Query on Activate Transfer of Incoming Sales Order - CO-PA

Hi ..
I have a question, where I have 3 option when I drop down in Inc sales order which is
1) Active with date of entry
2) Active with Deliv Date/Billing Plan Deadline (Using KWMENG)
3) Active with Deliv Date/Billing Plan Deadline (Using KBMENG)
My question what is the differencen between 1,2 and 3 ...
In what occasions should use them, also I would like to know what is the significant difference between 2 and 3.
Pls advise
TQ
Nathan

Hi
Here you define when you want to transfer the documents from SD module to COPA.
1) Active with date of entry - This transfers the data on the date of creation of sales order to COPA
2) Active with Deliv Date/Billing Plan Deadline (Using KWMENG)
3) Active with Deliv Date/Billing Plan Deadline (Using KBMENG)
This transfers the data in the period of billing or delivery date. The difference is that the receiver value field is different in 2 and 3.
Award points so as to say thanks.

  • Incoming Sales Order to COPA

    Hello,
If we activate Incoming Sales Order scenario in COPA, then it creates a COPA document when sales order is created or changed.
    1. What happens when it is billed, does it creates one more COPA document with new record type F, and also retains the older one with record type A
    2. Also we need to activate for a given SALES ORDER TYPE, which will be like 3-5% of total sales orders that will be created, if not, it will create COPA documents for all other SALES ORDER TYPES as well, when the order is created, which is not required, and will lead to huge redundancy in data...How can i achieve this?
    Cheers

    Hi Ajay,
    your suggestion (BAPI_COPAACTUALS_POSTCOSTDATA,..) sounds interesting.
As per now, I never had the requirement to transfer "some" incoming sales orders to CO-PA and others not.
From my point of view due to the fact that the record type "A" posting never gets "reversed" if the sales order is billed or cancelled there is only limited additional value if the incoming sales order transfer to CO-PA is activated.

  • History - Incoming Sales Orders!

    hello,
i load data from 2LIS_11_VAITM into BI. Now, i should historicize the changes of "Incoming Sales Orders" per month/year in my DSO "Incoming Sales Orders". I use BI 7.0
The rules in my start-Routine of Transformation
    1. If a new Position(recordmode = empty) is insert,then map 1:1
Incoming Sales Order = netvalue of position.
    2. Change of a existing position
       in this case i get a Before-Image(recordmode = 'X') and a After-Image(recordmode =empty).
       Incoming Sales Order = Incoming Sales Order(actual month) + delta(value After-Image/value Before_Image)
    3. Delete position
Incoming Sales Order = - Sum ( all booked values of the current position)
    Example:
01.02.2008 a new position with value 1.000,00 was inserted.
    PSA:
    recordmode |Bel_|pos|date______|value
    _____''____|1000|10_|01.02.2008|1.000,-
    DSO:
    |Bel_|pos|0CALMONTH|netvalue
    |1000|10_|02.2008__| 1.000,-
At 05.03.2008 the value raise to 1.200,-
    PSA:
    recordmode |Bel_|pos|date______|value
    ____'X'____|1000|10_|01.02.2008|1.000,-
    ____''_____|1000|10_|05.03.2008|1.200,-
    DSO:
    |Bel_|pos|0CALMONTH|netvalue
    |1000|10_|02.2008__| 1.000,-
    |1000|10_|03.2008__| 200,-
In the same month(20.03.2008) the value raise again.
    PSA:
    recordmode |Bel_|pos|date______|value
    ____'X'____|1000|10_|05.03.2008|1.200,-
    ____''_____|1000|10_|20.03.2008|1.500,-
    DSO:
    |Bel_|pos|0CALMONTH|value
    |1000|10_|02.2008__|1.000,-
    |1000|10_|03.2008__|500,-
At 10.04.2008 the position was deleted.
    PSA:
    recordmode |Bel_|pos|date______|value
    ____'R'____|1000|10_|10.04.2008|-1.500,-
    DSO
    |Bel_|pos|0CALMONTH|value
    |1000|10_|02.2008__|1.000,-
    |1000|10_|03.2008__|500,-
    |1000|10_|04.2008__|-1.500,-
Could anyone help me to realize it.. I'm a absolut beginner in ABAP.
    regards sunny

As already described above the KE4F does not solve the problem.
The incompleteness check still shows missing segments, even if they have been created via KE4F.
The only thing that resolves the problem at the moment is the manual change of each position, after KE4F with deleting the segment and creating a new one. But we have many orders with a high number of positions so the manual effort is much too high.

