Processing Mining Structure Error
I have a problem while processing mining structure...
This is my Mining Structure
CREATE MINING
STRUCTURE [QUESTION1] (
[ownerReviewID] LONG KEY,
[makeName] TEXT DISCRETE,
[modelName] TEXT DISCRETE,
[price] LONG CONTINUOUS,
[priceDisc] LONG DISCRETIZED(AUTOMATIC),
[seriesYear] LONG CONTINUOUS,
[seriesYearDisc] LONG DISCRETIZED(AUTOMATIC),
[ownerName] TEXT DISCRETE,
[ownedSinceNew] BOOLEAN DISCRETE,
[ownedPeriod] LONG DISCRETE,
[feature_ratings] TABLE (
[transID] LONG KEY,
[ownerReviewID]
LONG DISCRETE,
[feature] TEXT DISCRETE,
[rating] LONG CONTINUOUS,
[ratingDisc] LONG DISCRETIZED(AUTOMATIC)
) WITH HOLDOUT
(30 PERCENT OR 10000 CASES);
I've created a Mining Model with Naive Bayes:
ALTER MINING STRUCTURE [QUESTION1]
ADD MINING MODEL [PredictReBuy-NBayes]
[ownerReviewID],
[makeName],
[modelName],
[priceDisc] AS [price],
[seriesYearDisc] AS
[seriesYear],
[ownerName],
[ownedSinceNew],
feature_ratings(
transID,
feature,
[ratingDisc] AS
[rating] PREDICT )
USING Microsoft_Naive_Bayes
So far, the 2 codes above work fine, all executed.
The error shown at the bottom comes up when I try to execute the processing code. This is my processing code:
INSERT INTO MINING STRUCTURE [QUESTION1]
[ownerReviewID],[makeName],[modelName],[price],[seriesYear],[ownerName],[ownedSinceNew],[ownedPeriod], feature_ratings(SKIP, [transID])
SHAPE {
OPENQUERY([Car Rating],'SELECT ownerReviewID, makeName, modelName, price, seriesYear, ownerName, ownedSinceNew, ownedPeriod FROM dbo.owner_reviews ORDER BY ownerReviewID')}
APPEND
{OPENQUERY([Car Rating],'SELECT transID, ownerReviewID, feature, rating FROM
dbo.feature_ratings ORDER BY transID')
RELATE ownerReviewID to ownerReviewID
) AS [feature_ratings]
I'm currently receiving this error which I dont understand how to solve... any ideas? Thanks!!

Processing a data mining structure throws an error
Processing a data mining structure throws an exception stating the following:
"Errors in the OLAP storage engine: An error occurred while the 'IDK' attribute of the 'Test IDK' dimension from the 'Project1' database was being processed."
"Errors in the OLAP storage engine: The attribute key was converted to an unknown member because the attribute key was not found. Attribute IDK of Dimension: Test IDK from Database: project1, Record:17072643"
I am using a DB view as a DSV. It does not have a unique primary key. Since DB view is getting multiple results per IDK, the IDK repeats for multiple rows. The same IDK is defined as Key column for the mining model. Not sure if that is the
issue. Please help!
Thanks
ShalluHi Shallu,
According to your description, you use a database view in the data source view that do not have a primary key, so you get the error
Errors in the OLAP storage engine: The attribute key was converted to an unknown member because the attribute key was not found. Attribute IDK of Dimension: Test IDK from Database: project1, Record:1707264
when processing the project, right?
In this case, please refer to the links below which describe the similar issue.

Data Mining - Scalar Mining Structure Column Data type error...
Hoping someone will have a solution for this error
Errors in the metadata manager. The data type of the '~CaseDetail ~MG-Fact Voic~6' measure must be the same as its source data type. This is because the aggregate function is not set to count or distinct count.
Is the problem due to the data type of the column used in the mining structure is Long, and the underlying field in the cube has a type of BigInt,or am I barking up the wrong tree?You're right the error does occur when processing the mining model. I've built a simple mining structure to look into the problem - its just a decision tree based on a cube. The cube itself has a single Fact table, with numerous related dimensions. It has two measure groups - one for the use of distinct count, in the other group the aggregation functions used are count and sum.
The measure which seems to be causing a problem uses the sum aggregation in the cube. The underlying table has this field as a BigInt, which was used due to round issues on the cubes when the original Int datatype was used.
In the mining model the same field appears as a Continuous with datatype of Long. It has been tried in various guises as predictonly, and ignore modes both with the same results.
The mining model used to work without a problem when the underlying type was an Integer, but then the cube would report the wrong figures.
Interestingly, when I build a mining model directly against the source data there were no problems.
Let me know if you need any further information.
Thanks -
I'm trying to run the Cross validation report on a mining structure that contains just Microsoft Association Rules mining model. In Target Attribute, I've tried:
Actual(Service Description).SE value
Actual([Service Description]).[SE value]
Actual(Service Description)
Actual([Service Description])
just because i don't know what is the exact correct format, but none of them worked, and I always get the following error:
Error (Data mining): The specified mining structure does not contain a valid model for the current task.
the following is my mining model structureAssociation rules does not allow for cross-validation

