Please , we need to delete the existing row in dbowner table or any other solution. It seems you ran more than once this script. As I already said to you above, you MUST use a 32bit Oracle client against your 64bit Oracle database from a Windows workstation, are you ?
Furthermore, Oracle db and Peoplesoft are not certified on Windows 7...
Lastly, or you remove that line from the script, or you delete that row (all rows) from that table, or you re-create database from scratch (I mean drop and recreate) because running this script more than once is never good, especially regarding the DMS import.

    Hi Everyone,
Need your assistance. Perhaps someone of you encountered this already. I have completed setting up everything until the application server part. If I try to boot the application server I get the error below. I have tried several solution published in Oracle Support and these did not resolve the issue.

  • Missing or invalid version of SQL library PSORA (200,0)

I am trying to configure App. Server on Vista laptop machine.
    The machine name is VRGhati03.
It is a logical 3 tier archtecture. Its a EPM 9.0 Install. My database (PFDMO) is all configured and I am able to signon using a User ID VP1 and password VP1. My connect id is people with password of peop1e.
    My access id is SYSADM.
I have created a user id in Oracle as VP1 and granted him the PSADMIN role .
When I try to boot up the App. Server it tells me ' Missing or invalid version of SQL Library PSORA' and 'Could not sign on to database PFDMO with user VP1'
The VP1 sign on works via SQLPLUS.
I also created a User Account of VP1 and tried to boot the appserver under that id but still no success.
I have gone thru some of the postings on this topic but they have not helped me. What am I doing wrong?
Below are the details of the log files, portion of my psappserv.cng file and the system environment variables.
Can somebody help. Thanks in advance

  • PeopleTools 8.53 , 9.2 Install - Missing or invalid version of SQL library

    Hello All
    I am installing 9.2 / 8.53 on a Windows 7 Professional (64 Bit) Machine
I have installed Oracle 11g 32 bit (Server and Client) edition that has the following paths:
    C:\oracle\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1 and
    C:\oracle\product\11.2.0\client_1
    I can connect to DB with SYSADM , PS accounts with no issues and also to App Designer and Data Mover ;
I am trying to configure App Server. The Tuxedo is 64 bit. Installed this with no issue.
On the PSAdmin configuration for App Server, I have provided the path of C:\oracle\product\11.2.0\client_1\bin.
When trying to boot, it gives me the below errors in log file:
PS General SQL Routines: Missing or invalid version of SQL library PSORA64 (200,0)
    and stderr file has:
    LoadLibraryA() in pscompat.dll failed for 'PSORA64.dll': reason=126
    How to fix this?

Your DB should already have been installed on 64 bit Oracle Server.
The Application server, as stated in the installation manual in Task 8A-4: Creating, Configuring, and Starting an Initial Application Server Domain:
Enter 20 for AddToPATH, and enter the path to the 64-bit connectivity software
If DB and Appserver are on the same server you can reuse the DB libs, otherwise you need to install a 64 bit Oracle Client for the application server
    Note:
Application Designer, Datamover, etc still need 32 bits Oracle Client for connectivity.

  • Missing or invalid version of SQL Library PSORA with 8.50

Although unsupported, I am trying to get a HCM 9.1 on PT 8.50.05 running on a 64 bit Windows 7 Pro laptop. Running 11.1.0.7 Windows 2008 64 bit Oracle. I installed the 32 bit Oracle 11.1.0.7 client for Win2008 also.
Every thing seems OK until I try to start an App Server domain. I can login two-tier via PS. I can connect sqlplus with SYSADM and people. I ran the VERSION AE process without incident. Datamover runs fine with PS and bootstrap.
When I try to boot my domain, I get the "Missing or invalid version of SQL library PSORA (200,0)" error. In stderr file it notes "LoadLibraryA() in pscompat.dll failed for 'PSORA.dll': reason=126".
I have the path to my 32bit client files within the app servers' AddtoPath setting. I even tried using the UseLocalOracleDB settings but that didn't help either.
Any of you smart folks have any suggestions (aside from using a Supported OS and calling Oracle support)?

I set the app server log fence to 5 and it still doesn't provide any real insight. Sorry if this i little long:

getting this error when starting app designer after new installation. "Missing or invalid version of SQL library PSORA"

Add a oracle_home to your environment variable with the path of your oracle home. That should take care that error.

  • What causes the Missing or invalid version of SQL library PSORA (200,0)?

What causes the Missing or invalid version of SQL library PSORA (200,0) in PeopleTools 8.51 Application Designer?

Could be several things. Bad path, bad version, etc. give us details on your client install. What Oracle client do you have installed. App Designer is 32 bit. If you installed the 64 bit client you might get this error. What OS are you using. PeopleTools version? guessing 8.51 from your other post.

  • Missing or invalid version of SQL library PSORA (200,0) in Datamover

I saw the discussiion about this error and didnt see the resolution for my case and so started a new one .
    I am installing a 9.1 HCM on Oracle 10g on a Windows server 2008 machine .
After completing all the sql scripts in sysdba mode , I tried to login into Datamover to create the demo database and saw this error .
I even restarted the server a couple of times and am still getting this error .
I installed oracle and tools on the 'I' drive on the main server and not on the 'C' drive .
Any suggestions is appreciated as I have been trying to fix this for the last two day's

Whether PTools 8.50 are 64bit compliant, to be installed on 64bit OS, you still need the 32bit Oracle client libraries on Windows.
Please, confirm you installed 32bit Oracle client and configured the PTools to run with it.

