Problems with output using html2fo function

Hello,
I have a problem with output when using html2fo function.
My sample xml:

Can anybody explain why the rtf template output is different in pdf, rtf, excel ? It looks ok only in pdf.

Problem with dynamic LOV and function

I'm having a problem with a dynamic lov in APEX 3.0.1.00.08. Hope you can help me!
I have Report and Form application. On the Form page i have a Page Item (Popup Key LOV (Displays description, returns key value)).
When i submit the sql code in the 'List of vaules defention' box. I get the following message;
1 error has occurred
LOV query is invalid, a display and a return value are needed, the column names need to be different. If your query contains an in-line query, the first FROM clause in the SQL statement must not belong to the in-line query.
When i excecute the code below in TOAD or in the SQL Workshop it returns the values i want to see. But somehow APEX doesn't like the sql....

I just had the same problem when I used a function in a where clause.
I have a function that checks if the current user has acces or not (returning varchar 'Y' or 'N').
In where clause I have this:
where myFunction(:user, somePK) = 'Y'
It seems that when APEX checked if my query was valid, my function triggered and exception.
As Varad pointed out, check for exception that could be triggered by a null 'p2_dns_id'

There's nothing wrong with your code or tuxedo. tpcall (and tpgetrply) can change the address of the return buffer if it needs to allocate more memory to hold the data. This is the reason why you pass a pointer to the buffer as the output buffer parameter to tpcall and tpreturn. Everything is working as expected.

Hello everyone,
we are working on a student project and would like to create customers (debtors) in an SAP IDES system.
Using the ref-customer to copy from, and some personal-data below, we get the error message
'Internal error: External no.assignment for reference customer/customer'
We also tried with BAPI_CUSTOMER_GETINTNUMBER, and ACCOUNTGROUP ZINT (New Internet Customer, others won't work?). But CREATEFROMDATA1 takes no CustomerNo created this way, nor it wants to create one 'internal'?

Thanks for your pointer. Actually The customer's reference number i was providing in the PI_COPYREFERENCE structure was a sold-to party customer and it uses external customer number assignment. When i used "New Internet Customer" (that doesnt use external assignment by default) as customer's account group, the customer was created successfully and assigned customer number was returned.
I want to ask now how could we give a customer number in the BAPI as i am unable to find any such column in any of the tables. (Customer number is an "out" parameter so it can only return the number of created customer). Secondly, how to chnage the external assignment property of a particular account group (like sold-to party). i.e, how could we change the account group configurations through SAP GUI??

Problem with active noise cancellation function : ...

My nokia 6720 have problem with active noise cancellation function. It seem not working because it also have noise when this function is active. So, I try to disable this function and found that the noise is reduce (but still not clear). How do I correct this problem?

At first glance I would say "probably can be done using an FPGA as a target" since the FPGA can close a very fast loop.
But to do that with a microphone input on a PC running Windows...
I suspect that would be an exercise in futility.
Anyone out there been able to turn around a microphone input fast enough to something like this?

hey i have no idea why this aint working
its a simple output string to command.

What you fail to understand is that "aint working" and "Problem with output string to command" tells us absolutely squat about what your problem is. This is the same as saying to the doctor "I'm sick" and expecting him to cure you. As mentioned by Enceph you need to provide details. Do you get error messages? If so post the entire error and indicate the line of code it occurs on. Do you get incorrect output? Then post what output you get, what output you expect. The more effort you put into your question the more effort others will put in their replies. So until you can manage to execute a little common sense then the only responses you will get will be flames. Now is your tiny little brain able to comprehend that?

Problem with instantiation in static function

I have a problem with instatiation of objects in a static function. When I do something like this,

everything works fine, but when I try to do the same with a internally defined class, I get the error "non-static variable this cannot be referenced from a static context".
My code looks roughly like this:

The compiler complains with the mentioned error message over the creation of a new Edge object and I don't have the slightest clue why... :| When I put the class Edge into an external file, it works.
Can anyone help me out there?