'Structured' error handling and reentrancy
The parentheses in the subject are due to the fact that I'm not using the Structured Error Handler reference library, but have rolled my own to do something similar but in the manner I want it to. I don't actually use the SEH (haven't even got it installed at the moment on this PC) so am not sure exactly how it works under the hood.
I have a reasonably large application with a number of distinct parallel modules (GUI, state module, communication, motion control). The final parallel module is an error handling module. This consists of two queues - one for incoming errors, and one for outgoing actions. Errors are dequeued and their codes checked for their category (critical, warning, ignore or unclassified, for instance) and the appropriate category is returned to a local error handler via the action queue. When an error is passed to a local error handler VI, it enqueues the error to the main handler and waits for a response to that particular error.
This all works nicely, in much the same way the SEH would do. However, with either the SEH or my local error handler method, I find myself wondering how often to place these down and the consequences of doing so. If they're non-reentrant, I imagine I may end up with lots of parallel processes sitting patiently to access the VI as it's blocked by another, causing jitter. If I go pre-allocated clone, I could potentially have many many callers using this function, which strikes me as a bit of a waste of resources. My gut feel is to go with shared-allocation clones, as the vast majority of the time it'll be no error passed through an empty case, and not to place them in absolutely every subVI - just perhaps after a state executes in the state handler, in all the parallel loops of the submodules etc.
Just wondering what anyone else does with their error handling solution, and whether my thoughts make sense.
CLDHaving chatted to my friendly neighbourhood Spiderman Architect, he suggested I should probably just stop being a wimp and just use pre-allocated clones to avoid the jitter and to stop worrying about the resource hit, as you suggest
I'll use the same code on both PC host and RT host, hence the jitter concerns on the RT.
Thanks for the thoughts!

Invalid node structure error when verifying hard disk, please help
My 27" Mid 2011 iMac is having hard disk issues. I attempted to repair the disk but received an error that said the disk cannot be repaired and needs to be re-formatted. I have all my files backed up to an external hard drive so I erased and formatted the disk. After reformatting, I ran the verify disk function and got the message saying the HD appears to working properly. I reload OSX Lion and within a day, my computer freezes up and acts as if something is wrong. When I run the verify disk, I get the Invalid Node Structure error multiple times and then the message saying the disk cannot be repaired and I need to reformat the drive. I have completed this process several times and have had no luck. I have looked at a few forums with people who have had somewhat similar problems but am still unsure. I have seen people recommend programs like Disk Warrior to repair issues the hard disk utility cannot but I don't want to spend $100 dollars on this program if my hard disk is damaged and needs to be replaced. Any suggestions? Thank you

I am trying to do data mining with a data warehouse I created. I have the columns Chrome title, chrome window handle, date, time and chrome memory. I want memory to be predicted having the rest as input. But when I try to create mining structures,
i am getting only 1 level all the time. When I click on 'suggest' button in data mining wizard i am always getting a score of 98 time and thats all. Rest are showing 0. I tried with many tables in my ware house but all behaving this way. Please help.

Hi Experts,
We have many File to EDI scenarios wherein XI System pick up the XML and sent to customers via EDI. Recently we faced a problem so created a Back-up System (Production copy) and tested successfully. After sometime the messages were routed to this back-up system and when we notice it and then stopped the back-up system. All the messages that were routed to back-up system, we try to send the same messages from the actually Production system to our customers. Now the problem is XI system (Production system) is unable to pick these files and I check the communication monitoring and encountered the below error message.
Could not process due to error: com.sap.aii.adapter.file.ftp.FTPEx: 550.550
Can anyone let me know how to fix the issue or what needs to be done?
Your help is highly appreciated.
Regards
FaisalHi,
It seems to be problem with permission of files. Please ask your basis to do following:
1. Set the permissions to FTP User you are using as 777 rights(full access to read , write and delete)
2.If you have access to PI server, try to telnet /connect to ftp using command prompt (open ftp .....) the FTP server form there, you should see the same error there , inform this to your network guys.
3.Clear all the files places already in the ftp (take backup) and test afresh after permissions are set by basis team.

