Problems with client.jar - generated from webservices toolkit from JDK 1.1.7
We have deployed a web application using the webservices in WL 6.1 using JDK 1.3.1.
The clients were able to successfully access the servlet it generated and download
the client.jar. Unfortunately this client.jar seems to be dependent on JDK 1.2
and beyond. It seems to use java.util.Map class in the JNDI-SOAP SPI.
Is there any workaround or fix to this problem, so this jar can be used from a
JDK 1.1.7 env?.
Our objective is to use WL 6.1 EJB's from WL 4.5.1 using Webservices. Are there
any known problems with this approach (Ofcourse other than this).
Thank you.

Problem with program hanging randomly on certain commands from win 7 pro client to SB Server
Having a problem with program hanging randomly on certain commands from Win-7 Pro Client to SB Server Both 64-Bit
Five other slower XP-Pro 32 Bit systems though they are older and slower systems do not seem to hang as readily if at all.
It has been very frustrating as the Client-System, SB-Server and Program should work w/o any hitches, but this seems to work fine @ times and then hang randomly.
Would appreciate any and all suggestions in assisting.... JimBAgde-MSSYou can try this, as I have had similar problems with another MS Access .MDB file and slow access before. This fixed my problem for me. On the slow computer, make sure the program is set to see the .mdb file via UNC path, not a mapped drive letter. ex.

URGENT ! JDEV 10.1.2 Problem with data control generated from session bean
I got a problem with data control generated from session bean which return a collection of data transfer object.
The dto's seem to be correct. The session bean load correctly the data into and the object's are plenty of data. Using the console to display the dto content is ok.
When generating a data control from this session bean and associate the dto included in the collection only the first object level and one-to-one dto object are correctly setted in the data control. Object that represent collection into the dto (one-to-many foreign key) are setted as collection with an iterator but the structure of the object is not setted. I don't know how to associate this second level of collection with the dto bean class to obtain the attributes definition.
I created a case with hr schema like the hrApp demo application in the tutorial with departments and employees table. I got the same problem.
Is it a bug ?
It exists a workaround to force the data control to understand the collection data structure ?
Help is welcome ! this is urgent !!!we found the problem by assigning the child dto bean class to the node representing the iterator in the xml file corresponding to the master dto.

Performance problem with ojdbc14.jar
Hi,
We are having performance problem with ojdbc14.jar in selecting and updating (batch updates) entries in a table. The queries are taking minutes to execute. The same java code works fine with classes12.zip ans queries taking sub seconds to execute.
We have Oracle 9.2.0.5 Database Server and I have downloaded the ojdbc14.jar from Oracle site for the same. Tried executing the java code from windows 2000, Sun Solaris and Opteron machines and having the same problem.
Does any one know a solution to this problem? I also tried ojdbc14.jar meant for Oracle 10g, that did not help.
Please help.
Thanks
YuvaMy code is doing some thing which might be working well with classes12.zip and which does not work well with ojdbc14.jar? Any general suggestions to make the code better, especially for batch updates.
But for selecting a row from the table, I am using index columns in the where cluase. In the code using PreparedStatement, setting all the reuired fields. Here is the code. We have a huge index with 14 fields!!. All the parameters are for where clause.

Why that code works well for classes12.zip (comes back in around 10 msec) and not for ojdbc14.jar (comes back in 6-7 minutes)?
Please advise. -

Problem with protocol.jar with weblogic
atg10.0.3 and weblogic 11g on 64bit linux.
I've been plagued by this problem with ATG's protocol jar. While it loads the jar when starting up startWeblogic.sh it does not get loaded when starting a managed server thus i get the following errors:
**** Error Fri Jun 15 15:56:43 MDT 2012 1339797403444 / Unable to start service "/atg/scenario/ScenarioManager": atg.nucleus.ServiceException: The configuration file XMLFile(/atg/scenario/scenarioManager.xml) could not be read: java.net.MalformedURLException: unknown protocol: dynamosystemresource

The process manager has not been classified yet so it cannot be determined if global messages should be listened for. This error indicates a problem with component startup order - the /atg/scenario/ScenarioManager component has been started before the /atg/dynamo/messaging/MessagingManager component

Following instructions has led me to place the protocol.jar from DAS/lib to the root of my domain directory and then apply the classpath entry in startWeblogic.sh script. protocol.jar shows up at the top of this scripts SDTOUT. But I cannot seem to get it included in the production.out logs when starting the managed server.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
-KipYes I figured this out. The problem was the version of weblogic. I was using 1.3.6 when it should have been 1.3.5. After changing out the version, I no longer had problems with protocol.jar.
Thanks!

