Query from table a and insert to table b
Hi,
I would like to create an attendance page to record student's attendance on a particular dates.
I have 2 tables - students and attendance tables; in which attendance table will consist of PK from students table and date.
How do I create a form that display all the students record in a page with checkbox and date column; and when user check the boxes and click save; it will insert record into attendance table? Thanks!
Layout similar to the below:
Date: 1/1/2010 (user input)
Name: Attend
student 1 (checkbox)
student 2 (checkbox)
student 3 (checkbox)
student 4 (checkbox)

For this you can do the following
1. Create a Tabular Form on The STUDENT table, i.e. the table you are using as a Fecth only table
2. Make the ApplyMRU and ApplyDRD process conditions Never so they will not be executed
3. Write your own custom process to write the checked rows into Attendence Table.
In the process you will have to refer to the checkbox f+nn+ item using APEX_APPLICATION.G_F+nn+ array and write from similar arrays for the other tabular form items

Create a context node for the screen fields for which you want to enter the values with cardinality 1.1.....
Now in the layout of your view bind the screen input fields to that context node(attributes) to the value property of the input fields...
Now in the action of ADD button....
--> go the wizard and select the read node button and select the node which you have created it generates the auto code for you.....
for example if the node is contains aone attribute like MATNR
reading the node from wizard will generate the code as....

1) First create a directory and grant read , write , execute to the user from where you want to access the flat files and load it.
2) Write a generic function to load PIPE delimited flat files:

Note: when you run the function then it will also modify the source flat file with timestamp , so that we can have the track like which file was loaded .
3) Check if the user is having UTL_FILE privileges or not :

If the user is not having the privileges then grant “UTL_FILE” to user from SYS user:

4) In the function I have used two tables like:
import_hist table and badlog table to track the history of the load and another to check the bad log if it occurs while doing the load .
Under the same user create an error log table to log the error out records while doing the import:

Under the same user create Load history table to log the details of the file and tables that are imported with a track of records loaded:

How can I read an ID-value from the LMS and insert this into an URL?

Right now I am struggling with a little problem. Hopefully anyone here knows the answer. For the latest course I am building (Captivate 6), it is necessary that at one point the course reads an ID-value from the LMS. After that, this ID should be inserted into an URL.
To be more precisely: the ID must be read (getValue) from cmi.archive_id and inserted into an URL like that: http://.../archive.php?action=pdf&objectID=ARCHIVE_ID.
Unfortunately I am more of a designer und less of a javascript-maestro (well...I am a javascript-noob to be precisely), therefore I am pretty clueless how to do that. I tried a simple executed action (run Javascript: cpEIGetValue('cmi.archive_id'); and after that open URL http://.../archive.php?action=pdf&objectID=ARCHIVE_ID), but...well...that didn't work.
Any ideas?

Until SAP NetWeaver 6.40 (inclusive), the password history was fixed to the value 5.
After SAP NetWeaver 6.40, the administrator can set the size of the password history (up to 100 passwords selected by the user).
The administrator can reset a useru2019s password to any initial password, therefore also to one of the last x passwords for this user. This is necessary, since the administrator should not know the passwords of the users. The user is prompted to change the initial password at the first interactive logon.
You can change this with the profile parameter login/password_history_size.

If the files are large, you probably want to use a StAX or SAX. -

Dequeue XML from Oracle AQ and insert data into table
Using PL/SQL in a stored procedure, I need to dequeue a message from an Oracle AQ queue, parse the XML content and insert the data in an Oracle table. This is being done in Oracle 9.2.x.
The payload for the message consists of 2 attributes, APPLICATION_DATA (VARCHAR2(32) and MESSAGE_BODY (CLOB). The MESSAGE_BODY is an XML document. A sample of the message is shown below:

COLOMBIA ...When you get an error with external tables (or sql*loader) look in the same folder as the data file and you should get a .log file and maybe a .bad file too.
The log file should indicate the nature of the error it has trying to load the data.
