Hi All,
I want to create a Query infoset using t-code SQ02,
I want to join table VBAK and KONV for showing all condition types in the Sales order.
However the program disapear error "Table KONV cannot be used in a join"....
Is there other method I can join them using the Query infoset ?
Thanks.
Terry

Hello Kin,
Searching for a solution, I found a Logical Database for sales orders, that have all the information that you need.
Using like reference the post of Bhagavatula, in the same transaction SQVI you can use, instead of the suggested join, you can select a logical database called VAV in Data source.
This logical database links the tables, VBAK, VBAP, VBUK and KONV that is the central point of the question.
You can list the information of logical database using the transaction SLDB.
In 'Logical Database' inform VAV.
Press F8 to list all the fields.
More information about logical database in:

  • In query SQVI unable to join the table konv

    Hi Guru's
    I have a requirement from the user, extract the Open PO's with INCO TERMS and CONDITION TYPES.
    1. what is the process to extract the OPEN PO's from table EKKO.
    In normal process I can extract Open PO's from ME2L and for a perticular Open PO number i can get the INCO TERMS and DOC CONDITION number from table EKKO and by taking the DOC CONDITION number I can get the condition type from table KONV.
    But I want to do this process in SQ01 how is it possible?
    please help

    ISM,
    No.  Such instructions are beyond the scope of these forums, or at least beyond the scope that I would be willing to cover.  FYI SAP provides a class  [BC407 Reporting|http://www.sap.com/usa/services/education/tabbedcourse.epx?context=%5b%5b%7cBC407%7c%7c%7c063%7cUS%7c%5d%5d%7c] to cover such topics.  The class lasts for 2 days.
    I can say that I have created a query that meets requirements that are similar to yours.  It took me a couple of hours to rough out the original version for user testing, and a couple more hours to finalize for production.  It is do-able.
    Following is a link to the Query Help doc.  This was the doc from which I learned SAP Query (I did have previous experience with other report writers)   http://help.sap.com/printdocu/core/Print46c/en/data/pdf/BCSRVQUE/BCSRVQUE.pdf
    I have already given you the general methodology to obtain your data within SAP Query.  If these guidelines are not adequate, then you would probably be better off engaging the services of a programmer to write a custom report.

  • Creation of SAP Query in SQ02 with Single Table With Condition

    Hi All,
    I want to Create SAP Query in SQ02 using single Table MCHA.
    ii) I dont want all entries of MCHA Table I mean , I have to apply some Condition on this Table.
    i.e  Suppose I am having actual data in MCHA table is like this for Material M1.
    Plant    Material   Batch   BatchCreationdate
    P1          M1         B1       20.06.2007
    P2          M1         B1       04.05.2009
    P3          M1         B1       04.05.2009
    But I want the Output of SAP Query is like this:
       Material   Batch   BatchCreationdate
          M1         B1       20.06.2007
    That is irrespective of Plant if Material & Batch are equal ---> 1st record with Lowest date shoud get at the output.
    Please help me How write the code on single table in the SAP Query.
    Thanks,
    Kiran Manyam

    Hi,
    Your query should be like this:
    Select MATNR CHARG HSDAT
    from MCHA
    into table t_mcha
    where matnr = Materlal number from selection screen.
    The structure of t_mcha should contain the fields that you select.
    Then sort the table by date ascending
    Sort t_mcha by HSDAT.
    Hope this solves your problem.
    Thanks,

  • How to add new codes into SAP Query/Infoset

    Hi Experts,
    First time working with SAP Query.
    I need to enhance an existing Query to add a new field into a report.  I have added new tables into this Infoset and joined my new  tables with existing tables and able to extract the new fields out on the report.  But here are my problems:
    Example of original output:
    X88888 500000
    X99999 400000
    Example of new output after adding my 2 new tables to get 1 new field to output:
    X88888 50000  01/08/2009
    X88888 50000  01/25/2009      <--- for X88888 customer, I want only this record w/ latest date to be output
    X88888 50000  01/22/2009
    X99999 40000  03/09/2009
    X99999 40000  04/18/2009
    X99999 40000  04/19/2009      < -- for X99999, I want only this record w/ latest date to be output
    Where/How i can add the code to control this logic so that only 1 record per customer with the highest date can be output.  I looked at the query program and it looks very confusing and hard to understand.
    Please advise,
    Thanks,
    Sam

