Project 2013, code for PWA and Client

We are migrating from MS Project 2007 to 2013 and was wondering if there is any way to have VBA code that executes in the client for additional validation, customizations, etc to be able to be migrated to be able to run in when editing a project in Project
Center from PWA? I am guessing that it would involve two sets of code since it is two different platforms. Is there any easy way to ensure the same functionality in both environments, Client to PWA code generators or something like that?
I have looked and could not find anything but was hoping a software company would have created a utility/process to keep code that needs to run on both platforms in sync.

Some of that stuff will probably still require VBA, certainly those things to mentioned probably would. Depending on the validation of fields that could be server side so would work if you edit the project in Project Pro or PWA. If you are not familiar with
the server side / PWA options, take a look at the Project 2013 SDK to start with:

You have added a language to your project which you don't need. Look in the outline view at the bottom for the folder called langauges, then delete the second one. Both will be English and this cannot be the case on a DVD - the player will not know which assets to use on a menu if there are two langauges the same.
The languages are used when you want to create a disc that will display the correct menu backgrounds when used in players in different countries - the DVD player settings will have a language set up, and the DVD will use the appropriate language files to construct the menus accordingly.

Hi you have to split this idoc into ADRMAS and CREMAS, not possible to upload CREMDM directly to Sap.

Hello, I'm trying to burn a single layer DVD for a clent of mine and whenever I pressthebuiold/format button a error that states: (lanuage codes for 'english' and 'english-2' must differ) pop up. I have been using DVD studio for some time now and have never ran into this. I don't belive I have changed any settings. anyone have any answers?

Hi Mike
This is a common problem. You've added a second language by mistake and it's the same as the 1st one.
Look at the bottom of your outline and you'll see "English" and "English-1". Delete "English-1" and re-build.

am new to ODI and WLS and in my case ODI need to run on a server where a couple of clients can connect to, work on the same project with their own workspaces and accounts.
The database will be located on the same server.
As far as i understood, i need to install the the ODI Java EE type (not the standalone type) with a WLS ?!
iI already nstalled
JDK 6u41 (x64),
ODI 11g (11.1.1.6, generic),
Oracle DB 11g R2 enterprise and
WebLogic 11g (10.3.6, generic)
on the Server and now i am trying to connect to the ODI repositories from a client with an ODI standalone installation.
I am now trying to insert a Data Source into the physical agemt (not even sure if i need to do this in my case).
Following these instructions (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17904_01/integrate.1111/e12643/setup_topology.htm#CHDHJBAD) i get an ODI-26029 error.
Below are some configuration information of the software i installed.

since testing the connection on the server site failed in first place, i couldn't test the connection on the client site.

Outlook 2013 - Exchange 2013 - Prompts for username and password when EWS basic authentication is enabled

So we have an Exchange 2013 environment, and a CRM solution that requires basic authentication to EWS internally. Problem is, after a reboot of our Exchange server, all of our Outlook clients begin prompting for username and password (which nothing
works) which also starts locking users AD accounts out due to failed login attempts (somehow). If I disabled basic authentication on EWS, Outlook authenticates as normal using NTLM and there are no issues. Once Outlook has authenticated, I can
turn back on basic authentication, and Outlook will be fine until the next time the Exchange server is rebooted.
Any ideas?

According to your description, I understand that Outlook client prompted for username and password when Exchange server restart and basic authentication is enabled for EWS.
If I misunderstand your concern, please do not hesitate to let me know.
It’s normal. This caused by the difference between basic authentication and NTML authentication:
Basic, with any version of Outlook prior to 2010, results in a pop up dialog asking for creds. Outlook 2010 makes the 'save this password' actually work, so in an Outlook 2010 or later world, Basic can mean no need to authenticate every time you open/reconnect,
but in all earlier versions, you will have to enter creds every time.
NTLM, when used by a client that is domain joined and logged in with cached creds, results in the client simply sending the cached in creds to the server, resulting in what looks like a pretty seamless single sign on experience. However, if you want to do pre-authentication
at something like TMG, and not let the traffic go all the way to CAS, you need to configure TMG for this.

Hi Sakthi,
I am assuming that you are asking about the factory calendars which are assigned while difing the plant.
Factory calendars are created through transaction "SCAL".
Opening and closing of MM periods can be done through transaction MMPV.This is based on the company code.Before using MMPV ,you can look the last opened period in the transaction MMRV.
