Product cost from Price List - PRM

Hi All,
I am using the PRM module. My requirement is for a user in the partner organisation to be able to pick a product onto a 'claim' - this can be aby object - and have the price of the product determined by the price list attached to the logged on user's account (a partner account). Is this possible, and if so, which object should I use?
Thanks, let me know if this is unclear.
M

M, my understanding is that the only Product access will be found in 2 areas:
-     in the Opportunity Product Revenue Related data on the Opportunity (for Forecasting), and there is no Price lookup in that function
-     in the Special Pricing Authorization object, and there is a Price lookup there … I believe you can associate a default Price list with the Partner Organization … so any User creating a SPA record will be subject to their Partner Orgs designated Price List.

  • Purchase Req & Standard PO - Price is not getting Defaulted from Price List

    Dear All,
    Hope you are doing good!!!
We are implementing R12.1 for one of our client. This query is pertaining to the Advance Pricing with Purchasing. Infact client wants to default the Purchase Requisition and Standard Purchase Order Price from Price List.
I have done entire setup and defined ASL for this reason. But still price is not getting defulted from Contract Purchase Ageerement.
What could be the reason. Its an standard fucntionality but still its not picking up.
I would really appreciate if someone could help me on this. Its URGENT.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Aditya

Let us go through the steps involved in integrating Advanced Pricing with Purchasing so that we know if we have missed anything.
    1. Create Price Lists in Advanced Pricing.
    2. Setup Profile Options in System Administrator responsibility:
QP: Licensed for Product - at Application: Purchasing level = Purchasing.
QP: Pricing Transaction Entity - at Application: Purchasing level = Procurement
    ( Site level - ‘Order Fulfillment’ )
Profile option can be set at site, application, and user levels.
QP: Source System Code – at Application: Purchasing level = Oracle Purchasing
    ( Site level -- ‘Oracle Pricing’ )
Profile can be set at site and responsibility levels.
QP: Item Validation Organization - at Application: Purchasing level = null
( Site level -- specified in Financial Options )
Profile option can be set at site and responsibility levels.
    3. Add item to the Price list Advanced Pricing ->Price Lists -> Price List Setup.
    Enter the item/price/dates etc.
    4. Create Contract Purchase Agreement.
    5. Create Approved Suppliers List. In the Source Documents, select the Type as Contract and reference the Contract Agreement Number.
Create the Sourcing Rule and add the Rule to the Assignment Set.
    6. Create the Standard Purchase Order referencing the Contract Purchase Agreement in the Reference Documents.
The Price listed should be defaulted from the Price Lists.
Cross-Check the following steps and let me know if it still fails and we can try to resolve from then on :)

    Hello Thirumala,
I checked my role under portal User administration > Identity Management > Assigned Roles, and found that I should already be a manager pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/specialist/com.sap.pct.crm/com.sap.pct.crm.roles/com.sap.pct.crm.accountmanager
Then, I checked my R/3 role at SU01, and add the role SAP_PCC_ACCOUNT_MANAGER to my login.
    Finally, <b>$sync</b> ....
After restarting the browser, I get the product description as an object link and jump to product detail directly!
    It works!

  • Fetching prices from price list without condition technique

    Hi,
I have a situation where i need to create a price list of materials which will not be used in my regular sales process pricing.
I would require these prices to send the data to an external interface.
As per my understanding the price list is used to get the customer specific prices and will be used in sales processing for automatic pricing. Kindly let me know how to use the price list without using condition technique.
As i need to create a condition table, Access sequence, condition type to use the price lists, kindly suggest how to avoid the regular process and directly fetch the price of the material from the price list.
Is this possible, if so do let me know the steps.
    Regards,
    K.Byla

    hi,
this is to inform you that,
    PRICE LIST:
it is applicable for a list of Customer's which are under the same group and share same pricing requriments.
With out using Condiiton Technique we are not able to do anything.
this is one of the important field which plays a very important role in pricing determination through CONDITION RECORDS.
you can go through PRICING REPORT, even this does not give any solution to this issue.
you can go for ENHANCEMENT, by creating a Z table with the fields:
KSCHL, AMOUNT & OTHER fields into condideration.
    or
use SM30 and update into the tables - which is not suggested.
    please test and confirm.
    HOPE THIS CLEARS your issue.

