In details:-
The script is Sum.sh.I pass two variables in the command line.The script is successfully executed but I want to store the "result of the summation" inside a odi variable.How to do it?Please Answer
Thanks

My actual requirement is to store the output in a odi variable (without storing the value in database or file(as an intermediate step) and then read it). Is it possible??
Do not think it is possible directly.
If not, then you please provide me the code/procedure how to read the file and then store the value in a odi variable

  • SQL Query (PL/SQL Function Body returning SQL query) doesn't return any row

    I have a region with the following type:
    SQL Query (PL/SQL Function Body returning SQL query).
    In a search screen the users can enter different numbers, separated by an ENTER.
    I want to check these numbers by replacing the ENTER, which is CHR(13) || CHR(10) I believe, with commas. And then I can use it like this: POD IN (<<text>>).
    It's something like this:
    If (:P30_POD Is Not Null) Then
    v_where := v_where || v_condition || 'POD IN (''''''''||REPLACE(''' || :P30_POD || ''', CHR(13) || CHR(10), '','')||'''''''''')';
    v_condition := ' AND ';
    End If;
    But the query doesn't return any rows.
    I tried to reproduce it in Toad:
    select * from asx_worklistitem
    where
    POD IN (''''||REPLACE('541449200000171813'||CHR(13) || CHR(10)||'541449206006341366', CHR(13) || CHR(10), ''',''')||'''')
    ==> This is the query that does't return any rows
    select (''''||REPLACE('541449200000171813'||CHR(13) || CHR(10)||'541449206006341366', CHR(13) || CHR(10), ''',''')||'''')
    from dual;
    ==> This returns '541449200000171813','541449206006341366'
    select * from asx_worklistitem
    where pod in ('541449200000171813','541449206006341366');
    ==> and when I copy/paste this in the above query, it does return my rows.
    So why does my first query doesn't work?
    Doe anyone have any idea?
    Kind regards,

    Thanks for the help.
    I made it work, but via the following code:
    If (:P30_POD Is Not Null) Then
    v_pods := REPLACE(:P30_POD, CHR(13) || CHR(10));
    v_where := v_where || v_condition || 'POD IN (';
    v_counter := 1;
    WHILE (v_counter < LENGTH(v_pods)) LOOP
    v_pod := SUBSTR(v_pods, v_counter, 18);
    IF (v_counter <> 1) THEN
    v_where := v_where || ',';
    END IF;
    v_where := v_where || '''' || v_pod || '''';
    v_counter := v_counter + 18;
    END LOOP;
    v_where := v_where || ')';
    v_condition := ' AND ';
    End If;But now I want to make an update of all the records that correspond to this search criteria. I can give in a status via a dropdownlist and that I want to update all the records that correspond to one of these POD's with that status.
    For a region you can build an SQL query via PL/SQL, but for a process you only have a PL/SQL block. Is the only way to update all these records by making a loop and make an update for every POD that is specified.
    Because I think this will have a lot of overhead.
    I would like to make something like a multi row update in an updateable report, but I want to specify the status from somewhere else. Is this possible?

    Hi,
    Its very difficult to analyse the query without any data being provided. So I suggest you to debug the above query by keeping basic join condition intact and comment out all the other where conditions for initial run.
    FROM pa_request pr, pa_transaction_request ptr, org_unit ou
    WHERE ptr.pa_trnsctn_rqst_sid = pr.pa_trnsctn_rqst_sid
    --AND pr.org_unit_sid = ou.org_unit_sid
    --AND pr.oprtnl_flag = 'A'
    --AND ptr.oprtnl_flag = 'A'
    --AND ou.oprtnl_flag = 'A'
    --AND pr.pa_mode_type_lkpcd = 'BT'
    --AND (pr.status_cid = 86 OR pr.status_cid IN
    (20, 70, 30, 80, 25, 101, 96)
    --AND pr.pa_rqst_sid = 75006271If if you have given join conditions proper and if data exists ,you can see set of rows displayed.
    Next step is to keep on uncommenting each of the where condition
    AND pr.oprtnl_flag = 'A'Like this you 'll come to the condition which does not match your requirement
    Hope this helps

  • Failed to execute MDX query. Reason: returned server error (). (IES 10901) (WIS 10901).