Your class Edge is a member of the instance of the current class. You don't have an implicit instance of the current class (the "this" reference) in a static context, therefore you get the error.
You need to either declare Edge as static, move it outside your class, or create an explicit instance of the outer class which you use to create instances of Edge ("Edge e = new YourMainClass().new Edge()")

Problem with output from report to excel, calling the report from form 10g

Hi everyone, I'm having a problem generating a excel from a report, which is called from a form, I'm using Forms 10g. The problem is this: My report has a variable number of columns. These columns appear according to data obtained from the database, these columns are dates, In vesion 6 excel file generated shows the columns one after another starting in column A1 to column CP. I mean that the dates are correlative. But in version 10g the excel file generated shows the same report starting in column A to column T, only shows the 20 dates correlative corresponding to this columns, the rest of the dates are down the excel sheet in groups of 20 dates, it's something, the file in 6i grows across and in 10g grows down the excel sheet. The report (rdf file) is the same in 6i and 10g, I compiled the 6i version to obtain the 10g version. The excel sheet generated in 10g looks like the report was in pdf format, because PDF format, cuts the report in pages and the file grows down, if I generate the report in PDF format it has the same structure excel file in 10g has. I hope yo can help because I have days trying to solve this but I have no succes. If someone could help I could email the excel files generated in two versions. Here I put the code I use to generate the files in 6i and 10g. I have tried with DESFORMAT=SPREADSHEET in 10g but the result is the same. Thanks for your help. Greetings for all.

There are two problems with your VI. First, the basic logic of writing/appending to a file (Excel, TDMS, anything) should go something like this: Open the file, position yourself at the end of the file, then, in the loop, acquire data and write it to the file until you are finished with data acquisition. When you exit the acquire/write to file loop, then close the file. In particular, the opening and the closing of the file should not be inside the loop.
As others have pointed out, writing to Excel might not be optimal, particularly if you are acquiring data at a high rate (and would therefore be writing a lot of data). We actually use Excel in our data acquisition routine, mainly reading from a WorkSheet to get the parameters of a particular stimulus, but also writing the outcome of the response to the stimulus. As it happens, our "acquisition rate" in this example is on the order of several samples per minute, so there's no problem using Excel (we also sample 16 channels of analog data at 1 KHz -- this gets written as a binary file).
Second, if you really do want to use Excel, use the (existing) Excel file to which you want to append as the "template" argument of the New Report function. Then use the Excel Get Last Row function to position yourself at "end of file", as noted above.

Problem with bfilename(directory_name,file_name) function

Hi all,
I have a problem with this function. I have built and pl/sql program in order to send an email wich includes "pdf" file.
I have found that bfilename function works fine when you want to send a pdf file.
However, when I execute this query

The result shows in the screen : /usr/tmp//pdf_report.pdf (NoExist)
I don't know why the path includes double "//".
Then, I wanted to open the file in this way
bfile_len := dbms_lob.getlength(bfile_handle);
pos := 1;
dbms_lob.open(bfile_handle,dbms_lob.lob_readonly);
an error occurs :
ORA-22285: non-existent directory or file for GETLENGTH operation.
I infere that the problem is "//" but I don't know why it happened.
Can I use another function in order to send a pdf file inside an email ? Or can I change a blob type column in order to replace "/" insted of "//" ?.

I did what you told me but the error still appears.
I created my directory in the database. But when the program executed the line with the "fileopen sentence" the error appeared again.
I saw that the directory contained '//' instead of '/'. Can I use another function in order to send a pdf file inside an email ?

Problem with output in smart forms

Hi All,
I am getting some problem with the field list in smartforms. When i tried to drag and drop some fields its not allowing me drop in text editor. So i hard code some of the fields and some systems fields. But in ouput i am getting every thing like in the top its showing "Print Preview of page 001 of 007. Its showing all the Filed descriptions and every thing. But its displaying all the field values and system values as &wtab-vebln& &wtab-erdat& &wtab-ernam&

Untill end of loop for all pages. In the same way for each end of the page i am trying to print out &sy-pagno& but for evry page i am getting only the &sy-pagno& but not the page number.
When i debug the internal table itab is populated with the data.I dont know why the field list is not allowing me to drag and drop fields and when i hard code why i am getting output like that.
Some where i read that the we have to change in cofiguration of smartform in order to drag and drop is it right?
Suggest me how to correct this error.

