Profile with wrong country after registration

I used a Swisscom SIM to register my Pre2. Now in the profile the country is "United States of America". In the device details the model is "Palm Pre2 (Swisscom Switzerland)". Is this a problem for future use of my Pre2? If yes why is the country wrong and how can I change it?

Hi there, I have a similar problem. Bought my unlocked Pre2 in the US and activated it in Chile with a Chilean SIM. Now I can't see any apps in the App Catalog, guessing this is because the phone's IMEI was registered outside a "supported" country. Can this be modified? No easy to work / develop on phone without access to other apps. Many thanks!

My iTunes media folder shows ALL of my music still there (including all from imported CD's), but on my iTunes, it says most of it is in the cloud? Now after this "Temporary Profile" mishap, nothing is working properly with iTunes.

Do this. If all the synced media like apps and music are alread in the the iTnunes library just backup the iPod and restore from that backup

Do you have a backup? Transfer to new computer if you haven't already. A restore will wipe the contents.

Hi, my iPhone was water damaged, and was stuck in dfu but wouldn't restore due to error 2001, this is what I did,
The phone is not jail broke or unlocked its straight, I striped the phone and cleaned all the boards and let them dry
Out, I've heard that if an I-device has error remove the power supply for a few days, and since royal mail thought my battery was a packet of drugs they ript the back of and snapped the battery cable, I am perusing royal mail about the damage they have done, so I got a knew batt and put it all together, I pressed the on button and the home button for ten seconds, then web I started to boot I let go of the on button, waited for ten seconds and the phone came up as normal, no connect to I-tunes screen, I put the USB lead in and restored my phone to a bran new phone and then updated it to the latest firmware, the phone is fine, every thing works and it turns on and of with no problems, I hope this helps people out their.

Photos on iPhone in wrong order after sync with iMac iPhoto

I just purchased my iPhone 6 and am trying to get it all set up with my photos stored on iPhoto on iMac. When I sync phone using iTunes all of images sync over. Not a problem. But here's where the issue is... On my iMac in iPhoto, all photos are displayed correctly with right time and date (along with locations). However, once syncing to my iPhone, a select 6 photos (random ones) are being displayed as taken most recently (yesterday) with wrong location. To be clear, this isn't under events but rather "Moments" on the Photos tab on iPhone.
What is going on? It looks fine on iMac. I have never adjusted the time and date of these photos so not sure how this is even possible. I'm using iOS 8.1. Thanks for your help!

My iPhone 4 camera roll decides to rebuild the library every once in a while and everytime this happens, it moves my most refer pictures and places them some where in the middle of the camera roll, making my last pictures I took with my 3Gs the most recent ones showing at the bottom. Small inconvenience but it looks like someone at Apple screwed up in setting up the sequence numbering of these pix and now it's a pain for the end users.
Has anyone experience the same issue and been able to successfully solve the problem? Please help.

AnyConnect 3.1 with SBL stucks after establishing connection on Win7

the title nearly says it all. I am currently trying to get my AnyConnect with SBL working. I installed the AnyConnect Client at version 3.1.05160 pre-deploy, plus the matching VPNgina module to enable the Start Before Logon feature. Operating System is Windows 7.
Connecting to the VPN-Server out of the logged in Windows works fine. However, when connecting before logging in, something goes wrong. After clicking on the VPN connection button in the bottom right corner, the AnyConnect login popup shows up and I can enter the credentials. Then the vpn tunnel is established (!) and the popup closes, but the Windows screen stucks at "Connecting, please wait". I have to press the cancel button to close the screen and get back to the Windows login screen, where I can, surprisingly, log in to my company network, because the VPN tunnel is established. After i log in a little popup in the bottom right corner verifies that, as well as the VPN client itself when I look at it.
This effect only occurs on Windows 7 platforms, but on every single platform i tested it on. I also tested it on a Windows 8.1 PC, using the same client, settings and profile, where everything works fine.
Does someone have an idea how this problem can be explained? Any help would be highly appreciated!

