Protecting emails addresses from spam in IWeb???

Question

I want to protect the email addresses that I am creating in a website from getting spammed with junk. I understand how to use the inspector, etc however that does not protect anything. Is there some code that we could use besides this:

because this does not seem to work, at least for me (nothing shows up in the box). Please let me know if there is an easier way to handle this. Thanks!

UPDATE: You can add <font color="#FF9933" face="Tahoma">Email Me</font> instead of the default Email Me in the second method to change the font and color of the link. Just be sure to use Web Safe Fonts so all platforms will look the same.
If you cut and paste the above text you'll get *& l t ;* (without the space between) in liu of <. Have to use those characters so you can see what the code looks like. So replace them with < when you enter it. Also change the color code to get the color you want.
