Purchase order specific to copy function
Hi All,
We have new requirement for one of our client. During PO creation or change, user has the option to copy with reference of existing PO items. However by doing that, the PO will default certain values/info that are no longer valid of which may not be apparent to the user at the point in time, such as the following:-
Fiield Value: Payment Term
After Copy:Payment term is being inherited
Refresh Thorugh:Is there a trigger to effect the update?
Remarks:Applicable to those vendor master with new payment term maintained subsequently
ERS Indicator
Fiield Value: ERS indicator status is being inherited
Refresh Thorugh:Is there a trigger to effect the update?
Remarks:Applicable to those vendor master with ERS activated subsequently
Fiield Value :Price Date
After Copy:Price date is at current date but net price inherited
Refresh Thorugh:Click Update to carry out new pricing (at item level)
Remarks:Any option to prevent user from saving the PO prior to triggering the respective refresh?
Fiield Value:BOM
After Copy:BOM inherited
Refresh Thorugh:Click Explode BOM to reflect latest BOM (at item level)
Refresh Thorugh:Any option to prevent user from saving the PO prior to triggering the respective refresh?
Please help me, are there any options available that can help to minimize invalid PO information being created
In include program FDEPL00_SHOW line 18, call the alv function module. The out put internal table is gt_data.I think you can debug the program and add find the right position to add new field to the gt_data table.
But i found include program FDEPL00_READ use LDB method to get the vendor information. So i think it is not very easy to add code in FDEPL00_READ.
Maybe you can add code before call alv function.

A/P Invoice and BaseRef(Purchase Order) as parameter of function
Every time i add row in A/P Invoice need to fire some function using formatted search where one of the parameter is BaseRef(DocNum) of the Purchase Order. So lets say formatted search is connected with Price and looks like this: SELECT dbo.example("BaseRef(DocNum) of Purchase Order")
Which variable is responsible for store Baseref - DocNum of Purchase Order?Hi Przemek,
Do you mean you wish to retrieve the purchase order number for each line in the purchase invoice ?
The baseref column in the A/P invoice lines refers to the docnum of the base document (baseentry refers to the docentry of the base document), which can be either a goods receipt document or a purchase order document. The basetype document specifies the type of the document in which the baseentry and baseref columns refer to.
There are several ways you could solve this problem, but here's one solution you might want to try:
= = = Formatted search query that calls a user function in MS SQL Server = = =
select dbo.getOrderNumForPurchaseInvoiceRow($[PCH1.BaseEntry],$[PCH1.BaseLine],$[PCH1.BaseType])
= = = Three user functions that have to be created in MS SQL Server = = =
create function getGoodsReceiptBaseRef(@DocEntry int, @LineNum int)
returns int
as
begin
return(select baseref from pdn1 where docentry=@DocEntry and linenum=@LineNum)
end
go
create function getPurchaseOrderNum(@docentry int)
returns int
as
begin
return(select docnum from opor where docentry=@docentry)
end
go
create function getOrderNumForPurchaseInvoiceRow(@baseentry int, @baseline int, @basetype int)
Returns int
as
begin
declare @result int,
@baseref int
/* If basetype is not goods receipt or order, simply return null*/
if(@basetype not in(20, 22))
begin
set @result=null
end
else
begin
/* base document is goods receipt */
if(@basetype=20)
begin
/* Retrieve the base reference number of the goods receipt */
set @result=dbo.getGoodsReceiptBaseRef(@baseentry,@baseline)
end
else
/* Base document is purchase order - simply return the baseref of the invoice itself */
begin
set @result=dbo.getPurchaseOrderNum(@baseentry)
end
end
return @result

Regarding Purchase Order Screen - Copy From
Hi friends,
In purchase order screen <b>Copy From</b> Button was in disable mode.i want to enable that button . i am using SAP Business One 2005 A(6.80.317) SP:01 version.
expecting reply soon ......
Thanks & Regards
SARANHi,
You cannot enable the Copy From button on the purchase order window. This is because there is no originating document for a purchase order (which is the first document in the chain on the purchasing side).
Perhaps if you explain your reasons for needing this functionality someone can come up with a suitable workaround.

Create additional field in sales order item and copy to purchase order item
Dear SAP Gurus,
I am hoping that someone could help me by providing me with how to implement the following 2 requirements in the SD order and in the purchase order.
1. I am wanting to add a custom field to the SD sales order item copying a value from the vendor customer master.
2. I then want to add a custom field to the purchase order item and copy the value from my custom field in 1. to this new custom field..
Can you please advise how I would go about implementing the above requirements? I am assuming that there are exits to allow me to implement these 2 requirements.
Many thanks
HenryHi,
For the first requirement you can use the USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP in report MV45AFZZ.
For the second, as I think that you will create a RFQ you can try to use the enhancement MEREQ001.