    Hi Sam,
    Instead on adding new table/tables , better way to use Direct Read from your single table.
    Please read the below steps to suffice your requirement.
    Assumption: Let your original table be A and second table is B.
                            Tables A and B are having field X1 and X respectively, using these fields, they can be joined.
                             You want field date1 of table B.
    Infoset Changes:
    1. Go to SQ02 (Enter Infoset name, click on Change button)
    2. Create an extra field E_date of type date (Sy-datum), by clicking on 'Extras' (F5) button.
    3. Select that field in one of the field group of your Infoset.
    4. Click on Code Icon (Shift+F8) displayed on application bar, you will be getting lists events in 'Code section'.
    5. In Data Section , declare an internal table like below code (here pseudo code)
    data: begin of itab_date occurs 0,
                       date1  like B-date1,
                       end of itab_date.
    6. In Recod processing Event write the following code.
    CLEAR itab_date.
    CLEAR E_date.
    SELECT date1 FROM B into table itab_date                           " Retrieving date field from table B
    WHERE X = A-X1.
    Sort itab_date by itab_date-date1  DESCENDING.                 "Sort internal table B in decendind order on date1
    READ TABLE itab_date index 1.                                            "Read first record of interanal table
    E_date  = itab_date-date1                                                      "Assigning top most date of internal table into field E_date.
    7. Generate the Infoset
    Query changes
    1.Go To SQ01 (in a new session),
    2.Give your Query name, click on change button, and select that field group in which you have added extra field.
    3.Select extra field.
    4.Go to basic list to select that field in your O/p list.
    5.Click on Test button, and see if you are getting desired result.
    Please let me know if you need further details.

  • Failing to refresh LOV fields added in the query panel with table

    Hi.. Iam using Jdev 11.1.1.2.0
    I have a scenario like ..i need to add 2 cascaded lovs in search panel and clicking on search button, the result should be displayed in table form.
    For example..
    I have cascaded LOV fields departmentId and Firstname ,
    first name dropdown values depends on the selection of value in DepartmentIddropdown. I need to add only these 2 fields in search panel and clciking on search buton , the result should be displayed in emp table.
    I have achieved the same creating View criteria with 2 fields and dragging and dropping that as query panel with table. But my problem is First name lov is not populating based on department id. It is showing static dropdown list.
    Please help me how to achieve this ? thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Alekhya.

    Thanks for the reply.. actually if iam using those cascaded lovs in a form then we can set properties as u mentioned to refresh and display values correctly in the dropdown.
    My scenario is like i need to use those fields in query panel header
    code snippet
    <af:panelHeader text="Employees" id="ph1">
    <af:query id="qryId1" headerText="Search" disclosed="true"
    value="#{bindings.EmployeesViewCriteria1Query1.queryDescriptor}"
    model="#{bindings.EmployeesViewCriteria1Query1.queryModel}"
    queryListener="#{bindings.EmployeesViewCriteria1Query1.processQuery}"
    queryOperationListener="#{bindings.EmployeesViewCriteria1Query1.processQueryOperation}"
    resultComponentId="::resId1"/>
    </af:panelHeader>
    Iam not having any field names to add properties.

  • How can I link table KONV with table VBRP and VBRK using KSCHL field?

    Hi experts,
    How can I link table KONV with table VBRP/VBRK using KSCHL field so that items are fully filtered?
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    If you do not want to specify it as hard code, then define a variable for it if you want to pass the value for it from the selection screen so that it will be dynamic. Code will be as follows.
    select-options: x_KSCHL for T685l-KSCHL.
    select kwert
               kbetr
               knumv
               kposn
               kschl
          from konv
          into CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE it_konv
          FOR ALL ENTRIES IN it_all
          where knumv = it_all-knumv
          and   kposn = it_all-b_posnr
          and   kschl in x_KSCHL. "Dynamic Selection as per the selection screen input
      endif.
    Hope this helps.