You cannot drag&Drop the Fields into Text Editor ..
You have to do this in Graphical PC Editor (This will be the default editor Generally)
Otherwise you have to use the Icons INSERT FIELD(+) DELETE FIELD ( - )
On the Toolbar above the PC Editor.
Remember your field should be displayed with Gray shade. then only the Value of the Symbol is displayed. Otherwise it will be displaying the Symbol name as it is.
For page no You have to use the System field of Smartforms &SFSY-PAGE&
not &sy-pagno&.

Problem with output server service credentials

I am having a peculiar problem with regards into the output service starting. I created a username and password in AD for this service for one of our programs to use this to print. So I set this up and associated the service to use this account to login, but whenever I reboot the server the service never starts even though it is setup as auto, so I looked and in the login tab it has the username that I setup, but i always have to re type in the password to allow it to start.
Does anyone have any ideas about this and how to fix this problem that i am having?

Kindly use /XMII/Illuminator?service=logout
Illuminator has to be in same case as shown above and not in caps.
Further, this kind of error generally comes when you miss including some mode or service name in the URL.
Kindly recheck your URL that you are navigating to post logoff.
It should generally go to: http://<Server>:<Port>/XMII/Illuminator?service=Personalization

Problem with Generic datasource from function

I developed generic datasource from function module.
But I have problem with the select options.
First one is order number OBJECT_ID type char 10. When I input Object_ID = 45755 , no data selected.
When input 0000045755, one data record selected.
But I called functiion CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_INPUT to conevet the input data. And I found 45755 was converted to 0000045755, but no record selected.

i am using this function module "REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE" to develop a field catalog....but teh problem is that when i use this i_buffer_active and if a assign value 'X' to that parameter .......teh entire structure is not getting copied in to teh field catalog ...........and when i comment the line i_buffer active ........teh entire structure i sgetting copied ..........so can u guys please with ur valuable suggestion, the program name is RFITEMAP

Problems with Restoring using Migration Assistant

I'm trying to restore my files from time machine using Migration Assistant. I keep getting this message which I don't understand. Can anyone advice ? Thanks.
+NTFS-3G could not mount /dev/disk1 at Volumes/Untitled because the following problem occured: Error reading bootsector: Input/Output error. Failed to mount 'dev/rdisk1':Input/output error NTFS is either inconsitent or there is a hardware fault or its a SoftRAID/ FakeRAID hardware. In the first case run chdksk/f on Windows then reboot into Windows. The usage of the /f parameter is very important! f the device is a SoftRAID/ FakeRAID thenfirst activate it and mount a different device under the /dev/mapper/ directory, Ie.g. /dev/mapper/nvidia+eahaabcc1). Please see the 'dmraid' documentation for more details.+

I don't do Windoze, but that looks like you've backed-up a virtual machine via Time Machine, and there's a problem with it.
First question: why are you restoring, and why are you using +MIgration Assistant?+
If you want to restore everything from your backups, do a full system restore, per #14 in [Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions|http://web.me.com/pondini/Time_Machine/FAQ.html] (or use the link in *User Tips* at the top of this forum).
Most folks exclude those from Time Machine, and back them up separately.
Your best bet is to skip the contents of the folder they're in while running +MIgration Assistant+, then restore everything else in that folder selectively, via the "Star Wars" display. You may or may not be able to restore the vm file(s), but at least you should be able to get everything else that way.

When flash player is in fullscreen mode and first video file is finished next video starts to play, but there is no picture. If I close fullscreen mode and then go fullscreen again, everything is all right. I've met this problem only in such installation: LG 37LE5300 connected to Acer Veriton N282G with Nvidia NG ION video card via original HDMI 1.3 cable. Windows 7 32 bit, Nvidia display drivers 257,29. In another combination everything works fine.
So what can be a problem?