I am having a problem with signed jar and deploy in html
get this error on the page
self signed
/dist/testfx.html
JavaFX application could not launch due to system configuration. See java.com/javafx for troubleshooting information.Unsigned jar works perfectly but has security and permission issues when using classes.
This was working in beta 45Can you post an example project that demonstrates the problem? There were changes to the ant tasks and netbeans support around B45 that could cause problems depending on which version of the SDK and NetBeans you have. Similarly, if you wrote ant scripts prior to B44 and then use them with a later build you could have problems. And of course, if you're producing the Jar file and deployment artifacts without using the provided ant tasks (for example, using the normal ant jar task) you'll have problems.
I've verified that this works as expected in the FX 2.0 GA release using ant from the command line, and with the NetBeans 7.1 beta release using the FX 2.0 GA release. -
Problems with client site assignment
Hello,
previously I did not have problems with clients on my test computers, both have WinXP SP3. I am testing migration scenarios. One computer is virtual, one is real computer. After successful migration to Win7, I decided to make another test and changed state
of computers back to with WinXP installed, rejoined to domain, removed from SCCM, discovered again. And I pushed agent installation. Now both computers have problems, I see following in the LocationServices.log: "Failed to verify message. Sending MP [SCCMserver]
not in cached MPlist".
But agent was installed on both, has status Yes in the console, but Software Center is not installed.
Please help.Hi,
I did not find errors in the end of ccmsetup.log:

I think this is the problem with ciphers. So can anybody please help me with this!!!. This is very urgent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks in advance
NileshThanks for your prompt reply I was able to make it run. Actually I am using the same keystore and truststore at both the client and the server end. I added those properties in opmn.xml as startup parameters.
I have another query I am using JDev to create a client proxy for my webservice that is deployed in OC4J. I have setup OC4J in 2 way SSL (mutual authentication)
When I invoke my client proxy with these system properties set
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStore",keyStore);
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword", keyStorePassword);
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStore", trustStore);
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword",trustStorePassword);
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStoreType","JKS");
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStoreType","JKS");
I get an exception in the log.xml which is
<MSG_TEXT>IOException in ServerSocketAcceptHandler$AcceptHandlerHorse:run</MSG_TEXT>

Signing problems with ucf.jar
I've been trying to sign my extension with ucf.jar to make it possible to install the .zxp. I created a self-signed certificate using Keychain Access > Certificate Assistant in MacOSX and exported it to a .p12-file. When i try to build and sign the .zxp with:
java -jar ucf.jar -package -storetype PKCS12 -keystore certificate.p12 -storepass password myExtension.zxp -C "./myExtension/" .
i get the following stacktrace:
Packaging failed: Unknown or invalid signature algorithm.
java.security.GeneralSecurityException: Unknown or invalid signature algorithm.

Couldnt find anything about this in the sign-toolkit-pdf.Sorry to hear you've been having problems with this - the next release of the signing toolkit should hopefully make things easier.
For now, please try these two things:
Download the latest version of the signing toolkit (which includes UCF.jar) from here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/creativesuite/sdk/eula_cs6-signing-toolkit.html
Generate a P12 file using the keytool (e.g./usr/bin/keytool):keytool -genkey -alias ALIAS -keystore FILENAME.p12 -storepass PASSWORD -validity 3650 -keyalg RSA -keysize 2048 -storetype pkcs12
Please let me know how you get on.
Best wishes,

Can't compile client with client.jar
I am unable to compile a static client using the standard client.jar produced by
Weblogic. I am trying to do this in a minimal DOS environment as shown below:
set PATH=d:\jdk1.3.1\bin
set classpath=.;client.jar
javac OssNodeWeblogicClient.java
The compiler gives me the following error:
client.jar(com/nyiso/oss/ossnode/OssNode.java):2:
class OssNode is public, should be declared in a file named ossNode.java
(source unavailable)
1 error
I was surprised to find two java files in client.jar (OssNode.java and OssNodeFactory.java).
These files seem to confuse javac. If I remove these files from client.jar, the
compilation completes without errors and the client runs without any problems.
Has anyone seen this problem?Naresh,
Just a quick follow-up. I used the -verbose option with
javac and saw that when my compile failed, and I saw the same
error message that you saw, javac was pulling the .java file
from the jar file and trying to compile it. In the example I
did that worked, the javac compiler was pulling the .class file
from the jar file instead.
Basically the javac compiler will fail trying to compile
the .java file located in a jar file, probably because it can't
write the .class file to the same (compressed) location. The
reason that the javac compiler is trying to recompile the .java
file, even though the .class file is also in the jar file, is
that it has determined that the .java file is more up to date.
So two questions for WebLogic:
1) Why does WebLogic include the .java files in the jar
file?
2) Why doesn't the .java file match with the .class file?
I'll let you know if/when I hear more. Rob