    Hi,
    I am trying to create a Webi report based on an OLAP Universe. I am using BI 4.1 SP01
    I did the following:
    1. I have setup a databse connection for SAP SSM via the create connection wizard in the Universe Design Tool. My connection is created sucessfully.
    2. Next I created a Universe saved it and exported it.
    3. In webi I am trying to create a report, I selected a couple of measures in the "results objects" section. In the qurey filters section I selected month.
    When I run this query, I am getting an error message: Database error: Failed to execute MDX query. Reason: returned server error (). (IES 10901) (WIS 10901).
    I tried to search for similar issues reported on SCN forums and other places and it looks like a generic error and this was not answered in some of the discussions
    Any help is very much appricated.
    Thanks

  • Need help writing a MySQL query that will return only records with matching counter-parts

    Since I don't know how to explain this easily, I'm using the
    table below as an example.
    I want to create a MySQL query that will return only records
    that have matching counter-parts where 'col1' = 'ABC'.
    Notice the 'ABC / GHI' record does not have a
    counter-matching 'GHI / ABC' record. This record should not be
    returned because there is no matching counter-part. With this
    table, the 'ABC / GHI' record should be the only one returned in
    the query.
    How can I create a query that will do this?
    id | col1 | col2
    1 | ABC | DEF
    2 | DEF | ABC
    3 | ABC | GHI
    4 | DEF | GHI
    5 | GHI | DEF
    *Please let me know if you have no idea what I'm trying to
    explain.

    Please be more clear. You say that 'ABC / GHI' should not be
    returned,
    and then you say that 'ABC / GHI' should be the only one
    returned. Can't
    have both...

  • Access Parameter Query by form, returns a form for each returned value

    I have a form set up with a parameter query. It returns data from multiple tables. My problem is it returns the data for say 7 records, but then it repeats the entire form 7 times, the forms are identical with all the data included. I want it to return
    the data on one form. It must be a setting, or statement that is lacking but I can't seem to find it.

    Hans,
    Thank You for the response. I first changed the setting in the SubForm Query, same result. Then I changed it in the Report, still no difference. After reading some information in other forums it may be because I am pulling the data from the Tables using
    the InvoiceNum field from one table, on both the Report and the SubForm, and I have the Report and Subform linked by this field. The InvoiceNum field is the Foreign key created to pull the desired data, if I don't use it I get all the data in the tables, not
    just the data I need.

    Hi
    I am trying to wright a SQL query that will return the date the timesheet was submitted and date/time it was approved, can anyone guide me on this?
    I basically need person name who submitted, date - time it was submitted for approval, then the person who approved it and the date - time that it was approved

    Ruby

    Ruby,
    you can start with HXC_TIMECARD_SUMMARY table for submitter detail. But for approver details, i think you need WF tables to get the data for item type HXCEMP.

    i .e 8 should not update 3 flag data . in IKM update its lost and if i put update on both id and flag i have two copies . so i just want to compare and load all the date of table 1 completely and then table 2 which doesnt mached with id .
    Please suggest .

    Hi Dev,
    For the situation as you described do something like:
    1) load the firts table with IKM Control Append
    2) Load the second table with the IKM Incremental Update but change the "UPDATE" option to "NO" and use the ID as KEY.
    That will give you exaclty what you wanted because will only load the new records from second and ignore those that already exists in the target.

  • SQL query with parameter returns empty result set, please help !!!

    Hi there,
    When I use the following query :
    <sql:query var="beroepsthemas" >
    select *
    from beroepsthemas
    where beroepsthemaid = ?
    <sql:param value="12"/>
    </sql:query>
    When I want to browse the result set with :
    <c:forEach items="${beroepsthemas.rows}" var="rij">
    it shows no records. But it must return at least one.
    All my jsp pages with sql queries and parameters have the same problem.
    This is all on my test environment. I'm using Ubuntu 5.10, Netbeans5.0, JDK 1.5_06, application runs in Bundeled Tomcat 5.5.9, MySQL 4.1.12, mysql-connector3.1.6
    When the same code is run on the live environment, it works just fine.
    The difference is :
    Mysql 4.1.10a, tomcat5.5.9, mysql-connector3.1.6
    What can there be wrong !!

    When the same code is run on the live environment, it
    works just fine.
    The difference is :
    Mysql 4.1.10a, tomcat5.5.9, mysql-connector3.1.6
    I didn't catch this. I think you may need to update the database driver.

  • 'People Search Core Result' web part with 'office' filter in Keyword Query is not returning results

    I have created a page with "People search core result" web part on SharePoint 2010.
    When I try to use the setting (A) or (C) as shown below, there is no results been returned but when set to setting (B), there are results been returned.
    In the returned results I can see the OfficeNumber field is been populated with values and some of them is "UK Finance".
    Setting (A)
    Result Query Options
    -- Fixed Keyword Query = contentclass:spspeople -- Append Text To Query = Department:"Finance" AND OfficeNumber:"UK Finance"
    Setting (B)
    Result Query Options
    --- Fixed Keyword Query = contentclass:spspeople --- Append Text To Query = Department:"Finance"
    Setting (C)
    Result Query Options
    --- Fixed Keyword Query = contentclass:spspeople --- Append Text To Query = OfficeNumber:"UK Finance"
    What am I doing wrong here? Am I missing something? Do I need any additional configuration in order to get this to work?
    I hope someone could help me or point me to the right direction.
    Thank you
    muges

    You might want to check the Manage User Properties area of the User Profile Service in Central Admin.
    Any properties you query on should be marked "Indexed" or "Use in Scopes".  You can also check that you are using the correct internal name for these properties.

