QM Scenario for Automatic Data Transfer to Inspection Lot

Hi Experts,
I have explained one QM scenario below. And also mentioned queries that I have in this. Could you please help me out on the same?
There are 2 SAP systems, A and B.
Process works as follows:
-Delivery is created at A with B as recipient.
-Automatically an IDOC is being created and send out with the quality data of the batch/inspection lot (electronic COA)
-In the background a workflow is triggered which transfers the data to the goods receipt from production inspection lot.
In the system B, a subcontracting plant (DE08) will be created. During the subcontracting the materials provided to the subcontractor in real-life, however in SAP it will be brought to the subcontracting plant on a storage location specific to the subcontractor.
Now the subcontracting service itself will be simulated by a process order (own order type is ZSUB). During the creation of the process order, a service purchase requisition will be automatically created which is connected to the process order. This purchase order will be transferred to A.
After processing the purchase order, A will send service to B. B will do the process order confirmation. After process order confirmation an Inspection lot of type 04 will get generated automatically.
Once the service delivery from A to B is done, the IDoc incl. the QM-data will arrive. Workflow will be triggered by inspection lot status CNF (Confirmed) I0009. Now the workflow needs to identify the 04-'Goods receipt from production' of the process order and transfer the data into this inspection lot. The connection for this would be the purchase requisition number which is included in the process order. So the connection would be from purchase order number- purchase requisition-process order-inspection lot.

I have following queries.
1. Do I need to create Z-business object or the standard one will do the job?
2. If I need to create Z-business object, then what changes will be required in coding?
3. If I am using standard one, what all settings need to be done?
4. What configuration needs to be done in the workflow template?

Dear Swarup,
The standard BAPI 's BAPI_INSPECTIONPLAN_CREATE Or QAPP_CUST_IP_CREATE are not fulfilling my requirement .I need to create inspectiontion lot in R/3 system , which will invoke a process for creation of sample in another subsystem.But it is not very clear to me what a sample really means in QM, as i am an XI consultant .should a sample contain the recently generated Inspection lot number and its corresponding datas ?

SRM MDM: Workflow Unlaunch while performing the Automatic data transfer

We are trying to import some data from R/3 4.6 C by configuraing remote system as ERP and creating Port based based on the XML Schema in the SRM MDM Catalog. We have created work flow to validate the above pulled data accuracy into data manager. Everything goes well here, I am able to get the data transfered into data manager Automatically But the only issue is in the Work flow.
Set workflow into data manager is not able to launch automatically even though the record is accurate via automatic transfer. I have accuratly set the wokflow name in import manager while svaing the MAP file for automatic import.
Please have your inputs why the work flow is not able to launch in automatic data transfer from the specified port.

Hi Pawan,
please check in the Data Manager, that you selected by the workflow, the right Trigger Actions, such as Record Import. And that the Autolunch is also set correcly.

Automatic Data Transfer

I am trying to create an automatic control for checking automatic data transfer settings calibration for transfer data from SAP-FI to SAP BPC.
Any idea of how to design it? Is there a tabla containing information about the complete transfer of the data?

SMSY_SETUP automatic data transfer

Hi,
I'm trying to configure automatic data transfer between Solman 3.2 and SLD.
So I start schedule data transfert, but from log I see this problem:
Get clients for system 'SMI'
RFC error(): SLDThe accessing object does not support the path //n
Where is the problem?

Transfer vendor COA data in the inspection lot

Hi All,
When the goods receipt purchase order (transaction MIGO) is saved inspection lot is created. In the MIGO we have designed custom screen which has inspection characteristics (fields QAMKR-KURZTEXT, TOLGRENZE, SOLLSTPUMF, QERGDATH).
Now using the inspection lot number created I have to transfer vendor COA data in the inspection lot (which have to be shown in QE01/ QE11/ QE51N).
Please let me know FM or BAPI to do this (should update all fields mentioned above).

Iam not sure about the option to change the Vendor Batch but i can Suggest the other option. i.e Cancellation of GR and creating the new one.
1. First remove the 01 inspection type in Quality Management tab in Material master,
2. Go to goods receipt in MIGo and put 102 movement type and do the reversal.
Now the stock is in the order level. and you can do the GR again.
Activate the QM tab before doing the 2nd GR.
revert back for clarifications if any.