  • SQL Server Multiple JOINS with Table Value Function - query never ends

    I have a query with 4 joins using a table value function to get the data and when I execute it the query never ends.
    Issue Details
    - Table value function
        CREATE FUNCTION [dbo].[GetIndicator]
          @indicator varchar(50),
          @refDate datetime
    RETURNS
    TABLE
    AS

    FROM TABLE2 T2
    JOIN TABLE3 T3
    ON T2.COLFKT3 = T3.Id
    AND T3.ReferenceDate = @RefDate
    AND T3.State != 'Deleted'
    JOIN TABLE4 T4
    ON T2.COLFKT4 = T4.Id AND T4.Name=@indicator
    JOIN TABLE1 T1
    ON T2.COLFKT1=T1.Id
    - Query
        DECLARE @RefDate datetime
    SET @RefDate = '30 April 2014 23:59:59'
    SELECT DISTINCT OTHERTABLE.Id As Id
    FROM
    GetIndicator('ID#1_0#INDICATOR_X',@RefDate) AS OTHERTABLE
    JOIN GetIndicator('ID#1_0#INDICATOR_Y',@RefDate) AS YTABLE
    ON OTHERTABLE.SomeId=YTABLE.SomeId
    AND OTHERTABLE.DateOfEntry=YTABLE.DateOfEntry
    JOIN GetIndicator('ID#1_0#INDICATOR_Z',@RefDate) AS ZTABLE
    ON OTHERTABLE.SomeId=ZTABLE.SomeId
    AND OTHERTABLE.DateOfEntry=ZTABLE.DateOfEntry
    JOIN GetIndicator('ID#1_0#INDICATOR_W',@RefDate) AS WTABLE
    ON OTHERTABLE.SomeId=WTABLE.SomeId
    AND OTHERTABLE.DateOfEntry=WTABLE.DateOfEntry
    JOIN GetIndicator('ID#1_0#INDICATOR_A',@RefDate) AS ATABLE
    ON OTHERTABLE.SomeId=ATABLE.SomeId
    AND OTHERTABLE.DateOfEntry=ATABLE.DateOfEntry
    Other details:
    - SQL server version: 2008 R2
    - If I execute the table function code outside the query, with the same args, the execution time is less the 1s.
    - Each table function call return between 250 and 500 rows.

    Hi,
    Calling function in general is a costly query. And definitely joining with a function 5 times in not an efficient one.
    1. You can populate the results for all parameters in a CTE or table variable or temporary table and join (instead of funtion) for different parameters
    2. Looks like you want fetch the IDs falling to different indicators for the same @Refdate. You can try something like this
    WITH CTE
    AS
    SELECT
    T1.Id ,T1.ColINT_1, T1.ColNVARCHAR_1 collate DATABASE_DEFAULT as ColNVARCHAR_1 ,T1.ColNVARCHAR_2 ,T1.ColSMALLDATETIME_1, T1.ColDECIMAL_1, T1.ColDECIMAL_1, T4.Name
    FROM TABLE2 T2
    JOIN TABLE3 T3
    ON T2.COLFKT3 = T3.Id
    AND T3.ReferenceDate = @RefDate
    AND T3.State != 'Deleted'
    JOIN TABLE4 T4
    ON T2.COLFKT4 = T4.Id AND T4.Name=@indicator
    JOIN TABLE1 T1
    ON T2.COLFKT1=T1.Id
    SELECT * FROM CTE WHERE Name = 'ID#1_0#INDICATOR_X' AND Name = 'ID#1_0#INDICATOR_Y' AND Name = 'ID#1_0#INDICATOR_Z' AND Name = 'ID#1_0#INDICATOR_W' AND Name = 'ID#1_0#INDICATOR_A' AND ReferenceDate = @RefDate.
    Or you can even simplify more depends on your requirement.

    Brindha.

  • KINAK field in Table KONV not getting updated with value W

    Hi,
    I have a PO where I am deleting a line item.
    After I delet line item the field KINAK in table KONV gets updated with value W.
    But I am getting instance where in some cases the field KINAK is not getting updated.
    The result is deleted line item is getting populated in PO output also.
    Regards
    Nandiini

    KINAK is updated only when a Condition is inactive ! So when a item is deleted the condition becomes inactive and gets updated with 'W' which means statistical(not to be counted)
    A     Condition exclusion item
    K     Inactive due to calculation basis/shipping material type
    L     Condition exclusion header or inactive at header level
    M     Inactive due to manual entry
    T     Inactive at header level
    W     The document item is statistical
    X     Inactive via formulae of incorrect
    X     Inactive via formulae of incorrect
    Y     Inactive because of subsequent price

  • Query panel with table not working in taskflow region

    I've created an adf query panel with table(using all queriable attributes criteria) in a page fragment and at design time it's showing properly. But when inside a region in a jspx page, the search, save and reset buttons of the query panel are not rendering when i'm running the page. Please help.

