I could see that my battery condition is fair and can hold 40% of charge an dhave been use for almost 33 months. Now, I am planning to purchase a new battery and I could see one at ebay (new with 6months warranty) for onle 50$ where as at lenovo web site it is 169$ (new and i year warranty) and taxes extra. If I go for the ebay one, Will there be any probelm wiht the system? Or it is same as that of lenovo original? Only the draing time will be faster for the cheap one, I think!

I'm sure that if you search hard enough, you'll find someone else who has had a similar problem, but that does not mean that it is remotely normal or common. Apple definitely needs to replace the machine, but don't be afraid that the same thing will happen with the new one.
Of course, that's assuming that this wasn't a case of user error. It's hard to understand how it could be, but in my years of tech support, I've learned to never discount such possibilities. I've seen people do things like forceably shove plugs into the wrong ports, seemingly oblivious to the fact that it doesn't fit and insistent that it should.

This one is very old, i already changed this battery one time, i think Apple store of town won't be ok to make the work cause i have made it myself one time before (it has fallen several times, almost broken, means impossible to shut the battery place but still working on). So i bought a battery to a third provider, wich doesn't work of course, try to ask to online assistance but i have to pay 30 € just to ask my question and i doesn't want...

I bought it in 2008. I don't know exactly the serie. Just know it's a 2,4 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo.
The reference of battery is A1281 10,8V 50 Wh. Can't find it on the store. The only one i found was on a website who didn't tell it's was a fake...

I live in Ireland. How can I buy a new battery for my N500?

I need to buy a new battery for my Lenovo 3000 N500. However, in the Ireland section of the Lenovo web site NONE of the dealers have this part in stock. It is in stock on the US and UK sections of the web site, but apparently only people in those countries can buy it on line. I would be prepared to buy it online from the US or the UK and pay the shipping charges to Ireland. In more than 13 years on the web, Lenovo is the first company I've encountered where I haven't been able to use my credit card to purchase an item from the US or the UK. I do this all the time with companies like Land's End, Amazon, James Meade etc etc.
Fine, if I'm not allowed buy from the US and the UK. But at least,then, make sure I have some other way of buying the part - either on line or from a store.

Amazon.com is a great place, be wary of anything too cheap though I have purchased generic brand ones with a charger and their life is about half what a genuine Samsung battery is.
Also watch for NFC capable if you wish to maintain that capability.

New Battery for G450

Does anybody know of a good place to get a replacement battery for the G450? I tried to order one directly from Lenovo, but it has been a month and every time I check the status the ship date is pushed back. No word from Lenovo, either.

You mentioned that you purchased a new battery for the G450 system. To replace this battery, you will need to contact the person or the store that sold you this battery (eg. If you purchased it from Amazon.com, you will need to contact Amazon) as the battery can only be replaced from the place of purchase.

Yes you can still purchase replacement batteries your iPod from third party repair companies. Apple does not offer replacement parts.
Do a Google search for iPod battery replacement and you should get a plethora of results. There are many good deals on Amazon and eBay.
