Q:Unable to poll the SNMPAgent?

I’m new to SNMP and have been following the Sun Seebeyond “SNMP Agent User’s Guide” and “Alert Agent User’s Guide” tutorials with the aim of providing SNMP access to 3rd party client software (software currently unknown).
I’ve managed to generate and filter Alerts using Enterprise Manager and receive them as Emails (AlertAgent only) and as SNMP Traps, using “AdventNet SNMP Adaptor 5 MibBrowser” as client software for trap viewing and polling.
So far using MIB files “CAPS51-MIB.txt” and “EGATE50-SNMP-V2-MIB.txt” to generate my Polling requests I have only managed to get the following response:

Apart from using varying port numbers is there any special configuration options required or additional documentation available? Has anyone got Enterprise Manger/SNMPAgent Polling to work with any other SNMP management client software? Is there some software I should actually be using? Is SNMPAgent polling in SNMP V3 format?

Issue resolved.
If anyone has this problem again, the solution is in two parts:
(1) SNMPAgents do not respond to incorrectly configured requests so disable the security to permit testing. For the SNMPAgent all useful setting seem to reside in the SimpleAgent.xml file, so find the SNMP "version" and set it to "1". So far I haven't been able to find any documentation for this component.

All polling requests should work now.
(2) The "AdventNet SNMP Adaptor 5 MibBrowser" doesn’t appear to support SNMP v3 security fully, or in a way compatible with the SNMPAgent implementation. The "iReasoning MIB Browser" (Professional Edition only with v3 support) works fine. Judging by the log files the CAPS SNMPAgent uses the iReasoning SNMP API.

Application Error, Unable to launch the application Blackboard Collaborate

I recently updated to Java 7 so I could use this service. I called up Blackboard support when it would not load and they told me to clear Cache, try downloading new deployment file, disable Windows firewall and nothing worked. They then told me to delete all versions of Java I had installed and reinstall Java 6. Here are the execeptions in the error message. Below I posted the

Hi, I've missed three weeks of classes because of the same error listed above. Everything was fine and Blackboard Collaborate Elluminate worked almost effortlessly for 5 or 6 weeks. Suddenly I tried to log in for a live lecture and this error occurred. Other students were having trouble and still are. Tech support at the school couldn't fix it, so they referred me to Blackboard Collaborate tech support (level 2). They haven't been able to fix it either. They recommended the same steps listed at the top of this email. I executed all of them but still receive the same error. Additionally, at one point, I was unable to install Java. Funny things seem to happen when I get on the line with tech support to solve this problem, although funny things don't happen during the other work I do on this computer. Technical language, I know. :-)
In an effort to pass the class, I am doing research on own to try to fix this and get into the lectures.
I am getting the same error listed above but am not a developer and don't understand how to get to JNLP to enter the fix listed above (if someone has a hint, I'd love to try that fix).
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Here are steps taken so far:
1. Clear Java Installed Apps and Applets (Control Panel - Java 32-bit - SEttings - Delete files - Installed apps and applets - ok - ok - ok)
2. Delete all files in Downloads folder (from all browsers)
3. Allow Java in Windows firewall (Start screen - hold down Windows key and W - Search for "firewall" - Navigate to Java program name - click all boxes and save)
4. Ran CCleaner to remove all temporary internet files, cookies, etc. that could be interfering
5. When nothing else worked, uninstalled and reinstalled Java twice (on the second time, it took over a dozen tries to reinstall Java - suddenly it just worked) and both times I deleted the Sun folder (C:/Users/Me/appdata/LocalLow/Sun) at the direction of tech support
6. Removed old registry entries both times using CCleaner
7. Rebooted (something done all along the way to see if it helped)
8. Tried to access live classes and recordings from multiple lectures through Blackboard Collaborate Elluminate and received the same error (details included below)
9. Tried to access Blackboard Collaborate Elluminate with Windows firewall on, then Windows firewall off, then ZoneAlarm Extreme firewall on, then ZoneAlarm Extreme firewall off (and entire associated software package); when on, ZoneAlarm gives "super" trusted status to all parts of Java listed and gives green checkmarks for all parts of Java listed and all levels of security
10. End results so far: receiving same error - nothing works

Java.io.IOException: unable to find the type mapping resource file

Hi,
I am using weblogic7.0 to deploy my applications. I wrote a web service and
was able to deploy it sucessfully. I am trying to access the web service through
a jsp page. I am the error posted below on my server and " error:505 internal
server error" on the browser. Can any one please help me out with the problem.
My jsp page just displays the float value i am returing from the session bean
method.

