Query on batch number in Invoice

Hi Experts,
I would like to get the batch number picked during the Delivery document and shown in the print layout in A/R Invoice. Unfortunately, PLD of Invoice with Batch will not show the Batch numbers as they're already linked in the DR document.
My workaround is to attach a FMS in the INV1 field line to get the batch number when the Invoice is copied from the DR.
Any help with the query is very much appreciated.
We are using 8.81 PL7.
Thanks,
Don

Hi Don..........
Please check this........
Select (Case When T1.BaseType=15 then I1.BatchNum else I11.BatchNum end) 'BatchNum', T0.DocNum 'Inv. No'
FROM OINV T0  INNER JOIN INV1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry INNER JOIN OCTG T2 ON
T0.GroupNum = T2.GroupNum LEFT Join INV12 T3 On T3.DocEntry=T0.DocEntry LEFT JOIN OITM T4 On T4.ItemCode=T1.ItemCode LEFT JOIN OCHP T5 On T4.ChapterID=T5.AbsEntry
LEFT Join DLN1 T6 On T6.DocEntry=T1.BaseEntry and T6.LineNum=T1.BaseLine
left outer join IBT1 I1 on T1.ItemCode=I1.ItemCode   and (T6.DocEntry=I1.BaseEntry and T6.ObjType=I1.BaseType)
left outer join OBTN T8 on T8.ItemCode=I1.ItemCode and I1.BatchNum=T8.DistNumber
LEFT Join WTR1 T16 On T16.DocEntry=T1.BaseEntry and T16.LineNum=T1.BaseLine
left outer join IBT1 I11 on T1.ItemCode=I11.ItemCode   and (T16.DocEntry=I11.BaseEntry and T16.ObjType=I11.BaseType)
left outer join OBTN T18 on T18.ItemCode=I11.ItemCode and I11.BatchNum=T18.DistNumber
LEFT Outer Join OWHS T20 On T20.WhsCode=T0.Filler
Run this query you get Invoice No. and its Batch.....
You may insert required c0olumns also.....

  • Query of batch number range

    Hi experts
I found that I can assign a external  batch number  to  a material manually, but in background I have not assigned an external number range for batch, who can tell me that's why?
    thank you!

    Hi,
It is not relevant with No. Range of Batch
Go to SPRO > Logistics - General > Batch Management > Creation of New Batches > Define Initial Creation of Data for Batch Master Transactions > Here for Material Type select option as "C" (Automatic / No Manual)
Also check in SPRO > Logistics - General > Batch Management > Creation of New Batches > Define Batch Creation for Goods Movements > Here for Movement Type select option as "C" (Automatic / No Manual)

    Hi
    i want query that
suppose i create 'i01' item make management method by batch.
when i create ap invoce at that time i add vendor refrence number add add that 'i01'
item with '5' quantity's then add. at that time it ask for batch update.
then i get new window of batch OBTN  in that window  i make user defined field.
"In that user defined field i want that vendor reference number which i give in ap invoce "
    so plz help ..................

    Hi,
Unless I misunderstood your question (if so, sorry), I presume you mean formatted-search to copy vendor reference number from main A/P Invoice form to batch selection form, isn't it? You can't do this, formatted search works in one form, can't work across two form / document. Hope this help.

  • Batch Number in A/R Invoice

    Hi All,
How do you print Batch Number of an Item in A/R Invoice PLD?
    Thanks
    SV Reddy

    Hi SV,
i think directly will not get the batch no field in PLD,
sorry, i dont have any test(client) database. so try this way,
    Table -> INV1 - A/R Invoice- Row
    Column -> BatchNo.
    or
Create the UDF and assign the FMS.
i think, (get the batch no)FMS is not possible on A/R invoice .
it is possible to Create the UPDATE Stored Procedure
but you should not write the UPDATE Stored Procedure in SAP database.
best way, Create the UDF and type the Batch No on A/R Invoice.
->> Open the A/R invoice(System) PLD and Save as the New PLD.
->> Create the UDF(Batch no) Field in Repetetive Area on PLD.
Save as and Run the Print Preview.
    OR
Try to Create a Query Report and design a QPLD.
If you want to Create QPLD, Check the thread, will be get some idea or solution.