How to disable Purchase Order Print Preview function in the Portal
We wish to expose some purchase order functions in our SAP Portal 7.0. The problem is that when we run any of the purchase order transactions as SAPGUI for HTML, the Print Preview function displays the full purchase order. This means that any user who wishes to short cut processes can display and then print a purchase order before it has been approved if they use the Portal to display the purchase order.
If the purchase order transaction is run from the normal SAPGUI, the Print Preview function only displays the top of the purchase order and the print function is disabled. Has anyone tackled this problem before and worked out a way of stopping users from using the Print Preview function to display purchase orders in the Portal and then print them?

Printed XML Purchase Order Report - Printing blank Blanket PO page
Hi,
When printing the xml report of a Blanket PO Release, the release lines and headers print first but the last page is a page for the primary blanket PO (PO Num without any releases attached). This page does not contain any information in the header or line fields therefore it is a waste of paper. Looking into the XML code the blanket PO page is pulled in the same manner as the Release lines, against G_Headers. I'm going to look into the Reports Developer SQL to see if I can find something but I would rather not mess with the configuration of the SQL if I did not have to.
Any ideas on how to get rid of this extra unnecessary page?
Thanks,
-SteveHi,
RDBMS : 11.2.0.1.0
Oracle Applications : 11.5.10.2
OS: Unix
The issue can be reproduced.
The report in question has had customization but the blank page prints in the Printed Purchase Order Report(Portrait) seeded function as well. From what I see the SQL might be able to modified based off of the input paramet "Print Blanket PO". When this is selected "No" the Blanket header is printed with no lines (that's where the blank PO page is coming from). When selected Yes the blanket header with all the blanket lines are printed. So I may be able to go in and change how that input parameter changes the output, unless there is a better way.

Invoice Purchase Order with Down Payments brings wrong Due Amount
Hello,
I am working on 8.81 PL08 environment and I have this situation:
I issue a Purchase Order and then a Down Payment Request which I pay. When I go to invoice the purchase order the down payment and payment due fields on the invoice are correct.
In the case I issue another down payment request and for the same Purchase Order which closes the amount of invoice then when I go to the invoice and choose Copy From the same fields are not right.
If I go to Purchase Order and choose Copy To the amounts are correct.
So the situation is like this:
- Down Payment part of Purchase Order. Due Payment to invoice correct
- Down Payment full amount of Purchase Order. Choose Copy To from Purchase Order to Purchase Invoice. Due Payment correct.
- Down Payment full amount of Purchase Order. Choose Copy From from Purchase Invoice. Due Payment wrong.
Has anyone seen this before?
Thank you,
GerasimosThank you Gordon,
However I cannot deny to the user that wants to apply that that there is a business case where the vendor demands the invoice to be paid all in front (maybe one installment with the Purchase Order and one with the Receipt of the Goods). So, I would expect this to be covered.
I noticed another thing: When I opened the Down Payments screen on Invoice (where Down Payments are listed in order to choose them) there is a column "Open Net Amount" which brings the correct amount. However, in the column "Net Amount to Draw" there is a wrong figure and that makes the mistake.
Now I can see that I can wright the correct amount to column "Net Amount to Draw" but still I cannot understand why a user should do that. -
Purchase Order History Program - not working properly
Dear friends
i am developing purchase order history program in ALV,
which shows the report of purchase order status
i.e (fields as below).
document no
PO date
line item
material number
material name
purchase org
plant
purchase group
orderd quantity
ordered amount
delivered quantity
delivered amount
to be delivered quantity
to be delivered amount
invoice quantity
invoice amount
to be invoiced quantity
to be invoiced amount
how to test from me23n
open me23n
enter PO number
press status tab
you can get some fields for verification..
the problem is
i can get all the details correctly except delivered amount and to be delivered amount
it works fine in both ( material purchase order and service purchase order )
sometimes i am getting incorrect values in service purchase order specifically in delivered amount and to be delivered amount
why i am getting these incorrect values ??
only couple of POs generate these things.
i am getting these values from EKBE table and using proper filtration like movement type and etc...
if anyone can resolve ... would be appreciable
avirat.Hi,
for getting proper Po History you need to select PO's details from EKKO table and
Header details from CHANGEDOCUMENT_READ_HEADERS based on the details got from this FM pass
to the FM CHANGEDOCUMENT_READ_POSITIONS and get proper details.
This is the logic used by the standard program also to get the PO History.
Hope this helps.

