Programmically configure squiggly

We integrated squiggly into our app. Thanks a lot!
I have several questions:
1) Are you considering to provide an API to allow an application to configure squiggly programmically, e.g., get the directionary file path from application's own config file, rather than depending on the AdobeSpellingConfig.xml file?
2) How to add an "ignore" menu along with the add to dictionary menu? I think ignore is different from add to dictionary in that it is just temporary or per session and will not be persisted.
3) If I don't use SpellUI, how can I do the enable and disable on a TextArea?

Thanks for your email. Those are great questions. Partial responses below. More to come shortly.

We are looking into flexible options to enable developers to manage the resources for spellchecking. We should have more information on how that will be handled in a few weeks.
2. How to add an "ignore" menu along with the add to dictionary menu? I think ignore is different from add to dictionary in that it is just temporary or per session and will not be persisted.
We are aware of the "ignore" functionality and plan to deliver it with Squiggly in a later release (most likely not our next release). As for how to implement it by yourself, I would defer that to a team member who should be responding shortly.

How to use the PCI-DIO-32HS counter

I have to create a SPI, I'd like to use counter, but the card doesn't answer, so Labview bug. Do you if there is programmable/configurable counter on this Card?

The PCI-DIO-32HS does have a counter onboard. However the counter is only used for generating an internal clock in order to do pattern generation. You cannot program this counter in LabVIEW. If you need a counter, I would look at using an M Series Board, or a 660X board.

Audio problem and macbook pro very slow

I have a macbook pro for less than a year.
The latter has begin to be very slow. In addition, I have no sound which are emitted from my Mac, setting apart the opening gong. By the jack, there is no red light that are emitted. I tried to go in the program "audio setup midi" but it does not even want to open. So I tried to open the configuration panel go to select a new audio output device, but to my surprise, after an interminable waiting times, I got a list of blank audio device .. .
I noticed that it started when I put my Mac to version 10.7.4 ... So this is very recent ...
When downloading the update, I was editing a script with automator and my Mac was rammed by an HDMI cable has a television, if it ever can help.
I was wondering how to solve my problem.

j'ai un macbook pro depuis moins d'un an.
Ce dernier a commencer a être très lent. De plus, je n'ai plus aucun son qui es émis de mon Mac, mise a part le gong d'ouverture. Par la prise jack, il n'y a pas de lumière rouge qui es émis. J'ai essayé d'aller dans le programme "configuration audio midi" mais celui-ci ne veux même pas ouvrir. J'ai donc essayé d'ouvrir le paneau de configuration pour aller sélectionner un nouveau périphérique de sortie audio, mais a ma grande surprise, après un délais d'attente interminable, j'ai eu droit a une liste de périphérique audio vide...
J'ai remarqué que cela a commencé lors que j'ai mis mon Mac à la version 10.7.4... Donc, c'est tout récent...
Lors du téléchargement de la mise à jours, j'éditais un scripte avec automator et mon Mac était banché par un cable HDMI a une télévision, si jamais ça peux aider.

The startup drive is failing, or there is some other internal hardware fault.
Back up all data on the drive immediately if you don't already have a current backup. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional—ask if you need guidance.
Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service provider.
If privacy is a concern, erase the data partition(s) with the option to write zeros* (do this only if you have at least two complete, independent backups, and you know how to restore to an empty drive from any of them.) Don’t erase the recovery partition, if present.

Apple also recommends that you deauthorize a device in the iTunes Store before having it serviced.

je suis en train de mettre en place un banc d'essai automatisé, mais je suis autodidacte avec LabVIEW alors je voudrais avoir votre avis sur une partie que j'ai à programmer.
Mon programme configure le banc d'essai automatiquement (qui est un circuit haute tension), et pour des raisons de sécurité je dois exécuter des tâches dans un certain ordre, en vérifiant que tout s'est bien passé avant de passer à la suivante. Pour l'instant j'ai commencé à faire avec des conditions imbriquées, mais si je continue comme ça je vais finir avec 30 structures conditions...
Pour donner un exemple, je demande une action à mon banc, je teste que ça ait été réalisé, si c'est OK je passe à la 'action suivante, si c'est NOK j'affiche une erreur et j'arrête le programme (grosso modo). Et donc si c'est OK je lance l'action suivante, nouveau test, etc... Ce qui me fait imbriquer une condition pour chaque action et chaque test.
J'ai joint un exemple au cas où mon explication est pas claire.
Comme leur nom l'indique je me suis dit qu'une structure séquence pouvait peut être aider, mais je ne comprend pas à quoi elles servent étant donné qu'elles s'exécutent les unes à la suite des autres dès que toutes les "sorties" de l'une d'entre elle sont disponibles.

