Prolem when generating bitstream for OpenSparc T1 1.7 EDK design

Hi,
I tried to generate a bitsream (with XPS) for the ml411 system (without yet connecting to the platform). It failed and I couldn't find how to fix it. It is said "unknown -intstyle option" Here after are some parts of the console output (I can't post all the log, the size is too big):

You da man! I also had to add grpconv and chage to get filesystem working but all seems well now thanks!
Doug piston had me try something that I think will help anyone else who has this problem. Try re-installing pambase and shadow. It generated back most of any I was missing.

GRC 10.0 SP14 - Poblems when generating rules for logical systems

Hello Experts!
We recently updated a DEV system to SP14 and we're having issues regarding the rule set generation. I'd like to know if you have faced a similar problem after installing SP14. The details are described below:
Create a test function ZTEST_F1
The action PFCG is associated to a Physical System (Test Connector SP14) and to a Logical System (Sistema Logico Retail)
The logical system contains D05 among other connectors:
And it’s defined as a logical group:
The connector “test connector Sp14” points to the same system as D05.
Now I create another function, let’s say ZTEST_F2
Now let’s define a SoD Risk ZTSTSP14
Generate rules and after that we check GRACSYSRULE table for such risk and we get:

Now in the table we get:
The logical system has been added to the GRACSYSRULE table for the new combination and also the physical system TST_D05, but there's no combinations for the system D05 for example.
Now if we run SoD analysis:
We have four combinations for the physical system TST_D05 but only two for D05 that belongs to the logical system:
Do you have any clue? have you faced a similar problem?

First of all I want to thank you because after aplying the note the rules generated fine and now the Risk Analysis is OK for the example described above:
I've also tested with a huge number of risks and made a comparison between the results of the Physical conector and the Connector that belongs to a logical group and I got the same results as action level as well as Permission Level as expected.
Regarding the note itself, we usually check for notes and we have implemented many notes in advance related to rule generation issues.
The point is that, as my point of view is just not acceptable to get a new SP with this kind of issue. Rule generation is a core functionality and SAP must test such functionalities before releasing a SP and these checks cannot rely on the customer. For me, rule generation issues in GRC are just unnaceptable. I can accept issues with other modules or new functionalities, but with role generation they must guarantee that it works properly and perform the requiered tests before releasing an SP.
Well... bottom line the issue has been resolved and I really appreciate the help you provided!!!!

Bug - when generating DDL for table

I'm not sure if this has been logged yet or not, but when i click on the sql tab of a table it generates the ddl to recreate the table fine the first time.
However if i then click on another tab and then come back to the table tab, when i go to the sql tab within this table tab the ddl is still displayed on the tab but it tries to regenerate it and then freezes, i have to kill raptor and restart it.

I have the same problems with VIEWS.
Reproducing the error:
Open folder Views
Click on a view (opens window with all the view stuff, Columns, Data etc)
Click on tab SQL
Copy the select part
Open a worksheet and past the selected text
Go back to the View tab SQL with result Raptor hangs...(Generating DLL....)

Error in generating quota for unpaid leaves

hello gurus,
I have 3 Absence Quotas - (1) Annual Leave (2) Long Service Leave (3) Sick Leave
I have attached the same reduction rule for all 3 abs quotas
I generated Leave without pay for a day in the month of May 2011.
When generating quotas for May 2011 for Annual & Sick Leave its generating for 30 days but for Long Service Leave its generating for 31 days
Any idea how the quota generation goes wrong only for Long Service Leave ??

Photoshop Elements Organizer 11 crashes due to deadlock in the thread wait chain when creating thumbnails for *.mts (AVCHD) files

Hi,
the Elements Organizer 11 creates a deadlock in the wait chain when generating thumbnails for more than a handful of MTS (AVCHD) files.
After importing AVCHD files from my Canon video camera, the organizer using default settings always crashes. I was able to narrow down the problem to be caused by thumbnail generating.
After deactivating the automatic generation of thumbnails, the organizer does not crash any more upon launching .
Of course, working without thumbnails is not very practical. The next resort is manual trigger of thumbnail generation by selecting "update thumbnail".
If I manually trigger updating of thumbnails for files one by one, then it works for quite many files before crashing again.
Selecting thumbnail update for multiple files at once has a much higher likelihood to crash.
This does not seem to be related to particular file contents: a file that leads to crashing once may be flawlessly get a thumbnail created at the next attempt.

Occasionally, a different module is listed as erroneous instead of msvcrt.dll.
My questions:
- has anyone experienced the same problem?
- is this a known issue with Organizer 11?
- is the issue solved with Organizer 12?
I have Premiere Elements 11, Photoshop Elements 11 installed and not experienced any other issues with these applications.
Playback of said AVCHD (*.mts) files works flawlessly, i.e. I do not have any codec or performance issue on my PC.
Deactivation of anti-virus software has no significant effect. I have excluded video directories from scanning anyways.
Have deactivated face recognition, visual search and smart tagging in the organizer.
Have also disabled hyperthreading in the BIOS.
Using Windows XP compatibility settings for PSE somewhat improved the stability, but did not completely eliminate crashes.
Additionally, it signnificantly slows down thumbnail generation and a progress indication window becomes visible during thumbnail generation, which is barely noticable in native Win 8.1 mode.
Officially, Elements 11 is compatible with Windows 8.1.
There is a knowledgebase article related to Elements 6, which recommends to disable multi-threading and to enforce execution of Organizer on more than one core.
This reduces the problem a little bit, but thumbnailing more than a handful of files still leads to crashing.
By means of the task manager, I analyzed the wait chain of the process PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe:
Every time the fault occurs, it is caused by a deadlock in the wait chain.

