Provider com.sun.xml.internal.ws.spi.ProviderImpl not found

I'm trying to run a webservice client on jdk1.5 and gives me the following error:
javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException: Provider com.sun.xml.internal.ws.spi.ProviderImpl not found
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

openJDK doesn't contain sun packages.Great, but OpenJDK exists since Java 6 and this issue is about Java 5. jtahlborn's reply is still the relevant one.

  • Cant import com.sun.xml.internal.ws.spi

    I was intalled NetBeans IDE 6.1, JDK/JRE 1.6.0_07.
    but
    import com.sun.xml.internal.ws.spi.ProviderImpl;
    This statement comes an error (package com.sun.xml.internal.ws.spi does not exist )
    but JDK6(rt.jar) has this package and class.
    why this happen?

    Probably it wasn't his fault:

  • How to handle the exception com.sun.xml.internal.messaging.saaj.SOAPExcepn

    hi,
    I am accessing wsdl to get all the required data and the connection is establishing successfully thru java code but when i am calling the create user api the following exception is coming
    "com.sun.xml.internal.messaging.saaj.SOAPExceptionImpl: No NamespaceURI, SOAP requires faultcode content to be a QName"
    please tell me what is faultcode means and how to solve this exception

    Hi,
    Whenever there is any error inside the WebService or while it's processing ...it throws Exceptions ..We can handle these exception by our own to make the Exception details more readable.....For that we can create our own SOAPFault message...
    Please refer to the below Posts...
    1). If you are using JAXWS Style of WebService then : http://middlewaremagic.com/weblogic/?p=713
    2). If you are using JAXRPC Style of WebService then : http://middlewaremagic.com/weblogic/?p=721

    I'm working on a Java Aplication and when I run the Application with Jdeveloper 11 I get this error
    javax.xml.rpc.ServiceException: Provider com.sun.xml.rpc.client.ServiceFactoryImpl not found
    When I run the Application with Jdeveloper 10.1.3 and it's works fine.
    What is the cause?
    thanks

    You may wish to compare the jar files referenced in both versions of JDeveloper, I did a quick Google search and found the following page which lists the .jar files that contain this class:

    WIS is not suppported on WLS JAX-WS. You'll need to use other authentication mechanisms such as http basic (which you tried already), or message-level security such as UNT, or SAML.

  • Com.sun.corba.ee.impl.encoding.CDRInputStream  not found

    i get this classdef not found error when starting OC4J
    Does anyone know what jar is this a part of?

    Hello,
    Which kind of applications do you have deployed in your OC4J?
    Which version of OC4J are you using on which OS?
    I cannot find it in a working OC4J, using the classloader query utility. When I google this class I find some exception regarding glassfish, and not directly this class.
    Could you please post the full stack trace?

    Hi. I am having the same trouble, Vista NetBeans 6.1

    Hi all,
    I compared the wsdl sent by the gSOAP server and the jax-ws server and there are not similar !
    this can explain that I have a nullPointerExcpetion when I use a gSOAP server
    How I can do ? Why the wsdl sent are not the same ?

  • Web Service error com.sun.xml.ws.fault.SOAPFaultBuilder.disableCaptureStack

    Hi,
    I have implemented a Java class which calls some XML RPC 3.0 proxy methods.
    If I test the method input inside a "main ()" method and get the output, it works nice.
    The XML RPC 3.0 procy method is also invoked and there is no problem.
    However, when I expose this java class as a "web service" and invoke the web service from the JDeveloper integrated console or
    even an external test client running on a browser, I get the error mentioned below.

    Hello AYVR
    I found your post because I want to suppress the stack trace in my response of the web service. I put the -Dcom.sun.xml.ws.fault.SOAPFaultBuilder.disableCaptureStackTrace=false parameter in the setDomainEnv.cmd in the bin directory of my domain. Maybe this is also a solution for you.
    Cheers Chris

    I have seen this error when I'm executing inside one of the (j2ee sun reference implementation) server containers (either web or ejb). I believe its caused by "something" having previously loaded the "sax 1 driver class". In my case, I think the container or server is loading the sax parser from a jar that contains a sax 1 version. If you can, ensure that nothing is loading the sax 1 parser from another jar on your system. Verify that you are loading the sax parser from a jar containing the latest version so that you get the sax 2 compliant parser. Good luck!

  • JAX RI:javax.activation.DataHandler cannot be cast to com.sun.xml.ws.....

    I'm newbie in web services, and I would like to create web service for upload files.
    Axis2 is installed, and I tried to implement some solutions I found on the web, but i got an error:
    javax.activation.DataHandler cannot be cast to com.sun.xml.ws.developer.StreaminDataHandler
    on server side code looks like:
    @WebMethod(operationName = "getHeight")
    public int getHeight(String name, @XmlMimeType("application/octet-stream") DataHandler data) {
    StreamingDataHandler dh = (StreamingDataHandler) data; //this is where error occurs..
    on client side:
    tt=new javax.activation.FileDataSource("c:\\myImage.jpg");
    dhh=new javax.activation.DataHandler(tt);
    int r=port.getHeight("name", dhh);
    tnx :)

    Hi dKohlert,
    I have now changed my code completely and got it working this way !

        public SOAPMessage invoke(@WebParam(name = "logoutRequest") SOAPMessage logoutRequest ){
            return logoutRequest;
        }Thanks anyway for your reply. If I find some time I will try to use the apt-tool.

  • How to get the " com.sun.xml.* " package?

    In a java xml sample, it uses a class "com.sun.xml.tree.XmlDocument". Its author said it is a internal class.But I can't find the class in "com.sun" package. Please tell me how to get the class?
    Thanks very much!

    This set of classes was available in the J2ee.jar that was packaged with j2sdkee1.2.1, This set of classes is NOT in the j2ee.jar of the j2sdkee1.3.1. After we upgraded, we started to get these errors ... have no idea where/if these classes are still available as add on api or not. I downloaded the the java xml pack and this class is not available in any of the jars contained within.

  • Com.sun.xml.tree

    Hi all,
    I am new to JAVA's XML related capabilities. I am trying to compile a program which imports com.sun.xml.tree for some reason. But I am not able to find which jar file it actually needs for this package and where to get it from. Can somebody please help?
    Thanks alot,
    Ritesh Maheshwari

    This is a common problem that is a result of improper use of the JAXP libraries.
    The com.sun.xml.tree package is an implementation package that was part of the JAXP 1.1 (I culd be wrong about the number) but is not part of the new versions that come with 1.4.
    The person whoe wrote the code should never have used that package directly. In fact if you look at the Java docs for that package is specifically states not to use the classes directly.
    Most likely the code uses the conm.sun.xml.tree.XmlDocument class to write a DOM document to a file.
    If that is the case I can provide replacement code that will work in 1.4

    Thanks in advance.It's a good thing you can't find it anyways, because it is not a standard class. Nothing from com.sun.* should be directly used - only java.*, javax.* (and other names that come with the JRE), your own packages, and true 3rd-party packages. com.sun.* doesn't fit any of those categories, they're internal classes (I'm pretty sure anyway).