DELIVERY COMPLETED indicator for Services Purchase Order
hello experts,
i'm working in SAP with R3 4.7 for developing funtion / BAPI for a mobile web application for services purchase order.
i have a big problem:
is it possibile to set the DELIVERY COMPLETED indicator (<i>ELIKZ</i>) in services purchase order via BAPI or Function Module?
<i>I'm working with BAPI_PO_CHANGE but and i succeded with material PURCHASE ORDER but not with SERVICES PURCHASE ORDER</i>.
can anyone help me?
thanks in advance,
ElianaFor material:
Delivery completion (DCI) tick available at line item level for each material (EKPO- ELIKZ)so you can check for the each material in PO the DCI is available or not.
For Services:
As Service code (Service line items) are maintained in details screen of Header line item. So whenever the DCI (Delivery completion indicator) marked for that Header line item it means that all the service line items are marked as DCI for that Header line.
DCI indicator can mark manually in Change PO mode and automatically when service entry done as final for that Header line.
So you can check the DCI for service same way as you do for material
Hope it will help you

Problem for Goods Receipt for Subcontracting Purchase Order
Dear all,
Presently, we are using SAP version 4.6C and we need to introduce GR for
Subcontracting Purchase Order. We have developed a ABAP program to handle
subcon Goods Receipt by uploading flat-files from our subcontractor. The
scenario is as follows :
Goods Receipt for Subcontracting Purchase Order
1. In the ABAP program, function BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE will be used for goods
movement.
2. Data provided to the function are as follows :
- Posting date
- Document date
- Material number
- Plant
- Storage location
- Batch
- Movement type (101)
- Quantity
- Purchase order number
- Purchase order item
- Movement indicator (B - Goods receipt for purchase order)
3. The function will do data verification and automatically determine GI
item for subcon stock:
- Movement type (543)
- Special stock (O - parts prov. vendor)
- Material
- Quantity
- Plant
Our problem is that :
Only the GR item in the interface is to be transferred and the GI item is
determined by the system. So, the quantity for subcon stock cannot be
changed using this BAPI. Then the system will continue processing the goods
receipt and create material document.
Manually, by using transaction code MIGO, the user can display the subcon
stock data and then change the quantity.
By using transaction code MB01, after the user fills in all the GR fields,
the system comes to line item 002 (subcon stock data) and then quantity can
be changed.
As per user requirement, quantity for GI item must be same with the quantity
that has been transferred to subcon vendor in Delivery for Subcon
(transaction code VL02N).
We cannot achieve this requirement by using the BAPI mentioned above. Would
appreciate any valuable help from anyone who is able to help us on this
matter. Are there any other BAPI's that can help us to achieve the same
result ?
Thank you in advance and best regards. As far as i understood the problem I suggest u to create the
BDC according to user actions that are performed in he manual
operation.
I can't say that the BAPI performs the exac solution what you want.
I have done some BDC work using MB01 and suggest you to be careful
and try to keep the complete in the logic as some chages in rows in BDC will
change the complete scenario. And throw correct quantity val in correct
material
row.
This methodology will help u even in mass uploads.
Or in case of automation u can perform the call transaction BDC in
background mode.
so As per my understanding bdc program is the solution. pls try and let me
know. -
Net price update in creation of the purchase order
Guys,
I have a query, please find the details below.
I have created a ABAP for posting the purchase orders using the BAPI function 'BAPI_PO_CREATE1', I am passing the net price value in the input file. But the system is taking the net price from the purchase info record of that material. My own net price is not considered.
Please find my observations below.
1. First of all system is checking whether there is a PIR maintained for the material or not. If PIR is maintained, then system is defaultly considering the net price maintained in the PIR.
2. Later I have deleted the net price maintained in PIR. In this case, system is considering the net price of that material from the previous purchase order.
But my query is that I don't want the system to consider the net price from previous material, I want to update my own net price to line item of the PO.
Could anyone please suggest me how should I proceed further so solve this query?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Vijaymadhur.Hi,
Yes, this can be achieved. Don't maintain any price in inforecord. Then in SPRO > Materials Management > Purchasing > Environment Data > Define default value for buyers > Here click on settings on default values > In Inforecord update > Maintain no update fro PO and quotation.
Now the last PO price will not be saved in Inforecord and hence this will not b carried to PO.