Change "Vendor batch" data in the inspection lot

Hi gurus,
I have created an inspection lot. It is created in automatic once the GR is made.
But, I have introduce the wrong "Vendor batch" and the inspection lot has the incorrect data there.
How I can change the "Vendor batch" data in the inspection lot?
This field is showed as greyed in the transaction QA02.

Upgradation issue 4.6C to 4.7 for DP90-Data transfer module not allowed

Hi All.
We have a issue in upgradation project form 4.6C to 4.7.
Process we follow is Contract,Notification,Service order,Debit memo request.
While doing DP90 for service order we are facing a error as <b>Data transfer module is not allowed</b>
Afetr this system gives you only option to EXIT.
In the log display we get following message :
Data transfer module is not allowed
Message no. V1247
Diagnosis
A wrong data transfer module was entered in Customizing for copying control. When you enter a sales order with reference to a quotation, you cannot copy header data from an invoice, for example. The module number is 306.
System Response
Processing is terminated.
Procedure
Check the copying control for your transaction in Customizing or contact your system administrator.
Any idea how to deal with this

Hi Amrish,
There is a standard SAP program: SDTXT1AID. Start it, and the upper section you can find your incomplete parameters. Sign your relevant parameters (or all) and F8
(not test case).

SLD Bridge : Automatic data transfer

Hi ,
We have configured SLD bridge between system A ( PI 7.0 ) and B ( Solution Manager 7.0 ).

Now How can we check data tranfer is successful or not. And how much time does it take for data transfer.
We have already checked log in Sld-.administration-->log. But so far there is no infomration about data transfer.No error either.

Does anyone know of any BAPI or FM which can change usage decision on inspection lot. I'm already aware of BAPI_INSPLOT_SETUSAGEDECISION. This only works when there is no UD on inspection lot.

To QM people - status and cancelling date of cancelled inspection lots

In what table/fields do I know that an inspection lot is cancelled and the cancelling date?
Transaction QA33 shows an LTCA system status.
JEST table shows only the status (I believe that it registers all the status the lot passed by), but not the cancelling date.

I need to know not only that the inspection lot is cancelled (I get this on JEST table), but also when it was cancelled. For ex. on monday night I loaded from QM to BW an inspection lot that was registered during the day. This lot was cancelled for ex. on thursday. At the night load I have to identify it and load the lot to BW, to maintain is as cancelled also in BW.
What I discovered until now:
- The OBJNR on QALS is the constant "QL" plus the lot number (prueflos).
- On JEST table I have all my lots (from QALS), with the correct status. The cancelled lots have STAT = I0224. But the table doesn't have the cancelling date.
- JCDS table seems to be a good chance, it has status and date fields. But my lots (from QALS) are not there. And, curious, I didn't find any I0224 status.
Everything on the project is OK, this is the only unsolved question, so I'll appreciate any quick answer.

i have to insert data in SAP database using BAPI_PR_CREATE.
which adapter i hv to use for RFC(sender/receiver)(syn/Asyn).
this sceanrio is File1-RFC-File2.
file1 sends the data to RFC to insert data and file2 should hv to send the autogeneration keyID for PR

evrythn is fine,,,,my scenario shows in MONI black flag...but gting only one msg and the data which i sent to SAP is not storing in SAP..and when i search in SM58 in XI server...i cnt see any messages...

Shipping Output Type WMTA for automatic WM Transfer Order

I have a situation.
Regular stock. Sales order, Delivery automatically created, Green light for the WMTA output type, but no TO. (Extras / Delivery output /Header)
In my opion a green light here means my conditon was set up properly, and a Transfer Order should have been created.
Anyone with more specific details for the condition maybe?

If your Plant is assigned to Ware house, Yes in this case, Picking will be done through Transfer Order.
yes if the output is showing the Green light means your condition is correct.other wise it will show the Red light for Error and some times Yellow Light for Incompletion.

An EBS client with interest in maintaining integration in their large customer base backoffice and with CRMOD has had past challenges in terms of the overall size of the data they wish to integration and the time it takes to do so. As such, the client wishes to understand from a data size (X GIGS) and time (how much time) it might take to for instance synchronize their data. Since they would not quantify their data size, I can only ask... how much data be moved and how fast. This is urgent. Any experienced help here using strategies such as batch integration leveraging web services, cast iron systems or PIP is of help here!

For a single large file, a variation of what Milan described, is using a utility that can slice and dice (and reassemble) a single file across multiple TCP flows.
