Proper way to link files

Question

I’m trying to create a *.cp Movie and run it from a
MenuBuilder file (*.mgp) which itself is run from ANOTHER
Menubuilder file.
What is the correct procedure?
1. Create a Captivate Movie (*.cp); Save it.
2. Publish it as *.exe or *.swf or whatever.
3. Create MenuBuilder file#1: (*.mgp) (This is the Top Level
Menu); Save it.
4. Export as *.exe or *.swf or whatever.
5. Create MenuBuilder file#2: (*.mgp) (This is the Second
Level Menu which is run from the Top Level Menu); Save it.
6. Export as *.exe or *.swf or whatever.
Linking the Movie and the Menus:
Should the Menubuilder file#1(Top Level menu) (*.mgp) file
link to
the Menubuilder file#2 (Second level Menu) *.exe file?
OR
Should the Menubuilder file#1(Top Level menu) (*.mgp) file
link to
the Menubuilder file#2 (Second level Menu) *.mgp file?
AND
Should the Menubuilder file#2(Second Level menu) *.mgp or
*.exe file link to
the Captivate *.cp file?
OR -
Should the Menubuilder file#2(Second Level menu) *.mgp or
*.exe file link to
the Captivate *.exe file?
What is the correct combination of files?
