PSA data cannot be seen error

Hi all,
I am getting one differnt error when tried to see PSA data in production system. When clicked on PSA and selected request to see data it gives following eoor screen
<b>An internal error occurred in the data maintenance module
Diagnosis
An internal error occurred in the module for data display / maintenance (RSAR_DATA_MAINTAIN).
System response
The data display/maintenance activity was terminated.
Procedure
No exact diagnosis can be gleaned from the error. Please contact your system administrator.
Check the OSS for corresponding notes and create a new problem message if necessary.</b>
I am not able to understand why is it happening so? I am able to see data for some other data source requests but not the requests for this data source.
Can anybody help in knowing what could be the issue.
Any help would be appreciated by points.

Hi,
did you change your transfer structure recently? Did you add, remove a field from your transfer structure?
Check in table RSTSODS; enter your ISource name with a * at the end and check if you have a recent new version with the date from and date to 01.01.9999.
In ODSNAME_TECH you have the name of the corresponding transparent table (/BIC/B*); Goto SE11 with this name and verify that the table is well active and that you can display data.
Finally check this note although it is quite old...

Error message "Data cannot be maintained for set type COMM_PR_PUR_1

While replicating the material master through R3AS I am getting an error for which the details to be checked in SMW01. In SMW01 when I selected the record for error details I am getting above error message. How to resolve ? Pls guide me stepwise. For your information I has cleared SMQ1 in R3 & SMQ2 in SRM
For curioisity next I selected all such error logs & deleted. It gave me one warning (some inconstinecies error) which I ignored. After that I checked SMQ1 of R3 & SMQ2 of SRM. No log
But I observed a strange thing. Whatever material codes I am creating it is going straightway to SRM without running R3AS transaction. I checked R3AM1, selected the row and cancelled. But still going without any interferrance. Why ? How shall I stop this.

Error: Data cannot be inserted as there is no matching record

Hi,
I have migrated SharePoint 2010 site to SharePoint 2013.
I have a custom list, which i was able to do edit multiple records after "opening in Access" in SharePoint 2010.
After the migration, when i open the list in "open with Access", and try to modify any data, I am getting the error "Data cannot be inserted as there is no matching record". The custom list has columns which are taken from lookup list.
I have tried the re-link the list, which has not helped.
Found this: For some of the lookup colums, for which the data is empty, it is getting shown as 0.
This is causing the issue.
How to fix this?

According to your description, my understanding is that the error occurred when you open the list with Access after migrating SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013.
Did this issue occur with other lists?
I recommend to create a new blank database in Access and then import the list into the new one to see if the issue still occurs.
For test, I recommend to test the same scenario with a new list to narrow the issue scope.

I sent a matrix,its row and column to a child window. However "Acess violation" & 'Memory cannot be reference" error occurs when I try to plot the data in the child dialogue. Why?

My OS is Win200 professional.
I'm running a data acquisition program. I'd got this main dialog which the user selects the input channel.
The child dialog should show the graph.
I'd initialise all the NI_DAQ configuration in the main dialog class. After acquiring the data, I send the matrix to the child window for it to plot. There is no compilation error.
However when I try to plot the data, Windows complained about Acess violation and Memory cannot be accessed error.

I believe this problem is occurring because you are using the index operator (brackets "[","]") instead of the functional call operator (parentheses "(",")") in your code to access the matrix.
SigCh1Vect[i] = SigCh1Max[1,i];
The index operator is not defined for the matrix, because the C++ language does not allow a two-argument overload of this operator. Instead you have to use the function call operator for matrices and remember to use the index operator for vectors.
I believe that what is happening is that the compiler is using one of the defined cast operators on the matrix (operator DataType) to convert the symbol "SigCh1Max" into a double pointer. It then interprets the bracket as it would any array index operation. So the compile
r effectively sees:
SigCh1Vect[i] = *(((Real64*)SigCh1Max) + (1,i));
In this case, I believe the comma operator is defined to return the rightmost operand, or "i". Changing your code to
SigCh1Vect[i] = SigCh1Max(1,i);
should fix the problem. Please let me know if any issues exist after this fix.
In the next release of Measurement Studio, I will recommend that the index operator be defined on the matrix classes, even if it simply throws an exception. The existence of this operator will prevent problems like this from showing up.

SEM-BPS 6.0 error message requested data cannot be locked but at 999 row?