  • Adding new Batch Number to AP Invoice

i am working on adding new batch number to an existing AP IN by SDK function. I try the following codes, no errors prompt but also nothing updated. Can anyone advise me how to add new batch number to AP Invoice? Many Thanks!
    Dim ErrMsg As String
    Dim ErrCode As Integer
    Dim opch As SAPbobsCOM.Documents
    opch = oCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oPurchaseInvoices)
    opch.GetByKey(5)
    opch.Lines.BatchNumbers.Add()
    opch.Lines.BatchNumbers.BatchNumber = "3"
    opch.Lines.BatchNumbers.Quantity = 3

    If ret <> 0 Then
          oCompany.GetLastError(ErrCode, ErrMsg)
          MsgBox(ErrCode & " " & ErrMsg)
    End If

    Hi ,
    Steps to do:
1.Create an User Defined Field on Document Row Level:
    Name: Serial / Batch Details
    Type: Alphanumeric
    Structure: Text
    - Create a Formatted Search which will populate the data from Delivery note.
    - Put the UDF into the Print Layout of Delivery Order.
    Displaying Batch Details
    2.   Decide with information is needed from Batch details to be printed out on A/R Invoice
On Bacth Details form (Inventory\Item Management\Batches\Batch Details) we can see all the possible details.
    - Batch Number
    - Delivered Quantity
    - Expiration Date
    3.    Build the formatted search SQL command.
By a SQL cursor driven result set we can build a text which contains the list of the delivered batch details separated by new lines. The relations between A/R Invoice and Delivery note is defined on A/R Invoice Form. in columns 45, 46, and 43
    declare @batch as nvarchar(100)
    declare @txt nvarchar(max)
    set @txt = ''
    declare P cursor for SELECT T0.[BatchNum] + space(1)
      + cast(cast(T1.[Quantity] as decimal(19,2)) as nvarchar)
      + space(1) + case when T0.[ExpDate] is null then '' else convert(nvarchar,T0.[ExpDate],102) end
      FROM OIBT T0 INNER JOIN IBT1 T1 ON T0.ItemCode = T1.ItemCode and T0.WhsCode = T1.WhsCode
      and T0.BatchNUm = T1.BatchNum
      WHERE T1.[BaseEntry] =$[$38.45.0] and T1.[BaseLinNum] =$[$38.46.0]
    open P
fetch next from P into @batch
    while @@fetch_status = 0
    begin
    set @txt = @txt '\n'@batch +','
fetch next from P into @batch
    end
    close P
    deallocate P
    select @txt
    4. Defined the formatted search on the A/R Invoice.

  • Batch Number in Proforma Invoice

    Hi All,
Our customer has a requirement for proforma invoice for order in export sales and they want to give a batch number and want to see it in proforma invoice before delivery. Is it possible to do it? and how to maintain it if it is possible?
Thanks for your help in advance.
    Regards,
    Sinan

    Hi
If you determine batch in SO, you can populate the field CHARG in table VBRP for the proforma invoice with copy rules. But as usually batch is determined in delivery, if it's your case, I don't understand the reason to write batch in proforma invoice, because the reasonable is that the batch that you write won't be the same that you will send.
    I hope this helps you

  • Batch Number on AR Invoice Printout

    Hello Experts,
Can somebody please guide me, I have a requirement of having Batch number on AR Invoice Printout. I am unable to do that, help required please.
    Thanks & Regards,

It is quite dificult to do so using PLD (you can show batches easily when reocrding an invoice which is not coming from an delivery, otherwise, batch data is stored in delivery tables).
I've done this using crystal reports. You can get batch information true sql or even Subreports (one take information when batch is recorded during invoice creation, another one takes information when batch is recorded during delivery creation), etc.
I recomend you to use Crystal Reports, definitively

  • Trying to create a query that shows Sales Order/Invoice Totals as well as Paid/Outstanding/Available Down Payments

