Process does not seem to execute on Page 1

After the user authenticates and is taken to page 1 of the application, I want to set 4 session state variables. I am setting the variables with a pl/sql procedure call defined in the processes section of page 1.
The procedure call doesn't seem to execute. The session state values are not set and the procedure should be logging to a table and it is not. I'm going crazy trying to figure this out!! Any help is appreciated.
I have tried setting the procedure to execute with process point set to "On New Instance, After Authentication" and "On Load - Before Header". Nothing seems to work.

Have you tried running in Debug mode to see what events are happening? Or go to Page 1 and change the view to Events. That should give an idea of what's expected to run.
A solution might be to run the process in Page 1 on New Session: After Authentication, then only set the variables if one is currently null, so it doesn't run every time the user visits page 1. I've successfully used this technique in my magnum opus.
You can do that with a condition or write it directly into the PL/SQL process code.
For example:

JDO Query does not seem to be executed at all

I have the following JDO query and it returns empty collection but it
should return some records. I set "SQL=TRACE" in kodo.properties file and
traced the log file. This query does not seem to generate SQL statement
at all. Other JDO method generates SQL statements.

The iPod Touch kept trying to reboot yesterday but would only show the Apple logo screen then shut off - it finally drained the battery overnight I am guessing. Connected to USB the battery charging icon flashes.
Took it back to Best Buy, but they wouldn't touch it or replace it since it's under warranty.
To any potential buyers - beware. My best advice is to look somewhere besides Apple. Every Mac user I know has had to return a Mac, laptop, etc. Really poor quality control, and the retailers agree (Geek Squad told me they have had the same experience with Apple products).

Running Two Process together!!.. second process does not execute!!

Am trying to run two process continously.. taking outputs.. from first process as input for second!! But second process should occur when first process is completed!!.. as it is moving files created by first process!!

Do you know how many files it will create? Will it
t create all of them at once? Yes optimizer.exe creates 3 files at once..!!

Might be a caching issue. Have you tried different browsers or clearing your browser cache?

The copy and paste keyboard commands in the app are controlled by Flash Player, sometimes there are issues with a browser/OS combination, make sure that Flash Player is up to date and if that doesn't help try another web browser.

In large PDF files my cursor moves around the page at warp speed. It does not seem to make any difference if I slow it down with Sys Prefs. This is not only in preview but also other programs to open PDFs.

This happens in Safari, Preview and other programs that use PDF files. Sorry to say this does not seem to be a new problem with 7.# I've had it with prvevious versions of operating system Right now I'm using a Apple wireless mouse and key board. Using the USB keyboard and mouse the same problem does not go away.

This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.

Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you boot, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.

...Then you will only ever update records that have been checked. Unchecked checkboxes are not passed back in the global array. You need to have a hidden column with the ID's for the record and loop through that when you are updating/inserting. That is why the built in tabular form has a MRU and a MRD. the MRU loops through the hidden ID column. The MRD loops through the checkbox.

Blog summary does not seem to update online

I've just updated a blog I've created for a musician friend of mine; it's been done on iweb 3.0.2 & published via ftp using godaddy: http://lauramoodymusic.com/lmm/news/news.html
However, the main blog summary which is correct on iweb, and the version published to a local folder, is not updating online. The new blogs are visible if you go to the archive, and by clicking on the RSS feed, but not from this front page... I've tried to republish all the relevant pages again, manually, but this doesn't seem to have worked either.
Help urgently needed.

iTunes does not read the tags until you select/play a track. It stores the tag information in its library file and this will not reflect changes made to tags with an external editor until iTunes looks at the track.
You can force iTunes to re-read all the tags by selecting all the tracks in your library, right clicking in the selection and choosing get info.
It is essential that you do nothing except click "OK" as any change you make would be applied to every track in your library.
Depending on the size of your library iTunes may take a while to complete the task.
It is always advisable to have your library backed up in case you make a mistake.

Having a variety of crashes with the new version of Firefox. There does not seem to be a pattern

Several things have happened since the installation of the latest version of FireFox:
1. Intermittent opening of the browser from the desktop.
a) Opens in safe mode no problem provided shift key is used.
b) Opens sometimes and remains open
i) Sometimes page switches cause the browser to close
ii) Sometimes page switches continue as expected
c) Opens then closes a few seconds later
2. Intermittent opening of project pages from BOINC
a) Sometimes opens and allows browsing of the science projects website
b) Opens then immediately closes
c) Opens and page switches cause the browser to close
There does not seem to be a discernible pattern to what is going to happen each time the browser is opened.
The only crash report I have was submitted November 2010. I am not aware of any crash reports that have been generated for the current problems on my system.

My observation so far is that if you just type keywords, Mail wants to search everything. The reason for the missing results, I think, is because the email is not getting indexed properly. If you rebuild, then things get indexed correctly.
I tried your idea with the quote. Now, no matter what I type, I always get a set of options. But I cannot tell if that was enabled by the quote or if it was already going to do that, because now I don't need the quote to get a list of various options. The first, which I've always gotten is "message contains", but now I'm seeing subject suggestions and such.

The disk i am using is nextech and i am burning at the slowest speed (4x).

Link checker does not seem to see some broken links-why?

I have a problem with the link checker, it does not seem to report some broken links. Here is the context in which it happens.
My site root folder contains (subset) :
index.php
Templates/child_userarea.dwt
user-area/downloads.html
(The file downloads.html is based on child_userarea.dwt.)
In the template, I have <a href="../../index.php" title="Home page">Home</a>.
In downloads.html, this link appears as <a href="file:///M|/Website/index.php" title="Home page">Home</a>.
According to this post http://forums.adobe.com/message/934203#934203 by Murray, this is because Dreamweaver (CS4 in my case) thinks that index.php is outside the site root folder. I understand it thinks so because indeed ../../index.php points to the folder parent of the root folder. What I don't get is why doesn't the link checker report that ../../index.php does not exist? (And I'm sure it doesn't, there is no file called index.php outside the root folder.)

That's the thing, it is correct! I have checked many times. Here is what is says:
and M:\Website\CERC15\ does exist.
For the time being, I have corrected the paths in the template, so for that particular file, it is now ok. However, I have no idea whether other paths are wrong since I am not sure any longer whether they are spotted by the link checker. I searched for other instances of file:///M|/Website and there is none left.
I suspect this is just one more problem due to another problem non-identified so far (see e.g.http://forums.adobe.com/thread/506149?tstart=30). Since I renamed a big batch of files, I have had problems after problems: the templates disappearing (see that other post); I also lost all the files in 4 other folders (files for download linked to the pages through <a> tags); and Dreamweaver has become particularly slow (but this seems to have been fixed with erasing the cache and the personal preferences).
I'd like to start from scratch again (and why not reinstall Dreamweaver), but I don't know how to recreate the site from zero without loosing anything (e.g. links to templates).

XML Data Source: does not seem to validate against XSD

root element of "b-c.xml" from "<db>" to "<Customers>"; but Liquid Data does not
seem to care or validate the instance document against the XSD.
Is this a known bug? It's something very basic and obvious!

LD does indeed catch and report the mis-match at run-time as shown in the exception
below.
It does not valid the XML file against the schema at configuration time, only
at run-time. Hence Step 8 here - http://edocs/liquiddata/docs81/admin/xml.html#1035818
But beware - in some (most) cases LD does not do validation against the schema
for performance reasons. If the schema does not match you will simply get empty
results.
