Process flow of Depots

D Friends,
Can any body explain the following 2 processes:
1.     Complete process flow in case of Duty paid depots.
2.     Complete process flow in case of Non-Duty paid depots.
right from depots PO to sale from depot. Pls explain with T.Codes.
I again request to help as Iu2019m very new to CIN.
Thanks.

Hi,
The concept of Depot is in SAP treated as plant that it will be like a warehouse and not a manufacturing plant. From Depot goods will be sold to customer. Whenever the goods reach depot as well as leave the Depot it has to updated Depot Register.
In Depot Register Opening Balance and Closing Balance will be shown according to each day's sale.
We configure the excise for Depot by putting a check box mentioning as Depot. We do intracompany stock transfer using (UB) in ME21N where the manufacturing plant will be supplying plant and Depot Receiving Plant.
Once the Intracompany Stock transfer is created, the next step will be doing delivery and PGI.Now the stock removes from the unrestricted stock to stock in transit -- this is called two step procedure. This Stock in transit you can see in MB5T. Once delivery is created proforma invoice has to be created. This done in VF01 using F5.This done because to flow the excise values while doing Factory excise invoice in J1IIN.
The goods moves from factory to Depot and at Depot will do MIGO.Now Depot register can be updated during MIGO or individaully through trnasaction "J1IG" There is a transaction called J1IGA for tax exemption(non excise) cases to handle.
The Depot Register gets updated.
Here the Stock Transport Configuration has to be taken care. The Depot has to be created as customer for Manufacturing Plant and has to be assigned to Depot in Stock Configuration. You have to maintain excise indicator for this customer in customer master or in J1IID.
To sell from Depot .Normal Sales order processing(VA01).Delivery creation and PGI(Vl01N).DO J1IJ for Depot Outgoing excise.and finally billing(VF01). Here sometimes customer may put forward the requirement like customer has to be charged the same excise values when it left the factory. The only link is J1iJ here where we refer the factory excise invoice during depot excise posting with this link you can achieve the same if needed.

  • TAS and process flow

    Dear All,
We are trying to use TAS for existing imeplentation.
We are not able to assign load id to Sales Order manually even config settings are done for manual one.
Pls. guide whether the process flow is correct for this.
Create Load ID --> Assign to SO --> Creat Outbound Delviery --> Create Bulk Shipment --> Create Loading Confirmation --> Create Delviery Confirmation.
Information on SAP help and in PDF file of TAS is quite confusing.Process flow is not clear.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Vijay Mundke

    Hi Vijay,
the process can have different variantions, but the document you want to send to the tas system has to have the load-id assigned. The load-id triggers the tas relevance.
If you want to send the sales order to an external system, you need to assign the load-id to the sales order.
usually, the sales order is sent to a TPI system (transportation planning system) and the transportation system sends back the delivery and bulk shipment (idoc OILSHl). This means that this order goes to this truck. The shipment represents the truck on which the delivery is scheduled. Each document that is posted after-event is a function module (one for the delivery and one for the bulk shipment).
Then, you would send the bulk shipment to the terminal (refinery or depot). This means that a load-id needs to be assigned to the bulk shipment (idoc OILSHL). The TAS system receives the shipment and the loading must be done with reference to this shipment/load/id. Then, the TAS sends back the loading data (OILLDD), mainly the OILLDD file contains the reference, the material data, the load qty, the unit, the density, the temperature. The OILLDD idoc has many fields, but only a few are mandatory. I can send you a list of the mandatory fields if you can use it.
Then, the system posts the load confirmation automatically based on these data. depending on the set-up, you can either have the system post the load confirmation only or the load confirmation and the delivery confirmation. Both documents have standard function modules. I strongly recommend to use the standard function modules. They work. I have used them on several projects and all you need are some exits. If you post only the load confirmation, the delivery confirmation can be posted manually. If the customers are invoiced based on arrival quantities, the delivery confirmation can have different quantities (temperature can be quite different, especially in India). If invoicing is based on loaded quantities, you can post both the load and delivery confirmation with the same data or set up the customizing that a load confirmation will be the end of the process (based on the incoterm).
before, you can do the customizing, you need to check which processes you have. To know whether you have a shipment or a pick-up process triggers whether you should send a sales order or a shipment to the terminal. Most oil companies have their own fleet and deliver their fuel via a truck to the customer -> in this case, you need to send a bulk shipment to the terminal. But, often, the customers also pick-up the fuel at the refinery. Then, you only need a sales order and a delivery and goods issue is sufficient. However, if you need to manage the plate number at the refinery, you might want to process both of these variants via a bulk shipment. In all cases, the loadings will come back with an OILLDD idoc.
Depending on the answer to this question, you can set-up the tas relevance customizing. If you choose to send bulk shipments, you set up tas relevance for shipments. This defines simply in which cases a load-id is required in the shipment. Say you have 2 refineries which are represented in the transportation planning point (ref1 and Ref2). If only one refinery will have an automatic interface, you set up only that one to require a load-id. If you have several product groups (say Bitumen, white fuels) and some of them are automated (typically fuel) and other not (bitumen) and you have set them up as bulk shipment types, then you can further differentiate. Then, you need one load-id type for each process variation.
I like to use the following:
PU-ORDER (you send an order and the tas posts the delivery and goods issue)
SH-LC (you send a bulk shipment and the TAS posts the load confirmation only)
SH-LCDC (you send a bulk shipment and the TSA posts load and dlv confirmation)
SH-DC (the load confirmed shipment is sent to the arrival terminal and the arrival terminal sends back the delivery confirmation)
The most commonly used is the SH-LC.
After that, you call the control structures and the LID function groups the same name. (Types are A for pick-up, B for load confirmation and E for delivery confirmation). It makes the whole thing much clearer. Then, you just have to assign to each function group the inbound function modules of the standard.
Standard load confirmation for SH-LC for example and standard delivery confirmation for SH-DC.  I hope this helps.