  • How to activate WBS Element in Sales Order

    Dear All,
How to activate WBS element in sales order?
    Thanks & Regards,
    PM

Basically in case of Repair and overhaul material is taking inside for repair purpose..for that we create service order in which we r creating component, operation(time. labor, machine) besides we create notification to allow overhead activity for this special activity..
once this service order r created and notification is set.. we r estimating cost for this process and updating sales price(DP82) which further send to customer for approval.. once v receive approval v issue a goods along with parental serviceable material to Plant for Plant maintenance estimation..
so all this procedure obey just like project , in this case we have to assign WBS element into sales order level..
WBS elemet is nothing simply its hierarchy which shows what r the steps followed in project(CJ20N)..
Correct me if i m wrong..

  • Historicize - Incoming Sales Orders

    Hallo,
I extract SD Sales: Document Item data from DataSource 2LIS_11_VAITM into a DSO Document Items.
I should historicize the Incoming Sales Orders. Therefore, I add an additional key (0CALMONTH) (u201CStatistics dateu201D in DS) in the DSO.
    New key: order number |item number| 0CALMONTH
In the start-routine I should distinguish the follow cases:
    1. New item
If there is a new item (0RECORDMODE=empty), then the fields are mapped 1:1 to DSO. Incoming Sales Order value = Net value of billing item (NTWR).
    2. Modify an existing Item
In this Case I get 2 Items from the Source. A Before- image (0RECORDMODE=X), and an After-Image (0RECORDMODE=empty). To determine the Incoming Sales Order value (positive or negative), I must calculate a delta between new and old Incoming Sales Order value.
In addition I have to look, whether it is already a changing in the actual month.
Incoming Sales Order value = Incoming Sales Order value (actual month) + delta( Net value After_image / Net value Before_image).
    3. Delete item (0RECORDMODE=R).
Incoming Sales Order value = - Sum (all net values of existing item)
    Example:
    DSO before:
Order| Item | Calendar month | Net value  | Currency
    4711 |10__|02.2008________|1.000, 00__| EUR
    4711 |10__|03.2008________|200, 00___| EUR
    DataPackage:
    Record Mode| Order| Item | Statistic date | Net value | Currency
    X__________|4711 |10__|02.2008________|1.200, 00__| EUR
    empty______|4711 |10__|02.2008________|1.500, 00__| EUR
    DSO after:
Order| Item | Calendar month | Net value | Currency
    4711 |10__|02.2008________|1.000, 00__| EUR
    4711 |10__|03.2008________|500, 00____| EUR
Have anyone a idea, how could i realize it. (Steps).
    Thanx  Caro

  • Creating Query to show items from open sales orders with a/p invoice

    Hi experts,
I am trying to create a query that will show what items/quantities are still in open sales orders that can now be filled by an incoming shipment of goods, processed through the a/p invoice.
This needs to be done using subqueries, which I have no experience with.  I am trying to do this using the ORDR and RDR1 tables to show the open items from the sales orders and the OPOR and POR1 tables to show items just received in to inventory.  I would like the query to show exactly the open item's, their quantities, the posting date from the sales order and the customer name that can now be filled from the new shipment through the a/p invoice.
    I appreciate the assistance,
    Hayden (on behalf of Todd)

    Hello,
    try this
    SELECT T0.[DocDate], T1.[ItemCode], T1.[Dscription],( T1.[Quantity] - T1.[DelivrdQty]) As "Open Qty" FROM ORDR T0  INNER JOIN RDR1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry WHERE T0.[DocDueDate]  <= [%0]And ( T1.[Quantity] - T1.[DelivrdQty]) != 0
Try this query in query manager.

  • Transfer of Intercompany sales orders using LSMW

    Hi
I have to Transfer the open intercompany sales orders using LSMW. Consider a scenario where customer places an order on sales org A with plant A. sales org A raises purchase order on Sales org B with plant B. The material moves from Plant B ie supplying plant to delivering plant A. THen it is delivered to custome from plant A. Can u please tell me whether i have to pass the suppying plant or it will be determined automatically. Similarly what about the purchase requisition no. Is it created automatically.
    Thanks
    regards
    Tushar

    Hi,
The purchase requisition is going to automatically created incase of a intercompany order  (ie nothing but the third party order).  In this case of orders the line item category in the sales order would be TAS. The intercompany sales order nothing different from a normal order during the creation of the order, after that the operations will be different from the normal standard order.  You can use the same LSMW which you have used for transfering normal standard orders.
The configs are going to be different in the system for intercompany sales orders compared to the standard sales orders. That is the problem of the functional consultant to take care.
    Thanks,
    Mahesh.