- CN matches the DNS
- Certificate was installed on client PC
Where does the Anyconnect search/check for the certs?

Spotify thinks I'm in the wrong country. Can't change country

I can't get spotify to go online because it thinks I'm in the wrong country. My profile says, that I'm from the USA, but I never made that setting. I'm from germany and have a german IP. I can't change my country in my profile on my own, because its greyed out. Please change the country to germany. My Accountname is fernetbranco

If you can't change your country on your online profile but your IP address is being correctly located, get in touch with support using the online contact form and they will be able to get it changed over manually for you.
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

After moving shared profiles to Windows 7/32 Pro PC, I can't access them from XP box mapped to the profile share (P:\Profiles...) after editing profiles.ini to point to the network share. I can edit files in the profile directory from XP.

Previous configuration: Shared profiles located at D:\profiles\ on PC1 (XP Pro SP3). 2nd PC (PC2 also XP Pro SP3) mapped to \\PC1\Profiles via mapped drive P: and using absolute reference in profiles.ini on PC2. Remote profiles work OK on PC2.
New PC added (PC7) to eventually replace PC1 (Windows 7/32 Pro). Profiles moved to D:\Profiles on that box. Firefox and Thunderbird work fine on PC7 with the local profiles. Profiles.ini edited on PC1 to point to the network share and will not access the remote profiles. Access permissions are set to full for everyone. I can write and edit to files in the profile directories from PC1.
I tried adding a profile with the profile manager and tried to force it to use the network share, but it still located the new profile down in the default directory ...\application data\Mozilla\Firefox\

Well, try this (I was able to fix my with these steps):
Go Utilities > Disk Utility
Select your Startup Disk, e.g. Macintosh HD
Then, under the First Aid Tab, click Verify Disk Permissions.
If there are errors, then click repair Disk Permissions.
After it is done, restart the computer and see if your problem is resolved.

Balance carryforward is not correct due to incorrect GL created with wrong

We have created two gl accounts with wrong account group which is balance sheet and also made an postings to that gl account after year end process done so correcting this issue, now we have transferred that amount to new gl account which is p&l account and also we have executed FAGLGVTR (carry forward trasaction)but the amount is not reflecting in retained earning account so pls let me know solution for this issue.

Dear Seshu,
You can Transfer the Retained earnings account balance to a new GL account for Retained earnings. And mark the previous account for mark for deletion / not to use and hence no postings will be allowed in the future to that GL account. And now you can carryforward normally in the future years use.

Font profile doesn't work after updating to ios 7.1

Before updating to ios 7.1 I can see text written in unicode zawgyi font in applications by installing the font profile. But after 7.1, text written in zawgyi unicode font appears as ?????. Some said removing and reinstalling the profile may help but it doesn't. The font appeared for a while when I first opened the app just before the font profile is installed but after restarting the app it showed ????? again. Please help me fix this problem.

How to create a persistent network manager profile with openvpn?

After installing networkmanager and openvpn everything works fine except that the networkmanager profile is not persistent and nm creates and selects a new profile with every boot. I followed Persistent configuration on boot using systemd which creates a persistent profile and cuts out the creation of a new profile, but when I build a openvpn connection it won't change the i.p. any longer. I've been searching for a week, read and learned a lot, but without a solution.
My main question is what's creating and selecting a new network profile after booting? I've 2 fresh installations of Arch and Archbang on 2 pc's and with both the same issue/problem.

How can I replace a *.default profile with a new one?

I had several problems with a laptop being infected with malware. As a result FireFox would not open and thus I couldn't export the bookmarks before reformating the drive. Before reformatting the drive I copied the FireFox files in user/appdata/mozilla/firefox/ both the Local and Roaming subfolders to another drive. I installed FF 4 after the reformat, replaced the *.default files in the new profile with those I saved from the old installation and got the error message " . . all ready running."

Delete the '''parent.lock''' file, if it exists in that Profile.