Hi all,
We are using SEM-BPS with WIB and EP 7.0 and I encountered issues for the first time. I normally avoid configuring layouts with large hierarchies but at this one the client insisted. They are in testing right now and selection of relatively small node (approx. 10-20 cost centers) still gave us an error message.
I know layouts has a limit of 9,999 rows and we should have been okay since it is about 200-300 lines per cost center but we are getting the error message below and it mentioned a limit of 999 rows in the selection table.. Any way we can change that?

Diagnosis
In order to edit data from InfoProvider 'ZYEE_C02', the requested data has to be locked exclusively for user 'YEESU01'. The data that is currently being requested is specified by a very large selection table. In order to lock the data exclusively, the system has to store a compressed version of this selection table on the SAP standard lock server. However, the compressed selection table still has more than 999 rows. So that a reasonable number of users are able to change data at the same time, the system limits the number of records allowed in a selection table to 999 records.
Information on Context of Lock Request:
Lock requests can come from BI-Planning or from BW-BPS. The context specifies the following information:
BI-Planning: for a lock request from a query, {Planning Function} for a lock request from a planning function.
BW-BPS: {Planning Area}{Planning Level}{Planning Package}{Planning Function}{Parameter Group}. For lock requests from manual planning the following is true: Planning function = '0-MP' and the parameter group is the technical name of the planning layout.
InfoProvider 'ZYEE_C02' is always a Basis InfoProvider. The current context information is:
'{0-ADHOC}{0-MP}'

You can normally only avoid this by simplifying your selections. For more information, see the documentation on this.

Hi Mary,
in RSPLSE you use the option that the BI lock table is maintained in the SAP enqueue server. Here there is a limit - as explained in the long text of the message - that the compressed selection table for one enqueue request should not have more than 999 rows. This limit can not be changed.
The selection table seems to be very big, since the compression factor is at least 5. So please check your selection table:
1 check whether you can make the characteristic causing the problem not lock relevant
2 or use the second option that the BI lock table is maintained in a shared memory area of the central instance of the system.
But it is better to keep the selection tables small, e.g. by making some characteristics not lock relevant.
Check sizing note 928044, e.g. in case you want to use 2. The default setting is very small.

Not sure how long this has been a problem. Kids are young and I manually manage most things but recently having music synced is an issue. All software has been kept up to date.

How to Edit PSA Data

Hi
in our daily delta load of 0SD_C03 cube, The delta for 2LIS_13_VDHDR failed to update the infocube. The data is in the PSA with 1 incorrect record.
When I go to edit this particilar record I'm getting an error "Request cannot be changed (see long text)". The error message is Time conversion from 0CALDAY to 0FISCPER (fiscal year C2 ) failed with value 22001129". I want to change the value from "22001129" to "20051129". But system wold not allow me to do it.
How can I edit the PSA data? Do I have to run delta again?
This failed delta I have 865 records. If I run delta again will it capture these 865 records too?

To edit your PSA Request, first you have to Delete the Red Request from the InfoProvider.In the Monitor select the failed request -> Click On Manage Datatargets Icon,
It will take you to the Datatarget Manage Screen Goto -> Requests tab ->Select the Request whisch was failed and Click On Delete.Once the Request is Deleted Go back to the Monitor screen ,Click On PSA Icon there Correct the Error Record ,Save the PSA Data and Come back to Monitor screen. Goto -> Details Tab of MOnitor Screen Right click on Datapackage node and select Manual Update.

"Value cannot be null" error when trying to edit or create Maintenance Plan in SQL Server 2008

I have SQL Server 2008 installed on Windows Server 2008 64bit, every time I try to open or create a new Maintenance Plan I receive the error:

I have searched for a possible solution and have tried some suggestions of registering the msxml6.dll but and have installed VS2008 SP1 but I'm not in a position where I can do a full reinstall of SQL Server right now. Any help is appreciated. My SQL server

I digged a little deeper and figured out it was a missing directory/file in %TEMP%. Seems some CleaningTool removes all files/directories in %Temp% and after that SSMS was not working any longer. The missing file is actually not needed, but the
missing directory causes the "Value cannot be null" error.
My missing file name was:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\2\6vvdaozf.tmp
But the file name changes on every startup.
So my missing directory name was:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\2
After creating a empty directory with the name "2" in %TEMP% all went back to work fine for me.
I'm not sure the directory name is every time the same, but you can discover your missing file with the process monitor from Sysinternal Tools and filters to "Process Name is ssms.exe" and "Path contains AppData\Local\Temp"

