger by the following code

I have checked my OWB and Java environment but I cant locate com/objectspace/jgl.jar file. Can some one tell me were this jar is located in so i can import it.

Either use some criteria you develop related to one of the keys on the table or use some sort of record limiting method.
Note the method of limiting will vary related to the database you are using. You will have to look at the documentation.
For example I am told this will work in MySQL to get 200 records starting at record 100.
SELECT * FROM myTable ORDER BY whatever ASC LIMIT 100,200
Because you are running out of memroy I assume the table is large,
I am not sure what the impact of the above will have on performance because if in the above if the order by is not based on an index at the server level all the records will be selected and sorted before the records are limited.
I would make sure you have an appropriate index.
If you use the advanced search over the user forums using "resultset paging" and possibility the database you are using you should be able to get some ideas.

Make sure DBCA is calling the java under $ORACLE_HOME not from other installation.

Problems using multiple joins for search

I am new to dreamweaver and coding and I am battling to get my head around joining tables and using multiple joins to create a search result recordset.
I have a the following tables setup;
Venues table
venueID
name
category (text)
city
provinceID (numeric)
country
maxcapacity
Province table
provinceID
province (text)
Category Table
categoryID
category (text)
Max Conference Table
conferencefacilitiesID
venueID
maxcapacity
I am passing the search $_POST variables via a form and displaying it in a results page.
I have successfully done the search using only one table the problem results in using multiple joins. I cam not sure of the syntax to use but have successfully created the results page, using the outer join to link the province, category and maxcapacity to the venues table. Not all the venues have conferencing so I think need to use outer join for conferencing.
I can't seem to access the search and not sure if I can use the WHERE command to set varialbe 'category' = varCategory
Below is my code which doesn't work;

Problems with Disc Permissions for Java Virtual Machine

hi,
My machine (10.6.6) crashed. I had the spinning beach ball.
Force Quit and On/Off did nothing.
I needed to unplug and remove the battery to restart.
After that, I did Repair Disk Permissions.
It finds a bunch of things for Java Virtual Machine/1.6.0/jdk
It says it fixes it.
But if I reboot and and run Repair Disk Permissions again,
it still finds the same problems.
How do I get it fixed?

these permission errors are normal. There's nothing to be worried about. If you search around (you did search around first, right?) you'll find that most, if not all, Snow Leopard users see these messages.

Problem using application client for local stateful session bean

I have deployed a local stateful session bean in Sun J2EE 1.4 application server.
On running the applclient for the stateful session bean application client i get the following error:
Warning: ACC006: No application client descriptor defined for: [null]
cant we use application client for local stateful session beans. becoz the application runs smoothly when i changed the stateful sesion bean to remote.

No, an ejb that exposes a local view can only be accessed by an ejb or web component packaged within the same application. Parameters and return values for invocations through the ejb local view are passed by reference instead of by value. That can't work for an application client since it's running in a separate JVM.
