Proforma Invoice & Excise Invoice in Stock Transport Order

Hi,
What is the business logic for creating a Proforma Invoice & Excise Invoice in Stock Transport Order?
My apologies for putting down the basis question before you.
Regards,
PK

Hi
1. In VF01 from where the net price will come.
you have to maintain in VK11
2. On what value basis, the excise is going to be calculated in J1IIN.
It will calculate on your condition of excise in VK11 and value of VF01
3. What are FI entries in VF01 & J1IIN in the case of Stock Transfer.
check with SD consultant he will clear you

  • Commercial Invoice and Stock Transport Order

    Hello Experts,
My client is using stock transport orders which sometimes results in cross border goods movement. I am not able to find any functionality for creating commercial invoices to be used for these types of shipping.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Gar,
Usually when there is a crossing of borders, it is a movement between 2 different companies code, therefore the intercompany purchase is the usual flow.
If you mean that the flow is between plants of the same company code between different countries, maybe you are talking about "Plants abroad" functionality.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_45b/helpdata/en/34/60b1a0ae724effe10000009b38f91f/content.htm
Previously, the plants of a company code had to belong to the country of that company code.
As of Release 4.0A, it is possible to deviate from this rule for European company codes with European plants.
I never had to use this functionality at a customer site, but that sounds like your requirement
Also allows internal billing document for intrastat reporting, so feel free to evaluate!

  • Proforma Invoice (F8) for Stock Transport Order

With regard to intra-company STO, we have a specific requirement:
Referencing delivery document generated using Xn: VL10B (delivery from Stock Transport Order), we create proforma invoice type F8. Subsequently, excise invoice is created referencing the proforma invoice. We need to capture the material cost plus 10 % of material cost as PR00 value in the invoice.
    Problem:
However, here comes the problem: condition type PR00 does not come automaticcally in the proforma invoice, though pricing procedure has PR00 condition type. We have to manually entere the PR00 condition type for every line item (a routine calculates 110% of the value once value is enetered in the manually entered condition)
Is it the standard system behaviour ? Any way out?
    with kind regards
    Muraleedharan.R

    Hi,
Have you maintained the condition records for PR00 , if not than you have to enter it manually at the item level .
If your price is same for all the items than maintain use header condition or else at item level you have to enter PR00 item by item.

I know that calculation type 362 attached to BASB in TAXINN has something to do with this
I am able to see chapter ID in J1IS
And the relation between condition types in TAXINN and excise pricing procedure for STO
And I am able to create excise invoice in J1IG with zero excise values

  • Excise Duty handling for Inter company Stock Transport Orders in SAP 4.6C

I want to handle Excise Duty handling for Inter company Stock Transport Orders in SAP 4.6C. I know that SAP has provided standard solutions in 4.7C by giving one standard table OIH09 which can be maintained through Customisation.
In 4.6C, even the Goods issue & Goods receipt button in item details of Stock Transport order is not available.
Is there any work around for the same.

In IS-OIL, cross company postings were stopped with Note #  623910 & would
require a core modification to achieve this functionality.

  • Intra Company Stock Transport Order

    Hi,
This is a scenario of Intra Company Stock Transfer (using Stock Transport Order with document type UB) from one manufacturing plant to another manufacturing plant within the same company code.
I have created STO, prepared Outbound Delivery with T-Code VL10B and did PGI. Billing was done with T-code VF01 and Outbound Excise Invoice was created with T-Code J1IIN
While doing Goods Receipt in the Receiving plant with the T-code MIGO, when I referred the outbound excise invoice that was created in the previous step with the T-code J1IIN (put Excise Invoice No. and Date), I got the following error message "Excise invoice doesn't exist in the supplying plant" and not any Excise Value is flowing from the Excise Invoice in the screen of MIGO.
The CIN configuration and master data in J1ID seems to be ok.
Please provide the expert opinions to overcome the issue.
    Thanks in advance
    Rajesh Praveen

I did Goods Receipt with reference to Outbound Delivery in the Receiving Plant without referring any Excise Invoice Number (as our system has been designed now like this). I updated part RG23A part 1 using the material document number (generated as a result of Goods Receipt) in J1I5.
Now I am trying to post RG23A part 2 in J1IEX with reference to the material document number (generated as a result of Goods Receipt) and putting the Excise Number created in J1IIN earlier. The system is picking BED, ECS and SECess values but the value of Base Value is not being picked up as a result of which I am not able to post the Excise Invoice.
Please provide some idea to resolve this
    Thanks in advance

  • Procurement cycle in third party order and stock transport order.

please provide me in steps the procurement cycle in third party order and stock transport order.