  • Issues on cross-company stock transfer triggered by sales order

    Hi, friends:
As our business process required, we need to make the cross-company sale between to plants under two company codes.
The business process required is different from standard inter-company billing in SAP SD module. Our business process is as follows:
sales order --> PR --> PO --> cross-company stock transfer --> delivery to customer --> billing.
However, there is a difficulty in this process of make-to-stock production method. When we use schedule line item in SO to trigger the PO, there is a must to assign "account assignment category" in PO. This indicator is unchangable in PO by manual. When post goods recepit against the PO, there is no stock quantity udpate in un-restricted stock. By the way,  I selected "C" in the "account assignment category" of schedule line item cofiguration.
Checked the MM documents, I found it seemed like only two results of PGR against PO with account assignment category. One result of PGR is directly consumpted by receiptent or unloading point. The other result of PGR is updating sepecial stock. For example, I've fullfilled the process for make-to-order production method, the stocks are specified for sales order.
In our requiremnt, we have to post to normal un-restricted stock for the following ATP in sales order.
Could any friend give some suggestion on this issue?
      Thanks!
    Justin

    Hi, Venkadesh:
I've checked the Purchasing view and quantity/value update in both plants of different company codes. That's correctly configured.
In the business process, the quantity in normal un-restricted stock updating still doesn't work.
Do you mean that as follows: if select any indicator in  "account assignment category", we have to use UNBW or NLAG material type in the purchase order?
I have successfully fullfilled the process in make-to-order sales order, with material type FERT and account assignment category "E". The account assignmnet categroy is obligatory in sales order schedlue line item configuration, which is to trigger PO by SO. The configuration path is as below:
      IMG>Sales and Distribution>Sales>Sales Documents>Schedule Lines-->Define Schedule Line Categories
If possible, would make a test in your system to check how to fullfill the process with make-to-stock sales order, FERT material?
      Thanks!
    Justin

  • Transfer posting for sale order

I have Material A Received from customer A 100 mtrs, in Storage location 0001
Customer is telling me to use only 20 mtrs. so i will raise sale order (for the rest of the 80 mtrs he will tell when to issue to prod)
By this time i have to do transfer posting only for 20 mtrs and also i have to create a batch and keep it in 0002 storage location
what is the correct movement type i have to use??

    Hi murugan,
I am receiving material by raising PO, then i am doing GR
For eg suppose customer is giving 10000 mtrs, i will raise PO for 10000 mtrs and take the printout of it and i give to him as Receipt that PO number is for eg 1000
i will do GR for 10000 qty against that PO number 1000 and keep it in 0001 str location
in stock i will have 10000 mtrs of customer material
Later after 1 month he will tell me what design has to be printed on the Material
that too he wont give for total 10000 mtrs he will be giving only for 2000 mtrs
for this 2000 mtrs i have to create a batch and i keep it in 0002 str loc
while receiving material the code will be CM01
After receiving the design from the customer we have to do transfer posting for 2000 mtrs and the code will be BC01 batch - 1000b01(shows 1000 is the Tracking number(PO number) B01 Batch 01)
so that we come to know how much material have been received from the customer and for how much metres we have received design
How much is still lying in storage location, tracking will be easy
My question is CM01(customer material at initial stage dont have batch number)
After receiving design for partial quantity  to do TP matereial to material  for 2000 mtrs fromt received 10000 mtrs.
Material to material TP at that time system should create Batch? sale order also will be created as soon as we receive the Design for 2000 mtrs

  • Activate Rebates for Old Sales orders created

    Hi SAP Gurus,
How to activate rebate agreement or rebate condition records to old sales orders which has been created at past ?
let me take an example and explain:
    1. Total sales cycle is created (Sales Order, Delivery & Billing with Accounting document) is created on 06.06.2014 and rebate agreement is created on 26.06.2014.
Now my client is asking to link the rebate agreement which is created on 26.06.2014 to the Sales Cycle which is created and completed on 06.06.2014.
    Balajia

    Hi Balajia
The rebate process supports retroactive processing.
If you have activeate the new rebate procedure (via S136) you can run VBOF and as long as the
validity of the agreement and the agreement conditions cover this document created before the agreement the rebate condition will be inserted in the billing document and posted to FI.
If you do not have the new rebate procedure activated it is not possible to update the old document
but if it falls within the validity of the agreement it wil be included in the final settlement of the agreement carried out via VBOX.
Notes 75778 and 105681 in addition to 410579 should help you clarify the issue.
    Hope it helps
    Kind regards

