Property Editor failed! for workset creation

Hi All,
I am getting "Property Editor failed!" when i create a new workset in EP.i am not seeing any properties window for the workset at all.any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Aravind,
When asking a question, can you try to be just a little more precise: At what point do you get the error? When you click Finish to create the workset, or when you open up the workset in the Portal Catalog? What version are you using? Any other special features of your portal or landscape?

Upgrading to JSF 1.2, error: Property Editor not registered

we have a JSF appliction working well on Jboss 4.0.5GA using myfaces 1.1. Now we are moving to jboss 5.0.1GA that uses jsf ri 1.2. After fixing some issues, finally we got the following error for our custom component at runtime:

org.apache.jasper.JasperException: Unable to convert string "#{bean.name}" to class "javax.el.ValueExpression" for attribute "value": Property Editor not registered with the PropertyEditorManager.

It works for myfaces 1.1 version. What is the possible reason? Thanks for any information.

We are using weblogic10.3
We had MyFaces jars and things are very fine. We are planning to use Iceface which required JSF 1.2
I had taken jsf-api-1.2.jar and jsf-impl-1.2.jar and latest supporting jars.
Now I am getting below error with existing jsp

Hi I am migarating an application from weblogic 9.2 to weblogic 10.3. I am using tomhawk jsf libaray 1.10.While migarting i am getting an error
I checked all the compatibilty ...servelet 2.5. I also kept valid webxml for servlet 2.5 etc. But still i am getting the same error.

Missing Property Editor for worksets and roles

Hello,
I created a role and different worksets.
Now i woud like to set the Entry-Point of some worksets to "yes". But if i open the workset from the Portel-Content-Menu, there is no property-editor opened. Only the object-editor is opened.

Probably he wants the workset to be a part of the TLN and not the role. In this situation it makes sense for the workset to be the entry point.

I didnt quite understand the meaning when you said that it opens the object editor and not the properties of the workset. Could you check if the workset object is locked.

Portmap translation creation failed for udp src inside dst inside

Hi!
I have a problem with allowing traffic to UC500 subnets on ASA 5505 inside interface.
My asa is a main router with addres 192.168.1.1
UC500 voip box is connected to ASA's inside interface through UC500 WAN port with UC500 with 192.168.1.2 address.
Firewall and NAT on UC500 is disable
UC500 sip traffic works fine. voipbox creates its subnets for data and voip - 192.168.10.0 and 10.1.1.0. another important address is 10.1.10.1 which is UC500 CUE.
My problem is that from within ASA local network (192.168.1.0) i cannot reach UC500 subnets, neither can I reach ASA's local network from the UC subnets.

I tried exempting uc500 subnets on ASA but that didn;t work.
Funny thing is that I CAN reach the UC500 subnets when connecting with VPN to ASA...
Please help! I am not familiar with CLI.
I configured static route to 10.1.10.0 and since then I was able to ping 10.1.10.1 thorugh ASA;s VPN.
I would be grateful for ideas.

I have managed to solve my main problem by reconfiguring my switches vlans - enabling trunk port configs for required ports and allowing them access to both vlans.
Now I can see everything from all of my inside networks.
I continue my ASA adventures - I have managed to configure L2TP client access for my windows users, RADIUS authentication for domain users and yesterday night I have managed to configure site to site VPN with my RV120W router.

VPN problem behind ASA5505 -regular translation creation failed for protocol 50

Dear All,
I have to connect behind my ASA5505 with an VPN klient to an other site.
First time i got this failure.
"Deny protocol 50 src inside:192.168.50.X dst outside:x.x.x.x by access-group "acl_in" [0x0, 0x0]"
Than I opened our inside (src 192.168.50.0) network the UDP 500,4500 TCP 500,4500,10000 and ESP (dest x.x.x.x remote firewall ip).

After that i could connect for the remote firewall with vpn client but i couldn't reach any PC1s on there side and ping gives back no anwser.
Deny protocol 50 was solved but i got an other problem:
"regular translation creation failed for protocol 50 src inside:192.168.50.X dst outside:x.x.x.x"
I found somewhere thet lines can help:
crypto isakmp nat-traversal
inspect ipsec-pass-thru
But this wasn't usefull.
I tried a many thing but i'm stuck.
Could somebody help me what can i do to solve this problem?

Background job fails for BDC profile creation and role assignment

Hi Experts,
I have created a BDC Function module for Tcode 'PFCG' for profile creation and role assignment, and called this FM in my zprogram. the problem is that when i run this program in foreground it executes succesfully, but if i schedule it in background it fails throwing error in job log 'Role 'Z...' does not contain any active authorizations'. But i have created one more program to create authorization objects which runs before this zprogram.I have also checked the authorization object in 'RSECADMIN', it reflects active. I dont understand whats happening exactly when it runs background.
Below is the process of job

The problem is in second program, runs in foreground but fails in background.