Unable to Poll files in SFTP Location using FTP Adapter

Hi SOA Experts,
I have an issue like soa composite is unable to poll files.
I have done the below configuration .
1.created the jndi by giving values to properties host name,port,username,password,usesftp.
2. refered the same jndi in composite.
3. After deployment it is not pulling files from sftp location.
From the logs I came to know it is able to list files for the directory mentioned in the composite.The permissions are read-write.
I am using sftp server credentials were the server is running on windows.
But unable to pick it by composite and no instances can be seen in em console.
Can any one can provide solution ?

1. Open your FTP Server ( ex:- Filezilla Server :- navigate to the users :- under the users you will find the shared folder.
Check the fields . Now it should work

ESB- FTP adapter unable to poll a file

I have a FTP adapter it has to poll files, with diff naming convention.(like "asd", 'wer',"jkl","AVC"). But the adapter was unable to poll a file which name start with AVC
reamining files are polled successfully.At ftp location ftp adapter will poll file and place all records into DB through ESB,for ESB we can set adapters as inbound.Plz give me any suggessions to solve this problem(10.1.3.4).Thq.

I checked the error logs and it informed it was not able to create the stage directory where as i am only creating the stage directory and providing the path to it.so i could not really understand the exact error.
Does a stage directory get created automatically anywhere else?

Oralce B2B 10g unable to delete the xml from ftp folder

Hi,
Oracle B2B is polling in to a ftp folder which is located on different IP.
After picking-up the xml from this folder, b2b should delete the xml but, it is unable to delete the xml.
and as a result same xml is picked-up multiple times. could you please help us here?

Unable to capture the adf table column sort icons using open script tool

Hi All,
I am new to OATS and I am trying to create script for testing ADF application using open script tool. I face issues in recording two events.
1. I am unable to record the event of clicking adf table column sort icons that exist on the column header. I tried to use the capture tool, but that couldn't help me.
2. The second issue is I am unable to capture the panel header text. The component can be identified but I was not able to identify the supporting attribute for the header text.

Unable to get the values from ISearchResultList

I am working on KM Indexmanagemnt API for searching with TREX, to build a search similar to msn or google.
I am following the example of Thilo Brandt, and after building the query, I am unable to retrieve the result from ISearchResultList, the results size its displaying is zero. But session.getTotalNumberResultKeys() is retrieving a value 20.
Here is the code I am using, please tell me where I am doing wrong.

I think the problem is UME related. I had the same problem once. Try using a system user for searching, instead of the logged on user.
Like this:

Open Registry Editor.
In Registry Editor, navigate to the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\ParametersSystem
Create the following value (REG_SZ): Working Directory and give it a value that points to the new database folder.
Make sure you back up the registry before you do any changes on it.

The error says database connection error. I am able to connect to the database using sqlplus. I tried to restart the failed worker, but the same error is repeating.
Any help would be appreciated.

One thing which I noticed now is in the apps Tier the
tnsnames.ora under $TNS_ADMIN
shows entry like this:

                (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=<dbServer>)(PORT=1521))

        )Actually *(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=<appsIPaddress>)(PORT=1521))* this line in the tnsnames.ora is not correct. In fact the appsServerName should be replaced with dbServerName
I deleted the tnsnames.ora and reran autoconfig but it is again recreating the same entry.
Any clue how this can be fixed?

It was working great for the first week that I used it, but now it doesn't give me the converting option. I am very frustrated as I have done nothing to change anything, and I was thinking this was so great...now I am just pulling out my hair and do not have the option of calling anyone since no phone numbers are listed. I am VERY busy and do not have time to sit and wait over a half an hour to "chat", which I tried to do yesterday. All I want to do is very simply, convert pdfs to Word. I have paid for this and am not getting any help. I am not very savvy when it comes to Adobe this program and Adobe that program...I feel I am being scammed as I do not get simple answers for something that appeared was going to be simple. You can't even call customer service to talk to someone live to help walk you through.

Please let me know if you have tried converting any other PDF to word with Reader.
Alos, please sign up at "https://cloud.acrobat.com/" using your Adobe ID credentials. Click on 'ExportPDF' tab and upload the PDF that you want to convert to Word.
Let me know if this converts fine.

I have version 5.7 and every time I opened it I was told that updates are available and to click on the icon to access these. Instead it just took me to the
adobe page with nowhere visible to update. I then sought to download lightroom cc and this is when I could not access the 'develop' section due to reduced
functionality It was apparent that my photos had been put in cc but no way to access them unless I wanted to subscribe.
I have since remedied the problem as my original lightroom 5.7 icon is still available on the desktop and have gone back to that. I do feel that this is a bit
of a rip off and an unnecessary waste of my time though.