  • Query for quotes not converted to Sales Orders

    Hello,
I am relatively new to SAP B1 (little over a year now) and I am trying to build a query but I have no idea how to approach this one.
I am trying to find Sales Quotes not converted to a Sales Order.  Sounds simple but here is where they start getting complicated.  I need to specify a date range (normally a year but could be quarterly).  Need to specify one or more items, groups, or vendors.  Need to display our cost for each item on the quote(s).
Any help on this would be great.  I have used the query wizard in the past with some success but this one is getting way out of my comfort zone.
Many thanks to all who have contributed to these discussions.  It is nice knowing that I am not the only newbie around.
    Keith H

    Hi Keith.
Following a little query for your request.
Take note that query return only the ROWS of sales quote which are never converted in a sales order.
It means that if you have a sales quote whit 1 rows and 1000 unit, and you convert the quote in a order for 500 unit, the quote is considered converted in a order and not displayed
The cost is the price set in PRICE LIST 23 as you say in a your previous post.
    SELECT
    a.DocDate ,
    a.DocNum,
    a.CardCode,
    b.ItemCode,
    b.Quantity,
    d.ItmsGrpNam,
    b.Price as 'QUOTE_PRICE',
    e.Price as 'COST'
    FROM
    inner join QUT1 b on a.DocEntry = b.DocEntry
    inner join OITM c on b.ItemCode = c.ItemCode
    inner join OITB d on c.ItmsGrpCod = d.ItmsGrpCod
    inner join ITM1 e on b.itemcode = e.ItemCode
    where
    a.DocDate between [%0] and[%1]
    and b.TargetType <> '17'
    and b.ItemCode Like '%[%2]%'
    and e.PriceList = '23'
    EDIT:
In your first post you say
Need to specify one or more items, groups, or vendors.
Please explain what you means for
    => one or more items
in this point you can have some problem with the query manager...
    Hope that help

  • Forecasting Based planning, consider incoming Sales orders, Consume PIR's

    Hello Guys:
I am in real Problem about this one: I am implementing forecast-based MRP for our client which is a trading company: buys, keeps in storage and sells goods (R/3 ECC 6). We are using material forecast on a monthly period, and run MRP on a weekly period since POs are to be created weekly (therefore we also use the "Splitting indicator" to split monthly forecast values to weekly requirements)
The way MRP calculates future stocks in this situation (MRP type VV) is like this:
    Current stock
    + Open POs to arrive
    - Forecast Requirement
    = Future stock
The problem with that one is that if there is an SD order or delivery in the future, SAP does not count in that one as well. It is a real problem, just imagine that in two weeks we have a forecast of 10 pieces of a material. SAP will propose Preqs based on this 10 piece consumption, even if we have an SD sales order for that week on 30 pieces. (by the way the SD order is in the list of MD05 but SAP does not count in that one for future stock reductions).
If I modify the MRP type in customizing OMDQ, I can make SAP to count in real consumptions (sales orders) in the future stocks: I set "MRP procedure" to PD (MRP) or "R1" (Time-phased materials planning). In this case MRP calculates like this:
    Current stock
    + Open POs to arrive
    - Forecast Requirement
    - Real future requirements (sales orders)
    = Future stock
So in this case SAP will recommend double quantities to purchase: once for the forecast reqs and on the other hand for the real sales orders.
It is a trap, SAP should reduce the forecast requirements with the real requirements. The really bad news is that there is a switch for this in OMDQ for the MRP types called "Reduce forecast" but it is not working: I have tried all the combinations of codes in the frame "Use forecast for MRP" but it can only decrease req for the current month and only on a timely basis code "2" for MRP procedure "PD" or "R1".
    Thanks for Help.
    Sweth123

    Hi Mario:
I am using MRP type PD , Running the forecast using MP30 which generate the forecast requirement.
I go to MD61 , I Slected Material Forecast option and Copied the forecast requirements as planned independent requirement,
AFter that when i run MD02 and go to MD04 Screen.
System Displays MRP Element: UnPlrq----Forecast quantity  --1000
MRP Element VSF for Planned Independent requirement -1000.
Based upon historical consumption data , if there ia requirement of 1000pc , system is proposing 2000 pcs to buy.
Is there any config setting i need to change so that system won't double the requirement quanitities?
    Please clarify
    Sweth.