We have an issue during setup of a Standalone development configuration in NWDI with CM Services. During saving the following error occurs:
"Unable to save development configuration: Unable to create build location "SPO" on build tool "http://qpmr-nw01.sap:50000" using user "NWDI_CMSADM" [DICONF_CREATEBUILDLOCATION]: CBS Server Error: Internal server error( internal code: INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR)"
The trace logs contains additionally the following errors:
"FAILURE to unset the owner-buildspace property on workspaces for buildspace: SPO caused due to an exception. Invalid cookie domain .sap. This may cause problems during future creation of buildspaces for the workspaces associated with this buildspace. Manual unset may be required."
"Unable to create build location "SPO" on build tool "http://qpmr-nw01.sap:50000" using user "NWDI_CMSADM" [DICONF_CREATEBUILDLOCATION]: CBS Server Error: Internal server error( internal code: INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR)
[EXCEPTION]

Does this have something to do with our domain name which ends with .sap?

yes, that is what I was afraid of.
Let's try something else.
Surely the problem seems to be related to the domain that is using the string "sap".
Or at least this is what I can also see in the error message :Invalid cookie domain .sap.
Can you please try with IP ? Go to CMS Track Data, and specify the CBS and DTR URLs via IP.

LOok for Emergeny help about Property editor not visible

For some reason, my Property Editor window of Workshop is not visible any more. I have tried restart workshop and from possible menus.
I have read a posting dated Mar 10, 15,17 by Jared, Judecki, he said even by restall the workshop, the problem still there. He talked about editing a properties file that Weblogic placed in Window's profile
(which related with the window's location.
I post this problem again want to get tour response especially from Jared Judecki, if you know what's the name of properties file and how to edit it, also if you know the email of Jared Judecki, that's of great help.

Did you try selecting portal components like books, pages, portlets. I have seen this problem too. But it would go away when you restart workshop.

Generic Property Editor-like panel for generic variable editing

I am looking for a TreeTable like interface to modify a rather large list of hierarchical parameters. These parameters for example can be a bunch of class variables that may be written to a "configuration file" later on. For example:
ParamSetA (expand/collapse available)

|-------> ParamA2_name, ParamA2_value
|-------> ParamSetB
|-------> ParamB1_name, ParamB1_value
|-------> ParamB2_name, ParamB2_value

Ideally, I really like the built-in property editor found say in NetBeans, or those used to edit bean properties. An example is found [in this image|http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/figures/javabeans/customization.gif], But I am not sure how to implement it so that it edits generic data (i.e. class variables) and not specific bean data.
I understand regular tables are editable, but I like being able to expand/collapse sets to simplify the view. I understand TreeTables are available, but I haven't seen implementations for things other than a file browser, but I'm fairly new to swing.
Any recommendations on built-in java capabilities that will help with this above concept?

You are going to have to pick a specific tree table. Hard to help you with an implementation when you haven't even chosen which component you are using. I recommend SwingX's TreeTable:

Dynamic Property Editor for a Component

Have a requirement to show the properties of a given component when the component is selected by the user in a nice property editor within Webcenter. The component will be part of a Fusion Web application (ADF). Can we surface the properties of the component via introspection at runtime from a Fusion Web application (ADF) within WebCenter for DT@ RT. Does Webcenter have any property editor which introspects and displays the component properties, say the properties of a Java Data Transfer Object in this case.

"Login Failed for user" in Standard Report Creation Wizard

I am trying to create a report using the report wizard in CR 08. When I choose new connection ==> OLE DB(ADO)==>Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server and enter the Server and user ID (no password), I get the error "Login failed for users".
SQL State: 42000
[DataBase Vendor Code: 18456]
I was using CR 10 and called the 1-866 # and was told to try it wil CR 08 and Im getting the same error. I know the log on information is correct because I use the same server name and userID to login with SQL Server management studio and Visual Studio 08.
Please let me know what I can do to link CR to my SQL Database.

How is your user accessing the site?
Did you extend it to a different zone, and if so what authentication provider are you using for that zone or is it the same zone?
Looks like the domain is a workstation name? are they logging in with valid credentials for the WIN-IMH9QUCN1FU workstation, which may be different than what they usually log in as?

MS SQL: Mnt Plan creation message: "Create failed for JobStep "Subplan"

Hi, We have installed MS SQL 2005 from the SAP Business One CDs. We have SAP version 2007a installed also. When I use the MS SQL "wizard" ro create a maintenance plan I get the "Create failed for JobStep "Subplan" message ... the detailed message says "The specified " '@subsystem' is invalid
I have sucessfully created maintenanc eplans on similar installations....