  • Error - "Missing or invalid version of SQL library PSORA (200,0)"

I get this error when trying to log into PS 8.9 or 9.0 App Designer. Nothing in our setup has changed such as tnsnames, sqlnet.ora, etc
Does anyone know what causes this error?
    Thanks,
    Allen Cunningham
    DBA - Sonoma State University

    Hi Allen,
I came across this error few times, this usually happened when user's didn't reboot or shutdown their PC's for weeks or months. Some times rebooting atleast twice a week solved this issues and in some cases we had to re-install Oracle client.
May be PS CACHE issue.. i think.. but anywayz rebooting machine or re-installation of Oracle solved the issue, so never looked into as what caused this to happen.
    Thanks,
    Chris.

  • Pointers for upgrading to new version of SQL Server?

    We're running SAP Business One 2007 A (8.00.181) SP:00 PL:49
At the moment we have a dedicated server computer to host the SQL databases for this product. The server computer is 32-bit Windows Server 2003. The database server is SQL Server 2005 32-bit. This server was purchased in fall 2006 and had a fast disk subsystem for its day: 5x 15K UltraSCSI hard drives in RAID5.
We have several company databases, some of which are in the 12 - 13GB range in size. There are occasions where two or more of these large-ish databases may be in use simultaneously. Since SQL Server on the current server limits itself to 2GB RAM usage, I suspect there is a lot of paging to disk when multiple company databases are open, with a major hit on performance.
Windows Server 2003 goes end-of-life on July 15, 2015. SQL Server 2005 end-of-life is April 14, 2016. As part of a refresh of company IT infrastructure, we're considering replacing various physical servers with virtual servers. Ideally, we'd like to migrate the backend to a current version of SQL Server on a current Windows server OS, and also move to a 64-bit platform so we can allocate more RAM to SQL Server. We may also host virtual hard drive file(s) on SSD if/where that makes sense.
    What I've found so far:
All the current SAP databases are Compatibility Level 90 (native SQL Server 2005)
The latest version of SQL Server that supports Compatibility Level 90 is SQL Server 2012. SQL Server 2014 drops support for 90. I assume it's a bad idea to change the database compatibility level?
If for any reason we have to stick with SQL Server 2005, the latest version of Windows that supports that is Server 2008 R2. That's not ideal, since in a perfect world we would want all virtual machines running Server 2012 R2
Moving to a 64-bit version of SQL Server requires a so-called "side-by-side" upgrade, it's not possible to use a SQL Server upgrade wizard
The VAR we used to install and configure the product in 2006 is no longer in business so we'd like (if possible) to do this ourselves. I'm a software developer familiar with client-server development, SSMS etc. so I feel reasonably confident in undertaking a side-by-side upgrade.
So, assuming we'd like to migrate the backend to 64-bit SQL Server 2012, can anyone offer any pointers, experiences, or things to watch out for?
There are also some services running on the current server computer, which I'm assuming will also need to be migrated:
    SAP Business One Integration Service
SAP Business One License Manager 2007
    SAP Business One Messaging Service
I get the feeling other people may have asked similar questions before, but I couldn't find any relevant posts.
Thanks in advance for any help.

You probably need to do an installer file clean up for Apple Software Update with the Microsoft Installer Cleanup Utility.
Here is a method for removal and clean up of iTunes and related programs. You might get away with just doing the Apple Software Update part rather than the whole thing. I would try just removing and cleaning ASU first.
Download a fresh copy of iTunes and the stand alone version of Quicktime (the one without iTunes)
    http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install Microsoft Installer cleanup utility, there are instructions on the page as well as the download. Note that what you download is the installer not the program – you have to run it to install the program.
To run the program – All Programs>>Windows Install Cleanup
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301/
Now use the following method to remove iTunes and its components:
    XP
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925
    Vista
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923
*If you hit a problem with one of the uninstalls don't worry*, carry on with the deleting of files and folders as directed in the method.
When you get to deleting Quicktime files in the system32 folder as advised in the method, you can delete any file or folder with Quicktime in the name.
    Restart your PC.
Run the Microsoft Installer Cleanup Utility. (Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up)
Remove any references you find to the programs you removed - strictly speaking you only need to worry about those programs where the uninstall failed.
If you don’t see an entry for one of the programs that did not uninstall, look out for blank entries or numeric entries that look like version numbers e.g. 7.x for Quicktime or 1.x for Bonjour.
    restart your PC
Install the stand alone Quicktime and check that it works.
    If it does, install iTunes.

    Greetings:
Thanks for your help in advance...
Towards the end of IFS installation, I get the following error in my

    Problem is Fixed !!!
We were having this problem because IFS installation was not recognising a separate tablespace which we created for IFS, so we started using default USERS tablespace after which the installation was successful.
    Thanks.
