QOS tagging within RDP channels

Is there any update on plans for RDP or Remote FX to support QOS tagging for different types of traffic within the RDP channels. So that network devices would be able to prioritize interactive traffic ( voice, video telephony etc) over bulk traffic ( file
copy within RDP session etc)

Hi,
Unfortunately there has not been any announcements regarding adding support for tagging.

  • How to get the edit channel link from within the channel?

    Following problem:
    I want to include a link to edit the settings of a channel in the channel contents. The link should be the same as the edit button on the frame of the channel container. Searching through the provider jsps I found that the edit link is created in single.jsp. The code I need seems to boil down to
    <dt:obtainContainer container="$JSPProvider">
      <dtsingle:singleContainerProvider>
      <dtpc:getStringProperty key="editContainerName" id="editContainerName" scope="request"/>
      <dt:getName id="SingleContainer" scope="request"/>
      <jx:declare id="editContainerName" type="java.lang.String"/>
      <jx:declare id="SingleContainer" type="java.lang.String"/>
        <dtsingle:obtainSelectedChannel>
    <A HREF="<dtpc:getDesktopURL/>?action=edit
    &provider=<%=editContainerName%>
    &targetprovider=<dt:getName/>
    &containerName=<%=SingleContainer%>"
    TARGET="_self"> EDIT! </A>
        </dtsingle:obtainSelectedChannel>
      </dtsingle:singleContainerProvider>
    </dt:obtainContainer>However I am unable to get that working in the channel, as I always receive a ProviderException on the line with
    <dt:obtainContainer container="$JSPProvider">
    What am I doing wrong, or is does the obtainContainer simply not work from within a channel?
    If anyone can help me out to get the edit link it would be greatly appreciated. Any hints and/or sample code would help alot.

  • How can I nest tag within each other

    Hello,
    I am trying to nest a tag within another tag as follows:
    <h:selectitem itemValue="<fmt:formatDate value="${d}" pattern="yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm:ss" type="both"/>" itemLabel="Today"/>d is a java.util.Date variable.
    Tomcat won't accept that. What am I getting wrong?
    Thanks in advance,
    Julien.

    I don't think taglibs could be other's attribute value.
    Try using attributes:
    <fmt:formatDate value="${d}" pattern="yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm:ss" type="both" var="anyDate"/>
    <!-- Is a custom tag lib? Use pageContext.findAttribute("anyDate"); -->
    <h:selectitem itemValue="anyDate" itemLabel="Today"/>
    <!-- Does your container accept EL? (Tomcat 5 does) -->
    <h:selectitem itemValue="@{anyDate}" itemLabel="Today"/>

  • Use Transformer tag within HTML tag

    Does anyone know how to use the transformer tag within the HTML tag? I couldn't get it to work...
    I.e <input type="hidden" name"id" value="<pt:userInfo name='EmployeeID' xmlns:pt='http://www.plumtree.com/xmlschemas/ptui/'/>">
    The example above didn't give the actual value...the <pt> tag never got parsed...
    I even tried with the <c:set> JSTL tag as well, same result...the <pt> tag never got parsed...
    Please advise!
    Thanks
    BC

    You can work around this with JavaScript:
    <input type=&#034;hidden&#034; id=&#034;myHiddenField&#034; value=&#034;&#034; />
    <script type=&#034;text/javascript&#034;>
    var employeeID = &#034;<pt:userInfo name='EmployeeID' xmlns:pt='http://www.plumtree.com/xmlschemas/ptui/'/>&#034;;
    document.getElementById('myHiddenField').value = employeeID;
    </script>

  • Use netui tags within javascript function

    Is there anyway to use netui tags within a javascript function? I am trying to create a onChange event handler for a netui:select tag that will call a javascript function which will execute a few netui callMethod tags. The problem is that if the netui tags are embedded within a javascript function they are not translated into javascript. Is there some kind of function that I can wrap the embedded netui tags with so that they will be translated into javascript at runtime? Thanks.

    Hi,
    I am trying to embed JSP code within javascript
    t function, so that it can be called when the user
    leaves the page. No,you can't.
    JSP files are complied on server side while the javascript is the clint side code.
    if you really want to call the functio when the user leaves the page, you can call a function runs on the server side to set the session.

  • Nesting a BC4J JSP data tag within a Struts tag?

    Has anybody tried nesting a BC4J JSP data tag within a Struts JSP tag? I can't get it to work. For example,
    <logic:equal name="sort" value="<jbo:ShowDefinition datasource='ds' dataitem='CustomerName' definition='ColumnName' />">
    blah blah blah
    </logic:equal>

    Try using single quotes in the value=' ' and double quotes in the jbo tag usage.

  • None editable Div tag within a editable Div tag template

    I am using a template i created to build a website and the only editable Div is the 'Content'. Using this template i have created a 2nd template for a portfolio page. On my 2nd template i have a Div tag within the 'Content' Div tag with list of all the jobs i have  done with hyperlinked to photos. I want this list to be only editable on  the template so when i update the 2nd template rest of the files related to  this template get updated.
    Is it possible to have a none editable Div tag within an editable Div tag?
    I hope i have explained this well. Many thanks for your help

    Thank you for your respond.
    I have a main template with just the 'Content' Div Tag editable. Using this template i created anyother template for my portfolio page. Inside the editable Div Tag i have another Div Tag with 2 sets of tables for my portfolio lists. I want this Div tag to be only editable through the 2nd template only as i will have portfolio lists of over 30 pages/links.
    I selected the Div Tag with the 2 set of tables and selected 'Add Object to Library'. First message was that the CSS coding will not be copied but errors messages as follows;
    'While executing canInspectSelectio in phatfusion slideShow_FAB75CA2.htm, a JavaScript error occurred.'
    'While executing canInspectSelectio in Ken Burns Slideshow.htm, a JavaScript error occurred.'
    'While executing canInspectSelectio in Shadowbox3b Gallery_2528933A.htm, a JavaScript error occurred.'
    Everytime i click inside the Div Tag, i keep getting these messages.
    I went to the library and amended the list but only the 2nd template changed, not the related pages linked to the 2nd template.
    Is there a place where i can upload my page in this website so you can see it?
    Please see below the coding for the 2nd template for my portfolio pages;

  • Is it possible to use HTML5 tags within fluid grid layouts?