    Hi,
    STO Process: -
1.Create a vendor for the company code of receiving plant, using account group :0007 using T-Code XK01.
    2. Assign this vendor to Delivering plant
    Go to XK02 >Purchasing view>Extras>Add. Purchasing data>Plant
    3. Create internal customer with the sales area of the vendor. Go To XD01
    4. In Pricing procedure determination relevant to STO, assign document Pricing Procedure and customer pricing procedure appropriate for STO to get the pricing in the invoice.
    5. Maintain condition records for the relevant pricing condition.
    6. Some more setting for STO: Go to MM> Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > define shipping data for plants > Go to Receiving plant >assign customer here & Supplying SA (for billing) to Receiving plant here
    7. Go to MM > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > define shipping data for plants > Go to Supplying plant and assign the sales area of receiving plant.
    8. Go to MM > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > assign delivery Type & Checking rule
Assign the delivery type to document type. In this case, Delivery type NLCC is assigned to Document type NB
    9. Go to MM> Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > Assign document Type, One step Procedure, Under delivery tolerance
Assign the document type NB to supplying plant and receiving plant
    10. After all settings , Create the STO using T-Code:ME21N and maintain pricing conditions of freight and Save.
    11. Create Delivery :VL10G
Click on the Background Button after selecting line item
A message is flashed : See log for information> next Click on Log for delivery creation Button >click on line item>click on document button to get Delivery document No
    12. Picking, PGI:VL02N
    13. Billing:VF01
Save the document and its done
    14. J1IIN - Outgoing Excise Invoice
    15. MIGO - Goods Receipt against outbound Delivery
    16. J1IEX - Capture & Post Excise Invoice
    Pricing configuration for STO: -
In SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Conditions > Define Price Determination Process > Define Schema Determination > Determine Schema for Stock Transport Orders > Here assign Calculation Schema "RM2000" i.e. Stock Transfer Document to Schema Grp Pur. Org, STO Type (For e.g. UB) and Supplying Plant.
Calculation Schema "RM2000" has condition type P101 which will pick up the MAP of supplying plant automatically during creation of STO in ME21N ("Conditions" Tab).
You can create new freight / delivery cost conditions in M/06 and assign in pricing procedure "RM2000" in M/08 and also assign the Accrual Key to this and do the Account Determination for this Accrual Key in OBYC
    At the time of PGI, following accounting entry will get generated;
    Stock A/c - Dr - 110 INR (Receiving Plant)
    Stock A/c - Cr - 100 INR (Supplying Plant)
Freight Clearing A/c - Cr - 10 INR (Supplying Plant)
    Third Party Process Flow: -
    1) MM01 - General Item category Group should be BANS in basic view of material master.
    2) VA01 - Creation of sales order with VA01 transaction in SD module
    3) When sales order is created system automatically creates a PR for the material with item category as "S"--> Third Party Item
    4) ME21N - Directly PO with item category as "S" and delivery address as customer address
    5) MIGO - Statistical GR by MM ( When it is made goods are received and delivered)
    6) MIRO - Invoice by MM for vendor
    7) VF01 - Billing by SD on Customers

  • Incorrect value for condition type P101 in Stock Transport order

    Hello Friends,
We have a scenario where in transfering material from one plant to another using the STO way , the excise duty from the sending plant should be loadded on the inventory of the receiving plant.
In this scenario the excise duty X% is calculated on the condition type P101 (which is the standard price or the moving average price from the material master accounting view)
Giving below a sample cas e for the error occuring:-
    - Suppose a material M1 has stock of 5,00,000 EA of total value 2,03,707.16 inr , thus the moving average price calculated by the system is 0.41 inr per unit.
    - When i try to create the Stock transport order for this material the P101 condition value now appears as 2,05,000 inr for same 5,00,000 Quantity
If we check the difference between the material master value and condition value their is a difference of 1292.84
As mentioned the excise duty(X%)  is now getting calcuated on 2,05,000 . When we do post goods issue against the delivery created for the stock transport order the inventory value posted is from the material master i.e 2,03,707.16 , but the excise value are calculated on 2,05,000 in the Purchase.
This difference in value between the condition P101 in PO and the actual inventory posting value is resulting in incorrect calcuation of the excise duty.
can some help me regarding this issue.
    regards,

    Dear Gundam,
This might accured due to the rounding off problem, so please chek the rounding off condition type is available in the invoice or not.
If not plaese maintain the rounding off condition type sames as in the sales order then try.
I hope this will help you,
    Regards,
    Murali.

  • Stock Transport Order Billing

    Hi guys,
while doing Stock Transport Order Billing (JEX), user should be prohibited from the creation of multiple billing. After VF01 & once the generation of Excise Invoice.....user should not be allowed billing from the same invoice.
What should be done in this scenario. Any user exits or some SD configs to be done ?
    Rohan

You can'mot create after PO sales order automatically as per standered functionality.
For achiving this you need to go for custom development
maintain one condition output in PO messages.once you create the po output that should generate the sales order in back ground through function module.Take Aber help.
Once you crete the sales order then rest of the process same.