When you said that you unisntall all other codec, what do you mean?
Codec Inside element software?
I have desable the automatic thumbnail and it still crash.
I'M running the software and trying to import more video files and the program keep crashing during the process of selecting the files in the directory to be imported.

System generate PR for Stock material when it goes below specific quantity

Hi Gurus,
My requirement is that system should generate PR for Stock material when it goes below specific quantity eg. 5 Qty. I think it is possible through MRP in that respective material master but I am not getting exactly what data I need to maintain their. Should I need to check/change any config setting?

actualy i am new to this area, for one material i checked its available stock, it was ZERO & MRP Type is "ND-No MRP Planning".
I changed its MRP type as you said to V1 or VB and maintained its Reorder point as 1.
Now, as this material in not available in stock ie. it means it falls below the Reorder point(ie. 1). now i checked in MD04, system won't generated PR. afterwords, I created Maint order & reserved the same material. again i checked in MD04 but system won't generated PR this time also.
plz suggest...even i am confused that, should i need do anything which i missed out?
MRP Run means what i need to do?

Errors/warnings occurred when generating the local proxy dll and VI wrappers for web service

I'm new to web services - trying to import a WSDL that was created by an outside vendor and placed on a company server. I imported a previous version successfully. The error I'm getting doesn't make a lot of sense to me, here it is:
The following errors/warnings occurred when generating the local proxy dll and VI wrappers for this web service.
Can't generate files.
Possible reasons are:
1. The output file(s) might be read-only.
Remove the read-only attribute and import the Web service again.
2. A proxy DLL that LabVIEW created under the same file path exists in memory.
Restart LabVIEW and import the Web service again.
I don't see any read-only attributes on the output files and I've tried restarting LabVIEW - no luck. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I was able to successfully import and run the web services from the WSDL file in question in LV2009 on a different computer than the one on which I had the original problem. Unfortunately I am still having the original problem on the project computer and will need to get it working there . . . still looking for a solution to that. Apparently LV2009 is perfectly capable of importing and running this WSDL file, but there is something still in the way on the project PC.

Explorer crashing when generating thumbnails view for large (4GB) video (.TS) files

I am suffering consistent application crashes in Windows Explorer when it tries to generate thumbnails.
The error is reported as COM Surrogate has stopped working with an APPCRASH of dllhost.exe in module msvcrt.dll.
This only but always happens in the following circumstances. A folder set to view tiles or icons (with thumbnail view option NOT disabled). This folder contains several sub-folders, each of which contain video files. As explorer scans the
folder and its sub-folders, generating thumbnails for each, whenever it encounters a video file (.TS) that is 3.99GB or larger. COM surrogate crashes again. Closing COM Surrogate will then allow explorer to continue to scan the remaining sub-folders
until it encounters the next large file.
If I subsequently open one of the sub-folders where it crashed trying to generate a thumbnail, and refresh the folder, it will successfully generate a thumbnail for the video file. If I then return to the main folder and change the customization of the sub-folder
from video to document and back to video, explorer then successfully generates the folder icon with the inset video thumbnail.
I have tried this in safe mode and the problem persists.
Can anybody please help as I am pulling my hair out.

Almost all of my media files are TS, and all of my large (4GB) files are TS files, so I cannot tell if other file types have the same problem. I did try renaming the TS files to be .mpg (they still play as mpg) but this did not help.
However, I have downloaded and used ShelleExView and this has proved very useful. For the benefit of anyone else with a similar problem and using this very useful tool, I will detail the technique I used.
First, using ShellExView, I disabled various groups of extensions to identify which, if any, were relevant. After disabling/enabling each set I performed a system restart to ensure the changes took effect. This was not actually necessary as restarting
Windows Explorer (via Task Manager) works equally well (but this loses my customm Taskbar toolbar).
Also, before re-opening the folders containing the problem files, I deleted the icon cache (I could have done this manually but chose to use CCleaner's delete Thumbnail Cache option as this was quick and easy). I then viewed the folders containing
the problem files, watching to see what effect the changes in ShellExView had made.
Using ShellExView, I progfessively disabled by Type (e.g. Thumbnail, Icon Handler), then by Company (e.g. non-Microsoft), then by Product (e.g. MS Office, Windows Search). The result was that I identified the extension that was creating the thumbnails:
Icaros Thumbnail Provider (installed as part of the K-Lite codec pack).
Hoping I had found the cause, I removed K-Lite from my system and checked again. No thumbnails (as expected), but COM Surrogate continued to crash (I have subsequently reinstalled K-Lite as I need this to play my media files). Further analysys
with ShellExView then identified a further problem extension: Microsoft's MF MPEG Property Handler.
With both extensions (Icaros Thumbnail Provider & MF MPEG Property Handler) disabled, COM Surrogate does not crash. With either one enabled, but not the other, COM Surrogate crashes. These two extensions are therefore both individually causing
the crashes. This leads me to wonder if they perhaps have something in common (e.g. a dll).
Although disabling these extensions stops the crashes, I of course alos lose what they provide: file details (e.g. media length etc.) and thumbnails. So simply disabling them is not a solution.
Is it possible to idenitfy what, if anything, they have in common (which may be the true culprit)?