Currently working on SAP B1 v8.82
I'm looking to generate a query that will give an overall report for a given customer that shows Sales Order No, Invoice No, Sales Order Total, Invoice Total, Amount Paid on Invoice, Amount Remaining on Invoice, Down Payments Available, Open on Sales Order.
I'm not sure what the best way to select the columns in bold above.  Invoice Total should be self-explanatory.  Amount Paid should be any down payments or applied payments on the invoice.  The balance due on the invoice (which seems to be T0.DocTotal if I'm not mistaken) should = 'Invoice Total' - 'Amount Paid on Invoice'. In the Down Payments Available column I want the total amount of money on the account or on down payments that aren't tied to a Sales Order.  If a client overpaid in the past for instance and there's a credit on their account, then it should contribute to this sum.  Open on Sales Order should be pretty easy.  I guess it's just the sum of everything that is still open on the Sales Order.  I'm just not sure what the best way to sum all the un-delivered freight, tax, and line items is.  Here's what my query looks like so far.
SELECT DISTINCT T4.[DocNum] [Sales Order No],
    T0.DocNum [Invoice No],
    T4.DocTotal [Sales Order Total]
    T0.DocTotal [Amount Outstanding],
    FROM OINV T0
    INNER JOIN INV1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry
    INNER JOIN DLN1 T2 ON T1.BaseEntry = T2.DocEntry AND T1.BaseLine = T2.LineNum
    INNER JOIN RDR1 T3 ON T2.BaseEntry = T3.DocEntry AND T2.BaseLine = T3.LineNum
    INNER JOIN ORDR T4 ON T3.DocEntry = T4.DocEntry
    INNER JOIN OSLP T5 ON T4.SlpCode = T5.SlpCode
    WHERE T0.CardName Like '%%[%0]%%'
    GROUP BY T4.DocNum, T0.DocNum, T0.DocTotal, T4.DocTotal
I tried doing a little searching around for queries similar to what I need, but I could find exactly what I was looking for and I'm very unfamiliar with OJDT, JDT1, and ITR1 tables which I think might be important to finding unapplied payments...

Thanks.  There's a few problems though.
    1)  It seems that OINV DocTotal != Balance Due.  I'm seeing a number of invoices where there was a balance due, but we applied additional money (either we took another incoming payment and applied it or applied money from the account balance, etc.) and yet it still shows a total.
    2)  It's pulling incoming payments from different customers.  I think this is because the table was joined based on "RCT2 T4 on T4.[DocEntry]  =  T3.[DocNum] and T4.[InvoiceId] = T2.[LineNum]"  In one example I have 2 incoming payments 446 and 614.  Both have the DocEntry 542, but one relates to A/R Invoice 542 (for a different client) while the other relates to Down Payment Invoice 542.  *I was able to fix this by adding WHERE T5.CardCode = [%0]*
    3)  I'm going to work with this a little bit and see if I can alter it to make it work for me.  Basically this query falls a little short on the following:
    -  Doesn't include incoming payments that aren't linked to a down payment invoice.
    -  Does not give the Invoice Total (I'd like to know how much of the SO was invoiced.  DocTotal seems to give me Amount Invoiced - Down Payments.  I'm not sure the best way to get this number.  Maybe I could do the sum of each line * tax + freight)
    -  Does not give the outstanding amount on an invoice.  The ARtotal [DocTotal] column gives me how much was owed when the invoice was created, but it doesn't tell me what is currently owed.
    -  Lastly it may complicate the query too much and could be left off, but it would be nice to see if they have any money from credits or incoming payments that has not been applied.  Perhaps this would be easily accomplished by simply pulling in their account balance.

  • Batch Number Transaction Report

    Dear Experts,
Is it possible to modify the form settings of Batches table in Batch Number Transaction Report as I need to add in some user-defined fields into it?
Below is the layout of my Batches table in the report:
    Batches
    #   Item No   Item Description   Batch   WhsCode   Qty   Status   Manufacturing Date
and I would like to add in Width, Length & Height columns in the table.
I can't preset the value of length, width & height of the item in Item Master Data because different batches of same item will have different length, width & height. So I created these fields (Width, Length, Height) in Goods Issue & Goods Receipt and assigned different values there. After that, I need to do some references at Batch Number Transaction Report to find out which batches got the specified measurement of that item.
    Thanks in advance.

Hi Sachin. I think you have misunderstood what I mentioned before.
I want the report to show like this
Item No.   Item Description              Batch   WhsCode   Qty   Direction   Status        T     W        L
    A893S     Pine 14 x 125 x 1030mm          A123    WH01       100   In        Released   14   125    1030

    A126B     Ash 14 x 125 x 1090mm          J123     WH01        50   In         Released   14   125    1090
In fact, below is the result table that I get
Item No.   Item Description                Batch   WhsCode   Qty   Direction   Status        T     W        L
    A893S     Pine 14 x 125 x 1030mm            A123    WH01       100   In           Released   14   125    1030

    using this query
    SELECT T0.[ItemCode], T0.[ItemName], T0.[BatchNum], T0.[WhsCode], T0.[Quantity],
case when T0.[Direction]=0 then 'In' when T0.[Direction]=1 then 'Out' end Direction,

  • Check a UDF of batch number when I create Goods Issue or Delivery

    Hello,
I manage my items with batch number and I want to block the creation of all  Goods Issue or Delivery in function of the value of a UDF (created the OIBT table).
I think I can achieve this by using the stored procedure SBO_SP_TransactionNotification, but I never used it and I don't know if (and how) I can retrieve the selected batchnumbers of my documents.
Is it possible to do so, or do you have any better suggestions???
    Thank You,
    Xavier.