    Its hard to give any solution without any information like your JDev version, what happens if you drop the query directly in the jspx page, what exception you get in console etc.

  • BPM Payload bind to adf query panel with table

    hi guys,
    i have a requirement to process all result row in the table to my bpm process.
    i have a bpm taskflow and already defined the payload xml.
    in the taskflow UI, i hv a adf query panel with table from a criteria View object.
    how can i bind the search result to the bpm payload ?
    i tried to bind it directly, but it turns out error.
    or do you hv a better approach to this requirement, so i can add/remove row in table dynamically ?
    i use bpm 11.1.1.6
    thanks before.

    Could you give some more details ?
    Do you require that all the rows in the ADF based results table are passed on to the BPM payload ?

  • Slow Query Using index. Fast with full table Scan.

    Hi;
    (Thanks for the links)
    Here's my question correctly formated.
    The query:
    SELECT count(1)
    from ehgeoconstru  ec
    where ec.TYPE='BAR'
    AND ( ec.birthDate <= TO_DATE('2009-10-06 11:52:12', 'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS') )
    and deathdate is null
    and substr(ec.strgfd, 1, length('[CIMText')) <> '[CIMText'Runs on 32 seconds!
    Same query, but with one extra where clause:
    SELECT count(1)
    from ehgeoconstru  ec
    where ec.TYPE='BAR'
    and  ( (ec.contextVersion = 'REALWORLD')     --- ADDED HERE
    AND ( ec.birthDate <= TO_DATE('2009-10-06 11:52:12', 'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS') ) )
    and deathdate is null
    and substr(ec.strgfd, 1, length('[CIMText')) <> '[CIMText'This runs in 400 seconds.
    It should return data from one table, given the conditions.

    Although your optimizer_mode is choose, it appears that there are no statistics gathered on ehgeoconstru. The lack of cost estimate and estimated row counts from each step of the plan, and the "Note: rule based optimization" at the end of both plans would tend to confirm this.
    Optimizer_mode choose means that if statistics are gathered then it will use the CBO, but if no statistics are present in any of the tables in the query, then the Rule Based Optimizer will be used. The RBO tends to be index happy at the best of times. I'm guessing that the index ehgeoconstru_VSN has contextversion as the leading column and also includes birthdate.
    You can either gather statistics on the table (if all of the other tables have statistics) using dbms_stats.gather_table_stats, or hint the query to use a full scan instead of the index. Another alternative would be to apply a function or operation against the contextversion to preclude the use of the index. something like this:
    SELECT COUNT(*)
    FROM ehgeoconstru  ec
    WHERE ec.type='BAR' and
          ec.contextVersion||'' = 'REALWORLD'
          ec.birthDate <= TO_DATE('2009-10-06 11:52:12', 'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS') and
          deathdate is null and
          SUBSTR(ec.strgfd, 1, LENGTH('[CIMText')) <> '[CIMText'or perhaps UPPER(ec.contextVersion) if that would not change the rows returned.

  • ADF query panel with table, adding new search fields dynamically

    I am a beginner very new to ADF world. I have a ADF query panel with table which has its source from a ViewCriteria. I need to add a new search field on the form dynamically based on the user's need. Assume I am using a Employee table and I have search "employee ID" as one field in the form, upon clicking a add button in the form I need to have a another "employee ID" field appears along with the already existing one.
    I tried to add the condition in ViewCriteria but do not know how to add it ?
    Could some one pls address how it can be approached ?

    User, please always tell us your jdev version.
    Well, this use case need some thinking to be done. What do you want to archive with adding a new query field to the panel? As you said you already have one field for employeeId and now, on a click on a button, you add another one. How would the resulting query work with the new field? Should it use 'and' to concatenate the query or should it use 'or'?
    I suggest that you use the ADF Riche Client Demo (http://jdevadf.oracle.com/adf-richclient-demo/faces/index.jspx) select the Query node and then select 'af:query'. This shows you what is possible otu of hte box using the af:query component. You can add fields to existing queries in advanced mode (e.g. use system query 5, which starts with an empty panel and allows you to add fields).
    Once you understand how this works you may come back with a more detailed use case description or you have found the solution already. Read the documentation on af:query along with trying otu the component.