First thing I'd say is that you're code doesn't compile:
lv_title := '   // <----Secondly, does no-one use comments anymore? Isn't this drilled into people in programming classes at colleges? There's a whole bunch of code there but not much in the way of explanation as to what you are trying to achieve. It might make perfect sense to you now but try going back to it in a year and see if you can untangle it's purpose.
Thirdly, is there a specific reason why you've chosen to manually generate a report in PL/SQL, rather than delegating it to a report region? I understand that for particular formatting requirements (denormalised data, cells-within-cells etc), it is occasionally necessary to go to these lengths but I can't help but feeling a well-written query could simplify a lot of this, particularly the references multiple cursors.

Why PSA data show red status when opened but green on PSA page?

Run RSA1 -> click PSA to open PSA page, locate one infosource and find the PSA under it, find the status column shows it's green, but when opening it, find the 1st column shows red for each row. How does the inconsitance occur?
BTW, if we open the infopackage monitor for the above one, find a weird thing is that each request get two consecutive processes running with a circle of red ball and green ball in the left frame. Double click one of them, in the right frame and click the monitor Status tab, the msg window is as following (in between two dashed lines below):

Diagnosis
Data records were recognized as incorrect.
System response
The valid records were updated in the data target and can be used in reporting.
The incorrect records were not written to the data target, but were posted retractively under a new request number in the PSA.
Procedure
Check the data in the error requests, correct the errors, and post the error requests.
Sounds like the data failed to uploaded to data target due to error in PSA, but why the status show green in somewhere? And if clicking the Details tab, all show green! Weird!

Hi Kevin,
In your InfoPackage Update tab, click the Error Handling button. It seems that the Valid records update, request green option is chosen. This is why you see the green request and some error records.
This means that the corect reocrds were loaded and are available for reporting, but the incorrect ones were left behind. This is used to check the erro records separatelt so that they do not disrupt the entire data load.

"XML page cannot be displayed" error

Using XML output on a table with more than a few rows falls over with a "XML page cannot be displayed" error. Sometimes only the error is displayed, sometimes some rows are displayed with this error at the end of the page (eg the DEMO_STATES table)
Can anyone advise if there is some sort of limiter at work here?

i'm pretty sure that error comes up when your browser (ie, specifically, i believe) can't render the xml data it's received. i'm also pretty sure, as the full message implies, it's because it doesn't know what style sheet to use when you go to that page. in short, it's a browser config issue. one way to bypass it (to at least prove that it's a browser issue) would be to create a link to your page, right click the link, and do a "Save Target As...". the resulting file will be your valid XML one. fwiw, i've had better luck controlling the manner in which my xml data is received when i use mozilla or netscape (but i'd imagine there's just some setting you'd toggle in IE to avoid your issue).

Check the error No. If error is standard, then we can change the error message to warning, if the error is ABAP generated, we cannot get it changed. Usually ABAP generated errors are created as per clients requirement and can be changed with client and ABAP consultation.

"The iPod **** cannot be updated. The required file cannot be found" Error

Hello,
Upon doing a 'zero-all bits' reformatting of my 5G iPod with Disk Utility and using the 'Restore' feature in iTunes 7, every time I sync my iPod with iTunes, I get an error message after the sync in the form of
"The iPod ** cannot be updated. The required file cannot be found"
and photos, contacts, and calendars are not synchronizing. I tried a second 'Restore' attempt but to no avail. Previous to reformatting my 5G iPod, I've not seen this error message.
I would be grateful if someone could offer any clues. Many thanks.

A little update.
Upon reinstalling iTunes 7, deleting my iTunes-related .plist files, and reparing permissions on my hard drive, I can now sync my contacts and calendars with my 5G iPod.
As for Photos, the "required file cannot be found" error seems to be due to the default setting in the 'Photos' tab, 'Sync photos from:' pull-down menu to 'iPhoto'. If I choose my 'Pictures' folder, photo synchronizing works, albeit including everything in my iPhoto library, including originals and modified versions of the photos.
I can only surmise that the default setting for synchronizing photos is somehow buggy in iTunes 7. I guess I'll just wait for an update.