    Hi Xavier,
You can find some additional information about the SBO_SP_TransactionNotification stored procedure here:
    The stored procedure only returns the following;
    - Object type
    - Transaction type
    - Num_of_cols_key (number of columns in the primary key of the object)
    - List_of_key_cols_tab_del (the list of the columns in the primary key)
    - List_of_cols_val_tab_del (the values of these columns)
So the stored procedure doesn't directly return the information you want. You would have to link this with a DI application to access the document in question using the value of the primary key returned by the stored procedure. (Or through using an SQL query also using the primary key returned by the SP).
Please note however, that SBO_SP_TransactionNotification is designed for notification purposes only. SAP can only support any issues arising out of use as a notification mechanism; the use of this stored procedure to block transactions or work as an authentication step are not supported. Please see SAP note 1011154 for more information.

  • Batch Query with Batch but need address lines split by column

    Hi folks,
I have the following query I created with the batch number of the sales order:
    SELECT T0.[DocDate] as "Date", T1.[DocNum] as "Sales Order Number",  T0.[CardCode] as "Customer Code", T0.[CardName] as "Customer Name",T1.[Address2], T0.[ItemCode],  T0.[ItemName], T0.[BatchNum], T0.[Quantity], T1.pickrmrk FROM IBT1 T0, ORDR T1 WHERE T0.[BaseNum] = T1.[DocNum] and T1.docstatus = 'O' and T0.WHSCODE = '01' order by T0.BaseNum
Now I need to split the address by column so need street, block, city, county, country and zipcode fields from CRD1, but would either need the ship to address of the sales order it is selected or even just the default ship to address of the sales order.  In above query T1.[Adress2] is not quite right for our needs, as this file will have to be exported to 3rd party.  So I have gotten this far:
    SELECT T0.[DocDate] as "Date", T1.[DocNum] as "Sales Order Number",  T0.[CardCode] as "Customer Code", T0.[CardName] as "Customer Name",T1.[Address2], T2.[Street], T2.[Street], T2.[Block], T2.[City], T2.[County], T2.[Country], T2.[Zipcode], T0.[ItemCode],  T0.[ItemName], T0.[BatchNum], T0.[Quantity], T1.pickrmrk FROM IBT1 T0, ORDR T1, CRD1 T2 WHERE T0.[BaseNum] = T1.[DocNum] and T1.docstatus = 'O' and T0.WHSCODE = '01' and T0.[CardCode] = T2.[CardCode] and T2.[AdresType] = 'S' order by T0.BaseNum
but will split into multiples if a business partner have more than one shipping address.
Can someone please advise on this one?
    Many thanks in advance,

Thanks Agustin, tried it with RDR12 as the following query:
    SELECT T0.[DocDate] as "Date", T1.[DocNum] as "Sales Order Number",  T0.[CardCode] as "Customer Code", T0.[CardName] as "Customer Name",T1.[Address2], T2.[StreetS], T2.[BlockS], T2.[CityS], T2.[ZipCodeS], T2.[CountyS], T2.[CountryS], T2.[ZipCodeS], T0.[ItemCode],  T0.[ItemName], T0.[BatchNum], T0.[Quantity], T1.pickrmrk FROM IBT1 T0, ORDR T1, RDR12 T2 WHERE T0.[BaseNum] = T1.[DocNum] and T1.docstatus = 'O' and T0.WHSCODE = '01' order by T0.BaseNum
but has multiple lines for different addresses (and not just shipping addresses of that businss partner sales order).
Anymore ideas or can you spot error in the query?
    Thanks again,

When you need only PO numbers, link only the 3 tables to make your query simpler.
    ap_invoice_distributions_all aida,
    po_distributions_all pda,
    po_headers_all poh
Only po based invoices will be selected for these tables