  • DTW Production tree headers - price list

I have 2000+ production Bom's headers that I would like to update via DTW. I want to change the price list on the header. The field on the OITT file is PriceList but the DTW template for production trees does not have this field on it. I know the DTW production tree lines template has price list & price fields on them to update ITT1 but not the header. Does anyone know the field name to use to update the price list number on the headers by DTW please?

    Hi Gordon,
Thanks for the reply. It wasn't the answer I would have liked but that's the way it is sometimes.

  • Product Costing standard price

    Dear Experts,
I am new to costing. I have done costing it s working fine. But the costing price hit in future price instead of hit in standard price.
And how can we diffreciate Planned and Actual price in material master or costing level.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Venkat.

    Hello Venkat,
If the costed standard price is getting updated to other field than Standard price, you configuration setting for costing type will be wrong.
check with costing type is linked to your costing variant through T-code OKKN
Then go to costing type T-code OKKI, check which field is given for price update. It should be  " Standard price"
Let me know if this helps
    thanks

  • Item + Lotwise Price List Changes

    Hi All,
We are Manufacturing Unit of Lubricants (FMCG). We have OPM manufacturing and each batch have different cost. so price list is defined for each batch based on cost. if the cost vary then new price list will be created or continue to have same price list until any changes in cost. Each batch stock will be stored under lot which is same as batch number. So each lot is having price list and stock is maintaining in each price list. At the time of creating sales order we book it in New price list and Shipment may happen in another 3 or few days. During shipment only we will check for stock and allocate the stock based on FIFO, if we have old stock then we will allocate that lot and change price corresponding to that lot and bill it in that price list otherwise we will bill it in same price.
Eg: Item A is manufactured and having stock in different batch with different price list
    Batch 1 - 10 Qty - Lot 1 - Price -110
    Batch 2 - 5 Qty - Lot 2 - Price - 100
    Batch 3 - 10 Qty - Lot 3 - Price - 120
    We book order for 22 Qty at Price 120 - total value is 22 * 120 = 2640
    During shipment we allocate stock from Lot 1 - 10 qty + Lot 2 - 5 qty + Lot 3 - 7 qty
So based on allocation we need to update sales order line price as 10 *110+ 5*100 + 7*120 =1100+500+840 = 2440.
during shipment based on allocation we need to change price in sales order line with split up. How to achieve this scenario in oracle
    Thanks in advance

There's a standard workflow to reprice the order upon shipment.. Like "Line Flow-Generic", there's another workflow with "line flow-Generic, with Repricing at fulfillment". That should resolve the issue if you associate this workflow to your order type.
    Thanks
    Gopi

  • Transfer of Costs in Product Cost Collector to COPA

    Dear Experts,
Please can you advise me on this current issue I'm having. Below is a description of problem:
Customer is currently using report designed in COPA (KE30) to derive P&L report for using Plant as a characteristic.
This was being done at a time when Product Costing functionality was not being used
All costs (administrative, sales and production costs) were being collected in cost centers
At end of month assessment of cost center values to COPA is executed (KEU5)
Customer is then able to derive P&L report per Plant characteristic
However with implementation of Product Costing, all Production related costs are captured in Product Cost Collectors and not Cost Center
Hence we have no way of assessing or transferring total production costs from Product Cost Collector to CO-PA
We have tried to configure FI/MM PA transfer structure (KEI1) and default account assignment (OKB9) for automatic transfer of costs on goods receipt/issue, however this is not working because the product cost collector is used as the default account assignment for the transactions
So far only material cost valuation of sales/billed materials are possible (which does not address concern)
As a result we have a gap and customer is unable to derive P&L by Plant from CO-PA.
Can you advise if there is a way out, in order to have all Production Cost transferred to CO-PA.
    Thanks,
    Ola.