In TechTools ( came with Applecare ) i got a failed on Directory Structure, second time since owning my couple month old machine, first time apple recomended reloading.
i dont mishandle it, dont bump, dent, etc, the laptop.
but all of a sudden sometimes my USB keyboard/mouse wont register as being plugged in all the time / techtools HDD errors.
only recent think if done is instal Onyx to look over the logs, and little while after ( days ) the issues started hapening,, same with last time, but didnt think it was Onyx, now im starting to wonder, anybody else have any issues like this, and Would Onyx couse it ( doubt it, but since onyx goes deep into the system, no idea )It is an interesting coincidence that I came across this thread today because I had the exact same issue myself last night.
I have plenty of space available on my HDD 73.1GB.
I downloaded the latest Onyx last night and when it starts it checks the disk. I got an error on the startup volume so I ran Tech Tools as well.
TechTools came up with that same failed Directory Structure error.
I next tried to reboot the comptuer holding down Apple/S and entering fsck -fy
That resulted in errors. Tried re-running it 3-4 tims to see if it would resolve anything but got the same error with every attempt.
I then booted from DiskWarrior and ran that. It seemed to correct a number of issues and now TechTools, Onyx, Disk Utility etc. find no problems. But it was kind of an odd occurance and interesting to find I was not alone in getting that last night.
The odd thing though is that I also checked my Mac Pro while I was wating on this one to finish and had directory errors on that one as well so had to run DiskWarrior on both.
I was kind of concerned about that to say the least. -
Can Service Script catch/process Business Service error?
We have a Service Script invoked by XAI Inbound Service that is invoking a Business Service. If an error occurs in the BS, we would like to be able to capture/process it within the SS, rather than the process "failing"...
As an example, the CC&B Demo database includes SS CI_MRInput and BS CI_RegisterReadHighLowLimits (see CI_MRInput script below).
In the Demo environment, the CI_MRInput is invoked by a BPA Script CI_MRRouteA, in which case "with warn" may be specified to effect processing of the error.
However, when invoked via the XAI Inbound Service, an error from the BS (ex: 8:11024) causes the CC&B process to "fail" and a SOAP Fault and/or CC&B error details to be sent to the external process. This is not desired.
Ideally, we'd like the SS to catch the error and send an agreed upon error code to the external process.
Any assistance in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
CI_MRInput Service Script:
10: move "parm/meterReadDetails/meterConfigurationId" to "MeterConfiguration/meterConfigurationId";
20: invokeBO 'CI_MeterConfiguration' using "MeterConfiguration" for read;
30: edit data
// Reset register reads
move null to "parm/meterReadDetails/register";
// Reset Register remarks
if ("parm/meterReadDetails/remark/readerRemark != $BLANK")
move null to "parm/meterReadDetails/remark";
end-if;
// Using the meter configuration retrieved, setup the meter read elements
move "MeterConfiguration/*" to "parm/meterReadDetails/*";
// Default Read Type (60=Regular) and Use on Bill to 'Y'
move '60' to "parm/meterReadSchedule/readType";
move 'true' to "parm/meterReadDetails/useOnBill";
move "concat(parm/meterReadSchedule/scheduledReadDate,'-12.00.00')" to "parm/meterReadDetails/readDateTime";
// Get the High/Low Limit for each register
move '0' to $registerIndex;
move "parm/meterReadDetails/readDateTime" to "HighLowLimits/readDateTime";
move "parm/meterReadSchedule/readType" to "HighLowLimits/readType";
for ($REG in "parm/meterReadDetails/register")
move "$REG/registerId" to "HighLowLimits/registerId";
move "parm/meterReadSchedule/spId" to "HighLowLimits/spId";
invokeBS 'CI_RegisterReadHighLowLimits' using "HighLowLimits";
move "HighLowLimits/highLimit" to "parm/meterReadDetails/register[$registerIndex]/highLimit";
move "HighLowLimits/lowLimit" to "parm/meterReadDetails/register[$registerIndex]/lowLimit";
move "1 + $registerIndex" to $registerIndex;
end-for;
end-edit;Use the following BS which will execute your SS(from this SS call your BS) and rollback the transaction and return the error code as a Output.
BS Name: F1-SavePointDispatcher
So you through back agreed error according to error code you have received by BS.