    Hello,
    I want to build my future websites with fluid grid layouts and Dreamweaver CS6 but I don't find any help by searching the internet how I could use the HTML5 tags like "header" "nav" "footer" etc. within the fluid grid layouts automaticly. If I do anything manually it's more error-prone. Or is just the best way to stay with the "normal" div-tags???
    Thank you in advance, best regards ... Björn

    Those tags are equal to a normal DIV and can be used just the same, they are just not built into CS6.

  • Replace HTML tags within column values

    Hi Gurus,
    I have a requirement where I have some text which has HTML tags inserted within it and I need to insert either Presentation variable or a GO URL replacing that tag. Problem is that this text is value of a column from table. It is not something which I type( because the text can change dynamically). e.g
    Column header:  Main Text
    Row1:            <<COMPANY_NAME>>
    Row2:           As of <<AF_OF_DATE>>
    instead of <<COMPANY_NAME>> and <<AS_OF_DATE>>, I need to insert amounts from another table which have this unique tags and associated amounts. Can this be done?
    I have to these columns in different places throughout the report in narrative views. e.g
    1st narrative view will have only column 1 and row 1 and row 2.. 2nd narrative view will have only column 3 and row1...
    This is really really important part of a report. So please help me out with ideas.
    Thanks,
    Dan

    I tried calling the column in a narrative view and the result looks like :
    As of <<AS_OF_DATE>>. how can I replace "<<AS_OF_DATE>>" with a value?

  • Coldfusion tags within query output

    I have a simple query to a SQL database that returns a record
    set. Within the record set is a field that contains HTML and CFML.
    When I display the content it reads the CF tags literally. Is there
    any way to get the CF tags to be processed when it is returned in
    the query output? See example below.

    Pete is right, very risky.
    I've done a similar feature for a site I wrote that allowed
    users to edit pages on the fly, only I pre-selected functions that
    could be used and created wrappers for them. Then the users would
    insert something like $now()$ in the WYSIWYG. Then when the page
    was requested I would pass the data containing HTML and psuedo-CFML
    through parse routine which would render the end results in a
    controlled manner.
    I would really recommend this route as you will have much
    more controll over the types of scripts that can be run. It is also
    easy to make buttons that insert the code for them.

  • Applying QoS to a port channel

    Hi,
    I've just applied QoS across our network and everything works fine with one exception. We have a 6509 with PFC running Version NmpSW: 6.1(2). The blade in question is a WS-X6348-RJ-45. Two ports on this blade are running as a port channel and a simple acl has been assigned to the individual ports to trust CoS values, see config below.
    set qos acl ip trustcos trust-cos ip any any
    set port qos 6/11-12 vlan-based
    set qos acl map trustcos 6/48
    set port channel 6/48 mode on
    For some reason the DSCP values are being stripped from packets and left with a dscp/cos value of 0.
    My question is Do I need to apply this acl to the port channel group? If I do, how do I do this. I've seen options for placing port channels into an admin group but I haven't done this yet and can't see any commands that would then allow me to apply an acl to such an admin group.
    Any suggestions would be appriciated.
    regards

    You can implememnt VACLs as described below

  • Is it possible to create a tag within XI Logic Mapping?

    I have a situation where we expected a tag, we'll call call child tag, even if there was not a value for it we expected it. The logic depends heavily upon this assumption. Without having to do a major design change....Is there a way to create a tag to fool the XI logic, within the XI logic, into believeing the tag exists?
    If I was able to insert this tag it would fix the issue.
    I know there is standard function, createlf, however, this standard function creates the tag in the target structure.
    Thank-You.

    What about the standard function "mapWithDefault"...have you tried that ?
    Basically it creates an empty node( with the specified defalut value )in the source if the xml tag is missing...

    I'm not sure if this can be done, or if it makes sense, but can I define a javadoc tag that I can place within a method body? I want to use this for documenting my junit tests as follows...

    because they want to Javadoc it! Well, thanks to Yogee's link, you can see you can't...
    A doc comment is written in HTML and must precede a class, field, constructor or method declaration. It is made up of two parts -- a description followed by block tags. In this example, the block tags are @param, @return, and @see. So use comments....

    Thank you,

    In ur program
    Betweens = station.getChildren("between");here the "Between" is a List having "between" elements.
    if u want to traverse through all the <between> elements which are inside the<noservice>,.
    check with this,
    Betweens = station.getChildren("between");
    between = (Element)Betweens.get(0);
    bNames =between.getChildren("station");
    blineNames =between.getChildren("line");instead of this..
    java.util.List Between = station.getChildren("between");
    ListIterator iter = Between.listIterator();
    while(iter.hasNext())
    Element between = (Element) i.next();
    bNames =between.getChildren("station");
    blineNames =between.getChildren("line");
    If the XMl document is something like this..
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <?xml-stylesheet type="text/css" href="style.css"?>