    Hi Ola
Your Cost centers would be categorized as below
    1. MFG Cost Centers (In Plant)
    2. Service Cost Centers (In Plant)
    3. Few Cost centers (outside plant) Eg: Sales, Marketing, Sales offices etc
    At period end
    1. Allocate the Costs from SER CC to MFG CC using Distribution / Assessment cycle.
This will make SER CC as zero
    2. Calculate actual activity price in MFG CC (KSS2 / KSII)
    3. After this, do revaluation of PCC using CON2.. This will make balance in MFG CC as zero
    4. Allow the Variances to be updated to COPA by ticking the "Variances to Costing based COPA" in your settlement profile
    5. In short, what remains for you to allocate to COPA is the 3rd category of CC.. i.e. you should allocate those CC to COPA whose cost is not included in the cost of product using COPC module

  • How to create multiple price lists in indesign linking via ODBC/ SQL

    Hello,
I'm hoping someone can help me as I am really not sure where to begin! We stock over 3000 product lines and have 2000+ customers who all have bespoke prices, all of this information is stored on our system. I am trying to find out if it is possible to create a price list that links to this information so that we can create bespoke price lists for each customer. We currently use excel but would like a more professional look to our price lists and to include product images etc. Whilst the price list product content will be the same for all customers we will need to periodically need to add new products to this price list. I anyone able to point us in the right direction for a solution to this?
    Many thanks
    Jen

    Hi Peter,
Yes I think that this is the way we will be probably go but not sure what the correct terms are for what I am looking for. Not sure if you are allowed to post examples of specific commercial plug ins here but if not, what should I search for. I know if sounds daft but it's a real case of not knowing what it is I am looking for. I am a complete InDesign newcomer who uses it at the moment for simple flyers etc so more than happy to find someone who can do the more complex stuff for me. The price lists will need to be done inhouse and on a regular basis.
    thanks

  • Price list based on item group

It would be great to have possibility to set up price lists with different factors based on item groups. Now it can be achieved by setting Period and Volume Discounts. But it doesn't allow to display correct price in Item Master Data or setup rounding.

    Hi,
If I understand you correctly, here is the answer:
    1. An option of create new price list based on Item Cost. YES
    2. Have the ITEM COST as price list. (for AVG and STANDARD items valuation). Not sure what you exact mean. Probably not.
    3. For items with valuation FIFO, can consider other price list only for this items, that include the information over FIFO layer.  Probably not.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • BP Price List changed unexpectedly

    My Customer wrote -
We have noticed that occasionally the BPs Price List in the Payment Terms tab changes from Price List A (Trade) to Price List H (Retail) without anyone actually doing this.   When we examine the history it usually appears to have happened at the same time that a user has made another change or added a note.   All users are adamant that they have not touched the Payment Terms field.   We canu2019t find changes in the other direction (i.e. H to A).
As anyone seen this and know what causes it?
    Help much apreciated
    Martin

    Hi Martin.......
Without change by anybody it can not be changed.
I would suggest you to ask your Client to restrict the price list change by giving No Authorization to the user to whom he has given and see for sometimes. And main thing just ask him to change Manager Password and not to tell anyone till solve this issue.......
    Hope this will help you.....

    Hi Ashok,
I am asking is it possible to get daily product cost report. What are implications or difficulties in getting daily product cost report from CO point of view. From CO point of view we need to settle the production orders daily where settlemet is a monthly activity and also the allocations. I request you to tell me what are implications in doing the daily product costing to arrive at daily product cost report.

  • Price list change according to raw material cost

    Dear Experts,
We are currently working in a client where for those products for which the raw material is the main component as the cost of the raw materials varies with a high frequency (daily or weekly) the list price (the price we want to invoice to customers) should be updated accordingly and automatically with a specific mark up.
Have you found a similar requirement in any client? If yes, could you explain us from a functional perspective how (SAP standard functionality or custom development with a detailed explanation of the solution) you solved this requirement?
Is there any procedure to do regular massive updates of Finished Good price lists based on the actual variation (and/or expected variation) of raw materials cost?
Thanks in advance for your help.
    M.Baig

    Hi Baig,
It is possible to determine the price based on the raw material cost. I dont know whether you are using Moving average price or standard price for the raw material cost.
Whatever be the  method, when you create the sales order, it is possible to take the raw material cost on the date of order creation using one of teh cost condition types like VPRS. You can use this condition type as statistical.
You can also have another condition type which is the mark up on this cost.
Now you can calculate your grossprice using another condition type which total up the cost in VPRS condition type adn the mark up %, either through just configuration or by means of a calculation type routine created in VOFM adn then assigning the same for the gross price condition type.
I you have any concerns, pls lemme know.
