Pulseaudio equalizer - coda slider

Can someone explain to me what exactly the coda slider does in qpaeq (Pulseaudio equalizer GUI).
I wasn't able to find anything online.

I believe these sliders are there to create clean curves for the frequencies between 0Hz (DC) and the first slider (e.g. 31Hz) and the last slider (e.g. 16kHz) and the end of your equalizer (Coda, which is sample_rate/2)

Layers in a coda slider panel??

Hi, please look at www.fizzybee.net/help I am haveing trouble with coda slider which is the base i have used to construct a website. As you can see in panel 1 and 2 i am able to inset an image......now for example in panel 2 i want to insert a new layer so i can put some text in over the top of the bg image. It seems impossible!!? it wont let me put a layer inside the panel, i'm very stuck......could someone help me please??? thanks

Inside the markup for your coda slider you should have a div with the class "scrollContainer". Inside that div are more divs for each of your slides. I forget how it's structured exactly, but you should be able to add a unique ID to each of those "slides" and apply the background image.
The CSS would end up looking something like this:

Are you using Firebug while working on this? It would benefit you greatly while reengineering this slider...

Need CSS help Coda-Slider 2

I'm having trouble setting the width of the <ul> in this Coda-Slider tab set up. I'd like all the tabs across the top to display in one line rather that wrap to two.

Looked over the CSS and .js and could not find anything setting the <ul> to 552...
But IE Developer Tools toolbar and Firebug show an inline style of 552px...
I just can't find where that is.

Turns out that the <ul> width was a math computation in the .js file (there was no <ul> width coded in the CSS or HTML).

helped me ID that line in the .js file.
ul.css({ width: 'auto', marginLeft: -18 });
I still had to use a neg margin to move the tabs all to the left... but all is working now.

[Pulseaudio] equalizer problem (solve)

Hello
I installed pulseaudio and all work fine but I tried to setup a system wide equalizer with the ladspa-sink module.
I think the module is well load but there is a problem with pa_sink_input_update_max_request function.
I am not alone in this situation :

I try to install pulseaudio-git from aur because a solution proposed (in the seconde link) is to simply remove the line 807 from the sink_input.c file but compilation fail.

Jquery coda slider active tab state help for 2nd panel

I have created a slider which can be viewed here:

when you click the first tab 'early life' it takes you to the first panel and the tab is highlighted red and active, when you click the right arrow to go to the 2nd panel the tab reverts to the off state however I would like it to remain on, any help would be greatly apprceiated as not sure if it is a css problem or jquery.

I'm not too familliar with Flexslider. I've been using another jQuery plugin called Cycle2 which performs well in all layouts! Copy & paste the following code into a new, blank document. SaveAs cycle_test.html and preview in browsers.

How to code slide bar panel using devcomponents in visual studio

I could actually get the ui of the sliding panel from the devcomponents. But I am not able to code it in such way that I can slide through pages by actually controlling them from some other options like radio buttons or page buttons etc.
I am not able to control the navigation of these pages through other options like radio buttons or buttons etc.

I try to set PulseAudio as systemd service, but I'm still getting errors.
Here is how my .service file looks like.

Scrubbing timeline with slider - how to smooth it out?

I've created a simple slider to scrub through some frames of a MC named states. Each frame has the same MC (states) just in a different color.
I've setup the slider using
slider.setSize(200,1);
slider.maximum=states.totalFrames;
slider.liveDragging=true;
slider.addEventListener(Event.CHANGE,updatemc);
function updatemc(e:Event){
    states.gotoAndStop(slider.value);
I'd like the trainsition from one frame to the next to be smooth so that there is no blunt change when the frames change. I can easily add a shapetween between frames which creates the smooth transition I am looking for but, I only want the slider to stop on the 5 main frames. Can someone suggest how I'd accomplish this either through a code mod. or something on the timeline?

I found out how to set my snap interval which helps. I just need to smooth out the transition. Hmm.. Something tells me I should not be doing this on the timeline but in my code.

JavaScript image slide show that can support video too?

I am looking for a javascript slide show, that can also support video. Ideally, it would allow for youtube or vimeo videos, but that isn't absolutely necessary. I did some searching, but couldn't find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

[Pulseaudio] default device trouble

I'm trying to get system wide equalizer working.
First I tried ladspa pulseaudio-equalizer, it works when I apply eq. setting, but once I stop playing music or movie and then use those applications again they default back to real device. I have to apply eq settings again.
I don't know why this is happennig, I tried pavucontrol and other device choosers. Ladspa is default, nothing is wrong there. This happens with every application too.
I tried qpaeq, another equalizer. It worked but I had cracling issues with that one.
I use kde4 and x86_64.

Q2 : How do I get User1 to enter level 15 (Switch# instead of Switch>) automatically without being prompted to enter their password a second time after typing "enable"?
     You need to configure exec authorization on switch and push "privlege level = 15" to make User1 fall on switch# mode.
The command on switch will be :
     aaa authorization exec default group tacacs local

ManipulationCompleted is not firing on eventtocommand (mvvm ligt) when i try to bind slider

I tried to bind slider event ManipluationCompleted using EventTocommand but its not getting fired but ManipluationStarted works fine is there any way to solve this.

How to restart pulseaudio via systemd?

As my sound is not working well after hibernation, I tried to use systemd to kill pulseaudio while my pc fall asleep and to start it when my pc wakes up. But I can't do this. Following the archwiki, I made to .service files:

So the problem is some kind of strange dbus problem: If I execute my reload-sys-mon.sh script directly, it works without problem!

And indeed, in /usr/share/dbus-1/services there is no service file for org.gnome.Shell.
Looking at the other files there, making such a file seems not so hard (just 3 lines, e.g. [D-BUS Service] Name=org.freedesktop.ColorHelper Exec=/usr/lib/colord/colord-session), but I don't know what to put in the "Exec=" line. I tried Exec=/usr/bin/gnome-shell, but that didn't work.
So does anyone know how to create such a service file for org.gnome.Shell?

How can I view a series of images in the same image frame?

I'm an intermediate level user and recently saw a feature on a web site that I'd like to incorporate in my own designs. I'm looking for an instructional link to explain this process. On a published web site there is an image. To the right side and left side of this main image are two small images: a "forward triangle" and a "reverse triangle". When you click on the forward triangle the main image changes to image #2, then again to image #3. Clicking on the left-sided "reverse triangle" takes the user back to image #2, then image #1. All main images are located inside the same frame, it's just that you can click back and forth through a series of half a dozen images. It seems easy, but I just can't find the right instructions. Can anyone suggest a link or two? Thanks!

Making size of photos fill entire top of screen

I just got a contract to make changes to a layout my client has abandoned. I made a few changes to the CSS file, converted the site to a PHP template system, as well as updated the logo. After I made the changes, the height of the pictures changed. I don't know what I did to cause that to happen. Would this have anything to do with the transition or margin changes to the CSS file I made or the new logo I put in? Any help is appreciated.