  • How to populate query multiple data returned as arrraylist?

    I am new to JSP and likes to know as mentioned in the subject.
    There are total 3 files.
    createUser.jsp -> Here I have to pupulate TITLE form field drop-down.
    TitleDAO.jsp -> Business logic has written to get DB records of titles.
    TitleBean.jsp -> getter/setter bean object.
    Now Here I am pasting all 3 files.

    Try out following way, fetch bean data from Arraylist.
    for (int i = 0; i < getTitlesRs.length; i++)
    out.println("<br>Object[" + i + "]=" + getTitlesRs.getTitleID();
    out.println("<br>Object[" + i + "]=" + getTitlesRs[i].getTitle();

  • How to Automate the Query Search Upon Return to the Calling Form?

    Greetings Ya’ll Gurus,
    Could you please share with me how to make the Query Search executed automatically each time, when database table is updated, upon return to the “Calling Form” (i.e. FormA in this posting) from the “Called Form” (i.e. FormB from here on)?
    I have FormA call_form to FormB. FormB may return to FormA. FormA allows users to enter the Query parameters and perform query Search to the database table with a list of search results afterward; whereas FormB allows users to add or delete the same database table records. Both form images are as follows:
    FormA:
    !http://dot.state.ak.us/nreg/jtomasic/FormA_DWR_SEL.GIF!
    FormA call_form to FormB by clicking PB “Daily Work Report” (see circled PB "Daily Work Report" in the above image.)
    FormB Image (FormB allows users to add and delete database records):
    !http://dot.state.ak.us/nreg/jtomasic/FormB_DWR.GIF!
    FormB EXIT_FORM and returns to FormA (see circled PB "DWR Selection" in above image).
    Currently, our users must press the PB “Search” on FormA each time to refresh the Query “Search” results after returning to FormA, and they request to have the "Search" done automatically/programmatically upon return to FormA each time when the database table is updated.
    If you have programming code on this and are willing to share or if you have any suggestion or thoughts on this, it would be most greatly appreciated.
    Thanks a lot & Happy Holidays!

    Thanks so much Andreas, and yes, your link for calling a form and passing a context is very helpful. I believe, your suggested use of the global variable for the saved database table will work for the automation of the Query Search. I am, however, not sure how to make the code and the trigger to automatically perform Query PB "Search". The code for our current "WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED" Trigger for the PB-Search of FormA is as following:
    DECLARE
         alert_button     NUMBER;
         alert_id               ALERT;

        CLEAR_BLOCK(NO_VALIDATE);

        IF :BLK_DISPLAY.DWR_SEQ_NO IS NOT NULL THEN

              GO_ITEM('BLK_CONTROL.PB_SEARCH');
         END IF;
    end if;
    END;My questions are:
    After initializing, set and/or reset the global variable for the saved database table,
    do I copy the above code (i.e. the "entire" code in the "WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED" Trigger for the PB-Search) to the WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE-trigger, or other trigger(s), of FormA to automate the Query Search whenever there is a successful database commit/save? Or
    is there a simple way to activate the code in the "WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED" Trigger for the PB-Search of FormA? Or
    is there a simple way to activate the EXECUTE_QUERY(ALL_RECORDS) command in the WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE-trigger or other trigger(s) of FormA ?
    Thanks and always.

  • An Urgent Query about ODI

    Hi,
    I have done a scenario which executes sum.sh file.This scenario is successfully executed by OraclediAgent. Now a web service(Let from bpel/soap ui) invokes this agent using agent's wsdl url (like this:-
    http://localhost:8886/oraclediagent/OdiInvoke?wsdl) and then the OraclediAgent execute the scenario. I am successful for this case too.Now my questions are:-
    *1)Is it possible to return the summation result to the invoker web service(bpel/soap ui) through odi.*
    *2)Is it possible to show the o/p(result of the summation) in odi console.*
    and my last question is:
    *3)Every time when the bpel/soap ui invokes OraclediAgent it gets session id as a return.How do I know the execution of the sum.sh file is successfully done or not wrt to invoker.(or more clear to say in weblogic console?)*