  • Very imp stock transfer and stock transport order

    hi folks,
please explain me in detail the difference between stock transfer and  stock transport order.
    regards,meena

    Hi:
Stock Transfer is the physical movement of material from one location to another location, stock transport order is one way of doing the stok transfer.
Stock can be transfer between plant to plant, company code to company code, storage location to storage location.
However there are different procedures for stock transfers:
1.Stock Transfer using one step procedure: Here Goods issue and Goods receipts happens in single step.
2.Stock Transfer using Two stage procedure:The two-step procedure allows you to monitor the stocks in transit. After the goods issue is posted at the issuing point, the stock appears "in stock transfer" at the receiving point and is managed as such in the system.
    3.Stock Transport Order:
This is transfer of material from one plant to other plant or co.code to co.code via SD route.
Here a.receiving plant raise the stock transport order on issuing plant.
           b. Issiuing plant creates the outbounmd delivery against STO and PGI.IF it is in India, then excise
               invoice creation.
           c. Receiving plant post the goods receipt against outbound delivery and post the excise ivoice.
           d. Invoice verification.
The main advantage of Stock Transport order is you have a more control because you can have  purchasing document behind itand you can check the PO history which would gives all the details for Delivery as well GR documents.
However ftor STO via SD you need to configure the set up stock transport order in MM>Purchasing>Purchase Order-->Set Up Stock Transoport order.
Also on a data maintanace side you need to maintain the custmor and vendor relations.
    Hope this would helps you.
    Cheers
    Rahul

    Hi Lakshmi,
Don't show your rewards to get your replies.
We are here to resolve your SAP issues / quires not for getting rewards!!
Under one company code you can't generate AP/AR document at all.
You can generate Excise documents not commercial documents because; Legal entity is company code in any organization. That means, Profit & Loss (Balance sheet) declared at company code level not at Plant level.
Hope I have clarified your doubts.

  • Stock Transport Order between Two Company codes

    Dear All
Scenario-- Stock transport order Between two company codes.
The valuation of Comapny Codes is at Moving Average Price.
    I have a scenario
MAP of Issuing Plant-- Rs. 10 / kg
I am able to pick up the price of Rs.10 (MAP) of issuing plant while creating PO.
    in receving plant.
At the time of Goods issu the MAP has changed & become Rs.12/kg. Hence the goods issue takes place at Rs.12/- perkg.
When we make GR at receiving plant ,the valuation of GR is at Rs.10 i.e at PO price.
Is it possible to have a GR valuation at Goods issue price for that delivery note?
    Request Your feedback urgently.

The invoice has the material costs at time of goods issue.
You receipt is valuated to PO price. But when you post the invoice, then the MAP is adjusted,
By setting up EDI, SAP will probably post the invoice before the goods receipt is done, hence the GR should be valuated with the invoice price.
    from Note 518368 - FAQ: Valuation for the purchase order;
With which price is the goods receipt posted for a purchase order?
    Answer:
If the goods receipt is executed before the invoice receipt, the goods movement is valuated with the purchase order price. If an invoice is already posted, the system uses the price of the invoice. If a partial invoice is received, the partial quantity corresponding to the invoice is valuated with the invoice price, the rest is valuated with the purchase order price.
For more detailed information, refer to both the documentation of the material valuation and Note 380883.
see as well Note 547570 - FAQ: VPRS in pricing

  • Stock Transport order with Freight Charges- Payable to an external vendor

    Hello
we are implementing the stock transport order between two plants in SAP 4.7. The document type is UB and it has to be a two step process. We need to post the Freight Charges as well. The freight Provider is external vendor.
What is the best way of configuring this scenario for freight cost?
I did put the freight forearder vendor code on the conditiond tab detail of condition tyep FRA1 but  can't do the invoice verification for the same.
    Any tips are appreciated.

    Hello,
This EhP4 feature addresses only the one step Stock Transport Order to subcontracting vendor for intra company.
Does anybody know how to do a two steps Stock Transport Order to subcontracting vendor for intra company?
    By "two steps" I mean:
1- Goods Issue from supplying plant A to in-transit stock of the subcontracting vendor at receiving plant B.
2- Inbound Delivery Notification (IDN) at receiving plant B + Goods receipt against this IDN into the subcontracting stock at receiving plant B.
    Thanks and regards,

  • Third party Stock Transport Order

    Hi,
We have a requirement as descibed below:
Plants A, B and C are live in SAP and belong to different company codes. The Plant B is the sales office and no production/purchasing happens at this plant. The vendor codes for Plant A & B with respective plant assignment is done and STO configuration for the procurment from Plant A to C and vice versa is set up in the system. Now, the requirement is Plant A intends to procure from plant C (in other words Plant C should deliver to Plant A) but the billing should happen from Plant B. The third party cross company sales is set up for Plant B making a cross company sales order with sales org of Plant B and production plant B for the external customer.
One of the solution is to make the Plant A as external customer of Plant B but somehow that doesn't follow the SAP Business Global Solution of the company.
Kindly advise if any solution from the procurement perspective (stock transport order) could serve the business requirement (Plant C to deliver to Plant A and billing from Plant B). Any kind of development should also be acceptable.
    Thanks in Advance,

To add to what Jurgen said:
Why would a second company code be an invoicing party? The business process doesn't make sense.
Also had the Plant C been a part of the same company code of Plant A (Supplying plant), then cross company STO could have easily mapped the scenario, by giving the Plant C as the invoicing party (PI) in the partner function of Plant A.