  • Cannot deploy process flow package specification from file

    Hi,
we are using owb 11gr2 on linux. We successfully managed to deploy mappings and tables into a specification file, and then deploy from that file into the target database (RAC). But when we try to deploy a process flow package we run into an error:

    OMBDISCONNECT
    OMBCC '/KLINGEL_DWH'
OMBCONNECT CONTROL_CENTER $CONN_TARGET_RTI think you can try the same on different system .

  • A/R process flow with notice of readiness for shipment

    Hi,
I'm trying to implement the following A/R process flow:
    - sales order
    - xx% A/R down payment invoice
    - notice of readiness for shipment
    - incoming payment
    - delivery
    - A/R invoice (xx% down payment to be deducted here)
What's the best way to implement it?
    Thanks
    Fabio

    Hi,
no, it's something different. It is because we want to be paid before shipping anything.
    In more detail:
    - we request a certain amount of down payment after the order and before starting production
    - we request final payment before we deliver goods
    Thanks
    Fabio

    Dear James,
    Process Flow:
1)Determination of Requirements: Through MRP, purchase requisitions
2)Source Determination: helps you identify potential sources of supply, creating requests for quotation (RFQs
    3) Vendor Selection and Comparison of Quotations: The system is capable of simulating pricing scenarios
    4) Purchase Order Processing: information from the requisition and the quotation to help you create a purchase order. scheduling agreements and contracts are also supported.
    5) Purchase Order Follow-Up: The system checks the reminder periods you have specified. up-to-date status of all purchase requisitions, quotations, and purchase orders.
    6) Goods Receiving and Inventory Management: Goods Receiving personnel can confirm the receipt of goods simply by entering the Po number
    7) Invoice Verification: The system supports the checking and matching of invoices, and clearing invoices for payment.
Flow Chart for PO & MM process :
    RFQ (ME 41) --> Maintain Quotation ( ME 47) -> Price comparision ( ME 49)>
    -->Create PR ( ME 51 N) --> Create PO ( ME 21N) --->
    > Good Receipt  wrt PO( MIGO)> Invoice Verification wrt PO ( MIRO)
I hope this will suffice your need & if satisfied please reward points,

  • To check whether a process flow is valid or not

    Hi,
I want to check whether a OWB process flow is valid or not inside a PL/SQL block. Can anyone let me know about any repository table or view where I can check the process flow status.
    Regards,
    Poulose

Use display schedule job option from the context menu of the start variant of the process chain.
When u chick this.. u will get the available job on this start process.. There u can see whether the process chain in schedule mode or not?
If u can see multiple schedule then u can delete the older ones which are not needed and then u can maintain only one schedule job.
If u click twice.. then there are chances that u might end up with the 2 schedule job with the same time frame.. .. so check the same with the steps mentioned..... if u find two jobs then u need to delete one.. if not there might be chance that ur PC might get trigger twice.. and one trigger will gets failed. and the other one will gets executed..
    Thanks
I hope this is clear to u..

I'm Using Oracle Warehouse Builder 11g on Windows Server 2003 R1.
    Greetings and thanks.

What I've done in the past is just use a small polling procedure (PL/SQL) and a conditional transition in the process flow, depending on what the proc returns (Continue or Fail) then the flow of control in the Process is changed.
I think the key also is to not have too much paralellism going on too, that way it's easy to streamline the PF and remove slow moving processes to a more linear path (stopping bottle necks on your logical AND).

  • Can I change a process flow at run time??

    Hello everybody,
I work in Oracle BPMS 11.1.1.5. I need to change a process flow at run time due to changes in the business logic, I mean add, delete and modify tasks, navigation flow, etc. I know business rules can be modified using Oracle BPM Composer, but I couldn't find the way to modify the process flow. I have seen other BPMS, like BizAgi, for ex. that can do that. Do Oracle BPMS have that functionality? Please I need it a lot!!!!
    Regards and thanks in advance,
    isabelbernely

    Hi
As JonPetter mentioned, you can get this and preferably get only from Support. I hope you have some license if you going to prod with this. Use that and if possible talk to your sales guy and create a support account. Then request the feature pack. The thing is, if we put it in some public shared location, it is the violation of using the oracle product. Unless someone takes risks they may upload but still its not advisable.
    Sorry