Unknown charecters for polish letters in pdf when generated through RAD.

Hi,
I have created a report in Crystal Reports which extracts data from SQL Server database.
In crystal report viewer, when i extract to pdf or any other form , i get expected result.
When I use this .rpt file in my application which is deployed in my server ( RAD7.0 ), in the browser i get expected crystal report but when I extract to pdf file, I get unknown characters instead of polish charecters.All other formats work fine excluding pdf.
Am I missing any updated plugin in RAD. or something to set up in Crystal report.

How to generate XML for following?

Hello Everyone,
I have following snippet of PLSQL code with for loops and record type arrays. Each loop can return separate number of rows and iterate that many times. For e.g. the for loop tab_rec may fetch 50 rows where as the for loop sql_rec may return 80 rows.
I need to acoomodate all of these record arrays into a single xml file. Each for loop will repreesent one data set. Something like this.

<set value = tab_rec(kounter).tvalue >
<set value = ?
</dataset>
Questions:
1) How can I dynamically generate just one single XML file for all for loops metnioend below in this message?
2) How can I dynamically generate tags for e.g. <set> tag above if I put XMLELEMENT() under a for loop kounter. To explain this in a better way consider pseudo code example below.

*<set value = *?* -- How do i generate these <set> tags when tebrec(i).value will return many rows?*_

I have pasted the complete code that will show the relation ship between data and XML. What I am trying to do here is to prepare smal packets of XML through XML element and then roll it up to a final grand CLOB variable. and pass that through XML creation. I have used DBMS_JAVA package to append clobs.

Unable to generate spool for two tables in report output

Hi,
I created report with two custom containers displaying two tables in output. When I execute the report in background spool is created only for one table in top custom container.
What should be done to generate spool for both the tables in two different custom containers.

Unpivot task is generating rows for null inputs

So I have a C# application (VS 2012 with .NET4.5) that builds SSIS (SQL2012) packages programatically. the packages can be opened in the designer and they run fine. However, there is one case that is giving me a problem. I have an
OleDb source connected to a table in SQL server. I am using the unpivot task to convert columns in a sparse matrix to an Entity Attribute Value model. So basically, the primary key value of the source table is a pass-through value in the unpivot
task, each column is mapped to the destination column, and the attribute id is hard coded as the pivot key. Like i said this works great EXCEPT i came across one column and a table that was null for all the rows in the table. when I run the package,
it fails with:

So I set up a data viewer on the data flow and found that the unpivot component was generating rows for every null value. not only that, but the values for the key column and the attribute id (which was hard coded) were also null for all the rows
sent from the unpivot to the ole db destination. I manually created a package with an unpivot for just the column in question and got the same result. then I inserted a value for every row in the table and the same package runs fine.
can someone offer any help or advice on what might be causing this?

Generating hashes for multiple shares in one folder using BranchCache Publish-BCFileContent -Path

When using Publish-BCFileContent to generate hashes for multiple shared directories that are all within the same parent directory, can I just specify the parent directory as the "-Path" parameter or do I need to run the cmdlet for each share
separately?
For example:
My file server has 3 separate shared folders:
E:\Shares\Documents
E:\Shares\Music
E:\Shares\Pictures
(E:\Shares is not directly shared)
To generate hashes for all 3 shared directories to export to a remote hosted cache computer could I run the Publish-BCFileContent cmdlet just once with just E:\Shares as the -Path parameter?
Publish-BCFileContent -Path E:\Shares -StageData
Or do I need to run the cmdlt 3 separate times as below?
Publish-BCFileContent -Path E:\Shares\Documents -StageData
Publish-BCFileContent -Path E:\Shares\Music -StageData
Publish-BCFileContent -Path E:\Shares\Pictures -StageData

If there are only these three subfolders under the directory E:\Shares, you can try the cmdlet:
Publish-BCFileContent -Path E:\Shares -StageData -Recurse
Use the recurse parameter to specify that hashes are created for content in subfolders. If you do not use this parameter, then hashes are created only for content in the top folder and no hashes are created for content in subfolders.
If there are other folders under D:\Shares, you need to run the cmdlet separately, and you can also use the cmdlet foreach to loop every folders (E:\Shares\Documents, E:\Shares\Music, E:\Shares\Pictures):
$folders = "E:\Shares\Documents","E:\Shares\Music","E:\Shares\Pictures"