Regardes dans les exemples et essaie une structure machine d'état. C'est une boucle while, pilotée par un enum ou un numérique. Par exemple tu commences à l'étape 0, selon l'issue tu passes à l'étape x ou y, etc etc... tu as des multiples conditions, pas seulement 2 comme avec un booléen, pour traiter tes différentes étapes.

Pour utiliser votre cam�ra sous LabVIEW, vous devez avoir un driver, c'est-�-dire un jeu de fonctions (g�n�ralement sous forme de DLL) permettant de programmer, configurer et communiquer avec la cam�ra.
Ce driver doit �tre livr� par le fournisseur de la cam�ra afin de pouvoir la piloter par soft.
Il existe peut-�tre un driver pour votre cam�ra sp�cifique pour LabVIEW, c'est-�-dire un driver fournissant une palette de VIs permettant de r�aliser certaines fonctionnalit�s (configuration, utilitaire, acquistion, etc...).
Si ce driver pour LabVIEW n'existe pas mais que vous avez le driver sous forme de DLL, vous pourrez d�velopper des VIs appelant les fonctions de la DLL pour r�aliser les fonctions voulues (par exemple, r�cup�ration des octets dans le buffer d'acquisition dans le cadre d'une acquisition buff�ris�e, c'est-�-dire stockage de l'image dans la RAM du PC).
Les drivers d'instruments ne peuvent �tre d�velopp�s que par le constructeur de l'instrument et non pas par National Instruments qui d�veloppe le driver NI-IMAQ pour ses cartes d'acquisition VISION.
Pour info, il existe un module de traitement d'images pour LabVIEW "Module IMAQ Vision Development" qui est un toolkit regroupant des VIs pour analyser et traiter des images sous LabVIEW.
Donc OUI il est possible d'acqu�rir des images avec votre cam�ra sous LabVIEW, il vous faut imp�rativement le driver associ� (� demander aupr�s du fournisseur).
NON il n'existe pas un exemple NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS "tout fait" car c'est encore au constructeur de l'instrument et du driver de d�velopepr des exemples simples pour utiliser leur appareil sous LabVIEW. NI d�veloppe des exemples pour utiliser les mat�riels NI utilisant les drivers NI pour des environnements de d�veloppements comme LabVIEW ou Microsoft Visual C++ (ce n'est pas Microsoft qui fait des exemples pour communiquer avec une carte DAQ de NI par exemple).

Is Awesome Stable?

Hi,
I am in the process of testing some window managers as alternatives to Openbox and I would like to have the opinion of Archers about Awesome.
My concern is that I often hear of frequent breakages of the configuration files and I really don't want to start using, modyfing and customizing a WM that isn't stable. I don't have too much spare time and I need something that doesn't break at every update.
What I like about Awesome is that it seems very flexible and integrates lots of features other tiling WMs don't have, but I would like to be sure that once configured for the first time I can just keep using it rather than keep reconfiguring it.
So, present and past Awesome users, what is your opinion?

I've been using Awesome for a few months now and once you get used to its programmable configuration with lua, it's mind-boggling what you can achieve with it. The change from version 3.4.4 to 3.4.5 was trivial and caused me no trouble, although I appreciate how earlier rapid developments in configuration were much more frustrating.
Awesome has been very stable for me, and only a few minor bugs have arisen regarding titlebars and slightly increased memory usage - easily reduced by restarting Awesome with a keystoke on the odd occasion.
As an Openbox user for some time, I still have both WMs available, but Awesome has become my standard as it is so configurable.

Premiere Elements 13 does not support Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Mac OSX 10.7.
I have tried to push the Adobe ReadMe directive, using Windows XP as my test case. I could download
Premiere Elements 13 tryout from Adobe to my Windows XP SP3 32 bit computer, but I could not install it.
Please review and consider. Do you have Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit computer available to you for Premiere Elements 13?

Vos idées sont quelque chose considérer. Oui, l'iPod a pu avoir beaucoup plus d'options. Mais c'est un joueur de musique et de vidéo. Pour l'obtenir pour faire tout que chacun pourrait vouloir, ralentirait seulement l'iPod et le ferait que beaucoup plus difficile à employer.

Office Professional 2007 programmes always giving a Please wait whilst Windows configures M.O. Prof Plus 2007 upon opening

Very frustrating
Am on Windows Vista with service pack 2
My discs are for Office Professinal 2007 (doesnt say plus on the packaging so assume its not - contains word 2007, excel 2007, powerpoint 2007, outlook 2007 with BCM, publisher 2007 and access 2007)
Have uninstalled and reinstalled and this seemed to fix problem at first but a week later and the problem has started again.
Have tried the fix it for me options from support, no joy
Problem still occurs when holding ctrl during opening (safemode?)
No other versions of office installed on pc
Automatic updates are on (most recent important update for microsoft works couldnt install as dont have discs requested - Security Update for Microsoft Works 9 (KB2754670)
Have no idea what to try next please help!!

Unfortunately not and I ran all the commands for all the listed programmes.
What more can I do?
Do I need to find the residues and remove them - I wouldn't know where to look!
Could Microsoft Works be causing a conflict? Should I remove that?
Do I need to uninstall the whole suite again and re-install doing something different than the "recommended" options?

Nokia N97 mail programm losing configuration after...

Hi,
I've configured the email application that comes with N97 to store the emails in the E: unit (32gb the internal storage). All works smoothly until I connect the N97 to a PC using the massive storage mode, after this type of connection, when I disconnect the phone from the PC the email application returns to its initial configuration and try to load emails from C: unit, resulting in constant errors.
To solve the problem I have to go to the configuration and change the mail storage unit to E: each time I disconnect from the PC.
Is there a way to avoid this problem? or is this a bug?.

mccbleue: The N97 is the first phone I use that loses mail configuration, not temporally but in a permanent way, only because you connect it to a PC
When you connectto a PC in data transfer mode, the phone can no longer 'see' the mass memorybecause the mass memory is functioning as an external hard drive on the PC. Ifthe phone cannot 'see' the mass memory because it is performing a secondaryfunction, then it can't apply any settings to it, therefore your e-mailsettings is returning to the phone memory.
The behavior ofthe “beast” is not normal and is absolutely insane to have to reconfigure yourmail every time you connect the phone to a PC I “transfer mode”.
I can understandthat when you connect the phone to the PC your email “disappear” temporally,while you maintain the connection, as you said, the phone is not seeing the E:memory when connected in transfer mode. What I don’t understand is that whenyou disconnect the phone the mail configuration remains missing.
The normalbehavior, as for my point of view, is that the phone save the configuration sowhen you disconnect from the PC and the phone can see the E: Memory again itreturns to its configuration with your mail visible and the mail widget availableand properly configured.
Any behavior thatthat imply missing your email configuration only because you do a thing thephone is designed to do is a BUG, not normal behavior.

NationalInstruments.DAQmx.dll n'est qu'un assembly qui permet de faciliter la programmation des cartes NI en .NET.
Cet assembly appelle lui les fonctions des différentes DLLs du driver DAQmx et ces DLLs sont assez nombreuses, voici la liste des DLLs appellées par l'assembly pour .NET 4.0 :
Il faut alors inclure ces DLLs et les faire s'installer au bon endroit : C:\Windows\System32.

Issue with rightclicking in a text area which uses Squiggly

I have found an issue with using squiggly in a TextArea component.
I was able to simulate the same in the demo url . http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/squiggly/demo/#
The issue is when I enter a random text like "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" and then when I do a right click on the text area,
I get an exception as shown below.

Mac OSX 10.6.3, Flash 10.0.42.34, Firefox 3.6.3
Windows XP, Flash 10.0.45.2, IE 8.0.6001
Windows XP, Flash 10.1.53.21, Firefox 3.6.3
Could you provide more details about the software configurations you have that reproduces this problem?
Also, is there a specific location you click in the TextArea? On the word? On white space?
